The E-body coupes were converted to unibody construction and further downsized for 1986 to a 108 in wheelbase similar in length to that of the Buick Regal. The V6 was now the only engine, rated initially at 142 hp and 200lb ft of torque. It used the Turbo-Hydramatic 440-T4 automatic with a 2.84:1 final drive ratio. This generation was noted for advanced electronic instrumentation displayed on a dash-mounted 9-inch CRT. The CRT controlled the vehicles climate control system and stereo, and also supplied advanced instrumentation such as a trip computer and maintenance reminder feature. Four-wheel disc brakes were standard. With a choice of three suspension packages available, up to the performance-oriented FE3 setting, handling was notably improved. The Riviera placed fourth for Motor Trends 1986 Car of the Year contest. Inside the car is a beautiful and very comfortable velour interior. Manufactured in Phoenix Arizona, Titan bikes were one of the first custom builders to produce large volumes of motorcycles with a valid VIN. They offered an alternative to the big companies for those that wanted an American made V-Twin motorcycle with plenty of chrome. This particular Titan features a screaming 113 CI S&S; V-Twin. This Twin packs plenty of grunt down low as well as plenty of horsepower higher in the rev range. This one has a 5 speed transmission which shifts smoothly. The pipes on this Gecko are pretty open, so people will hear you coming. Of course it has a healthy helping of chrome all around from the forks to the tail light. For sale in our Tampa showroom is this time capsule of a 1990 Oldsmobile Toronado Trofeo. In the mid of -1987, Oldsmobile attempted to bolster sagging Toronado sales by introducing a sportier model called the Trofo, which boasted standard leather bucket seats, faux dual exhaust, more-aggressive styling, and a stiffer suspension (the highly regarded corporate FE3 package, with retuned shocks, struts and other components). The 1989 Trofo, which was no longer badged externally as a Toronado, could be ordered with the Visual Information Center: a dash mounted touch-screen CRT that controlled the vehicles thermostat and radio and also supplied advanced instrumentation such as a trip computer. The VIC could also serve as the interface to an in-car hands-free cell phone. Trofo also received standard anti-lock brakes and a new steering wheel that featured buttons for radio and climate controls. Toronados now had standard bucket seats with console, although the split-bench seat was still offered as an option. 1990 saw Oldsmobile literally and figuratively going to great lengths to revive Toronado and Trofo sales. The hood was the only carry over sheet metal as Olds designers completely redesigned the body, particularly in the rear, increasing the overall length by about 12 in (305 mm). This 1990 Oldsmobile Toronado Trofeo has the original burgundy paint and matching interior. Powered by the 3800 V6 this Olds is ready to take you down the road with only 62,131 miles.
