Description:

AC Cars Ltd, a British manufacturer, was contacted by Carroll Shelby in 1961 to build a car modified to handle a V8 engine. The updated version of the AC Ace platform arrived in Los Angeles, CA on February 2, 1962 and a legend was born. Given the racing history and limited production of the originals, several kit reproductions have been produced over the years. This shining example comes via Classic Roadsters, Ltd. in Fargo, ND. This awesome 1992 edition is powered by a 289cid V8 mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The owner states 4194 actual miles with 500 since a recent engine and clutch rebuild. Features include a Fast 2.0 Fuel Injection system set up for optional NOS functionality. The Maroon PPG paint really reflects well on the overall quality of this build. Additional options added are an AM/FM CD stereo system, power brakes, tilt steering wheel and clock. This beautiful 1992 Cobra replica is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this beautiful vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is excited to offer this Ultra Clean California Car 1988 Porsche 928 S4. The 928, produced from 1978 to 1995, was originally intended to be Porsche’s flagship model over the 911. The thought was to combine the high performance of a sports car with the refinement of a luxury sedan in a market where regulations were becoming increasingly stringent. Interestingly, the 928 was the only V8 powered coupe ever produced by Porsche, making for a very special car. This numbers matching 928 S4 is powered by a 5.0L V8 that is estimated about 316hp from the factory. This is mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. This engine packs quite a punch and the transmission shifts smoothly. The ride in this grand tourer is sporty enough for the most discerning driver yet sophisticated enough for the pickiest of passengers. The 928 S4 has remarkable handling and cornering capabilities. This sports coupe is in excellent condition thanks to the meticulous maintenance work the current owner has had performed. Some of the work recently performed in spelled out in the maintenance records provided by the owner. This Porsche presents itself beautifully and you can tell that someone went through the car with a fine-tooth comb. The Blue Leather interior and matching blue carpet and dash of this 928 looks impeccable. It is well sorted and extremely clean. The exterior of this Venetian Blue Porsche shows very well. The highly desirable blue on blue color combination works perfectly on this car. The Wheels are a highly desired Factory 18 BBS 2 Piece Sport Design 10 Spoke, valued at $2200 a set. Whether you are looking for a Grand Touring car for road trips, a sporty daily driver, or a fun Sunday ride, you’ve found the Porsche for you! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver is proud to present this amazing 1986 Jeep CJ 10 The Jeep CJ-10 was a CJ-bodied pickup truck based on a heavily modified Jeep J10 pickup truck. It was sold and designed for export markets, Australia in particular. They featured rectangular headlights mounted in the fenders and a ten-slot grille, where all other CJ Jeeps had a seven-slot grille. The CJ-10 could have either a hard or soft top. The truck could be equipped to handle either a 5,900 lb or 6,700 lb GVW. Three engines were offered; a 198 cu in (3.2 L) six-cylinder Nissan-built diesel engine, a 151 cu in (2.5 L) four-cylinder AMC-built engine, or a 258 cu in (4.2 L) six-cylinder AMC-built engine. The driveline was largely from the larger J series pickups, consisting of either a four-speed Tremec T177 manual transmission or a three-speed TorqueFlite A727 automatic transmission, a New Process 208 transfer case, a semi-floating Dana 44 front differential, and either a semi-floating Dana 44 or Dana 60 rear differential, depending on GVW rating.[81] Importation of the CJ-10 into Australia ended in 1985 with the drop of the Australian dollars value, causing the vehicle to be significantly more costly than its competitors. This example of a CJ 10 holsters a 360 CID V8 bolted up to a NV4500 5 speed manual transmission. With a Dana 70 rear axle equipped with 4:56 gears. The bed is a custom made bed special to this specific CJ. Also, this CJ 10 does have a removeable top. Options include Power brakes, power steering, cloth buckets seats and more. Dont miss your opportunity to own a piece of Jeep history. It can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and a HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1964 Chevrolet El Camino! In the late 50s Chevrolet decided to try their hand at making coupe utility vehicle following the success of Ford’s Ranchero. As all successes go there is always another that wants a piece of the pie. With that said it wasn’t long until Chevy unveiled the El Camino and it was an instant hit selling more its first year than the Ranchero did in its first year, 2 years prior. The El camino would see 5 generations spanning nearly 25 years! Here we have a ’64 model and wow does she pull your eye. The Azure Aqua paint looks sharp and the matching interior is also in good order. Under the hood is a spirited 283ci V8 with power running down through a 4-speed manual transmission. The car runs and drives very good and shifts with a breeze. The current owner has had her for over a year and acquired from a private owner. He installed Wilwood disc brakes in the front and added American Racing Wheels. The title is clean and clear and ready to be transferred into your name now. This is one of the nicer of the era El Caminos we have had in here in some time, don’t miss your chance to have slick ride! Description:

Gateway Classic Car of Fort Lauderdale is happy to offer this Plymouth Barracuda Convertible from 1967. This second-generation Barracuda still shared many components with the Valiant but was stylishly redesigned with model-specific sheet metal and beside the convertible, came available as well in a hardtop and coupe, while joining the original fastback offering. The new Barracuda was chiefly the work of John E. Herlitz and John Samsen, with Coke-bottle side contours and heavily revised front and rear ends. In 1967, while the 225 cu in (3.7L) slant-6 was still the base engine, the V8 options ranged from the two and four barrel versions of the 273 cu in (4.5 L) to a seldom-ordered 383 cu in (6.3 L) “B Big-Block rated at 280 bhp (210 kw), the latter available only with the Formula S Package. That said, this 1967 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible is powered by a 273 V-8 engine and automatic transmission. This is an all original matching numbers Plymouth Barracuda Convertible. This car looks great and runs beautifully. There is nothing like a convertible on a warm summer night, especially in a classic 1967 Barracuda. Indeed, this is a creative example of late 1960s Chrysler design with great lines and will please any Mopar purist. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1927 Ford Model T for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. Up until around 1915 there were three sources for powering vehicles. Steam which was efficient quiet and powerful but very dangerous. Electricity which had the same qualities as steam but could barely go 5 miles before having to charge. Then there was the Gasoline motor. It was dirty, crude and hard to operate but a man named Henry Ford would change all of that. He liked the ever-evolving power you could get from a gasoline engine so when he decided to build the affordable car to the masses it was an easy decision to go with the gasoline motor. In 1914 his streamlined process known as the assembly line was used to produce the now legendary Model T. It would prove to be the automobile available to the masses. This 1927 Model T has a beefy 350 CI V8 motor under its spit butterfly style hood. The after-market wheels are a nice touch, and in great shape. The body of this model T is great condition with no major dents or signs of rust anywhere. The black and red paint looks nice and protects the metal body nicely. This one has not been chopped at all and some would call it a “Tall T. With most of these being cut up Tall Ts are definitely getting hard to find. If you are looking for a great car to run around town and go to car shows, then this is the Tall T for you. Options on this cool 1927 Model T include: Power Windows, Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, and Custom Wheels with Radial Tires.
