Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this beautifully customized 1979 Ford F100 pickup. Fords F series pickups were always a great seller in its class, but this sixth generation of pickups was a milestone in that it became the best-selling truck in America and has yet to give up that title to this day. Using a generous amount of galvanized steel these trucks are very resistant to corrosion. This 1979 example has been passionately restored and customized to give it just the right amount of personality. The first thing you notice on this F100 is the custom 2 tone blue and silver metallic paint job. It really pops out at you almost as much as the chrome wheels do! Before you pop the hood make sure you put your sunglasses on first because its all chrome under here! With a 351 Windsor V8, this truck can really move. On the inside sits a color-coordinated bench seat. The dash has been thoroughly gone over as well and with a modern radio, this truck is ready to cruise! Options on this 1979 F100 include AC, AM/FM/CD/USB radio, power brakes, power steering, tilt wheel, seat belts, vinyl interior, and chrome rims wrapped in low profile tires. This 1979 Ford F100 Pickup is for sale in our Orlando Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:
Gateway Classic Cars of Denver welcomes this FORD 1968 GT Convertiable! Styling was drastically changed from the 1967 Fairlane models, resulting in growth in size and weight. The front fascia featured a full width recessed grille, with horizontal quad headlights placed at the outer edges. Horizontal dividing bars were featured in the grille depending on the model. Parking lights were placed at the outer edge of the front fenders and wrapped around the corner to also act as side marker lights to meet the new 1968 requirements. The body sides were smooth with one horizontal body crease running just below the beltline from front to back. The taillights were rectangular in shape and vertically situated in the rear panel above rear bumper. Reverse lights were located in the middle of the taillights, and small side marker lights were located on the rear edge of the quarter panel. The top level Torino series, which consisted of a 2-door hardtop, a 4-door sedan, and the Squire station wagon that featured wood grained applique. Finally, the Torino GT, the sporty version of the Fairlane 500 series, included a 2-door hardtop, a 2-door SportsRoof, and a convertible.(as seen above) Ford offered many upholstery options, including a knitted vinyl option, called comfortweave. This unique option allowed the vinyl to breathe unlike conventional vinyl, offering more comfort in hot weather. Conforming to U.S. safety standards, there was much padding inside the Torinos interior, which also featured shoulder belts for front outboard passengers on all cars built after December 31, 1967. The Torino GTs standard features included special name plaques and exterior trim, GT markings on wheel covers and courtesy lights on the inside door panels. Contrary to popular belief, bucket seats and console were not standard on the Torino GT. A split bench with column shifter was still the standard interior package (just like this one) Torino GT models came standard with a 302 cu in (4.9 L)-2V small block V8 and this was also the base V8 engine optional on other models. According to contemporary reviews, when equipped properly the Torino GT offered a good combination of power and handling. Ladies and Gentlemen prepare for takeoff! Gateway Classic Cars in Kansas City will prepare you to take flight in this fantastic Aero inspired 1963 Ford Thunderbird Convertible! Not many cars that rolled down North American production lines during the 1960s came with more presence and character than a 1961-63 Ford Thunderbird. Huge pointed fins were by this time well past their prime but new gimmicks were tumbling off drawing boards all across Motown. Buick was fiddling with hidden headlights for its Riviera, Lincoln had already brought back the suicide door and the frumpy 1958-60 Thunderbird was about to be replaced by a car that looked ready for the launch pad at NASA. Nicknamed Big Bird when new but retrospectively dubbed Batmobile, these T-Birds won no awards for elegance but their ability to turn heads was undeniable. Our gorgeous Houey Beige exterior with Houey Beige interior 63 has the presence of an unmolested survivor! Inside and out this beauty really makes a statement of originality! Slide into the cockpit and the entire steering column swings away to make room for the pilot. Turn the key to ignition and a very strong running 390 cubic inch Ford powerplant roars to life. This bird is ready to take flight once the cruise-o-matic transmission selector is place in D position. And not only is this awesome bird powerful, creature-comforts are included such as power brakes, power steering, AM radio, and power convertible top! The power convertible top functioning is a show in itself! Press the automatic top button and the top disappears into the huge opening trunk deck lid! Plus, this classy Thunderbird has recently been enhanced via several mechanical upgrades. All you need to do it buckle in and take off! To discuss this fantastic and unique automotive experience, or many other great classics in our inventory, call your friendly classic car connection at Gateway Classic Cars in Kansas City and we will be happy to provide you with details to help get this dream in your driveway! Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1951 Mercury Eight Sedan. The 49-51 Mercury was the first post war designed car for the automaker and was a huge sales success with its smooth appearance and variety of body styles. With its streamlined styling and fender skirts the car also developed a huge following in the early days of hotrod culture. This mostly original spec Eight Sedan is finished in a charming light shade of yellow and has all its brightwork intact. The wide, low placed grill gives the car the menacing stance that made it so popular. Open the doors and you are welcomed into a cabin that is quite well appointed for its time. The bench seats are finished in cloth and vinyl offering comfort to however many passengers you can squeeze in. Under the hood is a Flathead V8 and is paired to a 3 speed column shift manual. Description:
Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1960 Ford Thunderbird. The 1960 Thunderbird was the last year for what is now known as the Square birds. A rather distinctly different car than original baby birds as the second-generation cars are much bigger and can seat 4 adults comfortably. This beautiful red example has gone through a pain staking restoration with the finished Bird being one the better ones I have seen. Lugged out of a junk yard 15 years ago this was a solid bird to begin with. The red paint was laid down nice and smooth with the result looking like glass. The trim and chrome on the car are very clean and remind you why these birds are classic late 50s. Those classic wire knock offs are a great fit on this 60 Bird. Under the hood you will find a very clean engine bay that is as clean as they come. The period corrects 352 with its true to form yellow valve covers really putting their exclamation point under the hood. The Cruise-O-Matic 3 speed is a smooth shifting transmission that handles all the power of the 352 with ease. Inside this plush 4-seater a fresh interior has been done in red and white vinyl making for a great contrast. The middle console that flows into the back separating the buckets is one of the coolest features to come in a factory car. If you have been wanting to get yourself into a square bird that is flashy and luxurious this one must be on your list. Options on this 1960 Bird include, AM Radio, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior and Knock Off Wheels wrapped in Bias PLY White Wall Tires. Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1974 Dodge Dart Sport 360! Brought to you from the loving care of the current owner is this fantastically refurbished example of a well-optioned Dart! For the last decade this car has had fresh life breathed into it with a ton of fantastic maintenance both major and minor. To begin with, the owner states the engine and transmission have been rebuilt. The beautiful red paint she wears was put down 5 years ago, and the interior has been replaced, along with the vinyl roof, and striping. The AC system was updated and replaced, the electrical has been addressed with new switches, relays, etc. The maintenance list goes on a bit more in depth and is available upon request. The car sounds fantastic and quite clearly has been meticulously cared for and properly refurbished. This car was a labor of love, and offers a ton of fun seat time for a fraction of what most Mopars are going for! Some additional photos are available from the seller to document the refurbishment over the years, and we would love to have a conversation about this ride! 1974 Dodge Dart Sport 360 is for sale in our St. Louis Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Only 2 owners called this Prowler their own, and you will immediately see that it has always been babied. A super clean charcoal grey interior invites you to take a seat and that is where the real fun begins. The Prowler is powered by an all aluminum V6 engine that will get you to 62 mph in just 5.9 seconds. Everything works on this car as it should, and there are no reported accidents. Description:
Gateway Classic Cras of Detroit is proud to offer this 1999 Plymouth Prowler for sale. The Plymouth Prowler, later the Chrysler Prowler, is a retro-styled production car manufactured and marketed from 1997 to 2002 by DaimlerChrysler, based on the 1993 concept car of the same name. The Prowler was offered in a single generation in a front-engine, rear-drive, rear-transmission configuration — with an overall production of 11,702. 1999 had the highest production numbers of 3,921. Chrysler engineers were given free rein to design whatever they wanted in a hot rod or sportster type vehicle. Chryslers design and international director Thomas C. Gale said his love for 1930s-era hot rods inspired Chryslers latest design triumph, the retro-styled Plymouth Prowler. Gale, who has a hotted up 1932 Ford in his garage approved the hotrod-inspired Plymouth Prowler as the companys follow-up show-stopper to the Dodge Viper. An early influence is credited to a Chrysler-sponsored project at the Art Center College of Design. This resulted in a thesis by Douglas Chip Foose, which included drawings of a retro-roadster. Foose designed it as a coupe for Chrysler to begin with but modified it to a roadster version. One of the most striking design features of the Prowler is the open, Indy racer-style front wheels. The Prowler featured a powertrain from Chryslers LH-cars, a 24-valve, 3.5 L Chrysler SOHC V6 engine producing 214 hp (160 kW; 217 PS) at 5850 rpm. For the 1999 model year, the engine was replaced with a more powerful, aluminum-block, 253 hp (189 kW; 257 PS) at 6400 rpm version of the engine. Both engines were coupled to a four-speed Autostick automatic transmission. The transmission was located at the rear of the vehicle and joined to the engine by a torque tube that rotated at engine speed, an arrangement similar to that used by the C5 Corvette, Porsche 944, and Alfa Romeo 75, and helped to facilitate a desirable 50-50 front-rear weight distribution. The