Description:
Gateway Classic Cars is stoked in presenting this white 1984 Pontiac Trans Am in the Milwaukee Showroom. Starting in 1982, remodeling came about to the Camaro and the Firebird/Trans Ams that shouted to a more modern look to an already reputable and affordable sports car in the GM lineup. The Trans Am took off after 1982 following the TV show Knight Rider making us all fall in love with the futuristic car persona that was Kitt Karr. One look at the cars boxy yet aerodynamic body lines was a step forward in fueling the popularity of the 3rd generation body style and would help the progression of different sub models populate production. This Trans Am came as a well optioned car being that it had the 5.0-liter high output V8 engine sitting under the hood, which still has the snorkel tube that does tot the hood induction still miraculously intact. Bolted to the small block, there is a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission transferring power to the rear tires while offering good highway manners being that it has electronic overdrive. When you open the door to this beauty, it will be noticed that this car comes equipped with highly desirable Recaro seats that have been reconditioned and look as awesome as the day they were manufactured. This car comes loaded with an aftermarket radio deck with a CD player, power steering, power brakes, power windows and power door locks. And finally, the Trans Am sports a set of T-Tops for when the weather permits and youre wanting to enjoy a beautiful summer day. The time is now to make a move on this gorgeous 3rd gen. Dont let it slip through your fingers! This 1984 Pontiac Trans Am is at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in person, it can be seen at our Milwaukee Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144. Any and all questions can be answered by our knowledgeable staff by calling (262) 891-4253 or email us at Milwaukee@GatewayClassicCars.com.

Description:
Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is pleased to present this spunky blue 1968 Austin Healey Sprite Mark IV for sale. This is a true one-owner vehicle: its titled owner purchased the car new, for his wife back in July of 1968, and it has been theirs since. It still has its original body panels, engine, and transmission; so, given its single owner history, it is very likely that the odometer mileage is actual (but we cant assert that claim without 100% documentation). This car is what many would refer to as a survivor - its unrestored, but has been painted within the last couple years, primarily to freshen it up a bit (not to restore it), as well as had both the engine and transmission rebuilt at that time. This Sprite is a Mark IV, which shares its platform with the MG Midget MkIII. Not surprising, since the Sprite was manufactured at the MG factory in Abingdon, UK. At first glance, one may think that this is an MG Midget, but upon closer inspection, its definitely a Healey. Its bright blue exterior is offset nicely by the black synthetic leather interior seating and carpet, which are in good condition. The 1275CC I-4 engine in the 1968 model has about 10% more power vs. the previous generations output (65HP vs 59HP), so the Mark IV was certainly the sprightliest of the Sprites at its introduction. Originally, these Sprites had a 0-60MPH time of about 20 seconds, but the Mark IVs time dropped tremendously, all the way down to 13 seconds. In the event youve noticed that we dont show photos of it with the top up, its owner has provided the fabric for the convertible top, stating needs new top installed - included in trunk; so, all its new owner needs to do is have the fabric top installed on the convertible frame. Overall, this 1968 Austin Healey Sprite seems like a great starter for your vintage very own British Motorsports Museum or use it as a fun top down weekend runabout, since its radial tires have plenty of tread left! For more information on this 1968 Austin Healey Sprite, to see all the HD pictures and videos of it, copy the URL below, and see it at this direct link: https://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/show/HOU/2098 . Description:
Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer this awesome T-Bucket! This one is obviously based on a much older vehicle but is titled as a 1969. This one is powered by a powerful 350 CID V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission for a smooth and punchy driving experience. Safety is enhanced with the addition of seat belts which helps make this car a little less scary to drive. This one is in great shape and ready to hit the road or the strip! The T-Bucket is a hot rod based on a Ford Model T which was made from the 1915 to 1927 era. However, they are typically excessive modified from their factory form. These were favorites among greasers. A youth subculture popularized in the late 1940s and the 50s. The word greaser originated in the 19th century in the United States as a derogatory label for poor laborers. The term was later used to refer to mechanics. It wasnt used in writing to refer to the American subculture of the mid-20th century until the mid-1960s, though in this sense it still evoked a pejorative connotation and a relation to machine work. The name was applied to members of the subculture because of their characteristic greased-back hair. T-Bucket was specifically created and named by Norm Grabowski in the 50s. Hid car was named the Lightning Bug, better known as the Kookie Kar, after being redesigned by Grabowski and appearing in the TV show 77 Sunset Strip, driven by character Gerald “Kookie” Kookson. The exposure it gained led to numerous copies being built. Since the last Model Ts were built in 1927, most modern T-buckets use replica fiberglass bodies. By the 1950s, original steel Model T bodies that had not been completely worn out were becoming increasingly hard to find and in 1957 the first fiberglass T-Bucket body (based on the 1923 version) was introduced by the short-lived Diablo Speed Shop in Northern California. Of the only two or three bodies built by Diablo, one was purchased by Southern California hot rod builder Buzz Pitzen and became the worlds first fiberglass T-bucket. This T-Bucket is in our Houston showroom. Come by and see us at 1910 Cypress Station Dr #200, Houston, TX 77090. You can contact the showroom at (832)243-6220 or email the at Houston@GatewayClassicCars.com

