Description:
For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro. This is without question one absolutely gorgeous 69 Camaro! There isnt much that wasnt customized, and it shows. It’s easy to throw a ton of aftermarket parts on a car. This took some serious time and attention to detail. Let’s start with the obvious first. Painted in a beautiful shade of red with white stripes or a gorgeous white leather interior and riding on a set of custom Billet Specialties aluminum wheels. This isnt just a nice paint job though. The front bumper is a narrowed and reshaped 1969 Camaro bumper mounted with custom brackets. The lower valance has a lower grill opening with a stainless steel grill, the upper grill opening has been smoothed and features driving lights/ turn signals from a ’69 Camaro. The lower air dam and fender extensions are a one off from molded fiberglass. The upper grill opening is smoothed and recessed to accommodate quad headlights from a 1970 Oldsmobile and a hand fabricated stainless grill with a relocated hood release. The hood features a steel cowl induction that was welded from underneath and smoothed all around. The front fenders have lower extensions molded ahead and behind the wheel opening and smoothed. All the inner front panels and support systems were smoothed, relocated and painted to match the body. The doors were also smoothed and utilize 2003 GM latch and handle systems for a clean appearance. The side rocker panels were extended the full length to give an even and finished look to the bottom edges. The rear quarters, you guessed it, smoothed with the rear side lights removed and the ends of the rear spoiler molded in place. The rear decklid is similar and features an original spoiler that was reshaped and molded in place. The rear body panel has reversed tail lamps fabricated from a ’69 Camaro and a welded in pop up gas cap. The rear bumper is also a 1969 unit that has been trimmed to fit. All the painted surfaces are PPG base coat clear coat Super Red with Silver Pearl. Once you raise the hood, you’ll see another cowl induction unit that is functional and removable. Lurking beneath this work of art is a very well built 468 Big Block that balanced and blue printed utilizing a solid roller camshaft and 10.5:1 compression. Other notable engine details include aluminum small chamber rectangular port cylinder heads with 2.19 intake and 1.88 exhaust valves, .620 lift camshaft, single plane intake manifold topped by a 830 CFM carburetor and aluminum accessories and pullies. Big blocks have a reputation for running hot, that can be easily addressed and was with this build thanks to a HD aluminum radiator and dual electric fans set up to cool 650 horsepower. The music this engine makes is the result of ceramic coated headers flowing through a set of custom stainless steel pipes and mufflers. Transferring this beautiful power plant to the ground is a 2005 Dodge Viper 6-speed, heavy duty clutch converted to hydraulic actuation and finally to a 12 bolt rear end housing a set of 4.10 posi traction gears. Slowing things down is a breeze thanks to four wheel disc brakes. Even though this car is presumed to strictly be a show car, it will do what you ask of it. The suspension and chassis were not missed. The front suspension has been heavily modified and includes shaved side rails and cross member, new tubular control arms, coil over shocks, a quick ratio steering box, heavy duty sway bar and dropped spindles for the aggressive ride height. All parts are painted in a gloss red and silver urethane finish. The underside has all new floors, unibody subframe connectors and additional braces for a more rigid chassis. The rear suspension and undercarriage are also heavily modified. Wheel tubs moved inboard two inches, shocks relocated, springs lowered and moved inboard, traction bars installed, new bearings and seals. Other modifications include a new fuel tank, fuel lines, fuel pump, relocated battery(trunk), stainless steal lines and fasteners throughout. Altered oil pan, steering linkage, transmission mount and tunnel. The last area to cover and one of our favorites, the interior. The all white interior is very easy on the eyes and just feels fresh. The guys over at Recovery Room Hot Rod interiors did an amazing job. Hats off to these guys! Custom is the theme here as is the rest of the build. Custom white leather on most surfaces, new easy to read instruments for the custom dash, a tilt steering column, Sony CD player, custom rear deck with speakers, hand brake replacing the old foot actuated parking brake, custom center console that houses power windows switches, electronic fuel pump switch and the battery cut off. Description:
Now up for grabs at the Houston showroom is this sweet 1985 Land Rover Defender 110. Known as one of the most awesome off-road machines ever produced available at the Houston Showroom, The Land Rover Defender. Land Rover was conceived by the Rover Company in 1947 during the aftermath of World War II. Before the war, Rover had produced luxury cars which were not in demand in the immediate post-war period and raw materials were strictly rationed to those companies building construction or industrial equipment, or products that could be widely exported to earn crucial foreign exchange for the country. Because of the tight financial position in this period of British Leyland (which owned Land Rover), Santanas were often better placed than Land Rover was to deal with these failings. This meant that Santana began to engineer its own solutions to common problems into the models it produced and thus arose a degree of originality in Santanas models compared to Land Rovers original products - a trend that led to the companys position today. Land Rover is known the world over for its capabilities off road. Whether it is the Sahara, the Amazon, the Mojave, or the Alaskan Outback or Defender. This British beast was built to compete with the all popular Willys-Jeep. When restoring this beauty, the owner decided to get rid of its original red paint job and go to a triple black set up. This includes a new Matte black wrap, new black carpet, and official Lucari black leather seats. Sporting a coil spring suspension all around, giving you the flexibility and power to climb those mountains tops. Coming in four different options, this particular 110 comes with an always engaged in 4x4. Under the hood of this restoration, you will notice a 6.2L V8 engine, which was taken out of a 2008 Cadillac Escalade, that is backed with a 4-speed automatic transmission giving you all the power and speed of a modem SUV but with that classic look. So come check out this 1985 Land Rover Defender 110 retromod for your self before its too late.

