Description:
Up for sale by our Atlanta facility is a very rare piece of automotive innovation. Gateway Classic cars of Atlanta is proud to offer this F-85 Oldsmobile Cutlass Jetfire. The Jetfire shared the distinction with Chevrolets Corvair Monza Spyder, as the first production turbo enhanced power plant on the market in the United States. The defining improvement was the 215 HP engine could produce twice as much torque as a naturally aspirated engine twice its size. Turbos were not a new invention, commonly used in aircraft production and these turbos were adaptations from that development. With that being said this F-85 for sale is a stunning frame up restoration. Having appeared in multiple automobile inspired periodicals, Motor Trend September 1962, Cars and parts June 2006, Muscle Car review 2008 and the same car pictured in Wikipedias historical page of the Oldsmobile Cutlass. Having been lovingly cared for by its current owner for the past ten years this Cutlass for sale is reported to one of twelve remaining in this color and options. Dressed in a stunning shade of red accented by a white top, the F-85 turbo-rocket came with only one option package. Bucket seats, console, two chrome fins on the hood and two full length separated the Jetfire from its other F-85 brothers. With a documented top speed of 110 MPH be sure and race down to Gateway Classic cars of Atlanta. Options on this turbo charged Cutlass F-85 include; Unique trim molding package, center console, bucket seats restored in new old stock coverings, and a clock that works. Description:
Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is excited to present this high-demand, 2nd GEN 1978 Pontiac Trans Am, W-72 4-speed. Pontiac fans know we have something special here: Z VIN code, Pontiacs 400 4BBL W72 version, 4-speed, with air conditioning. The W72 400s were the top engine option and were different, using the stronger early 70s 400 blocks, 6X-4 higher compression heads and other goodies. That made the 77-79 Trans Ams perform very close to, on par or BETTER than many of the muscle cars of the 60s. They were quicker than a 1970 GTO 455 HO, as well as Z28s and Corvettes in the mid to late 1970s. 1977 sealed their legacy in history when Smokey & the Bandit hit theaters. That 77-78 only front grill is simply iconic. This T/A came new with the aluminum snowflake wheels, larger rear sway bar, and WS6-specific tires, suggesting it also has the WS6 handling package, but we do not have the build sheet. We DO have the Pontiac Historic Services documentation confirming the colors, wheels, optional tires, W72 400 and more. VIN PREFIX IS 2W87Z8N (2=Pontiac W=Trans Am 87=2DR Coupe, Z=400 4BBl Pontiac V8, 8=1978, N=Norwood assembly Plant). Cowl Tag designates 2FS87 Firebird series as well as WS4 for the Trans Am model. Colors / Trim 75 75 Mayan Red with 11N A51 White Bucket interior. She was built the 4th week of September 1977 (1978 Model year See VIN & VIN tag photos). The matching VIN is present on the right front of the block and the heads are the correct 6X-4 W72 specific heads. This is a sweet driver, looking very nice outside. The WS6 package snowflake aluminum wheels look terrific, and the classic T/A splitters are in place. The factory sealed shaker scoop was drilled to allow the motor to roar even more. The hood bird is in place and a new set of correct sail panel Firebird emblems are included. The panel gaps are quite good, and the sheet metal is lightyears ahead of most we have seen. It is an attention getter, no doubt. Open the door to one of the coolest looking interiors GM ever made. It is in nice condition and is the optional Deluxe interior package. The white-red combination is a great combination and contrast to the exterior. The big 400 benefits from new, true dual exhaust and boy does she sound good! It runs and drives really well. The engine compartment looks complete, and era correct. Quick ratio power steering and power brakes make it easy to drive. Nice, honest 1978 Trans Am folks. Do not wait. These cars are getting hard to find in this condition, and combination. They have proven to be outstanding investments. This 1978 Pontiac Trans Am is for sale through our Fort Lauderdale showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HDA pictures and a HD video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com for more information please call the showroom at 954-227-4202 or email us at ftlauderdale@gatewayclassiccars.com

Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is presenting a 1980 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 for sale. This rust free car received a complete restoration some 10 years ago. It is a low mileage example of a great car that now with a performance upgrade is worthy of its past. A fresh 408 engine and a turbo 400 transmission were added some 9 years ago. This is the way this car was designed to be. The beautiful Sky Blue Paint is also approximately 9 years old and looks great. The interior is white and black and in excellent condition. Motor work was completed by Dean Nickerson Performance. The rear is a 10 bolt Chevy with 4:10 gears. These cars had a great look back in the day and with a performance upgrade they can carry the Camaro nameplate with honor. Consider this upgrade completed on this car as she is a Rocket. Styling was never a problem with the 2nd generation Camaro. With the combination of the paint and graphics this Camaro is a real head turner. Description:
For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is motoring manliness personified: the 1966 Shelby Cobra. This is a West Coast Inc. kit, formerly West Coast Cobras. This kit had one main focus: safety. Unlike most kit cars that use a ladder style frame, this kit utilizes a full road racing type frame. The benefits of this are twofold. First, this Cobra will keep you well protected from side impacts with a 4 side beam system giving strength to the side of the vehicle. Secondly, this strengthened chassis will give the vehicle much greater torsional rigidity. By reducing flex in the frame, the West Coast Cobra kit can use softer springs than most kits, improving ride quality greatly. The West Coast kit is also longer and wider than most kits. In addition to providing a larger wheelbase for better handling and large wheel and tire packages, this also allows for a more spacious cockpit. Riders over 6 feet tall still fit comfortably in this roadster. The wider size also extends the rear wheel wells giving this Cobra some very curvy hips. The spacious interior also features vintage racing style leather seats, an Alpine radio with AM/FM/USB/AUX inputs and Polk Audio speakers, and a heater. Adding to driving comfort and safety is power steering and power brakes. Bringing the power is a 514 CID V8, with 11:1 compression, 2 Holley 9776 carburetors, MSD ignition, and a 9 quart rear sump pan with a Mellings rear pickup pump. An aluminum radiator with 2 fans and a shroud keeps everything cool. A Richmond 5-Speed manual transfers power to a Ford 9 rear end with 3.70 gears. Originally built in 1991 in Wisconsin, the vehicle was partially rebuilt in 2010, including the new motor, and has accompanying receipts. This is a fantastic Cobra kit that was made to drive. To view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and videos, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information on this 1966 Shelby Cobra kit car, email us at dallas@gatewayclassiccars.com or call 817-310-9400.

Description:
Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to present a selection of gas dragsters Gassers for sale by our Indianapolis showroom. This one is a 1962 Chevrolet Nova based C/Gas dragster, and is powered by a 383 stroker driving through a manual valve body TH400 transmission to a 12 bolt positraction rear with 4.11:1 gears. The steel body is painted in red PPG paint and the interior is complete with rollcage, racing seats, and a racing harness. Here is some history for those who would like background on this exciting style of dragster. The term Gasser refers to a style of drag race car that was prolific in the late 1950s through the 1960s that ran on gasoline as fuel, as opposed to race fuel. These cars typically competed in heads up drag races that were classed by engine size and car weight. In the faster classes the cars used a straight axle front suspension that produced the intimidating stance that gassers are known for. Easily recognized by common features like the higher front end stance that was developed as a means of weight transfer to the rear wheels for traction, this style became popular later as builders attempted to achieve a traditional or nostalgic race look. These cars became fan favorites as the well-known racers began to run grudge matches for higher purses. In no time these matches were the top billing at many shows due to the crowd entertainment factor. Gassers were the top drag racing classes in the period that is now referred to as the gasser war years, which ranged from 1955 through 1968.In addition to the straight axle, most gassers also sported Halibrand wheels, no front bumper, and had a front mounted Moon tank. The gasser form was dictated by function and most builders looked to eliminate as much weight as possible. Having their exhaust pipes exit through the front fender to shorten the length of exhaust tubing is another common characteristic of gassers. Builders used 1930s through 1950s production coupes or sedans to create these highly modified racing vehicles. Late model cars were not allowed in the Gas classes until 1967, and the gas classes were totally eliminated by NHRA in 1972. They run today all over the United States and down under in Australia and New Zealand in vintage and nostalgia drags. To view this 1962 Chevrolet Nova gas dragster, please visit our site at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call 317-688-1100, or email us at indy@gatewayclassiccars.com. The most common base vehicles were Willys coupes, Austin and Anglia sedans, and the Chevy Tri-Five cars. Late model cars were not allowed in the Gas classes until 1967, and the gas classes were totally eliminated by NHRA in 1972. They run today all over the United States and down under in Australia and New Zealand in vintage and nostalgia drags. Gateway Classic Cars is happy to present this custom 2003 Jeep Wrangler into our Denver Showroom! Heres something you dont see every day, a 2003 Jeep Wrangler TJ that has been stretched and converted into a 4-door. Jeep had not produced a 4-door Wrangler until the JK generation, which came out in 2007 — so this is a pretty impressive upgrade. According to the owner, this conversion from 2-door Wrangler to a 4-door Wrangler was done in Florida. The conversion is quite nice and looks almost factory, save for the fact that the factory would likely add larger rear doors for easier entry and exit. Theres also the fact that this Wrangler has a third-row seat, which is something Jeep has still not done with the Wrangler — and that means this SUV can likely hold six or seven people. Options include: Air Conditioning, LED Lightbar, Pioneer CD/Radio, Convertible Top (Manual), Spare Tire, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Jack, Leather Interior. Dont miss your opportunity to own a piece of Jeep History in our Denver Showroom. This Jeep can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and a HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is excited to offer this head-turning 1966 Plymouth Barracuda for sale on consignment at