Description:

Our St Louis Showroom is proud to offer for sale this very special 1951 Ford F1. This truck is a one of a kind build with a one of a kind story. Built with funding from dozens of donations and the vision of a boy with a dream, this hotrod came to life in a big way. Many people and teams that came together to lend a hand on this build and the outcome is fantastic. Washtenaw Community College took on most of the challenge and had help from the Ford Motor Companys prototype division to supply the drivetrain. Whats under the hood is a long story by itself but we will highlight a few of the major details. The engine was built by Ford Motor Companys prototype division and is an absolute monster. Originally, Ford used this engine and rear end in a Crown Victoria police interceptor to run the Cannon ball “Lap of America. It is a 4.6L 4 valve Cobra engine with a kenne-Bell supercharger. While the prototype division of ford wont release detailed build information on this truck, it is said to be pumping out over 600 horsepower. Washtenaw college nailed it with the fit and finish of the bodywork. Everyone knows that black paint shows every flaw but these builders werent scared to show off their craftsmanship. The body panels are mirrorlike and show extremely well. The black paint has one of the deepest shines we have seen on a vehicle to date and it has been sanded and buffed to be smooth as glass. Underneath the truck is just as clean as the top side. If you crawl under there, you will find that this truck has tons of suspension goodies to help it handle the road and put down the power from the behemoth under the hood. The 8.8 rear end is suspended with a 4 link and coilovers set up that helps it track straight and handle the corners. Up front is a double wishbone setup with a power steering rack from the crown vic cop car. All of this means that this 51 ford pickup handles like a sports car and will surely put a mile on your face. There really is a heart warming story to be told here and this truck is ready for its next chapter. Give us a call today with any specific questions and be sure to look at every photo because there are tons of details that need to be seen. This 1951 Ford F1 pickup can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD Pictures and an HD video at gatewayclassiccars.com. Now for sale at Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is the beautiful 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Convertible. This classic beauty was restored by Jerry Miller of Jerrys Classic Cars back in 2014 and remains in great shape. The car went through an exhausting restoration with photos to show it was thoroughly gone through. With over $72,000 in receipts the amount of replacement parts, re-chroming, and rebuilding of components is endless. Some of the items just to name a few include: New heater core, exhaust system, new carpet, rebuilt wiper motor, new fuel tank, new radiator and rebuilt rear end. This a clean car and worth seeing in person. With nearly all the internals either replace or rebuilt, this classic piece of history runs like a top notch machine. The car is painted a soft Willow green throughout the exterior and accented on the inside. With a clean set of wire wheels and white wall tires, this car pops at any car show you decide to take it too. For sale in our Chicago showroom is this One of a kind Shelby Can Am. Only 74 ever produced and less than 40 remain. Powered by a 255hp Dodge V6 specially produced by Chrysler for Shelby. Chassis and transmission built to handle 500hp. These cars were known to be fast, fun and safe. They were originally built as an inexpensive way to get into racing. All cars were identically set up with sealed engines as to focus on driver ability. They were raced in SCCA series from 1991-1996. Many of the drivers went on to have successful pro. careers. Today most are raced in Vintage racing. What makes this car special is that its one of only four ever built at the Shelby factory. All others were sold in kit form. This car was purchased direct from Shelby and immediately placed in storage. It has never been raced!! The Shelby Can-Am was developed by automotive legend Carroll Shelby for the Sports Car Club of America. Shelby had ambitions to bring back the Can Am race creating a level playing field resulting in the best driver winning. When these cars were bought they were shipped in pieces that would then have to be put together by the new owner. This specific Can AM is supposedly 1 of only 4 that were put together by Shelby America. In the ealry 2000s 28 were bought and shipped over to South Africa to continue racing. The select few in Africa received new bodies and other upgrades reducing the originality of the cars. This particular one never saw time racing on the track resulting in a clean unabused engine and chassis. It was marketed as an equal opportunity race car, with the strict proviso that no further modifications to the car are permitted. Cockpit provides on-board diagnostic check for engine management, and the pedal system and steering column are adjustable for driver comfort. MIG welded super strong steel space frame supports a-arm front suspension. Aluminum crush box riveted to frame protects drivers feet. Description:

For sale in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom is a 2014 Ford Mustang Boss 302S. Most auto enthusiasts know that Ford offered its modern rendition of the Boss 302 Mustang during the 2012 and 2013 model years. But less known is the fact that the race-bred Boss 302S continued as a 2014 model. Offered through Ford Racing, only 50 were built as turn-key, factory-built race cars. They would be the last of the modern Boss 302s. Designed for track days and road racing in a number of SCCA and NASA classes, every 2014 Boss 302S Mustang started life as a body-in-white before delivery to Watson Racing for completion as a track-only vehicle. At Watson, the Boss 302S was equipped with its 5.0-liter Boss 302 engine optimized with racing calibration, T-6060 6-speed transmission, and a Torsen TR2 differential with 3.73:1 gears. Suspension upgrades included 3-way adjustable dampers, caster/camber plates, Ford Racing adjustable sway bars, and tubular lower control arms with extended ball joints and a Derlin bushing kit. Externally, the limited-edition Boss 302S was prepared for competition with a carbon-fiber front splitter, fiberglass hood with air extractors, an adjustable rear wing, and 19-inch wheels. Competition prep also included a quick-release steering wheel, duct kit to cool the Brembo 4-piston brakes, FIA-spec 6-point roll cage, front and rear tow hooks, switch plate with start/ignition, fire-suppression system, window net, master cut-off switch, and 6-point safety harness. In other words, the Boss 302 S was built as a race-ready Mustang from the factory. A red S within the traditional Boss 302 hockey-stick stripes identified the special track-ready model. This Boss 302 S is number 28 of the 50 produced for 2014. In addition to the standard competition components, it is also equipped with the optional Recaro XL drivers seat and Satin Black paint, a $5,995 option. Description:

No available in our Gateway Dallas Showroom is this phenomenal 1959 Chevrolet El Camino, You will be interested in this car, youre getting one of the absolute finest resto-mods weve ever seen, a car that does everything well and offers zero compromises. If you want one of the best El Caminos in existence, dont hesitate here because its even better than its price tag would suggest. The colors look right on the dramatic 59 Chevy shape, although theyre modern finishes: Tectonic Silver with Crystal Claret inserts. Where a lot of modern colors dont look right on vintage iron, this Elky totally nails it with a subtle and sophisticated look that belies the monster living within. Bodywork is exemplary, with nary a flaw to be found on the car without looking with a magnifying glass. Were hesitant to call any car perfect, but even in the pictures you can see that cubic dollars were spent to make this car as close to that ideal as possible. Gaps are even, there are hundreds of hours wrapped up in the block sanding, and the two-stage urethane finish has been buffed to an impossibly high shine. Theres a cool cowl-induction hood and a billet grille, but those seem to be the lone modifications, and on something thats already outrageous looking, its probably best to leave it alone. Of course, the bed was beautifully finished with polished wooden floor boards just to make things interesting and all the chrome, emblems, and lenses were refinished to show standards. This car just sparkles. The burgundy leather interior eschews 1959 and brings it right into the 21st century, starting with a set of comfortable bucket seats and a custom center console. The unmarked seats are as comfortable as anything in showrooms today and the workmanship is again exemplary throughout. A tilt column with a billet steering wheel wrapped in matching red leather makes it easy to get comfortable and all the creature comforts are included: A/C, power windows, power steering, power brakes, and a great-sounding AM/FM/CD stereo hidden out of sight in the console so the dash wasnt cut. Even the gauges were custom made for this car, offering beautiful vintage-looking faces in the same Claret hue. The factory dashboard remains intact, one of the better designs of the period so it was important to keep it, and custom storage space behind the seats is cleverly done. The engine is a thumping 572 cubic inch GM crate motor and its situated in a super sanitary engine bay. Youll note the hoses are very neatly routed and the wiring is out of sight, so all you see is the hardware. Up top theres a Holley double pumper 4-barrel carburetor and a serpentine belt drive system manages the accessories. With 620 horsepower on tap, this Elky is definitely a hauler, but with a big aluminum radiator and electric fan, it stays cool even in traffic. Coated exhaust manifolds feed a custom dual exhaust system with side exits just ahead of the rear wheels, and theres a disc brake at all four corners. The front suspension is augmented with tubular control arms, while a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear end with 3.73 gears and a Posi inside make it an easy cruiser on the highway and a threat on the street. The stance is ideal and those 18-inch Billet Specialties wheels were custom painted to match the car, a very cool look. The engine (and the build) have 1400 proven street miles on them, so its fresh, fresh, fresh and ready to win some shows at just about any level. Weve never seen better, and we bet you havent either. Call today! Be sure to visit our main web page, www.gatewayclassiccars.com where you can view 100+ pictures, and a short video of this amazing car in action. Description:

The Second-Generation Chevrolet Corvette was sold between 1963-1967 and considered by many as the high watermark for the historic brand. 1966 was a significant year in terms of powerplant offerings for the Corvette. The 427 cubic-inch V8 replaced the venerable 396 as the showcased big-block option. While peak horsepower ratings were about the same, the 427 packed 11% more low-end torque. The frontal appearance was mildly altered with an egg crate grille insert to replace the pervious horizontal bars. In addition, Corvettes received an emblem on the corner of the hood and head rests became an option for the first time. This gorgeous Nassau Blue / Dark Blue 1966 Corvette Coupe is fully restored beauty with numbers matching engine and a new transmission. The owner states 1,000 miles since the 427 cid 390 hp V8 enjoyed a complete rebuild and was mated to a new Tremec 5-speed manual transmission. Additional features include knock-off wheels, leather interior, ice-cold aftermarket AC and Wonderbar audio system. If you are looking for a quality restoration that needs nothing, this is the answer. This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe is located at our Milwaukee showroom.