Description:
Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is thrilled to present the flagship of one of Nissans greatest accomplishments in motorsports, the R35 GT-R. Top tuners all over the U.S. were salivating at the chance to get their hands on one to see what they could improve upon. Switzer Performance was quickly recognized as one of the top tuners for the GT-R platform. The car was brought to them to have the $100,000 Ultimate Street Car Package performed on it. Achieving high horsepower, reliably, on pump gas while still retaining all the creature comforts that came with the factory trim quickly became an attainable goal. No corners were cut on this build and the list of performance parts installed are extensive and available upon request. In short, the Ultimate Street Car package covers every aspect of what it takes to achieve 1000hp on the dyno. From the turbos, downpipes, intercoolers, engine internals, fuel delivery and exhaust. The owner sourced a transmission out of a 2014 GT-R and built it to handle the added power and put it to the ground. The body is another piece of history on this epic build. Japanese tuner company Bensopra hand crafted this amazing widebody kit to accentuate the lines of the GT-R while providing superior track tested aerodynamics. The one-piece front end provides easy access to the engine bay, while a huge front splitter helps to keep the car firmly planted on the road. Out back the widebody madness continues and finishes off with a massive rear diffuser and a carbon fiber wing mounted to the chassis. Custom 3 piece 21 ADV1 wheels over Brembo brakes and coilover suspension compliment the Bensopra kit and round out a gorgeous exterior presence. Hop in the cockpit and let the power leather and suede, heated seats with lumbar support, wrap around you like a warm hug from Grandma. Power windows and door locks and keyless entry are also standard on this vehicle. Once inside all the madness that your eyes took in on the exterior start to fade away as this interior was left pretty much untouched and is in great condition. All the luxuries that typically get removed on other race cars are very much in place on this GT-R. Cruise in comfort on a hot day with the A/C blasting and a clear path to your destination via the touchscreen navigation. This 2010 Nissan GT-R is an epic all around vehicle and all the modifications have really taken it to the next level. Give us a call at (623) 900-4884 to be one step closer to adding this car to your collection! Alternatively, more information can be provided by emailing us directly at scottsdale@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to present this show-stopping 1956 Chevrolet 210 Post for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. Tri-Five Chevys may be a dime a dozen in the classic car scene, but even the most hardened classic car nuts will stop and give this special car a second look. Starting with a rust-free California owned body that had all original panels, powder coated frame and a Paul Newman chassis, this 56 was literally built from the ground up to become the incredible vehicle it is today. It would be an understatement to say that the Candy Apple Red PPG base/clear coat with added Bel Air side trim gives this 210 Post an upgraded appearance because it is truly remarkable to look at in any light. Billet Specialty 17 wheels in the front and 18s in the rear set this car off so well and you know youre looking at a high end restoration when you see those “Wilwood brake calipers and 13 drilled/slotted rotors behind them. Pop the polished and flash chromed hood latch and meet your new best friend: a 6.2l LS3 crate motor fresh out of the box that pushes 430 horsepower. The original designers of this 56 would never have dreamed that a sports car motor would end up in their 210 Post but when theres a will, theres a way! The engine pairs up wonderfully with the new 4L70-E 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive that turns the rear wheels through an aluminum driveshaft and a Dana 44 differential geared healthily to 3.42. This is a car set up for cruising as well as packing a punch off the line! Pop the doors open with your remote control and listen to yourself gasp at the quality and ergonomics inside this first-class restoration. An amazing interior by Gabes Custom Upholstery in San Bernardino, CA features Tan leather bucket seats for the driver/passenger and a custom rear seat arrangement with a tailored center console that runs all the way from front to back. These chairs are some of the most comfortable yet supportive I have ever felt sitting in a resto-mod. Dakota Digital gauges, stereo system with GPS navigation, Vintage air conditioning and all new glass are just some of the other options to appreciate on this 1956 Chevy. If youre looking to buy instead of build a Tri-Five Chevrolet, look no further. This example is just waiting for you to enjoy and youll have nothing to do other than turn the key. Rebuilt at Precision Engines LLC, this fully balanced mill utilizes a forged SCAT crank, forged SCAT rods, SRP pistons and a Bullet Trans Am-spec cam to twist stout 11 to 1 compression into 344 dyno-proven horsepower! At the top of the 302 small block, Holley carburetors