In 1991, Pontiac partnered with Street Legal Performance (SLP) to develop a special variant of the Firebird Formula, dubbed the SLP Firehawk. Firehawks were produced from 1991 through 2002, and SLP was responsible for putting the final touches on each one of them. This original Firehawk is car number 0335 and is in great condition for being a quarter century old. The paint is in very good shape, and aside from very minor wear on the outside bolster of the drivers seat, one would be hard pressed to gauge the cosmetic age of the car because it has been so well cared for. The port fuel injected 350 CID LT1 V8 is backed by a 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission, which has a performance selector switch on the console (to allow for snappier shifts during spirited driving).
