Description:

Check out this piece of American history! This 1965 Shelby Daytona continuation car built in 2015 by Superformance has around 3,500 miles since it was built and looks just as nice as the day it was finished. The Shelby Daytona was built to compete against Ferrari in 1964-1965 and took a few respectable titles. This Guardsman blue with Wimbledon white stripes is the classic Daytona look and is powered by a 351W that was stroked to a 427 putting out plenty of power. Hooked up behind this small block Ford is a Tremec 5-speed manual and transfers it all back to the bullet-proof 9” rear end. Once inside this Daytona is when you can start noticing subtle differences hinting to the fact it is a continuation car including power windows and power locks, air conditioning, and firm leather seats. As you fire up the 427 and set off on your drive, you will be amazed at how streetable this car is. When driving it like a normal driver it is smooth and comfortable ride, but as you start to push it, the racing pedigree starts to show and is very entertaining! The continuation series Daytona coupe is one of very limited ever made and is sure to stay a hot commodity with plenty of room for appreciation. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1965 Shelby Daytona Coupe in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Thats right, a massive V8 fits in this little car and moves it from 0-60 in 4.5 seconds! AMG backs the V8 with a silky smooth 7 speed automatic transmission which delivers the power to the SLKs rear wheels. The transmission has a manual shift mode for sport driving. Description:

The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1972 MG MGB GT. This MG has been given a rebuild on the engine and transmission about 1000 miles ago by OFI classics. The 1800 engine and 5 speed transmission work well and will show you what British motor cars are all about. They are fun and get you connected to the road and the experience. The fixed-roof MGB GT was introduced in October 1965. Production continued until 1980, although export to the US ceased in 1974. The MGB GT sported a ground-breaking greenhouse designed by Pininfarina and launched the sporty hatchback style. By combining the sloping rear window with the rear deck lid, the B GT offered the utility of a station wagon while retaining the style and shape of a coupe. This new configuration was a 2+2 design with a right-angled rear bench seat and far more luggage space than in the roadster. Relatively few components differed, although the MGB GT did receive different suspension springs and anti-roll bars and a different windscreen which was more easily and inexpensively serviceable. Although acceleration of the GT was slightly slower than that of the roadster, owing to its increased weight, top speed improved by 5 mph to 105 mph because of better aerodynamics. Options include: Seat belts, radial tires, and vinyl interior, aluminum wheels and cloth interior. To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For more information please call the Atlanta showroom at 678-894-4833!

Description:

Built up right and ready to take whatever you throw at it! This beast of a Ranchero has had a great deal of time and money put into it to make it as reliable as possible and perform with the best. The Ford Ranchero was the first of its kind putting a bed on the same platform as the Ford’s popular sedan of the day and was first introduced back in 1957. This ranchero is part of the second generation which shares the same front end as the Ford Falcon. Sitting under the hood of this 1964 Ranchero is an engine that has helped solidify the Ford brand in the history books and has been rated as one of the top ten best engines of all time. The 351 Windsor was strong and capable of producing massive amounts of power. This 351 has a few performance parts on it including a lighter and better flowing aluminum intake and some dress up parts including finned aluminum valve covers and a polished aluminum air filter, and aluminum radiator. Putting this engine in the small Falcon platform is a huge upgrade from the factory 289 V8. With the extra horsepower in this vehicle a stronger transmission was necessary and to address this issue a David Kee built 4-speed top loader was installed that can easily handle the power of the larger V8. Keeping all of this power planted is a trick suspension set up including front and rear sway bars, brand new P-S-T Performance front end, Koni shocks on all four corners, traction bars, subframe connectors, Mustang GT front shock towers, and the upgraded 1965 Falcon steering linkage, all poly-graphite bushings, With all of these upgrades you can go into any corner with the upmost confidence. This Ranchero is not just performance orientated though; the interior was upgraded to a very cushy baseball glove leather interior that provides a comfortable ride even on the bumpy roads. The premium stereo system is clear and will blow you away while listening to your favorite classic hits. This 1964 Ranchero is an excellent cruiser and, if you are looking for something that is practical yet fun and reliable this may be the perfect classic for you! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1964 Ford Ranchero in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Description:

This 1984 El Camino is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The El Camino is not really a truck yet not really a car but something in between. It has had the hearts and imagination of many since its release in the late 50’s. They gained popularity in the mid-sixties but really came on strong in the 80’s. Most recently many have taken these trucks/cars and put stronger engines making them a lot more fun to drive. This 84 has done just that with a hopped up small block 350 under the hood. The motor sounds great and is a lot more than the original 305 ever thought about being. The 350 Engine and transmission were built and installed about 4000 miles ago, so there is plenty of life left in this drivetrain. Allowing the exhaust to flow is a new set of manifolds as well as a true dual exhaust setup from the manifolds back. With new brake lines, master cylinder, calipers, and wheel cylinders this thing will stop as good as it goes. With the cooling system new as well you should have no issues with overheating and be confident when cruising in traffic. The rubber molding around the around the windows was replaced as well with it still being in great condition. The interior of the car is original and appears to be in great shape with no major signs of wear. If you have been wanting to get a up and coming car but thought about a truck as well this could be the great compromise between the two. Options on this 1984 Chevrolet El Camino include, AC, AM/FM/CD, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Power Locks, Tilt Steering, Seat Belts, and Radial Tires. Description:

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a sweet little 1961 Nash Metropolitan Convertible . With the cease of Nash sales in early 1962, this 61 Nash Metropolitan for sale is one rare economy car. This Nash Metropolitan for sale, is one of the very first economy cars and was only offered for sale in the U.S. and Canada from 1954-1962. Early in Nash history they shared a partnership with Hudson as well as Rambler, in the later years. Powering this little Metro is a 1.5 liter inline 4-cylinder engine. At only 1,785 lbs, the inline is more than enough to put some pep in this Nashs step. Backed by a manual 3-speed transmission, this Nash was recorded to consistently knock down 30-40 MPGs. With the 3-on-the-tree shifter, this car isnt only economical to drive, but is a blast too! The exterior is a vintage paint scheme of yellow and white. The light color scheme is full of nostalgia and takes you back in time to the 60s. With tiny steel wheels with hub caps and whitewall radial tires, this car is both cute and classy. Looking at the inside, youll be impressed with the room available. This Nash sports a Black and white cloth bench style front bench, which in itself suits the car well. This Nash convertible would make a great piece for anyone interested in vintage British collector cars or just wants an attention-grabbing piece of history. With a full-sized car feel, in a compact package, this car was green and economical before it was cool! This cute 1961 Nash for sale was sold with one thought in mind, to sell an economical and well-built car. The Metropolitan took the minimalist approach, which can be seen, only optioned with AM radio and vinyl/cloth interior. Look at the mono-speedometer/ gauge cluster, steel wheels with hub caps and wide whitewall tires! Small, lightweight, and easy to drive, its no wonder that the sales of this car were second in imports, to only Volkswagen. Not only is it easy to drive, but its a blast to drive. Look at this car and picture yourself going to the grocery store on Thursday, the cruise-in car show on Friday, and hitting the beach on Saturday! That dream is just one phone call away! A $237.37 document fee will be added to the sales price. All purchases may be subject to any applicable tax, title, & licensing fees. for more information please call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or e-mail us at Nashville@GatewayClassicCars.com

Prices for the Model A ranged from US$385 for a roadster to US$1400 for the top-of-the-line Town Car. The engine was a water-cooled L-head inline four with a displacement of 201 cu in (3.3 l).[6] This engine provided 40 hp (30 kW; 41 PS).[6] Top speed was around 65 mph (105 km/h). The Model A had a 103.5 in (2,630 mm) wheelbase with a final drive ratio of 3.77:1. The transmission was a conventional unsynchronized three-speed sliding gear manual with a single speed reverse. The Model A had four-wheel mechanical drum brakes The 1930 and 1931 models were available with stainless steel radiator cowling and headlamp housings. The Model A was the first Ford to use the standard set of driver controls with conventional clutch and brake pedals, throttle, and gearshift. Previous Fords used controls that had become uncommon to drivers of other makes. The Model As fuel tank was situated in the cowl, between the engine compartments fire wall and the dash panel. It had a visual fuel gauge, and the fuel flowed to the carburetor by gravity. A rear-view mirror was optional. In cooler climates, owners could purchase an aftermarketcast iron unit to place over the exhaust manifold to provide heat to the cab. Description:

Only two owners on this cool and rare glass roof Town Coupe. The Marti report shows this Lincoln is the only one made in 1978 with these options. Including: 460-4V V8, C-6 automatic transmission, A/C, 8-track, vinyl roof, Dark Red Velour Comfort Lounge Seats, block heater, and the town coupe package. And as you can see from the dash this was originally a Canadian car. With 96,145 Km on the odometer, that equates to only 59,741 miles. This beauty has been meticulously cared for since day one. Now she is looking for a new home. For 1978, the dashboard was updated for the first time, as the Lincoln Continental adopted a revised version of the Mercury Grand Marquis dashboard. In addition to increasing parts commonality, the update was done to save weight; the plastic-frame Mercury dashboard was lighter than the previous steel-frame version. In a similar move, Lincoln redesigned the rear fender skirts, adopting a version that covered less of the rear wheels. Alongside the optional sliding glass sunroof, a fixed glass moonroof with an interior sunshade was introduced (for the first time since the 1955 Ford Skyliner) To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our Denver showroom. Description:

This 1991 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 91 Corvette was based on the C4 platform which was introduced in 1984. The looks of the car were revolutionary but when released you could only get a coupe. 1986 would change all of that with the introduction of the convertible back to the line-up. This red example is a 3-owner car with the current one owning it for the past 16 years. With a clean auto history, you can buy this beauty with confidence. The red paint is in exceptional condition especially considering its 27 years old. The black convertible top is in just as good condition with no signs of leaking. Naturally if the weather is right riding with the top down is the only way to go. Inside the black leather shows nicely with the seats being rather comfortable. Hit the key and the fuel injected small block comes to life quickly. Drop it down in drive and smash the gas with the AOD transmission taking care of all the work. With those huge tires hugging the road hitting that curvy stretch is not a problem at all. If it does happen to slip the traction control will help you out or leave it off for the full experience. If you have been looking for a clean unmolested convertible C4 Corvette this Red Rocket should be at the top of your list. Options on this 1991 Chevrolet Corvette include; AM/FM/CD/Cassette, AC, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Seats, Power Windows, Power Locks, Traction Control, Driver Airbag, Anti-Theft System, Tilt Wheel, Leather Interior, and Aluminum Wheels with Radial Tires. The GT comes with a 361 hp (269 kW)[15] 6.0 L (364 cu in) Generation IV V8,[13] featuring a 6-speed 6L80 automatic and Active Fuel Management, capable of reaching 60 mph (97 km/h) in 5.2 seconds,[16] with quarter-mile times as low as 13.4 seconds.[16] The G8 GT averages a fuel economy of 15/24 mpg (city/highway). A 6-speed manual was being considered as an option on the GT model, but Pontiac decided against offering it, stating that it would instead be offered as an option on the G8 GXP. One change in 2009 was the deletion of the center stack oil pressure and voltage gauges. Midway through the 2009 model year a few changes were made to the G8 GT, including an additional pair of catalytic converters which reduced engine output to 355 hp (265 kW), the addition of bluetooth and rear cup holders that pulled out from under the rear seats.

In addition to the larger engine and six-speed transmission, GT models also contain additional equipment, including all of the standard Sedan features plus quad tailpipes, clear taillight lenses (as opposed to the Sedan's traditional red taillights), automatic dual-zone air conditioning, a larger center-console display screen, and an 11-speaker Blaupunkt premium audio system with 2 subwoofers, six-disc CD changer, and auxiliary input jack.[14] Some (but not all) of these features are available as options on the base model. A sports package is available on the GT, adding sport metallic pedals, QS4 19" machine-faced aluminum wheels, summer performance tires and a slightly smaller diameter, leather-wrapped Sport steering wheel.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1955 Volkswagen Beetle. Volkswagen Beetles are one of the most recognized cars in the world, and this 1955 VW Beetle will be recognized more than most. When purchasing a classic car, it always helps when the vehicle has had a long-term owner. History is everything when it comes to dealing with these cars. This Bug was a one owner vehicle for 30 years, which means it comes with extensive knowledge. In 2014, it was fully restored with the original body being placed on a 1975 pan. The car shows no rust, which Volkswagens were notorious for. Along with the new restoration, Teal paint was applied. Inside youll find newer grey cloth interior accented by green LED interior lights. This isnt your typical 55 VW Beetle Oval. Roll the windows down, crank up the sound system, and you can be the life of the party. The system omits a booming 600 watts that will make the average Shore Blvdseem like the happening spot. If it gets too hot, turn on the frigid A/C and cool off. When it comes to customizing a vehicle, stance places a big role. What type of persona do you want the car to present? Judging by the stance put forth by the IRS suspension, this car oozes coolness. This car will not only be a local legend, it already has appeared in several magazine articles. With only 20,000 miles since being restored 5 years ago, there is a long life ahead of this car. You can jump on the highway and take a cross country trip in this car, especially with the highway gears it has in it which came out of a Super Beetle. Dont worry about stopping either. This 55 Beetle is sporting disc brakes all the way around. Options include A/C, AM/FM CD Radio, Power Windows, Seat Belts, 17 Aluminum/Alloy Wheels, and Spare Tire. This 1955 Volkswagen Beetle is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

For sale in our Detroit showroom is this stunning 1971 Chevy C30 Tow Truck! These second-generation trucks were the beginning of a very important milestone in Chevrolet vehicle production, as trucks were beginning to be offered with improved interior options and drive-train packages, to add a new level of comfort and convenience to trucks that were previously only used as work vehicles for commercial purposes. This particular truck has been meticulously restored to like-new condition, and taken a few steps further with some wild additions to make it a blast to cruise around in and present at shows! The quality of the build begins with the incredible Twilight Metallic Blue paint that really shines out in the sunlight and looks stunning with the addition of the light flames. While not immediately noticeable from a quick glance, the frame has been sandblasted and painted, so this truck looks as good underneath as it does on the outside. The beautiful look continues once you open the doors, where you’ll find a custom split bench seat, spotless dash with factory gauges, and an updated AM/FM stereo. When you lift the hood, you’ll find a 350 cubic-inch, high-output GM engine which has been rebuilt and runs as good as new, backed by a 4-speed manual transmission with a creeper gear. All that power is routed through dual exhaust with chrome plated stacks coming through the bed behind the cab cranking out a sound better than any stereo system could ever produce! Out back, you’ll find what is arguably the coolest part of the truck, which comes in the form of a fully functional Holmes 480 split boom wrecker assembly making this truck not only a showpiece, but fully functional as well. Options on this truck include: AM/FM radio, power brakes, power steering, seat belts, cloth interior, and radial tires on custom wheels. Wherever you look, it is evident that no expense was spared with this restoration. To check out this show-quality truck, visit our Detroit showroom, or find us on the web at www.GatewayClassicCars.com to view HD pictures and video. For more information, call our showroom at (313)-982-3100.