mix fuel from fresh stainless fluid lines with oxygen that’s piped through a chrome, cowl-fed air cleaner. Behind those carburetors, modern electronic ignition sequences spark through fresh Packard TV R Suppression Cables. And at the sides of that ignition, authentic ‘double hump’ heads hang bright chrome valve covers over roller tip rocker arms and professionally restored exhaust manifolds. When fired, the infamous V8 snarls and barks like a real competition piece. Its ancillary components are top-notch in every way, with fresh GM hoses and a correct Delco Moraine brake booster accompanying a reproduction Delco battery. And an even combination of Chevy Orange engine skin and Satin Black fender framing is accented by clean and appropriate decals. the best set up the Camaro offered was a tough Muncie transmission and track-worthy 4.56 rear end. This coupe’s correct 4-speed, which is equipped with a fresh clutch and flywheel, twists a shortened A-Body pumpkin that’s packed with new Moser axles, a proven Eaton posi and 4.56 Richmond gears. That first-rate drivetrain is held off the ground by a completely rebuilt, high performance suspension, which includes 4-piston, Corvette-style brakes, tuned front coils, multi-leaf rears and reproduction shocks. That suspension is dissected by an aluminized, true-dual exhaust system, which is fitted with a correct, transversely mounted muffler. That exhaust system is framed by clean floors which perfectly highlight a new stainless fuel tank, fresh stainless fluid lines and a variety of chip-free chassis components. Those floors roll on 15-inch Rally wheels, which spin E70-15 Goodyear Wide Tread GTs around correct stainless center caps and dent-free trim rings. Inside, the Standard Red interior illustrates the true, no frills intentions of Chevrolet’s hallowed Z/28. Its bucket seats were restored with new backs, new foam and reproduction covers that look and feel fantastic. In front of those seats a stainless-trimmed dash, which exhibits no signs of warping or peeling, hangs rebuilt telemetry above a clean radio delete. At the base of that dash, great looking carpet centers a chrome Hurst shifter between four color-keyed floor mats. That seat, dash and flooring trifecta is framed by a tight headliner and standard, stainless-trimmed door panels. In front of the driver, Chevrolet’s classy Rosewood steering wheel spins satin spokes around a red, white and blue centerpiece. And behind the passengers, the car’s solid trunk has been correctly restored with new paint, a new mat, fresh decals and a full-size spare tire. Options for this 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 R/S include; Radio Delete, Black Vinyl Top, Vinyl Interior, Tinted Glass, Special Suspension, Power Disc Brakes, Simulated Wood Steering Wheel and Rally Sport Wheels wrapped in Goodyear Bias Ply Tires. This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 with the Rally Sport package can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call at 812-294-1555 or email Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com for more information.

Description:
This is your chance to own the first year of the three-year limited release Cosmos Purple Metallic GTO. With only 3 owners and 77,741 original miles, this LS1 powered GTO is sure to turn heads anywhere you go. The GTO was assembled by GMs Holden subsidiary at Elizabeth. It was equipped with the 5.7 liter LS1 V8 engine for the 2004 model year, the same engine found in the concurrent model year Chevrolet Corvette, with a choice of a 6-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic. Changes from the Australian-built Monaro included bracing additions to the body to meet U.S. crash standards, a corporate Pontiac front facia, new badging, GTO stitching on the front seats, and a revised exhaust system. GM Engineers benchmarked the sound of the 1964 GTO held in the Pontiac historical collection, as well as other LS1-powered vehicles, while working with the exhaust vendor to tune the system. The effort was made to make the new GTO invoke the same sound as the original while still meeting the noise threshold required by some states. The 2004 GTO exhaust was a true dual system that followed the original Monaro exhaust routing, thus both tailpipes exited on the driver side of the vehicle. General Motors claimed performance of 5.3 seconds to 60 and a 13.8 second quarter mile time, which was closely verified by several magazine tests. Now available in our Philadelphia location is a 1973 MG MGB Roadster. There are only a handful of cars that can deliver this driving experience. Thirty years after the last Bs rolled out of MG’s factory in Abingdon, there’s room for a fresh perspective. Instead of knocking MG for falling behind the times, we might recognize the company for keeping the British sports car alive. These efforts were not in vain, as the later Bs sold respectably in the United States. There may have been faster and more modern cars on the market, but the rubber-bumper MGB offered the traditional thrills of a British roadster to a whole new generation. This one is in classic White with a black vinyl interior and convertible top. It has a four-speed transmission that delivers that true driving experience. In the mid 70’s these cars were a popular choice with young America. They were known for their economical gas mileage and maintenance schedule and were a common sight on the road. This little roadster has allot left in the tank and will give its new owners plenty of enjoyment. Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is excited to offer this fun-loving 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle for sale right now in our Arizona showroom. The Super Beetle was marketed in the United States as the top of the line for the Beetle range and this example for sale certainly lives up to that reputation. This Bug has been recently stripped and repainted at an expense of over $3,000 and shines brightly in its ‘Saturn Yellow’. The jet-black trimming, red racing stripes and powder-coated mag wheels with oversized radial tires make for a stylish touch. Originally, the Super Beetle came with a peppy 1600cc motor but ours has been upgraded even further to a spirited 1915cc tied to a 4-speed short-shift, synchro manual transmission. The engine rebuild was performed just 1000 miles ago and all receipts are included with the car, so the fun with this Bug is just getting started! Inside, you won’t believe you’re in a Volkswagen while you’re sitting in the vinyl Recaro seats and fully carpeted floor. This is the kind of car you can enjoy every day as well as impress people at car shows due to its build quality. This is a very competitive asking price for a car of this quality and it will not last long. Description:
Now available in our Philadelphia showroom is this 1966 Chevrolet Corvair-Monza. The 1966 lineup remained essentially unchanged from 1965. The steering column was changed to a two-piece design with universal joint, lessening the danger of intrusion during a front-end collision (a mid-1965 running change). A plastic air dam was installed below the front valence panel to conceal the front suspension and underbody and lessen crosswind sensitivity. In front, the lock door emblem (covering the lockset for the trunk lock) was changed from red to blue and featured a shorter bar. Air-conditioned cars received a new condenser that was mounted in front of the engine, eliminating previous efficient but huge, awkward condenser that was mounted atop the engine, requiring its removal out of the way for most under the hood servicing. This 1966 Corvair- Convertible was sent to the President of the Delaware-Corvair Club, who took the time to go over the entire vehicle, spending over 85 plus labor hours on this vehicle. The following work was completed during this time: Converted to Dual master cylinder, New front brake lines, New brake cylinder and hoses (both front and back), Pitman arms- bushings- & idler arm, Carburetor rebuilt, Replaced Alternator, New engine wiring harness, New tailpipes, New fan belt, New turn signal lever, New rear motor mount, New carpet in the trunk, New Antenna, New windshield wipers, New convertible “top boot” foam pads, New oil-pan and gaskets, New throttle valve/O-ring, New rear brake cable, New axle seals, New battery, New door seals plates, This Corvair has also been converted to an electric fuel-pump & Crane electric ignition. – As you can tell, a lot of love has been invested into this vehicle. The heart of this vehicle is a 6-cyclinder, which produces a 110 HP to the wheels and is connected to a 2-speed transmission. The powertrain has been converted to a 1965 powertrain. The solid white vinyl interior is in pretty good shape throughout, with only minor blemishes on the back-driver’s side. The convertible top is in good condition too, so you’ll look very sharp, top up or down. All this sits on a sweet set of wired wheels & white wall tires, with a Chevy emblem on the “knock-off” portion. This Corvair is going to be cruising around some town and enjoyed by a new owner very soon…. Will this be you? To view this 1966 Chevrolet Corvair Monza in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Description:
Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a very clean and tastefully upgraded 1997 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. This Z28 has a lot going for it. The car wears a classic Camaro color scheme: white with orange stripes. This was the factory scheme which has been maintained beautifully over the years. It currently wears chrome wheels wrapped in nice radial tires. The interior carries the white scheme with White leather seating with super cool hounds tooth seat inserts. This hounds tooth upholstery reminds one of the early 1960s Camaros that also offered this option. Sticking with the quintessential Camaro theme, this one has a manual transmission. Not the 4 speed the early cars wouldve come with, this 97 has a hearty 6 speed manual which has been nicely upgraded with a Hurst short throw shifter. The power plant is a 5.7 Liter LT1 which has also be slightly upgraded. The improve flow, a cold air intake, a high flow throttle body, SLP headers, and a Hooker mufflers have been added. This also beefs up the sound so you can really hear that LT1. This is a very well maintained Camaro with no accident history and a clean vehicle history report. This could be a car for car shows, to drive daily, or heck, the drag strip if you wanted to.