Prowler was the first rear-wheel drive Plymouth since the 1989 Plymouth Gran Fury and would stand as the last Plymouth model with that layout. While criticized for having only a V6 engine, Chryslers High Output 3.5 had a horsepower rating similar to (or higher than) the companys Magnum V8s of that era. While not making nearly as much torque as a V8, Prowlers lightweight helped to achieve rapid off-the-line acceleration. The car prominently featured aluminum construction, in many cases adhesively bonded, chiefly in the chassis. The body was produced in Shadyside, Ohio, and the car was assembled by hand at the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant (CAAP) in Detroit, Michigan. This beautiful 2-owner example comes with great standard equipment like A/C, AM/FM/CD stereo, Manual Convertible top, Power Brakes, Power steering, Power door locks, Power windows, Anti-Lock brakes, Tilt wheel, Leather interior and radial tires. This 1999 Plymouth Prowler is for sale in our Detroit Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:
Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is excited to offer for sale this snazzy Grabber Blue 1972 Ford Mustang Convertible. Compared to 1971 production, in 1972 Mustang production dropped by over 25,000 cars. There were 57,350 coupes built, 27,675 were the Fastback Mach 1, 18,045 of the coupe Grande were produced, followed by 16,622 of the standard Fastback. The convertible production was lowest by far at only 6,121 units. This 1972 Mustang convertible appears very original, with the primary exception being the fact that the door data tag indicates it was originally Wimbledon White (code 9A). However, the Grabber Blue paint has been done so skillfully that one would be very hard pressed to tell that this Mustang may have had a color change. The addition of the Mach 1 style stripes further enhances the visual appeal of this Mustang. With what appears to be its original 2BBL-carburetor-equipped 302 CID V8 and C4 3-speed automatic transmission and 3.00:1 rear axle (code 6), this 72 is definitely a time capsule. The ComfortWeave white knitted vinyl seats (code CW) are a match for what is listed on the data plate, and they look super for being 48 years old. The black portions of the interior (dash, console, and carpeted surfaces) all have either been updated or have had very caring owners who did their best to keep this car in such good shape (we surmise the latter). The white automatic convertible top is the correct color and has also been very well looked after. This Grabber Blue Pony is riding on a set of Magnum 500 style chromed wheels which are also in great condition, and the BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires in sizes P235/60R15 up front and P245/60/R15 at the rear provide a good look and stable ride. A true dual exhaust adds a bit of muscular rumble, and the big chrome tips look just right. Occupants will appreciate the factory air conditioning (if the top is ever put up in warmer weather, that is), and the owner will be glad to know that the A/C has already been converted to use the now-required R134a refrigerant. Additional features and options on this 1972 Ford Mustang Convertible for sale include AM/FM Radio, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Raised White Letter Radial Tires, Seat Belts, Spare Tire and Jack, and Vinyl Interior. Our Detroit Showroom is proud to offer this gorgeous Emberglo Poly 1966 Ford Mustang “A Code. This is a very special car in several different ways. In the first place, it is an Emberglo exterior with Emberglo and Parchment pony interior. This is one of the most highly desirable color combinations there is for a Mustang. The problem is that this combination was only made in 1966. As a result, this car is a very sought-after car. This Mustang was optioned very well out of the box with a powerful 289CID V8 under the hood paired to a smooth shifting automatic transmission. It has a C-4 transmission, 3 speed cruise -O-matic drive which allows for effortless cruising in a super rare pony. This Factory A-code Mustang was built in December of 1965 in San Jose California. The Data Plate says 65B Trim 64 and Color V which indicates a 2-door hardtop in Emberglo with Emberglo and Parchment luxury interior bucket seats. The GT-Specifics like the fog lights in the grill, GT badges on the fenders and triple stripe on the rocker panels with dual exhaust coming through the rear valence are all correct. This beautiful Mustang also come with the correct 5-hole instrument panel and a gorgeous wooden steering wheel. This beautiful blue Mustang wont last long! Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1969 AMC AMX. The AMX is a two-seat GT-style sports car that was produced by American Motors Corporation from 1968 to 1970. The AMX was also classified as a muscle car but differed from other American cars at the time because of its short wheelbase. The name AMX is an acronym for American Motors eXperimental, which was a code assigned to concept vehicles in the mid-sixties. With a short three-year production run the AMX is one of the more exotic and rare muscle cars. This one makes quite the statement with its gunmetal shade of gray paint covering the cool and vintage bodylines. Under the hood of this beautiful car is a 390 V8 that produces a loud rumble that will turn heads every time the pedal hits the floor. The transmission is a 4 speed manual which really makes it thrilling to drive. If you want a wild and powerful muscle car with unforgettable looks and plenty of ponies under the hood this is the one you want to own. Options include spare tire, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior and rally wheels wrapped in radial tires.
