Description:

Now available at our PHILLY location is this beautiful 2006 Hertz Mustang GT. This retired rent-a-racer racked up just 9600 miles before being retired from rental duty. It now has 9859 total miles making it one of the lowest mileage Hertz cars that we have seen. There was a time in the late 1960s when $17/day would put you behind the wheel of a genuine Shelby GT350H.They were available at select locations across the country. There are endless tales of GT350H’s returning to the rental lots with worn tires, roll bar mounts or holes in the floor, even entirely different engines. It’s hard to say how many of those stories are true but the cars became known as Rent-A-Racers. The name stuck and the cars that survived their rental duties intact are worth a mint today. To commemorate these legendary cars, Shelby created the 2006 GT-H. Number 222 of just 500 produced. It still has the original Pirelli Zero Nero tires with 7-8 32nds tread remaining. They are practically new. The 2006 Mustang GT-H is sure to follow in the footsteps of the GT350H.and climb in value as years’ pass. If you missed out owning one of the first Hertz cars, don’t miss your chance at redemption! This vehicle also includes the Shelby dash plate. Indicating that this is number 222. It has never been installed on the car as the original vinyl version is still in place. Also included is the matching Shelby key tag with car id. This car also has the optional Sirius tuner with Hertz logo. Lift the hood and you’ll find one Ford’s venerable 4.6L modular motors. As a 2006 model, this is the 24V SOHC equipped with variable camshaft timing. These engines turned out a respectable 300hp in stock trim but, of course, nothing leaves Shelby without upgrades. For the GT-H, that comes in the form of a Ford Racing Power Pack. First, the ECU is flashed for a more aggressive timing curve. Next, breathing is made easy through a 90mm cold air intake, free-flowing mufflers and an X-pipe that replaces the more restrictive H-pipe. The upgrades add roughly 25hp and 10lb. ft. of torque. The engine fires up with ease and sounds killer through the revised exhaust system. To view this 2006 Ford Mustang in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to present for sale, on consignment this amazing 1962 Lotus Super 7 kit car by R Motorsport, Ltd, dubbed the Diva Roadster. Paying homage to the Lotus Seven from the 60s, there were improvements made to the chassis design, suspension, safety and comfort features. Most notable is the fact that they ditched the inline 4 cylinder engine for something a little bit more robust. A freshly rebuilt Chevrolet LS1 provides a little more punch, while the 4L60E, 4 speed automatic transmission transfers the power to a Ford 8.8 rear end that houses 3:73 gears. Pull the quick release steering wheel and ease down into the drivers seat, take a look at the classic flat dash with AutoMeter speedometer, tachometer, oil pressure, water temp, voltage and fuel gauges. 4 wheel disc brakes sit inside a set of Vintage Wheel Works V60 wrapped in BF Goodrich G Force Comp 2 tires, size 245/45/17 in the front and 275/40/17 in the rear. Luxury comes by way of power steering and brakes and safety comes by way of seat belts (helmet optional). A book full of records, receipts and build instructions will be included with the vehicle. You may not know if an open air, open wheel, street legal track car is your thing until you get behind the wheel of one and thats where the obsession begins. This roadster is ready to tear up the streets or the track, call today to learn about the purchase process!

