Description:
Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1955 Ford Thunderbird Convertible! The Thunderbird was released in 1955 as Ford’s “personal car”. It was not a direct competitor to the Corvette but with their similarity’s it was very hard not to compare the 2. The Thunderbirds first model year was 1955 and outsold the Corvette by a substantial margin, like 23:1. Ford considered it a personal luxury car more than a sports car. The T-bird would see so many changes over the years, but the first generation holds a special place with collectors everywhere! Here we have a ’55 model, the first year of the 1st generation. The yellow paint looks good, you can tell its produced what I call enjoyment equity, time on the road. The chrome still looks bright, minimal pitting. The black soft top has visible signs of wear, will need repaired/replaced. The black and yellow vinyl interior looks to be in good order. Under the hood is believed the original motor, per the vin should be a 292 V8. Power is controlled through a 3-speed manual transmission on the floor. Odometer shows 17k miles and title says actual, but we have no further proof, so mileage is believed original. Current owner has had her for over a year, acquired from a private owner. The title is clean and clear and ready to be transferred into your name now! You don’t see many in this color folks so don’t miss your chance! Options on this Thunderbird are: Manual Convertible Top, Vinyl Interior, Telescopic Wheel, Am/FM/Cassette Radio, Seat Belts, Hub Caps, and White Wall Tires. This 1955 Ford Thunderbird Convertible is offered by our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to present this great example of a 1964 Chevrolet Bel Air Wagon Resto Mod. Description:
We are proud to present this 1958 Cadillac Coupe De Ville. For 1957, a tubular X-frame without side rails was adopted, which Cadillac claimed resulted in lower body without a loss of usable space and increased torsional strength. These frames gained controversy as being unsafe, and other manufactures, such as Ford, touted that their perimeter frames were safer. Front end styling was marked by rubber bumper guard tips and dual circular lamps set into the lower bumper section. Side trim was revised, and a dual taillight theme was used. Identifying the standard 62 models were bright metal moldings, just forward of the rear wheel openings, highlighted by seven horizontal wind slits. At the upper end this fender brake trim joined a horizontal molding that ran along a conical flare extending towards both taillamps. De Villes had special nameplates on the front fenders. For 1958, there was a new grille featuring multiple round cleats at the intersection of the horizontal and vertical members. The grille insert was wider and new bumper guards were positioned lower to the parking lamps. New dual headlamps were used, and small chrome fins decorated the front fenders. Tailfins were less pronounced and trim attachments were revised. The word Cadillac appeared in block letters on the fins of base models. Powering this 1958 Cadillac Coupe De Ville is a 365 Cubic Inch OHV V8 backed by a 4-speed Hydra-Matic Automatic Transmission.Options on this 1958 Cadillac Coup De Ville include: AM Radio Only, Spare Tire, Hub Caps, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Leather Interior, and Wide White Wall Tires.

