Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Houston is proud to present this awesome 1985 Jeep Scrambler. With only 2,015 made in 1985, it is definitely one of the rarer Jeep models ever produced. The Jeep CJ-8 was a long wheel-base version of the CJ-7, introduced in 1981 and manufactured through 1986. It featured a 103 in (2,616 mm) wheelbase and a removable half-cab, creating a small pick-up style box instead of utilizing a separate pickup bed. CJ-8s used the traditional transfer case with manual front-locking hubs to engage the four-wheel drive. Most had either a four or five speed manual transmission, but a three speed automatic transmission was an option. The term Scrambler comes from an appearance package that many CJ-8s were equipped with, which included tape graphics and special wheels. Former President Ronald Reagan owned a CJ-8 and used it on his California Ranch This Jeep has been equipped with a 350 CID V8 engine that gives it that extra shove down the highway or on the trails. With power steering, power brakes, seat belts and A/C this Jeep is a dream to drive. The awesome paint job and powerful looking build it has curb appeal and is certain to turn heads on the road! Whether you plan to take this on the trails, bring it shows or simply use it as a weekend cruiser, you won’t be disappointed. Overall it is in amazing condition and has been meticulously taken care of. Don’t miss this opportunity to own one of the most amazing Jeeps ever produced. Call the Houston showroom at (832) 243-6220 for more information or to talk about purchasing. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is excited to offer this 1991 Porsche 928 S4. The 928, produced from 1978 to 1995, was originally intended to be Porsche’s flagship model over the 911. The thought was to combine the high performance of a sports car with the refinement of a luxury sedan in a market where regulations were becoming increasingly stringent. Interestingly, the 928 was the only V8 powered coupe ever produced by Porsche, making for a very special car. Additionally, 1991 was the last year for the 928 S4 and only 263 examples we made for the US this year. This numbers matching 928 S4 is powered by a 5.0L V8 that is estimated about 316hp from the factory. This is mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. This engine packs quite a punch and the transmission shifts smoothly. The ride in this grand tourer is sporty enough for the most discerning driver yet sophisticated enough for the pickiest of passengers. The 928 S4 has remarkable handling and cornering capabilities. This sports coupe is in excellent condition thanks to the meticulous maintenance work the current owner has had performed. Some of the work recently performed includes all new belts, new oxygen sensor, new exhaust manifold gasket, new tires, updated power steering hose, a new dash, air conditioning vacuum valves replaced, transmission fluid flush, radiator flush, and differential fluid flush. This does not include a long list of items that were performed prior to late 2016 which includes a new timing belt and water pump. This Porsche presents itself beautifully and you can tell that someone went through the car with a fine-tooth comb. The interior of this 928 looks impeccable. It is well sorted and extremely clean. The exterior of this white Porsche shows very well. The highly desirable white on blue color combination works perfectly on this car. Whether you are looking for a Grand Touring car for road trips, a sporty daily driver, or a fun Sunday ride, you’ve found the Porsche for you! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is proud to offer this awesome 2006 Corvette Convertible with a few tricks up its sleeve. The car was recently painted using the beautiful 2015 Laguna Blue paint color. Underneath the gorgeous exterior you will find a 607 wheel horsepower LS2 with a fantastic build list. An Edelbrock E-Force supercharger, 85lb injectors, dual custom oversized intercoolers and an Alky methanol system all work together to feed this beast the air, fuel and operating temps it needs to generate this output. The engine stays cool with an aftermarket aluminum radiator. This power can be heard through its LG Motorsports long tube headers and B&B; fusion stainless exhaust. All this power would be useless if it couldnt be put on the ground now wouldnt it? The gearing and traction happens through a 6-speed automatic transmission and paddle shifters, Z06 rear end w/3:42 Posi, 265/40/18 front and 345/30/19 rear tires. With all this power and traction youre going to need to stop. The Corvette wears drilled and slotted rotors so you wont have any problems killing off that speed. This beast isnt just built to go fast. It has some creature comforts and visual upgrades that youre going to love too! Power top and black leather interior, Homelink, heads up display, interior wind deflector to keep you relaxed at speed, Z06 rear fenders