Description:
This meticulously maintained and original Colorado car had a complete engine rebuild just over 1,400 miles ago and the transmission rebuilt just under 10,000 miles ago! Only 566 were built in 1973. 1973 was the 5th year that Cadillac was chosen as pace car through out the years. And this was the second time ever that a front-wheel drive car was leading the pack of race cars down the start lap, the first front-wheel drive pace car was a Cord some time in the 30s. And this was up to 1973 the most powerful pace car ever! The sheer weight of the Eldorado convertible forced the Cadillac engineers to take some measures to allow the car to reach the high speeds needed. The 8.2 liter 500 CID engine was tweaked. The smog control equipment and A/C had been removed. A new crank was installed as was specially forged pistons and a dual exhaust system, even the bumpers were replaced with polished aluminum instead of steel. And there were actually a second spare car supplied by the factory, just incase that something happened to the first. Both pace cars also had hood pins to secure the hood/bonnet as well as the flag pole mounts in the rear. Interestingly enough both cars survived the ordeal and one was actually converted back to a normal Eldorado convertible before being sold to the public. The other of the two actual pace cars was used for numerous testing purposes at the GM/Cadillac plant, for instance for testing rims and tires for the new generation of Chevrolet Corvette that was introduced in 1984. That car is said to have been scrapped and buried somewhere at a test facilities.. Besides the two actual pace cars and the 53 track convertibles, there were a number of coupe devilles, two sedan devilles and even a Fleetwood used during the race week. To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures please visit http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/DEN/113/1973-Cadillac-Eldorado-Pace-Car-Replica or our Denver showroom. The El Camino is a coupé utility vehicle that was produced by Chevrolet between 1959–60 and 1964–1987. Gateway Classic Cars is excited to welcome a 2002 Ford Mustang GT located in our Philadelphia showroom. This two-owner car with only 18,000 original miles gets an extra boost from a Vortech Supercharger. The 4.6 with manual transmission is also equipped with a high-performance H-pipe, long tube headers, a cobra fuel pump and 42 lb injectors. The car has a SCT tune and is producing 385 RWHP. On the outside a custom Black paint job is blazing before your eyes engulfing the front end of this Mustang as it cuts through the flames and powers down the highway. The car has Cobra r style wheels all around. Inside the A pillar gauges give you the cockpit feel while monitoring the vitals. The seats have been treated to a Cobra like suede insert treatment that looks like they came from the factory and really set off the interior. Of course, since it is a 2002 Mustang GT it is also equipped with power steering, brakes, windows, locks a killer stereo and tilt wheel. The 2002 Mustang GT was a great car from the factory and the improvements to this one really takes the performance to a whole new level without compromising the drivability. Gateway Classic Cars of Las Vegas is proud to present this 2004 Cadillac XLR for sale in our Las Vegas Showroom. Cadillac has always been known for leading the way in the American-made luxury car market and has done so since its beginning in 1902. Going through somewhat of a slump in the late 90s a brand overhaul was ordered by parent company GM. The XLR brought Cadillac firmly into the new age of motoring with its innovative hardtop convertible roof, which would be copied by many other manufacturers. With the top up its a sleek coupe and with the top down its a sexy boulevard cruiser. While definitely more aggressive and cutting edge than anything Cadillac had done before, the XLR retains all the luxury and comfort that Cadillac is known for. With only 15,000 being built over an 8-year span there is no reason why these should not begin to start gaining value. The 4.6 NorthStar engine along with a long list of options on this 2004 Cadillac XLR Hardtop Convertible include; AM/FM Radio with CD player, GPS, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Windows, Anti-Lock Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Keyless Entry, Seat Belts, Driver and Passenger Airbags, Anti-Theft System, Leather Interior, Powered Convertible Hardtop, Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 2004 Cadillac XLR is for sale in our Las Vegas showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:
For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a rarely seen Corvette Yellow 1978 Chevrolet Corvette. I say rarely seen because the Corvette Yellow was the least produced color in 1978 at 1,243 units. Compare that to 6,502 of the Indy Pace Car black and silver combination and over 15,000 of the two-tone silver anniversary color combination and package. The Corvette Yellow paint is mostly original, there were areas repainted as part of a warranty claim shortly after its purchase that was performed in 1978. Being 40 years old, the paint does show some age, but the body lines and panels all look very good. The original dark brown leather has also aged very well, with only minor signs of wear over the years. Powering this 3-owner 1978 Corvette is the original 350 CID L48 engine. A few parts were replaced along the way, but great effort was taken to maintain originality, including having the carburetor sent off to be refurbished instead of buying a new one. Also, the valve covers were not painted, in order to preserve the markings made by the assembly line worker the day it was produced. The TH-350 automatic transmission is original to the car and shifts the power down the line beautifully. The odometer reads 48,153, which represents the actual mileage on the car. Options for this 1978 Chevrolet Corvette include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Power Windows, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Leather Interior, Tilt/Telescopic Steering Wheel, T-Tops, Seat Belts, Raised White Letter Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. This is a great example of a surviving 78’ Corvette in a rare color that drives wonderfully. To view this 1978 Chevrolet Corvette in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis showroom. Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is thrilled to present this blast-from-the-past 1985 Porsche 944 in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. These 944’s were the successor of the famous 924 and all the rage in the 80’s. Indeed, these cars are still sought after by Porsche enthusiasts the world over. Of course, Porsche is still most well-recognized for their air-cooled, rear-engined cars but this 944 has a front-engine 2.5l 4 cylinder tied to a fun-loving 5-speed manual transmission that will provide endless entertainment on quiet, country roads. Our Porsche 944 for sale comes in an eye-catching Cherry Red exterior paintjob with a Black leather interior which will remind you that you are in a high-end car built in Germany that cost the equivalent of $50,000 in today’s dollars when it was on showroom floors in 1985. This low-mileage Porsche (just over 42,000 actual, according to the seller) will create a lot of memories for its next loving owner. This 1985 Porsche 944 for sale right now includes the following options: Air Conditioning, Targa-Top (1 piece removable hardtop), Power Seats, Power Sunroof, Anti-Lock Brakes, Aftermarket LED Headlights and my personal favorite the neon lights that the seller has installed under the car, which are sure to light up any car show. You will love pumping your favorite tunes in this German coupe with the aftermarket Pioneer Stereo system installed in the dash linked up to the booming two 12†Infinity subwoofers in the trunk. Description:
Now up for grabs at Gateway Classic Cars in our Houston location is this very rare 1972 Mercedes Benz 350sl. 1971 marked the beginning of the now famous and highly sought after R107 chassis 2-seat convertible roadster. This line of the model started as 350SL coupes in 1971 with a 3.5L V8, but in 1972 they upgraded to the much more powerful and reliable 4.5L V8 but this is where this cars rarity comes into play, only for 72’ was the car denoted as a 350SL but was outfitted with the larger 4.5L V8. In 1973 they shifted the name to 450SL to fall in line with the engine liter size, just as they do today in their new cars. Since it was a new model to the brand at the time the production numbers weren’t that high thus adding to these early models appreciation value. There are not many on the market for sale in this condition as many suffer from rust issues. The car is outfitted with a strong running 4.5L V8 that utilizes the reliable Bosch D Jetronic fuel injection electronic engine management system. With less than 115k actual miles on the car the power plant has plenty of life in her. The V8 is paired to a smooth shifting 3-speed automatic transmission that provides enough acceleration power but also gives a nice driving experience that the SL line is so well known for. The drive train seems solid from front to back and the car is fun to drive. Looking at the car drive by you’ll be drawn in by the very recent & refreshed new paint job. It was repainted back to its original color and it came out very well. The body panels are appear to be original to the car. The doors open & close with ease and the body panel gaps align & are even. Of course, this is almost a 50-year-old car that is mostly original. It isn’t a concourse car, but still shows well. The light lenses & their houses are in a great shape with no cracks. The grill, bumpers, & emblems are in very nice condition. Stepping into the driver’s seat you will find a very nice saddle colored interior that looks great & has been partially refreshed with new seats. The door panels, carpet, rear deck area, headliner, & dash are in superb condition for 46 years old. The owner was going to update the center console vent controls with a later model, but wanted to keep the car original in case the new owner would prefer that. The seats are very comfortable and soft to the touch. The interior just allows you to slip in and enjoy your time cruising around town. While you are zooming around the city the owner installed an aftermarket radio & speakers. The convertible top is new and operates with ease. The top is in very nice condition with no tears or rips, the plastic in the back is clear and generally looks great against the black body & saddle colored interior. The car has been well maintained and garage kept for most of its life. There has been several updated and replaced items on the car. Looking at the engine bay you will see a very clean and tidy area that has many items in very new & nice condition. Coolant hoses, brake master cylinder, spark plug wires & ignition parts, fuel pump, exhaust, & many other noticeable items have been maintained/serviced. The car is rust free and will only go up in value as these classic Mercedes SL’s become rarer every day. Don’t miss your chance to get a piece of history and call us with an offer today!
