These classic 2nd generation Chevy pickups are loved by many and quite possibly the most desirable of the classic pickups. Pushing the power to the ground is a Dana 44 rear end, which was freshly installed this year and features 3.73:1 gears. If you havent noticed, this truck is sitting on a set of massive LT315/70R17 Mickey Thompson Baja Claws, which are in like-new condition. For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1960 Triumph TR3. This roadster for sale has a 2138 CC inline four cylinders under the hood that is feed by two side draft SU carburetors making this little roadster quick and fun to drive. When you open the door and slide behind the steering wheel you just can not help but smile and the smile just keeps getting bigger and bigger in fact after a short test drive I found I had perma grin for a day and a half. This TR3 for sale is great for short runs to the store or long weekend drives through the countryside. It surely likes the curves of a fine country road where it can show off the go cart like ability to carve a corner. This must have been what it was like to strap yourself into a bi plane and do some seat of the pants flying in the 1930s. The black interior contrast nicely against the almost light blue white exterior giving this car a very classy look. Backing the snappy 4 cylinder is a 4-speed manual transmission giving you total control of this 1960 Triumph for sale. So, if you ever find yourself behind the wheel of a car like this you will understand why the old British sports cars have such a loyal following. Options for this 1960 TR3 for sale include: Manual convertible top, Hub caps, Vinyl interior, Rally rims, Radial tires and a grin the size of your face. A $237.37 document fee will be added to the sales price. All purchases may be subject to any applicable tax, title, & licensing fees. Description:
For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our Saint Louis showroom is a 1970 Chevrolet Nova. This Nova is way meaner than one may think. Power for this bad machine comes from 450 cubic inch small block using an aftermarket Rocket block. This special block allows for a bit more displacement without sacrificing the blocks integrity. The go fast goodies inside include a full solid roller valve train, Manley connecting rods, 10.5:1 JE Pistons, Quick Fuel carburetor and AFR aluminum high flow cylinder heads to name a few. Power is estimated in the 600 horsepower range. Firing up this amazing power plant will impress any gear head. Many would think that an engine with such power and menacing sound would be a difficult one to drive. Believe it or not, this one is very well mannered. The rear end is a Ford 9 inch and is equipped with 3.00:1 gear set for easy highway use. Since the drivetrain build, the car has covered a modest 1,000 miles and is ready for more use and enjoyment. Slowing down such a machine means that drums wont do the job anymore. In place is a new pair of Wilwood front disc brakes while drums remain out back, but still doing their job. Weld Racing wheels look right at home on this Nova as does the Green on Green paint scheme. Adding a little flair to the exterior in addition to the wheels is a set mild stripes that barley show themselves. You may even call them ghost stripes. Inside is stock Nova with exception of the aftermarket gauges. The original bench seat is quite comfy and looks really good. Someone could very easily swap them out for a pair of buckets if they so desired. For more information on this 1970 Chevrolet Nova, call 618-271-3000 or swing by our St. Louis showroom. Gateway Classic Cars of Detroit is proud to offer for sale this stunning 1971 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 in Hugger Orange. The second-generation Chevrolet Camaro was produced by Chevrolet from 1970 through the 1981 model years. It was longer, lower, and wider than the first-generation Camaro. GM engineers have said the second generation is much more of A Drivers Car than its predecessor. The 1971 Camaro received only minor appearance changes from its 1970 counterpart. Inside, new high-back Strato bucket seats with built-in headrests replaced the 1970-only low-back seats with adjustable headrests. This beautiful example of 1970s styling has been restored and upgraded. The original 350 cubic inch motor has been replaced with a 383 Stroker crate motor. That combined with the addition of cold-blowing air conditioning, power steering and power brakes with discs up front, making this classic much more comfortable to drive. The 300+ horsepower from the small block crate motor hits the wheels through a rebuilt 700R4 transmission. This 1971 Chevrolet Camaro can be seen in our Detroit Showroom, or for more detailed information including over 100 HD photos and an HD video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com or call to speak with one of our friendly and knowledgeable sales staff @ 313-982-3100. Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this beautiful Ruby Red Metallic 1967 Ford Mustang. This beauty is powered by a potent 289 CID V8 with a 3-speed (C4) automatic transmission to make for easy drivability. Topped by an Edelbrock 4BBL carb and aluminum intake, and equipped with coated headers and true dual exhaust, this little pony is feisty enough to have some fun, but not so radical that its a finicky filly. Disc brakes and drum brakes out back help bring it to stops with minimum drama. The brilliant shine of the Ruby Red Metallic paint is mesmerizing in bright sunlight and will get you thumbs up wherever you go. An attractive set of aluminum wheels provide a nice contrast, and the Sumitomo HTR-Z performance radials (215/45ZR17 up front, 235/45ZR17 out back) provide plenty of grip, giving this Mustang much better handling than it had when it was new. Overhead, youll find a custom center console with map lights, which is a nice touch for those long trips with a passenger whod rather read than enjoy the scenery. While theyre reading, youll enjoy the tunes that the Alpine CDA9833 AM/FM/CD radio with Aux and MP3 capability is putting out through the 6X9 speakers in the rear parcel shelf. The engine compartment and the underside of this 1966 Chevy II Nova is super detailed and is sure to bring home trophies at any show it attends. The wheels are a set of original American Racing Torque Thrust Wheels that have been restored and accented with a set of customized “Chevrolet Bowtie Logo†center caps. Inside, the interior is just as fresh as the rest of the car, with new cloth inserts, new vinyl, and new carpet. A nice set of aftermarket gauges keeps track of oil pressure, water temperature, and voltage. All the other gauges are factory pieces and give this little Nova a nice all stock look. A factory looking AM/FM radio has been added with a set of rear speaker so that you can enjoy your favorite tunes. The current owner has more fun restoring these jewels and is ready to move on to his next “Art†project. If you are looking for a show wining Chevy II Nova to gather tons of trophies with, then give us a call, before someone else snatches it up and does all the trophy winning! Description:
Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer up this unique 2002 Chevrolet corvette. This car was built to show support for the fight the end breast cancer and has a very colorful paint scheme that was done in 2010, but also has some serious power to it. Under the hood of this beauty is a 5.7-liter V8. The engine has been set up with twin turbos in a nice sleeper style. The turbos are in the rear where the mufflers would normally be. This allows for a very clean and factory look under the hood other than a large aluminum intercooler. All the engine work was performed by Gulf Coast Performance and then tuned by England green Corp. to put out an estimated 445whp/445wtq. Sending all of that boosted power to the rear is a four-speed automatic transmission that shifts firmly through the gears. Upon opening the door, the driver will immediately notice this car is meant to be over the top. With LSD Lambo doors, these doors function both like stand doors, as well as lambo style. Both seats are done in a custom lamb skin pink to match the exterior paint. Aiding in driver comfort, this sweet ride comes loaded with items including a radio/12-disc CD player, power seats, tilt/telescopic wheel, keyless entry, and power mirrors. All these features add up to be one comfortable sportscar. Moving outward, the exterior of the car is probably one of the most eye catching C5s you will ever see. The base paint is a pewter metallic that has pink flames sprayed on top. The flames show good depth and really highlight the fact that this was a high-quality paint job. The car sits atop chrome alloy wheels that are wrapped in performance low profile tires with good tread life left in them. Overall this car is an award-winning eye catcher with loads of power! Description:
Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this 1953 Dodge B-Series Pickup. The Dodge brand has been in the automotive industry for well over 100 years. Brothers Horace and John started a machine shop outside Detroit at the beginning of the 20th century. They were soon supplying parts for the Ford Motor Company. In 1914 the pair formed Dodge Brothers and were building their own line of automobiles. After the untimely death of both brothers, the company was sold of to Dillion, Read & Company and ultimately falling into the hands of the brilliant Walter P. Chrysler when he started his own auto company Chrysler Corporation in the 1920s. The Dodge truck line became notorious for its strong and capable offering with the Power Wagon truck during World War II. After WWII, the Dodge truck line debuted the new B-Series line in 1948. The “Job Rated” trucks proved to be very worthy vehicles for the growing truck market during the midcentury and were seen on farms and city streets all over the country. The B-series trucks came in several different variants. The B1-B were ½-ton trucks standard with a 95 hp (71 kW) flathead-Inline-six engine while the B1-C were ¾-ton trucks with a standard 108 hp (81 kW) flathead-Inline 6 engines. The B-series trucks featured a high-visibility pilot-house cab with optional rear quarter windows. The engine was shifted forward, and the front axle moved back on the frame for better weight distribution as well as a shorter wheelbase, moving from 116 in (2,900 mm) to 108 in (2,700 mm) on ½-ton models. The cargo bed sides were made higher to increase capacity by 40%. The redesigned cab could seat three people, with 2.5 in (64 mm) more height, 6 in (152 mm) more width and 3 in (76 mm) additional in length. The cab was mounted on rubber mounts for an improved ride. Another innovation for the time was the use of cross-steering arrangement, giving the trucks a 37° turning radius. The cargo box space was increased over previous models and overload springs made optional on all variants to increase hauling capacity. Our featured 1953 Dodge represents the pilot-house era. Known for the wide-open cab that offered plenty of visibility from the driver’s seat and a more spacious area for its passengers. This truck is finished in Red with Black and Red vinyl seats. The truck also features color matched Red steel wheels with “DODGE” dog dish style hub caps. Powering the handsome truck is an Inline Six-cylinder flathead engine matched to a 3-speed manual column mounted transmission. Options on this 1953 Dodge Pickup include: Seat Belts, Bias-Ply Tires, Vinyl Interior, and Hub Caps.