and spoiler, custom heat extractor hood, new shocks and Optima battery and Kenwood radio/gps/nav/back-up camera. All of these modifications have been done by the current owner in the last 40k miles. This car is just not worth missing the opportunity to own. 1955 Ford Thunderbird for sale. Motorcar Classics is pleased to present this 1955 Ford Thunderbird featured in Red with White hardtop and Red & White vinyl interior. Hard top convertible with a black cloth soft top. This car is equipped with the 3-speed manual transmission. Options include power windows and AM radio. Fords original two-seat Thunderbird, inspired by Chevrolets Corvette, went into production on September 9, 1954. Like Chevrolets fiberglass sports car, the steel-bodied 1955 T-bird rides on a 102-inch wheelbase, but the similarities ended there. Save for some early applications, a removable fiberglass hardtop was standard. Also standard were roll-up windows and V-8 power, all features unavailable to early Corvette customers. The Thunderbird V-8 is a 292 cubic-inch Y-block topped by a single four-barrel carburetor. Output is 193 horsepower as rated with the standard 3-speed manual gearbox. Our car presents itself in very good condition all around. We would characterize it as a high-level driver and it will be a source of pride to its next owner. It runs and drives well and looks great going down the road.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible for sale. This Mustang has been very well maintained and has lots of recent upgrades. It is extremely difficult to find a Mustang in such beautiful condition. This pony car is the one you want to own. Take advantage of a rare specimen and become the driver of a pony car you can very proud to have ownership. Starting its life in California this little 1966 Mustang Convertible has recently had brand new air conditioning, new brakes, new steering box, new air shocks, new dual exhaust, new custom recaro seats that have that classic look, new pony package upholstery, new wheels and tires, and new carburetor to mention a few of the things that have been to this sharp Pony. Powered by a 289 V8 and mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission from a 69 Mustang this car has a posi rear end with 3:72 gear ration. It’s got plenty of get up and go. Painted in beautiful red with black interior this car will turn heads wherever you go. Can you think of any car that has caused such a commotion on launch? I can’t, but I can tell you that 40 years on the Mustang turns heads today just as much as it did back in 1964. Now doubt about it the Mustang today is the most popular classic car, bar none. It’s also one of the most practical classics, comfortable and reliable with a simple mechanical package and a ready supply of parts. In the early 1960s Ford needed a sporty car to combat new models from rival carmakers, and the quickest way to do it they decided was to tweak the Falcon underbody a little, throw in some Fairlane engines and transmissions, and top it off with a sexy new two-plus-two body. Production started in March 1964, the launch was at the New York World’s Fair in April; the rest is history. Options on this classic pony include: Power steering, power brakes, Hub Caps, Vinyl Interior, convertible top, AM radio, Seat belts, radial tires. This is the one you want own. Description:

For sale in the Nashville show room is a red hot 1976 Pontiac Trans Am, powering this 1976 Pontiac Trans Am for sale is a 455CID V8 that is tossing power to the ground like beads at a New Orleans festival. Backing this 455Cid V8 is a four speed Manual transmission. This car is the sheer embodiment of 70’s muscle cars with a rumble that and growl that’s fit for a dragstrip and rocket ship, power at the tip of your toes and a force at your fingertip. The exterior color is the famous Buccaneer red that has the classic Trans Am logo across the hood. If you’re over 40 you’ll have a profound appreciation for its look of brute strength and power. If you’re looking to help the world, save emissions and are looking to save the ozone layer this powerful beast of a machine just might be for you! Because you can out run any Prius chasing you. Returning for what was to be its final season (again?) was the optional 455 V8, still labeled in H.O. guise. Once again, the 455 was packaged, including the confidence inducing semi-metallic front brake pads. As a 4-speed manual was still the required transmission with the big motor, California cars were not allowed this combination (nor any other 4-speeds, for that matter). The single exhaust system was unchanged from 1975 and exited through dual tail pipes with chrome splitters. The rear bumper was also covered in a soft urethane with a depression in the center, eliminating the false bumper bar. This theme made the Trans Am a much more complete looking car. The tail lamps were still of body color and stretched from the corner of the rear end to the license plate recess. With all the muscle cars available to you the Trans Am is as American as apple pie and “Sweet Home Alabama.” Features on this 1976 Pontiac Trans Am for sale include: air conditioning, am/fm radio, power steering, Power brakes, horse power, tilt wheel, seat belts, vinyl interior, radial tires that are wrapping rally wheels to boot and much more. Description:

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1968 Chevrolet Convertible Camaro, this 1968 Convertible Camaro for sale looks striking with its red paint, black vinyl interior and drop top. This is the car that comes to mind every time I think of the late 60’s and early ‘70’s. This is the poster car for that summer that we all remember. Everybody has that summer, the one where freedom is tasted as well as adult beverages. This is the perfect car to relive those long summer nights of so many years ago. Tucked under the hood of this time machine is a Chevy small block or mighty mouse as we use to call them, 327 Cubic inches of raw Chevrolet power topped with a 4 barrel Holley ® Carburetor. This strong 327 is backed by a stout 2 speed automatic transmission. This 1968 Camaro is even more fun to drive than you remember. How long has it been since you experienced driving? I don’t mean in a car that has some computer to make sure you don’t drift outside your lane or one that applies the brakes for you as this is not driving, it is just steering the car, and heck we did that when we were 7 years old on dad’s lap. Remember driving? Wind in your hair and a car with a soul controlled by you and your right foot? Well hurry and get one before they are outlawed and we all “ride” in self driving, soulless things that are not even called cars anymore. Options for this 1968 Camaro convertible for sale include: AM/FM, CD player, power convertible top, power brakes, Rally Rims, seat belts, vinyl interior and radial tires. Description:

Now available in our PHILLY showroom is a 454 Big Block Corvette. This is a numbers matching car with factory air conditioning. For 1974 model, a new rear bumper system replaced the squared tail and chrome rear bumper blades introduced in 1968 with a trim, tapering urethane cover carrying an integral license plate holder and recesses for the trademark round taillights. The rear used a system like the system used in the nose which allowed the Corvette to pass federal five-mph impact tests at the rear as well as the front. The new rear design was quite beautiful, and more up-to-date than the 60s shape that it replaced with most enthusiasts embracing the new design. For the 1974 model, only, casting limitations mandated left and right bumper covers with a vertical center seam. The anti-theft alarm key activator was moved from the rear panel to the front left fender. Tailpipes were now turned down as the new bumper cover eliminated the tailpipe extensions. Hot Rod magazine in its March 1986 issue selected the 1973-74 Corvette LS4 454 as one of the 10 most collectable muscle cars in the company of the 1968-70 Chevelle, 1970 Cuda, 1970 Challenger, 1966-67 Fairlane, 1968-70 AMX, 1970 Camaro Z28, 1968-70 GTO, 1968–69 Charger, and 1967-68 Mustang. The big-block Corvettes were the only muscle cars produced after 1970 worthy of the list. This Big Block Corvette is made even more desirable because of its rare combination of Classic White exterior paint and Dark Red interior combination. With 71919 original miles this Corvette is in very good unrestored condition. To view this 1974 Chevrolet Corvette in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ, located only several minutes outside of Center City Philadelpia, PA. It was an instant success with over 1 million units sold in its first year no one could imagine the following it eventually gain. The moniker 5.0 had become a household name in the late 80’s with Foxbody generation. They were taking these engines and with very little effort increasing HP dramatically. Unfortunately, Ford decided to go with the 4.6 in 1996 and lost a tremendous amount of following because of it. With Chevy discontinuing the Camaro in 02 if you wanted a rear wheel drive American sports coupe you were left with no choice but the Blue Oval offering. Fast forward to and the Bow-Tie boys brought the Camaro and the HP wars were back. Ford seen the writing on the wall and in 2011 the released what has turned into something even bigger than 5.0, the Coyote. This 2015 GT is lucky enough to have one of them under its red hood. The white stripe is runs the body of the car and makes the red look that much redder. The 5.0 chrome on the side lets everyone know that this is not just some base model V6. Stock, other than the Corsa Catback exhaust, this beauty is ready to hit the road. With the premium package option, the interior on this GT is top notch. The black leather is clean and soft with the bucket seats having plenty of side bolster to hold you in place while carving up those backroads.
