Description:

For Sale in our Nashville Showroom we are excited to present this 1970 Dodge Challenger. This car is a Star, no really, its a been in a Hollywood movie, a popular crime show, and a tire commercial. This 1970 Dodge Challenger was driven by Jack Nicholson in the 2007 movie, The Bucket List. This is not your run of the mill 1970 Dodge Challenger as its not an original car but a resto-mod created by famed muscle-car builder Ted Moser, who also built them for the Fast and Furious movie series. Its powered by a late model 5.7-liter Hemi V8 backed by an automatic transmission. The whole package is brought to a halt by a set of Weldman disc brakes. After The Bucket List movie, the car appeared in a few TV roles, including on NCIS with Mark Harmon, and the 2010 movie, The Runaways. So, now you know where the cars been, but the best is yet to come. With less than 3000 miles on this build, the car has a ton of life left and is ready for someone to driver her. The late model power plant affords you plenty of power and creature comforts such as air conditioning, power steering, and power brakes. Add to this the safety of radial tires and seat belts and this car is like driving a late model with the style of a 1970s. If youre ready to star in your own bucket list adventure or for more information please call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or e-mail us at Nashville@GatewayClassicCars.com http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/NSH/816/1970-Dodge-Challenger

Description:

For sale in our Nashville TN showroom is a rare 1970 Dodge Super bee. This Dodge super bee in our Nashville TN showroom is 1 of 11 ever built! Take a second and really let that sink in. With only 11 ever built how many could possibly be left. And how many of them are still in showroom quality. This particular 1970 Dodge Super bee has been well taken care of and loved for many years. It belongs to an avid MOPAR lover and collector. This Super bee is as tough as it looks, equipped with a beefy 383 cubic inch Chrysler engine and the virtually indestructible Torqueflight 727 transmission. The green go paint still has plenty of shine and life left in it. The interior has the ultra comfy tall back bucket seats wrapped in premium black vinyl. The original Dodge Super Bee was based on the Dodge Coronet two-door coupe, and was produced from 1968 until 1970. It was Dodges low-priced powerful muscle car and a rebadged version of the Plymouth Road Runner. The origin of the name, Super Bee, has its basis in the B Body designation pertinent to Chryslers mid-sized cars, including the Road Runner and Charger. In addition to minor external differences, such as larger rear wheel openings, the bumblebee tailstripe and fancier grille, and the taillight ornamentation, the Super Bee also used actual diecast chrome-plated Bee medallions. These three-dimensional medallions were prominently mounted in a raised position in the grille/hood area and the trunklid/taillight area of the car throughout the first three years of production. If you want a car that stands apart from the competition this is the car to have. OPTIONS INCLUDE: AM/FM radio, CD player, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl interior, Aluminum alloy wheels For more information call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or email us at Nashville@gatewayclassiccars.com

