Description:

For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is a super nice 1970 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible. Designed and originally built by Ferdinand Porsche, the world has had a love affair with the Beetle for nearly 70 years now. Models progressed from its origin in the 1950s to include different engines, trim, and creature comforts, but the overall design never changed. This 70’ Beetle is finished in a beautiful Silver Pearl exterior paint accented by a modest peppering of chrome on each side. The paint has been tastefully done, and it shines beautiful in the sun. The black interior is super clean including the vinyl upholstery and carpets. This interior really pops with its color contrasting piping. The brand-new looking top will certainly keep you dry when the rain pours and will easily fold back when the sun comes back out. The 4-cylinder engine runs like a top. The 4-speed manual transmission shifts beautifully. The wheels feature shinny classic VW chrome hub caps which creates a great overall look to the 70’ Beetle. Options for this 1970 Volkswagen Beetle include: CD-Radio, Convertible Top, Seat Belts and a Vinyl Interior. Another great detail about this Beetle is that it was most of his life located in Arizona. The sheet metal and undercarriage are in great condition. This Type 1 Volkswagen is ready for a new owner to drive on a nice day or the daily commute. Available for sale now at Gateway Classic Cars - Houston is a 1965 Ford F100 Pickup truck. Ford introduced a dramatically new style of pickup in 1961 with the fourth-generation F-Series. Longer and lower than its predecessors, these trucks had increased dimensions and new engine and gearbox choices. In 1965, the F-Series was given a significant mid-cycle redesign. A completely new platform, including the Twin-I-Beam front suspension. This truck has an extremely clean body with a frame off restoration that brought the paint back to life. Floor pans and the cab mounts were also recently replaced. The truck has a 352 CID V8 matched to a 3-speed steering column shifter, also known as a 3 on the tree shifter which adds to the uniqueness of this vehicle. The interior has also been redone with a very modern and clean look. Brand new painted dash & painted metal door panels with the suede seats & headliner all add up to a very top notch look. The truck is an excellent example of a labor of love restoration that will truly satisfy the new owner. Additional build documentation is available to the new owner during the purchasing process. Description:

We offer this 1996 Chevrolet Corvette for sale in our Atlanta Showroom. This is a clean car fax one owner corvette ready for a new owner to cruise the streets. The C4 Corvette was known for its evolved, sleek and modern look. In a departure from the fiberglass panels of its forbearers, the C4s rear bumpers and panels were made from molding plastics, a sheet molding compound. The C4 fastback coupe was the first general production Corvette to have a glass hatchback (the limited edition 1982 Collector Edition being the first Corvette equipped with this feature) for better storage access. The Corvette C4 came standard with an electronic dashboard with a digital liquid crystal display dash, with graphics for speed and RPM and digital displays for other important engine functions. The C4 represented a clean break from the previous generation of Corvette with a completely new chassis and modern, sleeker styling. Since emissions regulations were still changing and electronic engine management was in its infancy, horsepower was, compared to earlier generations, low. Therefore, the primary design emphasis, at least for the launch, was on handling and braking, with all-independent suspension with light-weight suspension and wheels, and all new brakes with aluminum calipers. The front suspension saw the C3s coil springs replaced by a transverse fiberglass mono-leaf spring, which was only 1/3 of the weight of the coil springs while also introducing an anti-roll bar-like effect on the front.[4] The price of this no-holds-barred emphasis on handling was ride comfort, especially with the Z51 performance and handling package. The C4 did not use separate body-on-frame construction like its predecessors. Instead, it used what GM termed a uniframe, which consisted of a traditional perimeter frame, with the door posts, windshield frame, halo, and the rear portion of the floor pan integrated into one welded assembly. This was not a unibody assembly, as none of the exterior body panels were structural members. Due to a styling decision to use a targa top instead of T-tops, there was no structural member tying the windshield frame to the halo as on the C3. This required extremely tall side rails on the frame to maintain chassis rigidity, and as a result, the door sills were quite deep, with entry and exit likened by contemporary auto journals to a fall in and climb out experience. The targa top bolted into place, becoming a structural component, rather than simply latching on like T-tops. Options include: AC, AM/FM radio, CD Player, Convertible top, cruise control, power brakes, power window, power steering, power locks, tilt wheel, seat belts, driver airbag, passenger airbag, leather interior, radial performance tires, alloy wheels. To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For more information please call the Atlanta showroom at 678-894-4833 or e-mail us at Atlanta@GatewayClassicCars.com! See more at: http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/ATL/394/1996-Chevrolet-Corvette

