Description:
Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1937 Willys Model 37 in STEEL! You read that right, the body of this is real deal steel! Per our sellers build sheet the vehicle was plucked from California and has less than 2,000 miles on the restoration. The engine is a high performance 355 small block Chevy engine (seller states 400 horsepower) mated to a Muncie 4 speed manual transmission, Lakewood bell housing, and hydraulic performance clutch system. The rear end is a 9 Ford with a 3.73 posi unit installed. The front straight axle was taken from a F-100 and narrowed. Manual 4 wheel disc brakes are on every corner and are more than adequate. Custom side pipes exit nicely and have decent clearance. Lending credit to the California story is an auxiliary radiator mounted underneath the vehicle. It sits just forward of the 20-gallon custom aluminum fuel tank. The air scoop for it can be seen in the last few photos. The front radiator is a custom Bruce Thomas radiator with twin fans. Time and effort was put forth on the seating positions for this steel bodied Willys. This is pretty friendly even if the driver is over 6 foot tall. The gauges work and display coolant temperature, oil pressure, volts, fuel, and RPMs. This 1937 Willys Model 37 is offered by the St. Louis sales staff and can be seen in full detail on our website. Our listing all include 100+ HD photos and a detailed video! GatewayClassicCars.com Video: https://youtu.be/cwSQRaqZFwE

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this super rare 1969 Ford Torino Talladega for sale in our St. Louis showroom. The Talladega was named after the Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama and was only manufactured in the first few weeks of 1969. The sole purpose of this production car was to make Ford even more competitive in NASCAR stock car racing and due to homologation rules had to have enough vehicles available for sale to the general public which was 500 in 1969. It is believed that a total of 754 Talladegas may have been built, although the Talladega/Spoiler Registry can only account for a maximum of 750 and only 258 were finished in Royal Maroon. This number includes all prototypes, pilot cars, and production cars built, plus a special post-production car that was built for the president of Ford Motor Company, Semon Emil Bunkie Knudsen. All of the production Talladegas came equipped with the 428 Ford Cobra Jet V8 backed by the C6 transmission that proved to be very strong and reliable and the only additional option was the AM radio at a retail cost of $61.40. This car has that Marti report showing the production date as 2/18/69 - Four days behind schedule. With such low initial production numbers and being that the car was built for racing there are few of these fine machines left and now is your chance to have one in your very own garage. When was the last time you saw one??? This 1969 Ford Torino Talladega is for sale in our St. Louis Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:
Gateway Classic Cars in Dallas Texas is more than pleased to offer a combination of mean styling and original quality high performance in a 2004 Dodge Ram SRT-10, Viper Pickup! It doesnt get much better than a high output truck that looks better than it did off the factory floor! While Dodge, sadly, wont sell you a new Ram pickup truck with the new Vipers engine in it, the same insane spirit that brought us a V10 pickup truck lives on. Now, its simply called a Hellcat. We cant help see a common thread of insanity drawn between it and the Hellcats of today. The Ram SRT-10 was the first Hellcat. Think about it. You have a relatively pedestrian vehicle being given not just a more powerful engine but one that was ridiculously powerful. It was great at burnouts and wasnt really meant for the corners, but it was also so cool. After all, the Ram SRT-10 was a Viper-powered pickup truck with a six-speed manual transmission. Even people who dont like pickup trucks like that. A spectacularly Silver, Ram 1500 pickup with a ground-pounding 8.3 liter, 500 horse, V-10 Viper motor! Plus, add a T56, 6-speed manual transmission and this ship is set to sail! And, if youre the type that has to have something more, how about air conditioning, Upgraded touchscreen Radio with awesome sound system, cruise control, Android Auto, power brakes, power steering, power locks, anti-lock brakes, Tilt wheel, Keyless entry, power mirrors, leather interior and a bunch of other stuff! This 2 Owner Clean Carfax Truck has 24,000 Miles and is stunningly clean. Seldom do you find a first year Ram SRT-10 in such beloved condition, babied throughout its life and hardly ever opened up on the road to show its true potential! So, the next time you drive your tow vehicle to the track and race your tow vehicle at the track, you can do that with this awesome truck! However, you better be faster than this truck when responding to this announcement. Because, while you are reading this promo on our newest listing, so are thousands of other people all over the world! Pick up your cell phone and call Gateway Classic Cars in Dallas, now! Description:
Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 2001 Chevrolet Camaro Intimidator SS #10 w/T-Tops! Some history. Dale Earnhardt is a NASCAR Legend. With 76 career wins, finished in the top 10 in 20 of his 22 seasons, and won 7 season championships! Its easy to see how he was nicknamed the Intimidator. Naturally racing was in his blood, his father Ralph was a legend of his own and they both had an affinity for Camaros. In the summer of 1987 after another victorious season Dale opened his own Chevy dealership in Newton, North Carolina. Fast forward to 2000 Dale wanted to develop a car that could help take down the mighty mustang, and so the Intimidator was born. Coupling special legacy design cues, performance enhancements, and limited production, this SS is an instant collectible. The performance division at Chevrolet squeezed out another ~50hp raising the stock 335 to 381hp. Largely attributed to the specialized enhanced exhaust system with chambered mufflers and stainless tips. Other features include enhanced intake tract w/carbon fiber air-box, specific, ECM calibration, six speed manual transmission with specific Hurst Shifter. The white knob on the shifter was selected to mimic his Nascar Monte Carlo SS. Also she has a 3.73 gear ratio with positraction differential. She has revised progressive-rate front and rear springs, 4-wheel power disc brakes with ball-milled rotors. 