Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1985 Chevrolet El Camino SS Choo Choo Customs! In the late 50s Chevrolet decided to try their hand at making coupe utility vehicle following the success of Ford’s Ranchero. As all successes go there is always another that wants a piece of the pie. With that said it wasn’t long until Chevy unveiled the El Camino and it was an instant hit selling more its first year than the Ranchero did in its first year, 2 years prior. The El camino would see 5 generations spanning nearly 25 years! Here we have an ’85 Model and a Super Sport that also happens to be a Choo Choo Customs! Its not uncommon amongst manufacturers to contract a 3rd party to customize some of their production cars. In 1983 Chevrolet contracted Choo Choo Customs to build exclusive examples of the El Camino. The El Camino Super Sports would receive a special aerodynamic polyurethane front nose from the Monte Carlo, machine turned aluminum side moldings, designer series door handle inserts, SS decals, and a Choo Choo Customs train emblem on the dashboard. It would be touted as the car the GM should have made. Only a believed 2200 were made from 1983-1987.This car stands out! The black and silver paint with the red trim is striking! The burgundy interior hardly looks used as well as it should being this baby only has 3300 miles on the odometer. Both the title and Carfax substantiate the mileage to be true! Powering this Elco is the 305ci 5.0L V8 backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. This Chevy has had 1 owner for the vast majority of its life. She has clearly been garage kept. The title is clean and clear and ready to be transferred into your name now. The Carfax is clean with no accidents. These cars don’t come up for sale often so do not miss your chance to have a rare El Camino that will certainly turn heads anywhere you take it! Options on this Elco are: A/C, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows/Locks, Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, AM/FM Radio, Aluminum Wheels, and Radial Tires. This 1985 Chevrolet El Camino SS Choo Choo Customs is offered by our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver welcomes this 1966 Convertible Chevrolet SS 396 Malibu Tribute. This is a fine example of a SS 396 Tribute. The Red Paint with the Blacktop make a very bold statement. This one should be taken to the Local Cruises either with the top up or down. The Chevrolet Malibu is a mid-size car manufactured and marketed by Chevrolet from 1964 to 1983 and since 1997. The Malibu began as a trim-level of the Chevrolet Chevelle, becoming its own model line in 1978. Originally a rear-wheel-drive intermediate, GM revived the Malibu nameplate as a front-wheel-drive car in 1997. Named after coastal community of Malibu, California, the Malibu was marketed primarily in North America, with the eighth generation introduced globally. In the mid 1960s the Malibu SS was available only as a two-door Sport Coupe hardtop or convertible and added bucket seats, center console (with optional four-speed manual or Powerglide transmissions), engine gauges and special wheel covers, and offered with any six-cylinder or V8 engine offered in other Chevelles. The Malibu SS was replaced in 1966 by a new Chevelle SS-396 series that included a big-block 396 cu in (6.5 L) V8 engine (Canadian market did not receive the SS 396 but marketed the former Malibu SS nameplate until January 1967 when it was phased out), heavy duty suspension and other performance equipment. Other SS-396 equipment was similar to Malibu Sport Coupes and convertibles including an all-vinyl bench seat. Bucket seats and console with floor shift were now optional on the SS and for 1966 with the SS now denoting a car with a big-block engine, the bucket seats became a new option on the regular Malibu Sport Coupe and convertible, upon which any six-cylinder or small-block V8 could be ordered. Also new for 1966 was the Chevelle Malibu four-door Sport Sedan hardtop. Styling revisions on all 1966 Chevelles including more rounded styling similar to the full-sized Chevrolets with sail panels and tunneled rear windows featured on two-door hardtop coupes.. Dont miss your opportunity to own a piece of real American built Chevrolet history in our Denver Showroom. It can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and a HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to present this clean 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 W-30 Tribute. Originally a Cutlass Supreme with a 350 Oldsmobile engine, this Cutlass has seen quite a few changes. At some point in the vehicles history, the 350 was pulled and a 455 was put in its place. Shortly before getting into the current owners hands, unfortunately, the transmission had failed. It was completely rebuilt to handle the increase in torque thanks to a shift kit and a few other goodies. Shortly after that, disaster struck again and the 455 had a catastrophic failure. The decision was made to drop a 383 cubic inch small block Chevrolet V8 engine from Blueprint Engines. This Cutlass has plenty of power to get up and move now! It sounds like rolling thunder coming down the road thanks to the 400+ horsepower rating. The black vinyl interior is in great shape, and has held up well over the years. The vehicle has been repainted, though it is not known when. The paint looks slick and pops in the sunlight. Dont let this red rocket blast off without you!