Due to limited production numbers, most people could not afford to purchase the real deal or even find one for that matter, so a few manufacturers decided to create replicas that look like the real deal for a fraction of the price. This stunning version of a 1967 Cobra was built in 2005 and features a 351 that was built up and punched out to a 393 CID V8 that packs a serious punch. Slotted and crossed drilled disc brakes on all four corners. Independent rear suspension. Hooked up behind the engine is a Tremec 5-Speed transmission that allows excellent drivability and fun! With static cling decals that can be removed without harming the paint. This car was purchased, built, and maintained by the same owner for the last 12 years and only 3,265 miles have been put on it since it was built. When you jump inside, you will feel like you have been transported back to the sixties and are about to set off on the race of your life. The flat dash with simplistic gauge layout allows the drive to carefully monitor what is happening with the car as you are cruising. Once you get out on the open road and start shifting through the gears you will be blown away by the sheer power and agility of a car that was developed and raced 50 years ago. It is an absolute thrill to drive and assures there will never be a dull moment when behind the wheel. This Cobra runs and drives great and is ready to go to a new home where it will be truly loved and enjoyed! If you have always wanted to own a Cobra, take a closer look at this one and start living your dream. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. This is the new age Roaster now called the Prowler, with its sexy snout, open front suspension assembly, and two different style tops to run with. Powering this 2001 Chrysler Prowler Convertible for sale is a 3.5L V6 SOHC, this is a lot of engine in such a light car and with that said you will be able to keep up with the heavy V8 muscle cars! 580 horsepower sits under that custom Callaway hood hiding a special surprise! With only 30,000 miles in the last ten years, this stunning and unique Corvette is ready to tear up the streets. Callaway has built a reputation around designing specialty and high performance cars and did not disappoint on this C6. Back in 2008, you could not go to your Chevrolet dealership and order a Callaway Corvette directly from them. You had to seek out a Callaway dealership and pay a whopping $25,000 over sticker to get this install done. The 2008 Corvette, before any options were added, were $46,100. This Corvette did not start life as a base option Corvette though. It came with the 3LT preferred equipment group that included the 6-disk CD changer, MP3 compatibility, Bose premium 7-speaker system, heads-up display, power telescoping steering wheel, heated seats, Adjustable sport bucket seats with perforated leather inserts, steering wheel radio controls, navigation, magnetic selective ride control, and lastly the 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. It is well optioned to say the least and is much more high performance than your typical C6. As you drive this car, you will be astonished at how well the car drives and cruises when you are not pushing it. You may be even more surprised once you lean on the throttle at just how much power this car has! It will leave you speechless and will require your full attention. Due to it being a specialty vehicle, there were very few of these produced and is sure to hold its value well. If you are looking for a Corvette that you can thoroughly enjoy and have the only one like it in your local Corvette community, this Callaway Corvette would be the perfect option! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. Description:

The Grand Sport is the car that splits the difference between the standard Corvette and the Z06 Corvette. The Engineers at Chevrolet put their collective heads together and when they completed their design session, the Grand Sport was born and has a seat at the table all by itself along with the Z06 and ZR1. A Grand Sport takes the forged crank from the strong ZR1 along with the dry sum oiling system and puts them in the Grand Sport LS3 engine (only for 6-speed manual coupe cars) that was hand assembled at the factory. The Grand Sport also added about 2 ½” in body width which allows for the use of larger rims and tires of the Z06 as well, the 275/35-18’s in the front and 325/30-19’s in the rear. The Z06’s large cross drilled brake rotors were also added to allow for greater stopping power along with ceramic brake pads (which were added later). In addition this Grand Sport also has the Z06’s – Z51 and FE3 suspension system long with added front air inlets in the front spoiler under the bumper as well as rear brake cooling ducts, as a result they reduce the aerodynamic lift by half and provide cooling for the brakes during spirited track driving. The front and rear wheel alignments were changed to provide a more even tire wear for longer lasting tires. This Grand Sport with the NPP exhaust system in the open position has made 507 hp at the crank with the addition of the aluminum ceramic coated long tube headers, high-flow catalytic converters, an Air Raid intake filtration system, and finally dyno tuned. Cruising at 70 MPH, the engine is turning a paltry 1700 rpm chugging out near or at 25 mpg. You now have the best of both worlds; power and fuel economy. This car also sports the factory 4LT equipment group, which includes the great Heads-up Display. Added to this car for looks and safety are LED tail lights, along with a brake light flasher built into the center rear brake light bar. Just below the tail lights a chrome valance was added to allow for a striking rear end look. Under the valance there is a ghost C6 emblem. This Corvette emblem appears to be floating all by itself between the NPP exhaust pipes. The NPP exhaust system allows for straight through exit of the exhaust gasses, in essence bypassing the mufflers and providing a sporty sound. The tires are Invo Nitto’s which are advertised as, “Great road and track tires”. This set of tires provides a much quieter and softer ride as well as longer lasting tires than the standard Goodyear’s. These tires currently have less than 500 miles on them. The wheel wells, as well as on the rear storage deck and inside the door panels have had sound absorbing Dynomat sheets installed providing a very quiet ride while driving and allowing you to better hear the great Bose sound system. On the front of the car under the bumper is a curb alert electronic warning system. When you get within 9-10” of a curb or obstruction there is a three tone chirp that alerts you to stop. This feature negates any damage to your front spoiler. Up front you will notice a round “belly button” this is actually a magnetic connector that allows you to magnetically attach a battery tender to the car to provide continuous trickle charge to your battery. A simple, quick and efficient means for ensuring that the battery will always stay charged. The entire front of the car, headlights, hood and side mirrors a covered with Expel which is one of the best paint protecting coatings available for sports cars. The only thing this car lacks is a new owner who will care for it and enjoy it for years to come! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

