This rare and unusual 1963 Buick Special Deluxe station wagon deserves more than a quick glance and is now available for sale at our Milwaukee Showroom here at a Gateway Classic Cars. Only 8771 of this model were produced in 1963, and few remain. The body of this sweet wagon is from Tempe Arizona and is totally rust free. It sports about 90% of its original Fawn Mist metallic paint (PATINA, PATINA, PATINA) with only minor touch ups. The exterior is the only part of this wagon that is original. The interior has been updated with period correct Buick Skylark bucket seats recovered in a complimentary beige vinyl and a Buick center console with tach. The list of upgrades is extensive! The entire suspension has been reworked with a custom Mustang II front end using rack and pinion steering and tubular upper and lower A arms. The modified rear suspension is complete with a 4 link 9 inch Ford differential with Strange center section sporting a Truetrac posi and 3:55 gears. The body is supported by Ridetech Shockwave completely digital Pro Ride air and auto levelling system mounted in the original spare tire area, best of all, it can be controlled by a smartphone. Stopping power is provided by 13 inch Wilwood 4 wheel disk brakes using slotted and drilled rotors. The original Buick engine has been replaced with a 1987 Buick Grand National V6 motor that is fuel injected, turbo charged and intercooled. The engine is powered through a built GM 200R4 automatic transmission with deep pan. As you would expect, the exhaust is a full custom 3 inch? stainless steel system front to back with polished Magna Flow muffler. The wagon rides on 19 inch TSW alloy wheels with GNX centercaps and new Continental low profile radials. This 1993 Mazda RX7 Turbo is for sale in our Houston Showroom. The Rotary engine was revolutionary for its time, and what many people thought would be the direction of the automotive industry. Like many new things they just did not quite catch on but there were some neat Mazdas that would take advantage of these high revving high horse power engines. The 93 RX7 turbo is the one that most remember. With a 14 second quarter mile time they were Rockets straight out of the box. This black beast is a great example why so many have fell in love with these tuner classics.