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Indianapolis is proud to feature this 1963 Volkswagen Beetle! Sometimes in the automotive industry youll hear the word “Survivor, this 1963 Beetle is the very definition of that word. Having been featured in the 2021 issue of “Volks America this car is a Volkswagen Purists dream! The current owner found this Beetle completely bone-stock, with its original “Beryl Green paint, sitting in Sacramento, CA in the presence of its original owner, who was then was ready to let the car go to a new home. Once the car made it home with the new owner, they had the idea to build a hotrod stance and give it an all-updated brake system to ensure it was safe to drive. All the original components were kept so that anyone could take it back to being its original self. But to ensure the Beetle could stop safely, all linings were replaced with new shoes, as well as new bearings, wheel cylinders, and a master cylinder. A pair of 2.5-inch drop spindles from SoCal Imports were installed along with a 2-inch narrowed adjustable beam with tie rods from CB Performance for the front suspension. The back was lowered one notch for the perfect hotrod stance. It does come with the original matching “Beryl Green L478 paint wheels; however, the car was given an upgrade to the current 3.5 wide ERCO 15-inch wheels in the front and 6-inch wide ERCOs in the back. The 1200cc motor was rebuilt and given a (Big Bore Kit) and still sports the original engine and transmission. The interior in the car was in great condition, including steering wheel, shift boot, seat covers, headliner, door panels floor mats, and kick panels - which were all in its original stock Olive Green color. The stereo system was replaced with an Alpine deck, a single Memphis 10-inch sub, two Memphis 6x9 speakers in a box covered with the same green square weave carpet, and a 500-watt amp with new audio. There have been a lot of new parts to make this car viable for everyday use. Such as New Window Seals, Door Seals, Square Weave Carpet, Tires + Wheels, Clutch. The owner did keep all the original equipment, provided the new owner ever wants to put it back to stock. This is one rare Beetle with just a tad over 82,000 miles on the car. It truly was a Volkswagen barn find that is ready to be enjoyed by the next Volkswagen Beetle Enthusiast! For more information about this vehicle, contact our Indianapolis showroom at (317) 688-1100 or indianapolis@gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle for sale at the Milwaukee Showroom. Many iterations of the Chevelle came in went in the short period of time that they were made and yet it seems like each year has its individual following. 1966 came about with a different design from the 65 year with a different front-end look and an all-around larger car. Under the hood of this American muscle icon lies a 327 cubic inch small block V8 which has been mildly built with a hotter camshaft, a different set of cylinder heads and makes a loud exhale through a set of longtube headers which dump midway of the length of the car through a set of turbo mufflers. This makes for one loud machine that is sure to grab anyones attention for the sound while making a healthy 375 horsepower, but they will keep their eyes on this car as its coated in a shiny Stryker Red which is sure to intimidate the car sitting in the adjacent lane as you. The small block V8 is bolted to 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive which is bound to give you the real feel of American muscle with every solid gearshift while providing the practicality of being able to cruise at highway speeds. The Chevelle also is equipped with AM/FM radio with cassette, Power brakes, and air conditioning which makes for an easier cruising muscle car altogether. The statement to say that you will not see a car like this twice is an understatement unless you make sure that youre the next owner, so dont disappoint yourself and see what you can do about becoming the next proud person with the keys in hand! This 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle is available at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in person, it can be seen at our Milwaukee Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is excited to offer this unique, and very cool Omaha Orange 1961 Ford Econoline pickup. Built by a reputable builder in the Denver, Colorado area, this 1961 Econoline was built with drivability and performance in mind. This beauty is powered by a potent 307 CID V8 engine, which is equipped with a newly installed Holley Terminator-X fuel injection setup, ceramic coated shorty headers, and dual exhausts with stainless steel mufflers. Its kept cool by a large aluminum radiator, which is outfitted with a Spal electric fan. A 200R4 4-speed automatic slushbox handles the gear changes that send the power out back to the Corvette IRS rear end. In addition to the independent rear suspension, the front suspension was replaced with a fully adjustable Heidts setup, with tubular upper and lower control arms. This nifty trucks engine has also been moved backward from the original location, thanks to a custom boxed frame, thus giving it a near mid-engine layout. While having the engine so far back might make one think its a corner-carver, its not quite there yet - its center of gravity is a bit high for that; but it definitely handles better than most drivers are going to want to go, should they decide to explore its outer limits. The Heidts front suspension setup also allows for the use of power rack and pinion steering, so its definitely easy to guide through the corners. It also stops well, thanks to its power 4-wheel disc brakes and meaty radial tires: sized 195/70R14s in front and 245/60R15s out back. Once youve finished exploring all of the slick (and subtle) custom touches outside, youll be itching to get inside. When you open the doors, you cant help but noticing how smoothly the doors latch and unlatch, and how crisply they close thanks to the Audi door latches that were installed. New weatherstripping and window felts keep things sealed (and quiet), so that occupants can enjoy the creature comforts inside. The interior has been well fitted with virtually all the creature comforts you could want in a truck like this, including heat and air conditioning, auto dimming inside mirror, power outside mirrors, intermittent wipers, iDidit cruise control, overhead console