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1971 Jaguar XK-E Convertible. Theres a lot to love about the classic Jaguar styling, and it comes to life in this gorgeous car! Under the bonnet or hood of this particular 1971 Jaguar XK-E Convertible is an in-line 6-cylinder engine sending power to a 4-speed manual transmission. Owner states it is a numbers matching drivetrain. Few things feel more natural out on the road than a British sports car and three pedals! This car is not concourse, but it is a big step above driver quality in our humble opinion. The current owner got the car from the high country of California, and was amazed and the condition of the metal and underside of the vheicle. The car came with factory A/C - an option for 1971 however it is not currently working. The red exterior pops nicely against the black leather interior and the manual tan convertible top. The top is in great condition and fits the car exceptionally well. If you want a good running, clean car, look no further! IF you want a piece of history and a good time driving down the road in a classic British roadster, look no further! This 1971 Jaguar XK-E Convertible is patiently awaiting its new owner. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is poised to offer this 1973 Plymouth Cuda at the Milwaukee Showroom. There have been a few muscle cars to achieve a “legendary status and among them, the Cuda is one that helps stand out from the crowd. Build on the same platform of the Dodge Challenger, the Cuda already has good bones to look the part of being one bad to the bone performance machine. The beauty is coated in a beautiful purple paint courtesy of House of Kolors accompanied by black graphics going up the side that gives a subtle nod to the T/A model when combined with the side exit exhaust. Under the hood of this legendary Mopar lies a 340 cubic inch small block LA V8 that has been upgraded by Motor Masters of Hartford by punching the pistons .060 over, adding X-code heads, roller rockers, and an aftermarket camshaft which makes for a good improvement of power over stock on a complete rebuild resulting in a healthy 426 horsepower on 430 ft/lbs of torque. The healthy engine makes its exhale through a set of Hooker longtube headers. The 340 is bolted to a 727 Torqueflight 3-speed automatic transmission which shifts and engages smoothly with a 2500 stall converted sandwiched between the motor and trans. All this power is transferred back to a 8.75 rear axle which features a SureGrip limited slip differential and a 3:55 gear ratio. Description:

Now available at our Philadelphia showroom is a 2009 Chevrolet Corvette SV 9 Competizione. If you have never heard of an SV 9 Comptizione you are not alone. In the summer of 2009 in Las Vegas at the SEMA show the SV Motor Company debuted the much-anticipated SV 9 Competizione. Based on the Chevrolet Corvette it was designed to capture the essence of the Italian exotics without all the expensive maintenance that they require. The grand plan was to produce 1000 of these cars that model year. With a catalog of 25 exterior colors, four wheel choices and five interior trim options. SV motors promised that no two cars would be the same. Distinguished by its unique carbon fiber composite body panels, Osram Xenon headlights and extra wide alloy wheels with Pirelli P-Zero Rosso Tires. The SV 9 features a luxurious interior featuring custom leather upholstered seats and paneling by Mario Levi Spa of Torino, Italy, special woodgrain accents and custom instrumentation. The heart of the car is the LS3 6.2L/450 HP all aluminum V-8 sporting a six-speed transmission and a ANSA exhaust system. The Corvette Z51 Performance Package adds 14.1-inch cross drilled ventilated disc brakes, special shocks, springs, and stabilizer bars. It also includes engine oil and transmission fluid coolers and a six-speed transmission. Unfortunately, less than a year later the man behind SV Motors Joseph “Giuseppe” Viola, was indicted on fraud charges and sentenced to 36 years in prison. That was a death sentence for the SV 9. There would be no production. All the plans for producing this fantastic car were canceled. Only 4 were built. One in Red, one in White, one in Blue, and the Green one that we have here. Performance is 0 – 60 in 4 seconds with a top speed of 190 MPH.To view this 2009 Chevrolet Corvette SV 9 Competizione in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Ft. Lauderdale is proud to offer this Classy 1990 Land Rover Defender 90. Land Rover was conceived by the Rover Company in 1947 during the aftermath of World War II. Before the war, Rover had produced luxury cars which were not in demand in the immediate post-war period and raw materials were strictly rationed to those companies building construction or industrial equipment, or products that could be widely exported to earn crucial foreign exchange for the country. Because of the tight financial position in this period of British Leyland (which owned Land Rover), Santanas were often better placed than Land Rover was to deal with these failings. This meant that Santana began to engineer its own solutions to common problems into the models it produced and thus arose a degree of originality in Santanas models compared to Land Rovers original products - a trend that led to the companys position today. Land Rover is known the world over for its capabilities off road. Whether it is the Sahara, the Amazon, the Mojave, or the Alaskan Outback or Defender. This Charming 1990 Land Rover Defender 90 has a vibrant White exterior paint with Black trim, and pairs nicely with the beautiful Black leather interior. Equipped with a rebuilt inline 4 cylinder 200 TDI 2.5 Liter Diesel engine, with less than 20 miles since the new