Gateway Classic Cars of Las Vegas is proud to present this custom 1940 Chevrolet Pickup. The 1941 Chevrolet pickup brought to the General Motors light-truck lineup a new sense of strength in design and engineering. Knowing their products might soon be rolling into World War II probably encouraged truck makers to design stronger, more versatile new models for the early 1940s. This custom has the venerable 350cu engine mated to the TH350 transmission and putting power down with a 88 Camaro 8 1/2 rear-end. Exterior paint is bright and is Mitsubishi Red complimented by a clean beige interior. This little truck shows the attention to detail with extras such as digital dash and keyless entry. Description:

The first-generation six-cylinder Mustang may not be the muscular powerhouse that pony cars evolved into, but it captures precisely what Ford originally intended the Mustang to be: a fun-to-drive sports car that wouldnt break the bank. These days, however, the inline-six pony car is fast becoming a unicorn amid the popularity of both factory-original and V-8-swapped Mustangs. Here is a 1965 Mustang Fastback 2+2, powered by the 200 ci inline 6 cylinder a mated to an automatic transmission. We cant remember the last time we saw a 6 cylinder Fastback Stang, but we always love to see them. The Poppy-Red paints looks stunning under a bright summer sun; and its a nice change of pace from all those bright red 65 Mustangs. The inline-six in the 65 is a pleasure to drive. It generates plenty of torquey power, yet runs smooth and can be tuned to get decent fuel economy. Cornering is a thrill: Instead of going nose-down into a turn like the V-8-powered brute, the nimble six-cylinder Mustang hugs the corners, handling like real pony car.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1933 Plymouth Coupe! This street rod queen was originally built for a SEMA show in 1999. Since then it has passed through a couple sets of caring hands and is presented to you here today! This ride is mostly steel with the exception of fenders and running boards. The teal paint looks good still today, and the interior is accented nicely with purple and teal complements. The engine is a brand spanking new 468 Big Block that makes an astonishing amount of power and was installed in 2021. The owner states the engine went through a 500 mile break in period before putting down a whopping 650hp on the dyno. Backing the monster engine is an automatic 3 speed turbo Herzog transmission. The rear end is built to handle whatever that big block can throw at it. Just under $4,000 was spent on sorting out the rear end in late 2019. Although records are tough to come by this car is said to be a SEMA build from 1999. With the internet in its infancy in 99 it is hard to find much documentation for that, but given how well the build has aged it wouldnt surprise us one bit! All in all this a very nice car that hasnt seen a ton of miles. It was driven enough to be kept alive and is in great shape for someone to drive it around the car show circuit! 1933 Plymouth Coupe is for sale by our St. Louis Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information please call our knowledgeable staff at (618) 271-3000 or email us at STL@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to offer this 1963 Corvette Convertible. This Little Red 63 is a real looker, be the Bright Red paint or the custom front-end she has, with the L88 style hood, the side pipes maybe - or the white top, or the white leather interior. 1963 was the first year Chevrolet came out with the new designed Corvette C2 model and we are excited to have this car here with us in our Atlanta showroom. Our example is powered by a GM crate 350 rated at 350 hp, mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. There are just 1,700 miles on the engine since being installed. The consignor states he purchased her in 2012 and found she had issues with the chassis - and rather than just pass her along - he took the plunge - and did her right! The body was pulled, chassis sand-blasted, repaired and re-welded in areas, then powder coated. It was also the time to add Power Steering and Power Brakes, and why not - Header Side Pipes! This 63 Vette had some custom touches to her nose, and no longer has the headlight doors, and has 4- Halogen lights instead, as well as a 3rd tail light. The interior is in good condition for being 56 years old and shows some wear in the bucket seats, however, the leather seats are not ripped and there are no cracks in the dashboard. Options for this 1963 Vette include; Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt-Wheel, Am/Fm/Cd, Seat Belts, Cragar Wheels, Cooper Cobra P225/70R15, P255/60R15 Raised White Letter Radial Tires. Description:

Up in our Atlanta showroom is this 1-owner 1966 Ford Cobra replica. This Ford Cobra replica rolling chassis was produced by Evorett Morrison and has the classic Shelby look! These cobra replicas are very popular due to the extreme thrill it is to drive one of these cars based on the V-8 engines installed in these light weight chassis. The consignor states he built the car for himself - and based on what he installed - you can tell he had a purpose -to have a strong running - dependable rocket w/ A/C. He started the process in 2009, and had his 460 V8 blue-printed, and machined - added Ford Motorsport Cobra aluminum heads, that were ported and polished, Ford Motorsport ¾ cam, fuel injection added, dyno tested @550-hp, mated to a Mat Carr AOD transmission rated at 850-hp, and a rebuilt Ford 9 posi-traction rear end, w/ 3:55 gears. We did mention he built her to drive - didnt we? She is painted in a metallic red, w/ gold stripes, and matching wheel inserts - he also wanted her to stand out, and she does! This Cobra replica sure shows well, and she also shows some minor patina. Its loud and fast, and ready to roar! This example is showing 320-miles on the odometer. Options on this Ford include; automatic transmission, leather seats, powder coated side pipe exhaust, seat belts, optional convertible top, alloy wheels w/ spinners, Firestone FireHawk SZ50 P245/45ZR17, P285/40ZR17 radial tires. This Cobra replica is ready for the next care giver, open road, and that rumble of a race car and the power under the hood that can set you back in an instant. Its already a favorite in our showroom and wont last long. Come check it out for yourself. To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this 1966 Cobra replica, please visit GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars presents this 2003 Dodge Viper SRT-10. As if the previous Viper weren’t