Description:
Gateway Classic Cars of Las Vegas is proud to present this 1957 Thunderbird. The Thunderbird entered production for the 1955 model year as a sporty two-seat convertible. Unlike the Chevrolet Corvette, it was not marketed as a sports car. Ford positioned the Thunderbird as an upscale model and is credited in developing a new market segment - the personal luxury car. Though sharing some design characteristics with other Fords of the time; such as circular headlamps and tail lamps and modest tail-fins. The Thunderbird was sleeker and had features like a hood scoop and a 150 mph (240 km/h) speedometer hinting at a higher performance nature that other Fords didnt possess. The Thunderbirds 102.0 inches wheelbase frame was mostly a shortened version of that used in other Fords. This car has been repainted a number of years ago but still looks great. It has a power seat, Town & Country seeking radio, and muffler just replaced. Description:
Gateway Classic Cars of Milwaukee proudly presents is 1969 Chevrolet El Camino. Few cars in history are as easily identifiable and loved like the El Camino. Over the 25 model years and 5 generations, Chevys half truck, half car has proven to be a classic from its early days when it debuted in 1959. The El Camino was created as direct competition to Fords Ranchero that hit the streets in 1957. When the Elky first came into the market it was built on the Chevrolet X-frame, it shared the same engine options and styling as the other big Chevy cars at the time like the Impala and Biscayne. Chevy pulled the line for 3 years but in 1964 the El Camino came back completely retooled on the new mid-size Chevelle platform. For the remainder of the El Caminos life it carried on as a midsized vehicle with car styling comparable to the Chevelle/Malibu but with that unmistakable pick-up truck bed! In 1968 the El Camino started its third generation giving the truck a more aggressive and muscular look, capitulating truck into the muscle car era. Super Sport versions were even made with jaw dropping looks and 396 and 454 motors were available in this era making for so very powerful little trucks! While all El Caminos seem to have a cult following, none seem to be more loved and sought after then the third generation El Caminos of 1968-1972. Our featured El Camino shows in a stunning silver paint wonderfully contrasted by red vinyl interior, red carpeting, and a matching red bed cover. The car is powered by a Chevrolet 350 ci engine hooked up to a 3-speed automatic transmission. The stance on this car looks wonderful sitting on the 5-spoke American Racing mag wheels. The car is appointed with many creature comforts like an Alpine stereo, 4-wheel power disc brakes, power steering with tilt, seat belts, a battery shut off knob and removable rubber bed liner. The truck spend much of its life in the dry New Mexico climate before being restored this truck is a solid classic anyone would be proud to cruise around in and show off a little! Take the wheel and hit the streets in this 1969 El Camino!

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1966 Chevrolet C10. The 60-66 C/K series of pickups were revolutionary for Chevrolet as they were the first line of pickups not based on the A platform but a new one all it’s own. New innovations like front control arm independent suspension and a drop-center frame ensured popularity in the market. This 1966 long bed C10 looks quite handsome in it’s two tone black and silver paint job. As you walk around this truck you notice nice details like the 15 inch rally wheels and complete trim pieces around the body. Check out the interior and you’ll feel taken back in time with its bench seat upholstered in black and silver vinyl to match the exterior. The dash is painted in black to match the body and the steering wheel has a great feel to it. A nice added touch is the wood floor to the bed. If you’re looking for a classic pickup to attract a crowd this is the one you want to own! Options include vinyl interior, seat belts and rally wheels wrapped in white letter tires.

Description:
Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this 1968 Pontiac Firebird Convertible. The Pontiac Firebird is an American automobile that was built and produced by Pontiac from the 1967 to 2002 model years. Designed as a pony car to compete with the Ford Mustang, it was introduced on February 23, 1967, five months after GMs Chevrolet divisions platform-sharing Camaro. The first-generation Firebird had characteristic Coke bottle styling shared with its cousin, the Chevrolet Camaro. Announcing a Pontiac styling trend, the Firebirds bumpers were integrated into the design of the front end, giving it a more streamlined look than the Camaro. The Firebirds rear slit taillights were inspired by the 1966-1967 Pontiac GTO. Both a two-door hardtop and a convertible were offered through the 1969 model year. Originally, the car was a consolation prize for Pontiac, which had desired to produce a two-seat sports car based on its original Banshee concept car. However, GM feared this would cut into Chevrolet Corvette sales, and gave Pontiac a piece of the pony car market through sharing the F-body platform with Chevrolet. Powering this beast is a 350 Cubic Inch V8 backed by an Automatic Transmission. Modifications for 1968 included the addition of federally mandated side marker lights: for the front of the car, the turn signals were made larger and extended to wrap around the front edges of the car, and on the rear, the Pontiac (V-shaped) Arrowhead logo was added to each side. The front door vent-windows were replaced with a single pane of glass.Options on this 1968 Pontiac Firebird Convertible include: Pioneer AM/FM Radio, Power Convertible Top, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Cragar Wheels with Radial Tires.