rebuilt, as well as a bore of 90.47mm and a Piston Stroke of 97mm, this Defender can move. Moreover, the 200 TDI 2.5 Liter is accompanied by a 5-speed manual Transmission. Other options include: Power Steering, Power Brakes, Air Conditioning, Am/Fm Radio, Light Bar, Towing Winch, Spare Tire, Seat Belts, Aluminum/Alloy Wheels, Radial Tires and more! This Corvette has the high-performance small block engine (the LT-1 was rated at 55 more HP than the base units 200HP); which, when converted back to gross HP (like its 1971 rating would have used), would have been rated at close to 350HP. This is still more than enough to burn off the rear tires and give a lot of cars a run for their money. The C3 Corvette (referring to the third generation) ran from 1968 all the way through 1982. This C3 is one of only about 20,486 Corvette coupes produced in 1972. With its roughly 93,000 miles on the odometer, and having its original drivetrain, it is very likely to increase in value as the LT-1 cars become harder to find (especially the manual transmission cars). This numbers matching Corvette is equipped with its original-spec leather seating, and the black interior nicely contrasts with the Ontario Orange paint. It fires up with ease, and is a real pleasure to drive, with everything operating smoothly and properly. This beauty is ready to rock the shows and steal the show at cruising events. Pop off the T-tops, remove and stow the back glass, and have a near-convertible experience, while still getting the better ride that most coupes have (compared to pure roadsters). So, what are you waiting for? Snap this one up, strap yourself in, fire it up, grab 1st gear, and hit it! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale would like to introduce for sale, on consignment, this stellar 1965 Pontiac GTO. According to the VIN this started out as a Le Mans 2 door hard top sport coupe. Tribute cars are becoming more common and are a great way to get into a classic car without breaking the bank. This car delivers in the driving experience department, our entire staff gave it rave reviews after the road test and in this industry, cars come along and surprise you after the test drive. The exterior is finished in turquoise with the interior finished in teal. The two speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly and helps deliver the power from the transplanted 389 cubic inch V8 from another Pontiac with approximately 10,000 miles on the clock since the rebuild and install. Creature comforts come by way of some great features like AM/FM radio, power windows, power steering, power brakes, tilt column and seat belts. The rally wheels give it that classic look and help accentuate the beautiful lines of the car. Current owner has had the car for the last 13 years. He bought it out of Oregon and based on its condition, it spent a lot of time in a cozy garage. This is a great example of a classic car meant to be driven as much as admired. Give the sales staff a call to discuss making this one a part of your family!

Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a unique, one of a kind 1955 Chevrolet 3100 pickup. Its hard to find an area of sheet metal that hasnt been reworked. The top has been chopped, the bed was shortened, the hood has been pancacked and the body has also been channeled in order for the frame to sit higher in the chassis. When the top was cut, the windows were cut as well for proper fitment by using water jet cutting. A forward tilting hood is a unique take and it works beautifully. The door hinges have been relocated in order to switch them over to suicide door operation. Electric door poppers are in place of the original door handles and the mirrors have been removed for a clean and shaved appearance. The tailgate is welded shut and has flames tamped into the sheet metal The bed has an interesting look to it thanks to the wheel wells that have been enlarged to accommodate the gigantic wheel and tire combo. The rears are 285/50R20 and the fronts are 255/60R17. The bed itself has been airbrushed to resemble a wood bed. The fuel filler for the aluminum fuel cell is accessed by a flip up door in the center of the bed and the shape of the bed floor has been modified in order to fit the channeled chassis, primarily the rear axles. This smooth body is supported by an adjustable air suspension that is controlled by two switches mounted in the custom center console. Ride height can be independently adjusted for the front and rear. The rear suspension also consist of an adjustable four-link set up and a Mustang II for the front end. The Mustang II includes tubular upper and lower control arms along with rack and pinion steering. Slowing down is a breeze with four wheel disc brakes. Four wheel disc are a good thing to have with a power plant such as this one. Under the hood is a 454 cubic inch big block thats backed up by a TH-400. three speed automatic. Out back and sending the power to the rear wheels is a 12 bolt rear end housing 4.11 gears. Inside is just as well built and thought out as the rest of the build. The seats are leather with Ostrich leather inserts as are the door panels and headliner. The floor is also leather! Dakota Digital gauges keep you well informed. The custom made center console houses the air suspension controls and the Lokar shifter. The center console stretches back past the bucket seats and up towards the rear window. The headliner also houses the stereo that can be controlled by remote. The rest of the controls are hidden under the dash to help retain the clean and uncluttered appearance. No expense was spared for this one off build. If you want a one of a kind classic truck that doesnt have gawdy color combination or flames everywhere, look no further.