raucous enough, a maximum-strength version–the SRT-10– was introduced for 2003. Although some pieces carry over, much of the new SRT-10 is a clean-sheet redesign. The SRT-10’s foundation employs a heavily revised racing-style chassis replete with fully independent suspension at each corner paired with gargantuan 18×10/19×13-inch forged alloy wheels. A new aluminum space frame increases stiffness over the previous Viper for improved handling and decreased noise/vibration/harshness. The wheelbase has been extended 2.6 inches, yet in overall length, the SRT-10 is 1.1 inches shorter than the RT/10. On the outside, the bodywork is new and edgy. Stealth-Fighter-like panels look to have come straight from Lockheed Martin’s Skunkworks, and the extensive use of carbon fiber and composite panels helps reduce overall vehicle weight by 100 pounds. The bodywork, special under-car belly pan, well-integrated convertible top, and lower hood line team to improve aerodynamics for better high-speed stability. The fresh look is striking, but the big news is under hood: An illuminated starter button brings to life an entirely new 8.3-liter (505 cube) V-10 engine that packs a whopping 500 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of tire-melting fury. Despite having significantly more venom (+50 hp/+35 lb-ft), the power curve is much smoother and wider, which produces a less-violent-feeling engine than before. While the added power is wonderful, the Viper’s biggest improvement is its much-upgraded braking system. Four-piston fixed calipers clamp pizza-size 14-inch rotors (all monitored by ABS), stopping distances have decreased a staggering 80 feet from the previous RT/10’s. The press kit mentions a seven-speaker, 310-watt AM/FM/CD stereo system, but the raspy rumble emanating from the side pipes is all the music we need. The new SRT-10 is a significant improvement over the previous offering. The SRT-10 remains a world-class sports car that’ll gladly ram horns with all competitors. To view this 2003 Dodge Viper SRT-10 in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. The interior sports a pair of comfortable and supportive reupholstered Mustang Gen 1 bucket seats, as well as a custom center console which houses two chrome finished cupholders and a Marine Rockford Fosgate Audio head unit, along with easy to use but vintage feeling HVAC controls, and two easy to read gauge clusters above the steering wheel, which also feels period correct and harmoniously blends with the interiors overall theme. The Upholstery itself is a combination of a tight mesh vinyl and grey leatherette, and the floor pan is finished in a handsome tight weave carpet. The bodywork on this truck is also stunning, from the custom rear bed with nicely finished wood and chrome slats, to the flush chromed gas cap conceal on the truck bed floor, to the engine bay detail and finish level. Mechanically, this truck is ready to rock and roll, being equipped with a 350 Chevrolet motor mated to a 700 R4 transmission running out to a 2004 Explorer rear end with a 373 gear ratio. It has many modern amenities including Air Conditioning, Wilwood Power Brakes, Am/FM radio, seat belts, wide white walls radial tires, tilt wheel, power steering, a battery kill switch, and Posi Traction. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Dallas is proud to present a Fully Frame off restored award show winning 1941 Mercury Eight 19A Convertible. Just two years after its debut, Mercury was doing its job as the bridge between the entry-level Ford and the upper crust Lincoln-Zephyr. Finished in a Striking Silver, the droptops paint and trim are in overall very good order. The Black, folding canvas top is in very good shape, the engine bay is tidy, the cargo area with the full-size spare tire is in very good order and the chrome bumpers look great. the car has a drivers side spotlight. This convertible rolls on wide whitewall tires topped with factory wheel covers. The tires and wheel covers are in overall very good order. Under the hood is Mercurys 239 CID Flathead V-8 with original running gear, Backing up this motor are a three-speed manual transmission and a 3.54:1 rear end. Inside is red seats with white trim are in overall great condition, as is the carpet and white, two-spoke steering wheel. The metal instrument panel and inner door liners are in order. The factory AM radio at the top of the dash accents the interior well and has been internally upgraded to AM and FM with a better speaker. The 1941 Mercury Eight got all-new styling and some engineering improvements. The Mercury now shared its bodyshell with Ford, probably to lower Mercury production costs. Mercurys wheelbase was expanded by two to 118 inches. There were many chassis refinements, including improved spring lengths, rates, and deflections, plus changes in shackling, shocks, and an improved stabilizer bar, but the old-fashioned transverse springs were still used. The new body featured door bottoms that flared out over the running boards, allowing for wider seats and interiors. The car had two inches more headroom, two-piece front fenders (three-piece at first), and more glass area. The front pillars were made slimmer and the windshield was widened, deepened, and angled more steeply. Parking lights were separate and set atop the fenders for greater visibility. Headlight bezels were redesigned. In all closed Mercurys the rear-quarter windows opened out. Front vent wings were now crank-operated, and enclosed, cars the ventilation wing support bars rolled down with the windows. The four-door convertible, offered in 1940, was gone, but a station wagon was added. The Woodie wagons body behind the engine cowl was identical to Fords and produced at the companys Iron Mountain plant in Michigans Upper Peninsula. The “Eight script was moved to the rear of the hood. 90,556 Mercury Eights were sold in the 1941 model year. Convertible competition to this Mercury in 1941 included Buicks Super Eight, Chryslers New Yorker, Dodges Custom, Oldsmobiles 98, Pontiacs Deluxe Torpedo Eight. Pre-World War II car fans, those who favor Mercurys over Ford or collectors who like something seldom seen should visit Gateway Classic Cars Dallas to review this Mercury Eight Convertible. Like the Roman god for which the marque is named, we predict this car wont linger long. VIN: 99A455079 Current mileage on the odometer shows 7954 miles, which is since full frame off restoration. It is sold as-is, where is, on a clean and clear, mileage exempt title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!! 817-310-9400 Dallas@GatewayClassicCars.com