Recently completed: New Shocks, Power Steering added, double fans for better cooling, new tires, engine rebuilt before Autumn 2020. Our Louisville Showroom is proud to offer this 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL Convertible. The Galaxie name was used on Fords full-size cars from 59 to 61 to try and cash in on the excitement of the space race. Starting in 1962 they added the 500 and 500 XL to the name plate in order to denote its top of the line cars. Competing head to head with Chevrolets Impala SSs, the full-size convertible market was very tough but the Fords held their own all the way to 1974 when the line was finally discontinued. This beauty is a great example of what the 60s were all about. The body of the car is extremely nice and is believed to be retaining its original panels. The Skylight Blue paint looks like glass and is probably nicer than when she left the factory. The black vinyl top looks great but lets face it this car is all about top down fun. Especially when they see whats under the hood. This numbers matching Z code 390 is one of the most sought-after engines for 1964. Backed by a Hurst 4 speed transmission this Galaxie screams 1960s. The inside of this big block drop top is one of the nicest I have seen. The dark blue is a great contrast against the light blue exterior. The bucket seats are separated by a center console with the 4-speed shifter right where it should be. All in all, this 64 is a great example of a 500XL that can be driven as much as you care to drive it. This 390 500XL only has 1000 miles since the restoration and is ready for the next owner to turn the key and smash the gas. Options on this 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL Convertible include, AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Powered Convertible Top, Wire Wheel Hub Caps and White Wall Radial Tires. For sale in our Louisville Showroom is a 1968 Ford Mustang in Seafoam Green! Upon its debut in 1965, the Ford Mustang was Fords most successful launch since the Model A. This iconic machine essentially created the term Pony Car and has been influencing the sports car market ever since its birth. It was only anticipated that Ford would sell less than 100,000 Mustangs upon its arrival into the automotive world. They out did those projections by just a few to say the least. Producing over 1 million Mustangs in the first 18 months of production due to the enormous demand. The inside is a very clean, vinyl interior that is equipped with ivy gold bench seats and a floor shifter which sets off this Mustang perfectly, power steering, power brakes with factory front disc brakes, seat belts, rally wheels wrapped in radial tires. This Mustang has more than enough power to get you moving down any road. It is equipped with the original 289 Cubic Inch V8 that has 5000 miles on the recent rebuild and provides a very satisfying rumble as soon as you start this pristine Pony. This potent V8 is matted to a C-4 3 Speed automatic transmission that effortlessly shifts through gears allowing this Mustang to reach cruising speeds with ease. This year was also the first where factory front disc brakes were included! Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is proud to offer for sale this nifty white 1978 Toyota Bandeirante (J40 series). The second generation Bandeirante OJ40/OJ45 Series (1968 to 1973), OJ50/OJ55 Series (1973 to 1994) and BJ50/BJ55 Series (1994 to 2001) are J40 series cars built in Brazil by Toyota do Brasil Ltda from 1968 to 2001. Identical to the BJ40 in almost every respect, it had a few stylistic modifications to the grille (models produced from 1989 on featured square headlights, instead of the round ones used before) and used Mercedes-Benz OM-314/OM-324/OM-364 diesel engines (replaced by Toyota 14B inline 4 direct injection Diesel engine in 1994) for much of its production life; another visible major characteristic are the entire hind doors (like at Land Rover) rather than the traditional Toyota two-wing hind doors at the Bandeirantes hard top models.(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Land_Cruiser_%28J40%29) This Bandeirante has a newer grill (with the square headlight configuration found in 1989 and later years), and other enhancements. Sporting a 12,500 pound winch, roof luggage rack with side access ladder, brush guard, deep water fording snorkel kit, new rubber fender lips, comfortable synthetic leather seating surfaces on the custom front sport buckets up front and the rear bench, and a Pioneer AM/FM head unit, it has what you need to get far off-road and enjoy the trip. Powered by a 3.8L diesel backed by a 4-speed manual transmission, it has the torque and gear ratios to go almost anywhere. With its deep-lugged 265/70R16 All-Terrain radial tires wrapping its 16 silver wheels, you can get into some pretty hairy places if you desire. Toyota J-series aficionados will not want to let this one slip past their grasp!
