Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this charming 1936 Ford Model 68 Sedan! This old Ford is an example of a seasoned old classic. The 221ci flathead v8 purrs like a kitten and is quick to fire up. It drives and shifts well too! The car shows just the right amount of patina. The paint is lacquer, so it still holds a nice shine. The window glass has settled and shows some bubbling - likely evidence of being 86 years old. The interior is broken in but free of major rips and tears. Just slack carpet and pits in the fabric. 86-year-old cars are rarely found in this condition anymore. This 36 Ford is most likely a restored survivor that has aged into a nice comfortable shoe. It runs and drives well and is very presentable. A great driver that you can enjoy without worry or restore on a budget! This 1936 Ford Model 68 Sedan is listed by our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this 1971 Chevrolet El Camino. The concept of a two-door vehicle based on a passenger car chassis with a tray at the rear began in the United States in the 1920s with the roadster utility (also called roadster pickup or light delivery) models. Although based on corresponding General Motors car lines, the vehicle is classified in the United States as a pickup. The Chevrolet El Camino is a coup utility vehicle that was produced by Chevrolet between 1959-60 and 1964-1987. Unlike a standard pickup truck, the El Camino was adapted from the standard two-door Chevrolet station wagon platform and integrated the cab and cargo bed into the body. Introduced in the 1959 model year in response to the success of the Ford Ranchero coup utility, its first run, based on the Biscaynes B-body, lasted only two years. Production resumed for the 1964-1977 model years based on the Chevelle platform and continued for the 1978-1987 model years based on the GM G-body platform. Chevrolet introduced a longer El Camino in 1968, based on the Chevelle station wagon/four-door sedan wheelbase (116 in (2,946 mm), overall length: 208 in (5,283 mm)); it also shared Chevelle Malibu exterior and interior trims. The interior was revamped including cloth and vinyl or all-vinyl bench seats and deep twist carpeting. The 1971 El Camino got fresh front-end styling (again shared with the Chevelle) that included large Power-Beam single-unit headlights, a reworked grille and bumper, and integral park/signal/marker lights. For 1971, mandated lower-octane unleaded fuel necessitated a reduction in engine compression, and GMs A.I.R. system, a smog pump, was added to control tailpipe emissions. Powering this El Camino is a 350 Cubic Inch V8 backed by a Automatic Transmission. Options on this 1971 Chevrolet El Camino include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with Bluetooth, Anti-Theft System, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, Air Ride Suspension in the Rear.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is proud to present this 1951 Oldsmobile Rocket 88. By 1951 the 88 was the entry level model in the Oldsmobile line up. This was the first year all Oldsmobiles came exclusively with the Rocket V-8. The rocket engine was an all-new design that pumped out 135hp. Quite an accomplishment when you consider the ever-popular Ford Flathead V-8 was putting out 35 less horsepower. The 1951-52 Rocket 88 was an instant hit with its sleek design. It didnt hurt that the 88 Rocket was also crowned King of Nascar. Some even consider the Rocket 88 the predecessor to the muscle car era. This 1951 Oldsmobile Rocket 88 is painted in Tuxedo black with and abundance of chrome and stainless body trim. Gold emblems of the world on both the front and rear, factory wheel covers, and that ever famous Rocket hood ornament are the true stand outs on the exterior of this beautiful car. The interior is elegantly appointed in a tan cloth interior with full carpeting. The ornate dash comes with a full gauge package and an AM radio. The 303 Rocket V-8 is attached to a Hydramatic transmission.

Description:

As we progress further into the 21st century, these Model As are becoming more appreciated for their position as basic transportation from nearly 100 years ago! More of a time capsule than a classic car, experience how the world commuted almost a century ago. This 1928 example exists just as it did in 1928; a recently refreshed drivetrain, new tires and an interior absent of any noticeable wear. Crank over the 177 cubic inch motor and it fires right up. The Model A drives old, but it drives well. The gears are easy to engage, the clutch is smooth and the steering is unassisted. According to the owner, the motor(which has been painted Ford Blue) has less than 20 miles on a fresh rebuild.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is pleased to offer this beautiful 1977 Ford Ranchero! COUNTS KUSTOMS was contracted to rebuild and customize this 1977 Ranchero which spent its entire life in Nevada. The $53,000 project started in early 2014 with the body being removed from the frame and the entire body, frame, suspension, and firewall sandblasted. This Ranchero was intended to be driven frequently with lots of highway miles so the original 400 engine and automatic transmission were replaced with a more powerful and completely rebuilt paring. It now is powered by a 460 engine with a 429 intake manifold. A new out-of-the-box Holly 650 double pumper and fuel rail sit on top. The rebuilt transmission has an electronic gear vendor overdrive added to provide a smooth and more fuel-efficient ride on the highway. Finally, a B&M; QuickSilver center council shifter was added to complete the Hot Rod power train.During reassembly, all door, hood, and tailgate hinges were replaced. Under the hood Vintage Air (R-134A), a larger power brake booster, and a new radiator with dual electric fans were added. The water pump, fuel pump, power steering pump, spark plugs, and battery have also been replaced recently. The Count put his custom touches on the new front grill assembly, and sleek tail lights, totally redone the interior and moved the gas fill door for the new 20-gallon gas tank to inside the bed.The finishing touch was a Counts Kustom Paint job with an ocean shoreline theme. The owner who commissioned the build loved the ocean and visits it often. With this in mind the award-winning paint job depicts water and sand splashing behind each of the four tires and on the tailgate is a large wavewaving good-bye. White stripes run down the long hood providing the driver with something that catches the eye and the blue-with-white stripes theme was incorporated into the interior upholstery. All the chrome was sent out to be re-chromed and all the stainless trim was buffed. All the suspension parts were replaced and 4-wheel disc brakes were installed. A new dual exhaust system from the headers to the chrome exhaust tips was added. It now rides on a set of 157 & 158 Cragar Vintage chrome 1 piece G/T 5 spoke wheels.Since its completion in March 2014, it has been entered in numerous car and truck shows winning several of them. Total miles are driven by this Customized 1977 Ranchero since completion is just over 5000 miles. This 1977 Ford Ranchero is listed by our Dallas Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is proud to present this classic 1984 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz. In 1984, eight years after Cadillac built its last convertible, the division temporarily resumed production of a convertible version of the Eldorado Biarritz. Cadillac reportedly commissioned the American Sunroof Company of Ohio to construct the Eldorado Convertible, and only 3,300 are said to have been built. These Cadillacs were loaded with all the latest accoutrements for the year, the cabin features six-way power-adjustable front seats upholstered in white button-tufted leather along with maroon carpets and simulated wood trim on the dashboard and door panels. Equipment includes power windows and locks, cruise control, intermittent wipers, automatic climate control and a cassette stereo with a five-band graphic equalizer. Backing this bright and shiny 84 Caddy is a 4.1L V-8 with a smooth shifting 4 speed automatic with Electronic Overdrive giving you the luxury of power at the pedal with great fuel economy. A red leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted on a tilting and telescoping column and frames a digital speedometer, a gauge for fuel range, and a pair of digital Information Center displays. The Biarritz is probably one of the most luxurious models Cadillac ever produced, a car that drives like you are riding on a puff of air, complemented with an interior that compares to a formal living room.
