Description:

We are excited to offer you this gorgeous 1938 Ford Deluxe for sale at our Saint Louis Gateway Classic Cars Showroom. It has lots of modern features and upgrades and is ready for you to cruise and enjoy today. BACKGROUND: The 1938 recession hurt sales, as did Fords continuing of the 1937 cars, including most body panels. 1938 Deluxe models were differentiated with a heart-shaped grille. The engine used that year would have been a V8 with either 60 or 85 horsepower. A new dash was used, with recessed controls for safety. This restored 1938 Ford Deluxe is being powered by a 400M (also called a 351M), which is a short-skirt overhead valve pushrod V8 engine. As you can see in the video, this coupe has no deficiencies in starting, accelerating, or anything. It is a very smooth ride. Additional features include Air Conditioning, Spare Tire, Hub Caps, Power Brakes, Power Locks, a Jack, Power Seats, Power Windows, Tilt Wheel, Keyless Entry, Seat Belts, Anti-theft System, and Wide White Wall Tires. The exterior is sporting a recently completed high gloss Hot Poppy Red/Black Dupont paint job. The chrome shines like new and there isnt noticeable scratches or dents anywhere on the body. The interior also looks very clean with its ivory leather seats and a dash painted to match the exterior. Everything about this 1938 Ford Deluxe is meant to turn eyes and attract attention. We hope it attracted your attention enough to give us a call to ask for more details or arrange shipping. To view this 1938 Ford Deluxe in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis showroom. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is very proud to present this immaculate and rare 1972 Chevrolet K-10 Cheyenne Super for sale at our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. These early 70s Chevy trucks have taken flight with collectors in recent years and a truck like this is even hard to find. This 4-wheel-drive short bed, One Family Owned with low mileage of 39,203 Actual (according to the seller) is an honest truck that was never modified other than the radio and tilt steering added. We love the red exterior paint with woodgrain accents on the tailgate that really give this beauty character. A tonneau cover for the short-bed is a great aftermarket addition that will keep your belongings protected from the elements wherever youre heading in this Red Chevy. The 350 CID V8 under the hood fires into life with willingness and muscle while a 3-speed automatic transmission keeps the rear wheels turning and the front when in 4WD. Inside, youll find a pleasingly original layout with factory gauges and a vinyl/cloth bench seat thatll fit as many people as can fit with seat belts. Classic 70s styling with the vinyl and wood grain accents help set this mostly original Cheyenne Super apart from the competition. This really is a great opportunity for any C-10 enthusiast who is looking for a practically unmolested truck in a market where examples like this are becoming rarer and more valuable to collectors. Give our educated and helpful Sales staff a call by dialing (623) 900-4884 and we will walk you around this 1972 Chevrolet K-10 Cheyenne Super truck ourselves and find any additional information you are looking for. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer this beautiful 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS available for sale in our St. Louis showroom. This Chevelle SS is painted in the iconic red paint with painted on white racing stripes. This flows nicely with the white vinyl interior and top which are in great condition. Popping open the hood you will see the 396 CID V8 Big Block that is said to me the original motor. The engine VIN stamp matches the VIN on the title and vehicle. This car has the most desirable combination with its 396 engine and the Muncie Rock Crusher 4-speed manual transmission. According to the assembly code this car was born with an automatic transmission, but the transmission is numbers matching in the sense that is is period correct to the vehicle, but does not back the VIN. Out back is a 12 bolt rear end that is sure to withstand and plant the power this car is pumping out! The odometer reads 81,915 miles, but the motor only has 10,000 miles since being rebuilt. This car needs nothing and is in show ready and scream down the street condition. The 1970 Chevelle is one of the most desired years to add to the collection due to its rarity of only being a 1 year run of this body style refresh. Do not let this head turner 70 SS slip your grasps, inquire today! This one is a 1962 Chevrolet Nova based C/Gas dragster, and is powered by a 383 stroker driving through a manual valve body TH400 transmission to a 12 bolt positraction rear with 4.11:1 gears. The steel body is painted in red PPG paint and the interior is complete with rollcage, racing seats, and a racing harness. Here is some history for those who would like background on this exciting style of dragster. The term Gasser refers to a style of drag race car that was prolific in the late 1950s through the 1960s that ran on gasoline as fuel, as opposed to race fuel. These cars typically competed in heads up drag races that were classed by engine size and car weight. In the faster classes the cars used a straight axle front suspension that produced the intimidating stance that gassers are known for. Easily recognized by common features like the higher front end stance that was developed as a means of weight transfer to the rear wheels for traction, this style became popular later as builders attempted to achieve a traditional or nostalgic race look. These cars became fan favorites as the well-known racers began to run grudge matches for higher purses. In no time these matches were the top billing at many shows due to the crowd entertainment factor. Gassers were the top drag racing classes in the period that is now referred to as the gasser war years, which ranged from 1955 through 1968.In addition to the straight axle, most gassers also sported Halibrand wheels, no front bumper, and had a front mounted Moon tank. The gasser form was dictated by function and most builders looked to eliminate as much weight as possible. Having their exhaust pipes exit through the front fender to shorten the length of exhaust tubing is another common characteristic of gassers. Builders used 1930s through 1950s production coupes or sedans to create these highly modified racing vehicles. Late model cars were not allowed in the Gas classes until 1967, and the gas classes were totally eliminated by NHRA in 1972. They run today all over the United States and down under in Australia and New Zealand in vintage and nostalgia drags. To view this 1962 Chevrolet Nova gas dragster, please visit our site at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call 317-688-1100, or email us at indy@gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