All original and numbers matching! This one owner Trans Am only has 12,893 original miles on it and still smells like it did when it was on the dealer’s lot. This beauty is all original and has never been restored. Special editions 1980 Trans Ams typically came with the black exterior and a brown interior, but not this special ordered one. The owner did not like the way the brown interior contrasted with gold spun dash and was somehow able to get this one with black interior which looks much better with the gold spun inserts found in the special edition cars. This very well could be the only 1980 Trans Am that had this color combination. The car was lightly enjoyed and always garage kept over its whole life. The 1980 Pontiac Trans Am was the first turbo V8 car that was ever produced by an American manufacturer and was very quick for its day. The producers of the “Smokey and the Bandit 2” used this same style car for their feature car. This special edition car was ordered with the high-performance suspension upgrade that had 4-wheel disc brakes, larger sway bars and stiffer springs to help this car really squat and stick to the road in hard cornering or launches. This car was special ordered exactly the way the owner wanted it including; AM/FM radio with a cassette player, power brakes, cruise control, power steering, air conditioning (needs recharge), high-performance suspension package, and T-tops. This car is ALL ORIGINAL and in excellent condition. How original you ask? So original that it still has the original tire from the factory on it. You will not find another special edition Trans Am quite this original and low mileage out there. This vehicle is in our Denver showroom. Description:

We have a beautiful Gold hued 1970 Pontiac GTO here in our Milwaukee showroom. This GTO features a Tan interior and is numbers matching. In 1970 the GTO retained the Endura urethane cover around the headlamps and grille. The suspension was upgraded with the addition of a rear anti-roll bar, essentially the same bar as used on the Oldsmobile 442 and Buick Gran Sport. The front anti-roll bar was slightly stiffer. The result was a useful reduction in body lean in turns and a modest reduction of understeer. The base engine was unchanged for 1970, but the low-compression economy engine was deleted and the Ram Air III and Ram Air IV remained available, although the latter was now a special-order option.A new option was Pontiacs 455 HO engine (different from the round-port offerings of the 1971–72 cars), available now that GM had rescinded its earlier ban on intermediates with engines larger than 400. The 455, a long-stroke engine also available in the full-size Pontiac line as well as the Grand Prix, was dubiously rated by Pontiac as only moderately stronger than the base 350 HP 400 CID and less powerful than the 366 hp (273 kW) Ram Air III. The Pontiac brochure indicated the same 455 installed in the Grand Prix model was rated at 370 horsepower (280 kW). The camshafts used in the Ram Air III and the GTO 455 HO were the same. For example, the manual transmission 455 HOs used the same 288/302 duration cam as the Ram Air III. The 455 was rated at 360 hp (270 kW) at 4,300 rpm. Its advantage was torque: 500 lb·ft (678 N·m) at 2,700 rpm. A functional Ram Air scoop was available. Car and Driver tested a heavily optioned 455, with a four-speed transmission and 3.31 axle and recorded a quarter mile time of 15.0 seconds with a trap speed of 96.5 mph (155.3 km/h) . Car Life test car had the Turbo-Hydramatic 455 with a 3.55 rear differential, clocked 14.76 seconds at 95.94 mph (154.40 km/h), with identical 6.6 second 0–60 mph acceleration. Both were about 3 mph (4.8 km/h) slower than a Ram Air III 400 four-speed, although considerably less temperamental: the Ram Air engine idled roughly and was difficult to drive at low speeds. The smaller displacement engine recorded less than 9 mpg US (26 L/100 km; 11 mpg imp) of gasoline, compared to 10 mpg US (24 L/100 km; 12 mpg imp)-11 mpg US (21 L/100 km; 13 mpg imp) for the 455 This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom.