Description:

For sale in our Atlanta showroom is a 1977 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. Toyota started production of the Land Cruiser FJ40 in 1960 and began importing them to the US in 1963. The last US bound FJ rolled off the line in 1983, making a brief comeback as a modern SUV in the US called the FJ Cruiser from 2006 to 2014. From 1963 to 1983 the FJ40 saw little change aesthetically, the only real changes were improvements in technology mechanically. The Classic FJs are as comfortable on a trail as they are on the highway because they were designed to do anything you could ever ask it to do and do it well. The FJ40 is a rugged, two-door, 4x4 vehicle with amazing off-road capabilities, and rather primitive interior treatments. This unit sports a soft top so open-air cruising is a possibility. FJs came without carpet and with vinyl upholstery, so even if youre out in the mud and in the elements, theyre easy to keep clean. This is a truck you can literally just hose out. The front sports a separated bench style seat, and the rear has jump seats which can be folded aside for more cargo space. Under the hood of this Land Cruiser youll find the rebuilt original 2F 4.2L inline 6-cylinder engine with owner stated 31,000-miles since, backed up by a 4-speed manual transmission, 4:10 gear ratio, and a 4x4 transfer case. Stout axle’s front and rear and retro off-road tires will take this thing just about anywhere you want to go. This FJ is a 3-owner vehicle, owned by the current for the last 23 years, and states he’s replaced the alternator, coil, distributor, as well as adding a header, weber carburetor, and lift kit. He has included the owner’s manual, wiring diagram, as well as a full set of tech manuals. It runs and drives great and is just begging for mud, rocks, and trails! This FJ would make a great weekend warrior or a daily driver, and will put most new 4x4s to shame off the pavement. Vintage 4x4s are in high demand, and most have rusted away to nothing. Luckily this Toyota has been well preserved and is ready for many more years of duty. To view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and videos, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information on this 1977 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser, email us at atlanta@gatewayclassiccars.com or call 678-894-4833. The Continental Mark III is a personal luxury car, that was marketed by the Lincoln division of Ford Motor Company, from the 1969 through 1971 model years. The Mark III was marketed as the flagship vehicle of Ford Motor Company, serving as a successor to the 1956–1957 Continental Mark II. In what would become a three-decade rivalry, the Mark III was developed as a direct competitor to the Cadillac Eldorado, after its shift to the personal luxury coupe segment in 1967. All examples of the Mark III were produced as two-door hardtop coupes. The 1970 model was the first American-made vehicle, with the superior radial tire design, as standard equipment. To distinguish itself from the Thunderbird (and from the Lincoln Continental), the Mark III was given model-specific design elements, including hidden headlamps (with body-color covers), a radiator-style grille, and a simulated spare tire on the trunk-lid. This elegant 1970 Lincoln Continental Mark III presented by our Ft Lauderdale Showroom, is in a classy Brown color exterior paint paired to a Cream color interior. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Houston is pleased to present this 1980 Mercedes Benz 450 SL. The 1980 Mercedes Benz 450SL is a great example of the R107 Roadster series by Mercedes Benz, epitomizing the grace and luxury of early 80s German engineering. Produced from 1973 until 1980, the 450SL features the 4.5-litre V-8 engine offering a top speed of 135 mph and presents a harmonious courtship of understated prestige with sporty flamboyance. In fact, the R107 roadster body style represents the second longest single series ever produced by the automaker, after the G-Class. This car represents one of few 450SLs delivered directly to the US for sale during the models final year. Sporting the muscular 4.5 Liter V8 engine with Bosch fuel injection and an automatic transmission, this removable black hard top/ black soft top convertible makes driving an absolute blast! This is thought to be a 2-owner vehicle (although not documented) per the current owner, and she has lovingly cared for it for the last 15 years. The Becker Mexico Am/Fm, Cassette, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows & Door Locks, Cruise Control and a fresh set of rubber on newer later model M.B. wheels round out this beauty! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to offer an amazing 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle. This is not your Grandmas Beetle. This little blue rocket has been completely built from the ground up. The 73 V-Dub was completely disassembled, stripped to the bare floor pan. The body was reassembled and aligned and coated in a stunning coat of metallic blue. This Bug features its original 1,600cc Dual Port Flat Four. The engine has been completely rebuilt and features tons of new goodies. It breathes in through a new Bocar one barrel carburetor, and is equipped with a Bosch coil as well as Bosch wires. The engine is dressed in chrome for a show car finish when you pop the bonnet. The exhaust is just rowdy enough and resonates the distinct VW flat four sound. Perhaps the most impressive part of the whole car is the underside. The pans are painted, and the undercarriage is a clear indicator of the time spent rebuilding this Beetle. To dress up the outside, the car now rides on 15 EMPI chrome wheels. The front end even features disc brakes to further modernize the car. The interior is rather jazzy as it lights up with blue LED lighting as soon as the door is opened. The front seats are sporty racing buckets, and the car has functional seat belts for all passengers. The list of work on this Beetle goes on and on. It has been built to be a reliable, fun to drive show car. This is a great way to enter the classic car hobby, or to expand your existing VW collection. You can see this 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle in greater detail in our Chicago showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 708-444-4488 or chicago@gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is poised in presenting this blue 1977 Chevrolet Impala at the Milwaukee Showroom. Being primarily a spacious and heavy boat of a car packing a tired old 350 cubic inch V8 under the hood, these era Impalas were typically looked at as being slow and comfortable. This Chevy features a 383 cubic inch stroker small block crate engine made by GM putting out a healthy 450 horsepower, so right up front, this car defies the logic of its own appearance. Behind this beast of an engine, there is a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission going out to a Strange Engineering 9 inch Ford rear axle with a limited slip differential sporting 3:55 gear ratio via a new Quarter Master driveshaft. This beast of a motor also exhales through a set of long tube headers that go out to a set of Magnaflow XL 3 chamber mufflers that keep this car extremely quiet, up until the point that you hit the button to open the Quick Time exhaust cutouts to let every horsepower in this engine scream a fierce tune. Just because this car is setup to be a powerful muscle car in disguise, doesnt mean that it wouldnt carry some features to make riding in this thing easy. These features include air conditioning, AM radio, power brakes, and power steering. So whether youre looking for a calm cruise or your looking to turn heads as soon as you let them horses ring, this car is calling to you and is available today! This 1977 Chevrolet Impala is available at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in person, it can be seen at our Milwaukee Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this 1988 Mercedes 560SEL. This big survivor, 1988 Mercedes 560 SEL is a credit to Mercedes and its engineering prowess in the 80s. The S-class has always been the pinnacle of Mercedes luxury and technology. This car reinforces that reputation with its solid construction, tight body gaps, and with most of the features still in working order. The power seats still work, the power winds and mirrors are operational, as well as the sunroof, gauges, and heater. The AC attempts to blow cold but has developed a leak and requires occasional recharging. The all-original drivetrain still pulls the big Benz around with authority; with the only sign of old age being an occasional stumble from the engine and evidence of tired shocks. The W126 SELs are quickly becoming desirable collectibles. Their rock-solid, basic engineering also lends to easy restoration assuming you know your way around a wrench. Come park this throwback of no-nonsense Mercedes luxury in your garage today! This 1988 Mercedes 560SEL listed by our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
