Description:

580 horsepower sits under that custom Callaway hood hiding a special surprise! With only 30,000 miles in the last ten years, this stunning and unique Corvette is ready to tear up the streets. Callaway has built a reputation around designing specialty and high performance cars and did not disappoint on this C6. Back in 2008, you could not go to your Chevrolet dealership and order a Callaway Corvette directly from them. You had to seek out a Callaway dealership and pay a whopping $25,000 over sticker to get this install done. The 2008 Corvette, before any options were added, were $46,100. This Corvette did not start life as a base option Corvette though. It came with the 3LT preferred equipment group that included the 6-disk CD changer, MP3 compatibility, Bose premium 7-speaker system, heads-up display, power telescoping steering wheel, heated seats, Adjustable sport bucket seats with perforated leather inserts, steering wheel radio controls, navigation, magnetic selective ride control, and lastly the 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. It is well optioned to say the least and is much more high performance than your typical C6. As you drive this car, you will be astonished at how well the car drives and cruises when you are not pushing it. You may be even more surprised once you lean on the throttle at just how much power this car has! It will leave you speechless and will require your full attention. Due to it being a specialty vehicle, there were very few of these produced and is sure to hold its value well. If you are looking for a Corvette that you can thoroughly enjoy and have the only one like it in your local Corvette community, this Callaway Corvette would be the perfect option! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Callaway in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

The Grand Sport is the car that splits the difference between the standard Corvette and the Z06 Corvette. The Engineers at Chevrolet put their collective heads together and when they completed their design session, the Grand Sport was born and has a seat at the table all by itself along with the Z06 and ZR1. A Grand Sport takes the forged crank from the strong ZR1 along with the dry sum oiling system and puts them in the Grand Sport LS3 engine (only for 6-speed manual coupe cars) that was hand assembled at the factory. The Grand Sport also added about 2 ½” in body width which allows for the use of larger rims and tires of the Z06 as well, the 275/35-18’s in the front and 325/30-19’s in the rear. The Z06’s large cross drilled brake rotors were also added to allow for greater stopping power along with ceramic brake pads (which were added later). In addition this Grand Sport also has the Z06’s – Z51 and FE3 suspension system long with added front air inlets in the front spoiler under the bumper as well as rear brake cooling ducts, as a result they reduce the aerodynamic lift by half and provide cooling for the brakes during spirited track driving. The front and rear wheel alignments were changed to provide a more even tire wear for longer lasting tires. This Grand Sport with the NPP exhaust system in the open position has made 507 hp at the crank with the addition of the aluminum ceramic coated long tube headers, high-flow catalytic converters, an Air Raid intake filtration system, and finally dyno tuned. Cruising at 70 MPH, the engine is turning a paltry 1700 rpm chugging out near or at 25 mpg. You now have the best of both worlds; power and fuel economy. This car also sports the factory 4LT equipment group, which includes the great Heads-up Display. Added to this car for looks and safety are LED tail lights, along with a brake light flasher built into the center rear brake light bar. Just below the tail lights a chrome valance was added to allow for a striking rear end look. Under the valance there is a ghost C6 emblem. This Corvette emblem appears to be floating all by itself between the NPP exhaust pipes. The NPP exhaust system allows for straight through exit of the exhaust gasses, in essence bypassing the mufflers and providing a sporty sound. The tires are Invo Nitto’s which are advertised as, “Great road and track tires”. This set of tires provides a much quieter and softer ride as well as longer lasting tires than the standard Goodyear’s. These tires currently have less than 500 miles on them. The wheel wells, as well as on the rear storage deck and inside the door panels have had sound absorbing Dynomat sheets installed providing a very quiet ride while driving and allowing you to better hear the great Bose sound system. On the front of the car under the bumper is a curb alert electronic warning system. When you get within 9-10” of a curb or obstruction there is a three tone chirp that alerts you to stop. This feature negates any damage to your front spoiler. Up front you will notice a round “belly button” this is actually a magnetic connector that allows you to magnetically attach a battery tender to the car to provide continuous trickle charge to your battery. A simple, quick and efficient means for ensuring that the battery will always stay charged. The entire front of the car, headlights, hood and side mirrors a covered with Expel which is one of the best paint protecting coatings available for sports cars. The only thing this car lacks is a new owner who will care for it and enjoy it for years to come! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