For sale in our Dallas Fort Worth showroom is a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Copo Tribute. Over the years, COPO has become synonymous with Chevys monster-displacement Camaros. Its a term that is still used today by Chevrolet for the purpose-built drag racing Camaros, which are released year after year, just 69 units at a time. But what does COPO really mean? An acronym for Central Office Production Order, COPO was the method used by dealers in the know who could use it to order options, or a combination of options, that werent specifically listed on the order forms. The most famous use was when dealers used the COPO system to circumvent GMs 400-cu-in limit on anything that wasnt a full-size car or a Corvette. If you knew what dealers to go to and who to talk to, you could have used the COPO system to order a factory installed 427 in a 1969 Camaro or Chevelle. This COPO Tribute was done up in fresh Yellow paint with black interior. The engine is a 454 block with 427 internals, that is backed up by a 4 speed manual transmission. This combo packs the punch you expect from big block in a small bodied car! To view this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Copo Tribute in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit: www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is excited in presenting this 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle for sale at the Milwaukee Showroom. The Chevelle became one of the more popular vehicles in Chevrolets lineup to upgrade and hotrod as they came with a pretty solid muscle car platform in the first place. This dark green metallic beauty started life as a 136 non-SS car and was upgraded with all the goodies in mind. Under the super striped hood resides a 454 cubic inch big block power plant which has been bored .030 over and outfitted with a Comp Cams hydraulic camshaft, larger cut valves in the cylinder heads, long tube Hooker headers going out to an x-pipe based exhaust to Flowmaster mufflers. This makes for classic muscle power and a choppy nostalgic sound that will be sure to have you showered with compliments. The Big Block is bolted to a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with electronic overdrive which offers a modern touch on cruising highway speeds when combined with the 3:55 rear gear ratio found inside the 12-bolt rear axle. Aside from having legendary performance under the hood, the Chevelle has some extras making this car an absolute dream to drive out on the road including air conditioning courtesy of Vintage Air, LED headlights, power steering, and an aftermarket radio deck with a CD player. This restomod comes ready to go from the time you put the key in the ignition, just make sure youre the person holding the key! This 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle is at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to offer this 1979 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ43. Produced from 1960 to 1984, the FJ43 is like an FJ40 for the person who craves a little extra cargo space. The FJ43s body is a foot longer than the FJ40! The FJ43 evolved from early Toyota BJ and J20 series 4x4s. These were copies of the classic US army Jeep during the Korean war. By 1960, Toyota had refined and perfected their recipe for the 4x4 runabout formula and deemed the FJ43 suitable for world export. This lovely Red FJ43 comes to us by way of Columbia and still powering it is the original numbers matching gasoline inline six-cylinder engine and mated to the original 3 speed manual with 4WD. This Truck appears to be blessed with a frame off restoration from top to bottom, inside and out. The old factory, canvas soft-top was replaced with a gray one that has the availability to roll open the side curtains for the rear passengers. The red painted exterior, gray top and painted gray accent pieces, became a combination that catches the eye and looks period correct. With a flick of the key, the 6-cylinder engine roars to life and pulls this little 4x4 down the road with minimal fuss. Its a plucky little truck with a borderline agricultural feel as it takes you back to that only the essentials driving experience FJ43s are known for. Its rugged, reliable, and has classic good looks! Everything youd want is a vintage 4x4! This 1979 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ43 is for sale by our Atlanta Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information, please call our knowledgeable staff at (678)-894-4833 or email us at Atlanta@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer a rugged 1973 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ45. Toyota sits in the off road enthusiasts hall of fame thanks to this vehicle. Toyota rolled out the FJ40 series in 1960 and competed with the likes of Land Rovers, Jeeps, and later the Ford Bronco and Chevrolet K10. The FJ45 was a rugged, two door, 4x4 vehicle with amazing off road capabilities, and rather primitive interior treatments. The hard top is removable so open air cruising is a possibility. FJs came without carpet, and with vinyl upholstery so even if youre out in the mud and in the elements, theyre easy to keep clean. Under the hood of this particular Land Cruiser youll find the venerable Toyota 2F 4.2L Inline 6 with 3 Speed Manual on the floor and a 4x4 transfer case. Stout axles front and rear and BFG off-road tires will take this thing just about anywhere you want to go. With a restoration done in 2009, This off-road gladiator now sports power steering. This FJ would make a great weekend runabout or a daily driver, and will put most new 4x4s to shame off pavement. Vintage 4x4s are in high demand, and most have rusted away to nothing. Luckily this Toyota has been well preserved and is ready for many more years of duty. You can see this 1973 Toyota FJ45 Land Cruiser for sale in greater detail in our Dallas showroom.