with outside temperature and compass heading, and automatic headlights. Theres even a trick kill switch installed (well tell you what it is when you buy the truck)! The real smoked glass windows (no window film here!) helps keep the cool in, and heat and prying eyes out. A full set of AutoMeter gauges provide critical information to the driver, and a trans temp gauge is tucked away for the drivers eyes. There are subtle custom touches all over this truck, including the LED taillights, the pinstripe down the sides that subtly hints of the EFI that its equipped with (EFI/ME neatly worked into the pinstripe motif), the custom floor mats that are made of the same material as the carpet (thus blending in unobtrusively while protecting the carpet), and more...looking under the inside engine cover, one can see how far back the engine was moved, and looking into the engine compartment, can see the detail therein. Engine turned aluminum panels frame the engine bay and speak to the attention to detail like the hidden inner workings of a fine Swiss automatic watch: one cant see the Côtes de Genève on their rotors (unless they have an exhibition back), but theyre there. One can also see hints of an aircraft motif going as well, looking at the custom touches around the side exhaust outlets, with the polished tips: the word Hot is right there in the pinstripe treatment! This 1961 Econoline pickup would make a great vehicle for drivers wanting to take off on a long-haul journey in a classic vehicle, yet who desire the comfort provided by its decidedly non-vintage interior upgrades...or, you could just zip down to the local show and maybe even bring back some trophies! No matter what your plan might be this custom Ford will put a smile on your face. For more information on this 1961 Ford Econoline pickup, to see all the HD pictures and videos of it, copy the URL below, and see it at this direct link: https://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/show/HOU/1994 . Description:

Ladies and Gentlemen, Gateway Classic Cars in Kansas City is awestruck to offer a very cool aero inspired 1955 Oldsmobile Super 88! In the 1955 model year, new sales records were achieved for the U.S. auto industry and Oldsmobile that would endure for a decade. Wide public acceptance of the divisions well-appointed Go Ahead styled models, which were fortified with an even more powerful 324-cu.in. overhead-valve Rocket V-8, propelled production to 583,179 cars being built. Oldsmobile offered the 88 and Super 88 series on a 122-inch wheelbase and the Ninety-Eight on a 126-inch wheelbase. The entry-level 88 line featured a four-door sedan, two-door sedan or two-door Holiday coupe (hardtop). A 324-cu.in. two-barrel engine and three-speed manual transmission were standard with the four-barrel engine optional. Super 88s provided the 324 four-barrel V-8 as standard. Its 324 engine is powerful and accelerates very well, considering the era. You can see why this was the engine of choice for hot rodders in the 60s. With go-fast looks and rocket-based marketing, providing power under the hood to back up the boasts was essential. Of course, Oldsmobile excelled in this area as well. Its 303-cu.in. V-8 that wowed the public with its overhead-valves and 135 horsepower when introduced for the 1949 models, grew to 324 cubic inches for 1954 and received top-end breathing enhancements to increase horsepower to 185 with the Quadri-Jet four-barrel and 170 hp with the two-barrel. For 1955, a higher 8.5:1 compression ratio, higher lift hydraulic-lifter cam, and improved combustion chambers increased the power rating of the four-barrel, 324-cu.in. engine to 202 hp and the two-barrel version to 185 hp. Our pristine white over red example appears showroom new to most. Accented with chrome rockets and gleaming mega front and rear bumpers, this Super 88 shouts for attention and more times than not, gets plenty! Not to be outdone, and as nice as the exterior is, the interior is unique enough to charge admission! Really, it seems that Olds designers of the day were trying to ‘knock-it-out-of-the-park with every single interior design element! All gauges, switches, levers, knobs, pedals, etc., are unique, period art elements. Somehow, they all work together to make a functioning automobile. She is quite a vision to behold…..that runs really well! However, like all visions, this Striking Oldsmobile will fade away when purchased by someone else. Dont let this happen to you! Call your friendly purveyors of awsomness at Gateway Classic Cars in Kansas City and we will be happy to provide you with details of this Super 88. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer this 1967 Mustang Hardtop for sale in our Indianapolis showroom. This 1967 Mustang is a true S code car with a 390 cubic inch V8 and 4 speed transmission with 16,128 miles since restoration. The included Marti report indicates that this car was built at San Diego on 11/11/1966. The window sticker, also with the car, includes the GT equipment group, limited-slip differential, courtesy light group, console, deluxe steering wheel, power steering, conditioner, AM radio and tinted glass. The following is from an article on Hagerty.com: The car was overlooked by the customers chasing mighty Cobra Jets and K-Code 289s is the 390-cid S-Code Mustang, produced with little fanfare in 1967-69. That relative lack of collector car attention may well make S-Code Mustangs the markets unsung hero. Although the 390-inch V-8 is roughly 165 pounds heavier than the thin-wall 289, its good breathing produced impressive output: up to 325 horsepower and 427 pound-feet of torque. That is within spitting distance of the 428 Cobra Jets 335 hp and 440 lb-ft (spitting distance being 3.7 percent fewer horses and 3.0 percent less torque, assuming Fords rating methods for both engines were consistent). Their low profile in the market has resulted in values that are steady, less subject to whims of fad and fashion. The 390 was based on the FE-series V-8s introduced in 1958 for Thunderbirds and Edsels. The FE-series persisted well into the 1970s, installed in everything from pickups to Cammer-powered drag cars and Le Mans-winning GT40s. It began flexing its muscle in the redesigned 1967 Mustang’s wider engine compartment. To view this beautiful 1967 Mustang, please visit our site at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call 317-688-1100, or email us at indy@gatewayclassiccars.com.