All original and numbers matching! This one owner Trans Am only has 12,893 original miles on it and still smells like it did when it was on the dealer’s lot. This beauty is all original and has never been restored. Special editions 1980 Trans Ams typically came with the black exterior and a brown interior, but not this special ordered one. The owner did not like the way the brown interior contrasted with gold spun dash and was somehow able to get this one with black interior which looks much better with the gold spun inserts found in the special edition cars. This very well could be the only 1980 Trans Am that had this color combination. The car was lightly enjoyed and always garage kept over its whole life. The 1980 Pontiac Trans Am was the first turbo V8 car that was ever produced by an American manufacturer and was very quick for its day. The producers of the “Smokey and the Bandit 2” used this same style car for their feature car. This special edition car was ordered with the high-performance suspension upgrade that had 4-wheel disc brakes, larger sway bars and stiffer springs to help this car really squat and stick to the road in hard cornering or launches. This car was special ordered exactly the way the owner wanted it including; AM/FM radio with a cassette player, power brakes, cruise control, power steering, air conditioning (needs recharge), high-performance suspension package, and T-tops. This car is ALL ORIGINAL and in excellent condition. How original you ask? So original that it still has the original tire from the factory on it. You will not find another special edition Trans Am quite this original and low mileage out there. This vehicle is in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1980 Pontiac Trans Am in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

We have a beautiful Gold hued 1970 Pontiac GTO here in our Milwaukee showroom. This GTO features a Tan interior and is numbers matching. In 1970 the GTO retained the Endura urethane cover around the headlamps and grille. The suspension was upgraded with the addition of a rear anti-roll bar, essentially the same bar as used on the Oldsmobile 442 and Buick Gran Sport. The front anti-roll bar was slightly stiffer. The result was a useful reduction in body lean in turns and a modest reduction of understeer. The base engine was unchanged for 1970, but the low-compression economy engine was deleted and the Ram Air III and Ram Air IV remained available, although the latter was now a special-order option.A new option was Pontiacs 455 HO engine (different from the round-port offerings of the 1971–72 cars), available now that GM had rescinded its earlier ban on intermediates with engines larger than 400. The 455, a long-stroke engine also available in the full-size Pontiac line as well as the Grand Prix, was dubiously rated by Pontiac as only moderately stronger than the base 350 HP 400 CID and less powerful than the 366 hp (273 kW) Ram Air III. The Pontiac brochure indicated the same 455 installed in the Grand Prix model was rated at 370 horsepower (280 kW). The camshafts used in the Ram Air III and the GTO 455 HO were the same. For example, the manual transmission 455 HOs used the same 288/302 duration cam as the Ram Air III. The 455 was rated at 360 hp (270 kW) at 4,300 rpm. Its advantage was torque: 500 lb·ft (678 N·m) at 2,700 rpm. A functional Ram Air scoop was available. Car and Driver tested a heavily optioned 455, with a four-speed transmission and 3.31 axle and recorded a quarter mile time of 15.0 seconds with a trap speed of 96.5 mph (155.3 km/h) . Car Life test car had the Turbo-Hydramatic 455 with a 3.55 rear differential, clocked 14.76 seconds at 95.94 mph (154.40 km/h), with identical 6.6 second 0–60 mph acceleration. Both were about 3 mph (4.8 km/h) slower than a Ram Air III 400 four-speed, although considerably less temperamental: the Ram Air engine idled roughly and was difficult to drive at low speeds. The smaller displacement engine recorded less than 9 mpg US (26 L/100 km; 11 mpg imp) of gasoline, compared to 10 mpg US (24 L/100 km; 12 mpg imp)-11 mpg US (21 L/100 km; 13 mpg imp) for the 455 This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. Description:

We are thrilled to offer for sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our Saint Louis showroom is this 1936 Ford Tudor. This beautiful street rod has covered a modest 1,600 miles since its full frame off restoration last year. The restoration started as well as anyone can ask for, a rust free body. This one is all original steel, no fiberglass on this one! Prior to the restoration, the car had been stored in a garage since 1946 with an original 27,000 miles! Even though the car was very solid, the restorer decided to upgrade the chassis to a Pete and Jake frame. This is a great upgrade to handle the added power coming from the Vortec 350 V8. Other upgrades and street rod themed parts include power four wheel disc brakes, Vintage Air A/C system, new front and rear suspension, 8.8 rear end with 3.73 gears, 700 R4 overdrive automatic transmission, tilt steering column, digital gauges, all new glass, new top, Walker radiator, new high end interior by Sew Fine Interiors of St. Louis and of course wheels and tires. The wheel and tire combo are 17 inch up front and 20 inch out back for a great staggered look. The bumpers were all rechromed and the paint is PPG base/clear Dark Purple Pearl. This 36 Ford is very well built and ready to impress! Call our St. Louis showroom for more information or swing by for an up close viewing. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer up this beautiful 1971 Chevrolet Corvette. Between the sharp lines and healthy engine, this car is sure to be a fun weekend toy for the new owner. Under the hood of this beauty is a massive 454 CID V8 engine. The 454 was the largest production engine put into a corvette. These engines made massive torque numbers all the way through the rev range and made for a thrilling drive. This engine was rebuilt roughly 1,000 miles ago to ensure proper performance and reliability. Thanks to the rebuild, the engine runs very well and pulls like it should. Sending the power to the rear end is a four-speed manual transmission that shifts firmly through the gears. Overall, the powertrain on this Vette is solid and performs very well. This car is just itching to get on some windy roads. Moving inward, the interior is finished in black and has a very enclosed and low to the ground feel that provides the driver with an interesting perspective like that of a racecar. The seats are in good condition and comfortable. The driver will appreciate the removable factory hardtop to allow plenty of sunshine in on warmer days. Also, if the driver would rather keep the top on, the air conditioning will keep the cabin at a comfortable temperature. On colder days, the driver will enjoy the heat. Keeping the driving experience enjoyable are power brakes and power steering. Overall, the interior in in pretty good shape. Moving outward, the car is finished in grey PPG paint that accents the curves of the car very well. The chrome bumpers and side exhaust covers are in good condition with some isolated minor discoloration that isnt out of the ordinary for these cars. Supporting each corner of this sweet ride are the correct rally wheels wrapped in rubber with decent life left. Overall, the exterior of this beauty is in a very good driver condition. For more information on this 1971 Chevrolet Corvette located in our Houston showroom, come by and see us or contact the showroom at (832)243-6220, or email the showroom at Houston@gatewayclassiccars.com

Description:

Now featured in our Denver showroom is this tastefully modified 2001 Dodge Viper GTS dyno’ed at over 430 horsepower to the rear wheels! After the Viper hit the market in the early 90’s, these cars have grown a huge following and is clear to see why given the V10 engine in this lightweight coupe and sleek lines. 2001 was one of the last years of the second generation of Vipers which saw an increase of 15 horsepower to 415 and had anti-lock braking introduced. This Viper specifically has had a few modifications including VIPAIR intake and smooth tubes for better flow coming in and helping it breathe out well is the Belanger headers and cat-back exhaust that not only adds power, but a superb sound! These modifications also have brought this Viper up to over 430 horsepower at the rear wheels! Unitrax half shafts were added as well to stand up to the additional power and the rear end was equipped with a set of 3.73:1 gear ratio for quicker acceleration off the line than the stock 3.07:1. Once you slide in and get behind the wheel of this Viper, the excitement starts to set in. Turn the key and the V10 comes to life! Put it in gear, roll into the throttle, and hold on as all that power tries to push you through the back of your seat. Once the RPM’s creep up and you let off the throttle, a symphony of pops and bangs and growls bellow from the exhaust. With the discontinuation of the Viper from the Dodge brand, there has been a steady uptick in demand for these cars and have steadily been increasing in value. This 2001 Dodge Viper is a great candidate for someone who is looking for a fun car to take out on those sunny days and weekends without having to worry about the drastic depreciation as the miles tick upwards. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 2001 Dodge Viper in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston has a beautiful 1955 Chevrolet Bel-Air available for sale. This car is finished in a gorgeous turquoise/white exterior with a black vinyl interior. This Bel-Air packs a punch with it’s 355 CID V8 engine that goes through an Turbo 400 3-speed automatic transmission with a Jaquar 3000rpm stall torque converter that leads into a Ford 9” posi with 3.73 gears. The engine was rebuilt by Chris Car Doc of Humble TX and has only covered about 600 miles since then. The craftsmanship on this car is stunning. 1955 was the first year for the second generation of Bel-Air. 1955 was also the year for Bill Haley and His Comets to release “Rock Around The Clock” and Lady and the Tramp was first showing in theaters! For 1955, Chevrolets full-size model received all new styling and power. The 1955 Bel Air was 3,456 lb (1,568 kg) and 15 ft (4.6 m) long. It was called the Hot One in GMs advertising campaign. Chevrolets styling was crisp, clean and incorporated a Ferrari-inspired grille. Bel Airs came with features found on cars in the lower models ranges plus interior carpet, chrome headliner bands on hardtops, chrome spears on front fenders, stainless steel window moldings,[1] and full wheel covers. Models were further distinguished by the Bel Air name script in gold lettering later in the year. This car is equipped with A/C, AM/FM radio, cassette, power brakes, power steering, tilt wheel, vinyl interior radial tires and alloy wheels. You will find it difficult to find a nicer Bel-Air. Description:

For sale in our Ft. Lauderdale showroom is a beautiful classic 1969 Pontiac GTO. The GTO is what many consider to be the car that started the whole muscle car craze back in 1964. By 1968 the car was beginning to become dated, so a new model with a fastback design was released, and the public went car crazy. 1969 would bring what many believe to be the best looking GTO to come out of the Motor City. This GTO had a nut and bolt restoration done a little over 6 years ago, and still shows extremely well. The black paint is slick and looks fantastic. Under the hood is the classic 400 CID engine that is believed to be the original to the car. With the 1969 Pontiac GTO putting out 350 + HP, you’ll need a strong transmission, and this GTO has arguably one of the best. The M20 in this Goat feels great, and goes through all the gears without any trouble. The clutch still has plenty of life left and the pedal feels good as well. Open the door and the classic interior is everything you would expect from Pontiac. The black vinyl buckets not only look great, but are very comfortable to boot. The floor mounted 4 speed shifter comes up just enough to be the perfect height. With it being right at arm lengths away banging through the gears is an absolute pleasure. These ’69 GTO’s are insanely popular right now, and will only go up in value. Perfect for any car show or cruise in, and an absolute head turner on the road, this 1969 Pontiac GTO would make the coolest daily driver around. Options on this real 242 1969 Pontiac GTO include; AM Radio, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, and Rally Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This Dream Machine is only a phone call away. Don’t let the next person drive off in your Pontiac GTO. Call Now! Description:

The Ford Torino was produced between 1968-1976 and most remembered for the red/white 1975 “Starsky & Hutch” special and several NASCAR racing adaptations. The car was named after the city of Turin, Italy (pronounced “Torino” in Italian) considered the Detroit equivalent in Italy. The Torino Cobra, fitted with a 429cid (7.0 L) “Cobra-Jet” engine was the no-nonsense pure performance model. While the Torino GT was trimmed with a non-functional hood scoop, the 1970 429 Cobra featured a real version attached to the air cleaner assembly that protruded through a hole in the hood. This became known as a “shaker” due the fact that it vibrated when the engine was running. The 429 CJ is rated at 370 hp and includes a 2-bolt main block and hydraulic lifters. This Marti documented, 1970 stunner has a 1971 replacement engine mated to the original 3.91 Traction-Lok differential and four-speed close-ratio manual transmission. The ginger interior offsets the frame-off restored red exterior nicely. The car rolled off the assembly line on January 22, 1970 in Dark Ivy Green Metallic paired with the same ginger interior. Additional features include power front disc brakes, AM Radio, color keyed racing mirrors and tachometer. This incredible 1970 Ford Cobra Sport Roof is in is located at our Milwaukee showroom.