17x9.5 American Racing 200S alloy wheels with Magnetallic Grey spokes, a tribute to the Trans Am Series Camaros of the late 60s. Exterior styling cues were selected from camaros and corvettes to make this one truly unique model. To get one you had to go to the dealer, buy/order an SS camaro and then have it sent back to Chevy to have the ~$12k package installed. 83 models were made for the public outside of the 2 prototypes making a round 85. Dale planned to personally sign the instrument cluster of all 83 but on February 18, 2001 at Daytona International Speedway he lost his life in a tragic accident. At that time Dale had only signed 33 of the cars, leaving the majority, 51 unsigned. (That totals 84, but #13 was left out due to Dales superstition). The one before you is a beautiful example with only 18k miles elapsed. She is #10 and she does bear Dales signature. The exterior paint looks sharp and the black leather interior looks hardly used. The iconic LS1 5.7L V8 rocking the 381hp lies in wait under the hood. The 6-speed manual gearbox shifts smooth and is a blast to drive. Current owner acquired her new from Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet, making her a 1-owner. The certificate of origin is included with the car. Also included is, a copy of Hot Rodding Magazine with the Intimidator SS featured, an original Intimidator SS brochure, and the car cover. The Carfax is clean with no accidents! These cars dont come up for sale often, dont miss your chance to have this legendary Intimidator SS! Options include: A/C, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows/Locks/Seat, T-Wheel, Cruise Control, AM/FM/CD Radio, Seat Belts, Custom Wheels, and Radial Tires. This 2001 Chevrolet Camaro Intimidator SS is offered by our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to offer for sale, on consignment, this super cool 1946 Nash Ambassador. The owner of this Nash was bitten by the modification bug and as a result this car has some pretty cool features. Starting with the power plant, we have a rebuilt 354 cubic inch Hemi V8 when introduced in 1956, was capable of producing 280hp. When equipped with a bigger carburetor and a different camshaft it was pushing out 355hp which was unheard of back in those days. The Hemi in this car is fully dressed in polished accessories and bolt on performance parts. The engine is matched to a 3 speed automatic transmission and power is transferred to a Lincoln independent rear suspension with 3:50 gears. Up front is a Mustang type front end which helps this big car handle much better than the factory setup. The new interior is tastefully updated with power leather bucket seats and a matching leather bench seat for the back. Power brakes and power steering help to make the driving experience comfortable and easy. There is an AM radio, a working clock and working gauges to keep you informed. The real joy from this car happens once you get behind the wheel, it is a great cruiser with ample power and a great sound from the custom exhaust. Enjoy the photos and video we shot and thank you for your interest in this one of a kind car!

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to present a collection of gas dragsters Gassers in our Indianapolis showroom. This one, Morris Monster a 1958 Morris Minor based A/Gas dragster, is powered by a big block 454 Chevrolet fed by dual four barrel carburetors on a tunnel ram intake driving through a manual valve body TH400 transmission. Beautiful blue custom metallic paint really makes this handmade Gasser pop in the sun. Here is some history for those who would like background on this exciting style of dragster. The term Gasser refers to a style of drag race car that was prolific in the late 1950s through the 1960s that ran on gasoline as fuel, as opposed to race fuel. These cars typically competed in heads up drag races that were classed by engine size and car weight. In the faster classes the cars used a straight axle front suspension that produced the intimidating stance that gassers are known for. Easily recognized by common features like the higher front end stance that was developed as a means of weight transfer to the rear wheels for traction, this style became popular later as builders attempted to achieve a traditional or nostalgic race look. These cars became fan favorites as the well-known racers began to run grudge matches for higher purses. In no time these matches were the top billing at many shows due to the crowd entertainment factor. Gassers were the top drag racing classes in the period that is now referred to as the gasser war years, which ranged from 1955 through 1968.In addition to the straight axle, most gassers also sported Halibrand wheels, no front bumper, and had a front mounted Moon tank. The gasser form was dictated by function and most builders looked to eliminate as much weight as possible. Having their exhaust pipes exit through the front fender to shorten the length of exhaust tubing is another common characteristic of gassers. Builders used 1930s through 1950s production coupes or sedans to create these highly modified racing vehicles. Late model cars were not allowed in the Gas classes until 1967, and the gas classes were totally eliminated by NHRA in 1972. They run today all over the United States and down under in Australia and New Zealand in vintage and nostalgia drags. To view this gas dragster, please visit our site at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call 317-688-1100, or email us at indy@gatewayclassiccars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Indianapolis is proud to present this beautiful Pheasant Red 1947 Ford Super Deluxe Convertible. The 1947 Ford line was similar to the short 1946. Visual differences included the removal of the red accents from the grill and the two small lights located just above it. Ford began titling 1947s in February 1947. For the first few weeks, the 1947 model was identical to the 1946. Ford then restyled the body slightly first by moving the parking lights from above the grill to below each headlight. Exterior moldings were changed from grooved to a smooth design. A new hood ornament with a blue plastic insert was installed. A new hubcap design became available in March. The interior dash color was changed from red accent to gold. By September, the roof-mounted antenna was moved to the cowl. Horns were moved to in front of the radiator from the engine compartment. The final 1947 models were titled in November. In the 1984 film The Karate Kid, Mr Miyagi gives Daniel Larusso a cream-colored 1947 Ford Super DeLuxe convertible as a birthday gift. Powered by a flathead Ford V8 under the hood which is mated to a manual 3 speed transmission on the steering column, also known as a 3 on the tree.
