It sports Accel HEI Ignition, performance electric fuel pump, Edelbrock intake, Holley 770 Avenger Carburetor, and of course, dual exhaust. It has never been raced or modified and has traveled less than 5 miles since produced. It is a new car in every way! Finished in a beautiful yellow hue called Bright Yellow this COPO is a neck snapper. Under the hood of this monster is a hand assembled 350CI LSX V-8 with a massive 2.9L Whipple Supercharger. This engine was hand assembled at the GM Performance Build Center and is certified for NHRA Sportsman class racing. The transmission is a Turbo 400 automatic with a ratcheting shifter for racing use. The suspension features coil over racing shocks at all four corners for adjustability and a solid 9in rear axle out back to put the power to the Hoosier racing slicks. Now is time to get your hands on a future classic that still has a showroom shine. This 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C7R Edition is a 650-horsepower rocket ship and just 500 C7.R Editions were made for 2016, spread across both coupe and convertible body styles. Every single one came with the even-higher-performance Z07 package (Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, adjustable aerodynamic bits, and Michelin Pilot Super Sport Cup 2 tires), a special sequential VIN, and the upscale 3LZ trim (standard leather- or suede-wrapped everything, navigation, and Chevys Performance Data Recorder). And with less than 80 miles on the odometer, you better believe there isnt even an unwanted crease on the drivers seat. You know how new this car is, and so it has all the modern conveniences, including power windows, power locks, keyless entry/ignition, dual air bags, side airbags, and cruise control. The touchscreen infotainment system is filled with options, so it includes satellite navigation, Bluetooth, satellite radio, backup camera, front camera, Apple Carplay, and a premium audio system that is crystal clear even when the targa top is off is out and you are approaching triple-digit speeds. In fact, the modern dual zone climate control means you and you passenger can keep an individual level of cool even with the windows down and the roof out. A true drivers car, you get a grippy sports setting wheel, and just ahead of that are your gauges and a display screen that you can choose to highlight everything from your huge speed to the g-force of the corners. But it is what is under the hood that should get you really excited. The engine bay is packed with 6.2-liters or supercharge V8 power. The 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque makes this faster than the previous generation ZR1, and it only gets better when you take this one out on the street or track. In the late 1960s, Dodge--Plymouths cousin, was struggling to compete in NASCAR. Their standard Charger failed to perform well in races due to its large front grille opening that caused the car to have lots of drag and a rear design that created lift. In 1969, Dodge decided to make some major changes to the Charger to compete with others on the track. Dodge redesigned the Charger, adding a tall wing on the cars rear and a new nose cone to improve the cars aerodynamics. This new design was packaged and sold as the Dodge Charger Daytona. These new design changes paid off almost instantly. When the vehicle first debuted at the Talledega 500, it took home first place. Twisting stout 11.4 to 1 compression into 628 dyno-proven horsepower and a massive 585 lb./ft. of torque, this coupes high performance, Mast Motorsports LSX 454 is a technological testament to the old rule: more cubic inches equals more horsepower! Based on GMs stalwart iron block small block, Masts brutal mill utilizes forged Callies internals, Mahle pistons, ARP fasteners and a custom Mast Motorsports cam to flat out whip pretty much anything with four wheels. A perfect amount of air and fuel is supplied by a mandatory GM throttle body thats cinched to a big, reusable filter element. That air and fuel mixes in a proven Vortec intake and progresses to familiar LS3 cylinder heads that are built with Manley pushrods and LS3 hydraulic roller lifters. Immediately following combustion, spent gases roar through 3-inch, mandrel-bent pipes via black, Jet-Hot coated Stainless Works headers. And a big Be Cool radiator, two Spal puller fans, a heavy duty crankcase breather and high quality Aeromotive fuel components ensure rocket-like acceleration. The modern small block rides in a clean, body-matched engine bay that displays OEM-level attentiveness to both engineering and assembly. And many details, like a smoothed firewall, braided fluid lines, orange, “LSX 454 branded valve covers and slick Fesler hood hardware, dress up GMs traditionally conservative aesthetics. This is usually the point in a pro-tourer breakdown where passive optimism has turned into nail-biting enthusiasm. And unfortunately, that excitement is sometimes dampened by statements like “a stalwart TH400 transmission or “a familiar 12-bolt rear end. Not so with this first class Chevelle! Its owners crystal clear vision of eventual perfection has culminated in a completely custom suspension thats chock full of high performance hardware and modern drivetrain components. Aesthetically, the bottom of this Chevelle is just as clean as its top, featuring black floors and a full outfit of stainless hardware. And essentials like a new fuel tank, braided brake lines and an in-tank, high flow fuel pump round out a roster of top notch details. Open this Chevys solid-closing doors and take in a custom black interior that, as an astute combination of serious hardware and modern aesthetics, is the perfect place to spend high profile weekends. The first thing youll notice is four racing-style bucket seats: two of which are fitted with 5-point Impact Racing harnesses, and all of which are so supportive theyll have no problem living 100 miles at a time. Styling changes for 1975 brought dual rectangular headlamp lenses flanked by rectangular cornering lights wrapped around squared-off front fenders. A new cross hatched grille also appeared, with Cadillac script on the header. Sedan's now featured thin opera windows set within the D-pillars. New standard equipment included front fender lamp monitors, power door locks, high energy ignition, steel-belted radial whitewall tires. The 210 hp 500 V8 replaced the 472 as the standard engine. Electronic fuel injection became optional in March 1975. Another option was the Astroroof with sliding sunshade that permitted use as an electrically operated sunroof or a transparent closed skylight. An ordinary sunroof panel was also available. New hinged door pull handles replaced the old door pull straps for 1975 and 1976.