our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. The Barracuda was an unfortunate victim of the popularity that Fords Mustang enjoyed- it was released 16 days earlier than the Pony Car but ended up being overlooked as a viable alternative. Today, both cars remain popular classics for different reasons; the Mustang enjoys a broad appeal while classic Barracudas are coveted due to their rarity. The large, sloping rear window that dominates the rear end of this Plymouth was the largest piece of glass produced in the automotive industry at the time of release. The Barracuda, based on Chryslers A-Body platform, offers a nice package as a fastback with 7 feet of cargo space and room for seating 5. This example has extra curb appeal thanks to an expensive Porsche “Guards Red paint color that is vibrant and hard to take your eyes off- this car was painted in Bright Red from the factory. The original 273 CID 2bbl V8 has been upgraded in this restored car to a 318 CID V8 that was first offered for 1967 models. Heavy duty rear shocks and leaf springs as well as Wilwood disc brakes provide sporty handling and sharp stopping while the three-speed TorqueFlight automatic transmission linked to a rear end geared 3.25 gives smooth, reliable shifting. The 9 Ford housing for the differential is also an upgrade on this vehicle. Check out the stunning factory style Black vinyl interior on this Barracuda that oozes 60s nostalgia. The stock dash is there with an added tachometer and engine monitoring gauges for driver information. Theres an aftermarket stereo installed inside the glovebox as well to preserve the mostly original look. Front bucket seats were standard equipment on the Barracuda. This is a comfortable, fun car to drive and it would be a great way to get into the classic car world for someone looking to stand out in the crowd of Mustangs and Camaros. Give yourself a story to tell at the car show! Our helpful and knowledgeable Sales staff can be reached by dialing (623) 900-4884. Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this super rare 1969 Ford Torino Talladega for sale in our St. Louis showroom. The Talladega was named after the Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama and was only manufactured in the first few weeks of 1969. The sole purpose of this production car was to make Ford even more competitive in NASCAR stock car racing and due to homologation rules had to have enough vehicles available for sale to the general public which was 500 in 1969. It is believed that a total of 754 Talladegas may have been built, although the Talladega/Spoiler Registry can only account for a maximum of 750 and only 258 were finished in Royal Maroon. This number includes all prototypes, pilot cars, and production cars built, plus a special post-production car that was built for the president of Ford Motor Company, Semon Emil Bunkie Knudsen. All of the production Talladegas came equipped with the 428 Ford Cobra Jet V8 backed by the C6 transmission that proved to be very strong and reliable and the only additional option was the AM radio at a retail cost of $61.40. This car has that Marti report showing the production date as 2/18/69 - Four days behind schedule. With such low initial production numbers and being that the car was built for racing there are few of these fine machines left and now is your chance to have one in your very own garage. When was the last time you saw one??? This 1969 Ford Torino Talladega is for sale in our St. Louis Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Gateway Classic Cars in Dallas Texas is more than pleased to offer a combination of mean styling and original quality high performance in a 2004 Dodge Ram SRT-10, Viper Pickup! It doesnt get much better than a high output truck that looks better than it did off the factory floor! While Dodge, sadly, wont sell you a new Ram pickup truck with the new Vipers engine in it, the same insane spirit that brought us a V10 pickup truck lives on. Now, its simply called a Hellcat. We cant help see a common thread of insanity drawn between it and the Hellcats of today. The Ram SRT-10 was the first Hellcat. Think about it. You have a relatively pedestrian vehicle being given not just a more powerful engine but one that was ridiculously powerful. It was great at burnouts and wasnt really meant for the corners, but it was also so cool. After all, the Ram SRT-10 was a Viper-powered pickup truck with a six-speed manual transmission. Even people who dont like pickup trucks like that. A spectacularly Silver, Ram 1500 pickup with a ground-pounding 8.3 liter, 500 horse, V-10 Viper motor! Plus, add a T56, 6-speed manual transmission and this ship is set to sail! And, if youre the type that has to have something more, how about air conditioning, Upgraded touchscreen Radio with awesome sound system, cruise control, Android Auto, power brakes, power steering, power locks, anti-lock brakes, Tilt wheel, Keyless entry, power mirrors, leather interior and a bunch of other stuff! This 2 Owner Clean Carfax Truck has 24,000 Miles and is stunningly clean. Seldom do you find a first year Ram SRT-10 in such beloved condition, babied throughout its life and hardly ever opened up on the road to show its true potential! So, the next time you drive your tow vehicle to the track and race your tow vehicle at the track, you can do that with this awesome truck! However, you better be faster than this truck when responding to this announcement. Because, while you are reading this promo on our newest listing, so are thousands of other people all over the world! Pick up your cell phone and call Gateway Classic Cars in Dallas, now! Our phone number is 817-310-9400. To view this beauty in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures @ gatewayclassiccars.com.
