Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to present this rare and desirable 1966 Shelby GT350 Fastback Mustang. Documentation and known history are two important attributes for collector cars. This 1966 Shelby GT350, SFM6S2185, possesses plenty of both. As noted in the Shelby American Automobile Clubs Shelby Registry 1965-67, the GT350 was shipped from the Shelby American assembly facility in Los Angeles to Ford Motor Company in June 1966, then delivered to Courtesy Motors in Littleton, Colorado. In the 1970s, the Shelby was owned by a southern California detective who sometimes used this beauty as an undercover vehicle. Since 1979, it has been in the hands of collectors to ensure it was cared for through the years. During the 1980s, it participated in west coast shows, including SAAC-6 and the Palo Alto Concours DElegance. From 1987 to 2013, the GT350 was owned by a private collector; a 1988 restoration resulted in numerous Best of Show awards, perfect scores from both SAAC and the Mustang Club of America, and features in several magazines. Super Ford magazine named it the best Shelby of the year for 1989. The Guardsman Blue GT350 retains much of its original equipment, including the factory-installed 4-speed transmission and matching-numbers 289 Hi-Po V-8 that was modified to Shelby specs for 306 horsepower. Like all 1966 GT350s, the car was delivered to Shelby American as a K-code Mustang fastback, then upgraded with a Cobra aluminum intake with Holley carburetor, Tri-Y headers, Koni shock absorbers, rear traction bars, 15-inch wheels, dash-mounted tachometer, competition seat-belts and wood steering wheel. Externally, the Shelby models differed from regular Mustangs with a fiberglass hood with scoop, Plexiglas rear quarter windows and side scoops. Only 2,378 were built in total. Orlando Mustang was tapped to complete a restoration on the car in 2014, which resulted in its winning Best in Class awards at the 2104 Keels and Wheels Concours DElegance and the 2015 Valero Show. It was featured in the July 2015 Mustang Times and displayed at the Bush Library from August to October 2016. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Chicago Showroom is excited to offer this 1971 Volkswagen Super Beetle. This beetle received a full frame off restoration about 15 years ago and has held up great over the years. The blue paint still shines great in the sun, and the manual sunroof makes this a great summer cruiser. In the rear lies a new 1600 CC duel Port motor from Mofoco. The engine is paired to a 4-speed manual transmission, and the noise is emitted through quad chrome tip exhausts coming out the rear. The gear box is tight and ready to go! The new engine was put in about 10 years ago by the current owner, and has about 1000 miles on it since being put in according to the owner. The engine has been beautifully dressed up in chrome that just pops against the blue exterior paint. Inside, the car has a clean refurbished interior with black vinyl and grey cloth insert seats. The Chrome VW seat belts add a nice touch in dressing up the interior. The odometer currently reads 45,106 miles which is claimed to be original by the current owner. It has disc brakes at all 4 wheels and great looking 15-inch chrome hub caps that look great with the chrome bumpers and blue paint. Above the windshield lies the stylish Sun visor that helps separate this beetle from the others. To help separate this Super Beetle from the rest is the clean California look windows. The CAL look results in a single window on the driver and passenger doors instead of the separate Valence or Quarter glass. The front headlights have been fitted with Chrome visors that glisten in the sun. Hop inside and either turn the key or use the fancy push to start button located on the center dash pop it into first gear and be ready to have a lot of attention on you. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this awesome white 1981 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 for sale in our Houston showroom. Camaro enthusiasts will appreciate the fact that this is an unmolested car. With the exception of a fresh high-end repaint (in its original color) and NOS decal kit, it has been very well-kept in its original condition. With roughly 82,000 actual miles on the clock, this Z28 has plenty of life left in it. Powered by its original 350 CID V8, the drivetrain is bone-stock, including the original carb and original GM TH350 3-speed automatic transmission in unrestored, original condition. The original exhaust system is intact - no modifications. The hood flaps open when you punch it, allowing for extra fresh air intake, and it certainly looks cool from the passenger compartment when you nail it! The owner has the original build sheet and owners manual, and a copy of the Virginia title documenting actual miles. The original space-saver spare tire is intact, as is the original jack. The brakes, belts, hoses, and fluid systems were replaced about 5 years ago, so this Camaro has plenty of life left in it. The interior is all original as well, including the red synthetic leather seating and red carpet; all of which is in very good condition. The original AM/FM/8-Track radio and speakers are also intact. Even the headliner is in great shape. Truly a fantastic example of a survivor car from a time when cars were basically disposable, this one is an awesome find. Additional features and options on this 1981 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 for sale include AM/FM/8-Track radio, Air Conditioning (factory), Positraction, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Raised White Letter Radial Tires, Rally Wheels, Seat Belts, Spare Tire and Jack, Seat Belts, and Vinyl Interior. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM/GTA SPE. In 1989 , the Trans Am GTA was equipped with a more powerful version of the turbocharged Buick 3.8L V6, originally developed for the Buick Regal Grand National, and the Turbo Trans Am (TTA) became the vehicle Pontiac supplied to pace the Indianapolis 500. Ultimately, 1,555 TTA replicas, rated at 250 hp, were produced for sale, five of those being test cars. But after Car and Driver magazine tested the car, logging a 0-60 mph run in 4.6 seconds, and a standing quarter-mile in 13.4 seconds at 101 mph, they called the 250 hp rating exceedingly modest, estimating the actual output to be closer to 300 hp. They also subsequently reported that it was the quickest 0-60 sprinter available in any US production-car showroom - at any price. Here we have one of those 1,555. With only one owner and 60,883 actual miles, this car is as nice as they get. The 3.8L Turbo V6 still pulls as strong as ever and the 4-speed automatic shifts smooth and easy. The paint and interior have little wear for being a 30 year old car, and you can easily tell this car is all original and unmolested. Options on this cool 1989 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM/GTA Spec include: AC, Aluminum Alloy Wheels with Radial tires, Anti-Lock Brakes, Anti-theft system, AM/FM radio with Cassette, Cruise, Lumbar Support, Leather Interior, Power Locks, Power steering, Power, Windows, Tilt Wheel and T-Tops. This 1989 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM/GTA SPE is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information please call our knowledgeable staff at (812) 294-1555 or email us at louisville@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer this 1981 Chevrolet Corvette for sale! It is a unique color and in great condition. It is even bench marked and gold certified. The owner brought us a beautifully kept 1981 Chevrolet Corvette with its numbers matching engine and transmission. Mileage on the car is only 24,550. Under the hood is the tried and true 350 small block followed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. The BENCHMARK process is not an easy one. Fewer than 5% or Corvettes attain this high honor and in order to do so the car must be an unrestored survivor. What you see on this car is 100% original and the owner has the paperwork to validate the awards. The exterior is a rarely seen Charcoal Metallic with silver seats on the inside. Take the T-tops off for sunny day drives and hit the road. The only thing this car needs is a new owner. The AC does work and blows cold and the window sticker and spec sheet are still available. This 1981 Chevrolet Corvette is for sale in our St. Louis Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1960 Lincoln Premiere for sale in the Milwaukee Showroom. Lincoln has had a long-standing reputation of producing luxurious American Cars and pretty much setting the standard on what it means to be a top-notch vehicle and this 1960 Premiere shows as a shining example of how that was executed back in the day. Although the Premiere came out in 1956 as a mid-level sedan under the Continental, by the time the 1958-1960 body style came out the model was as big in comparison as the Cadillac Sixty-Special of equivalent years. The later and last year of the Premiere was 1960 before the name would be used as a high trim package descriptor and this car featuring power seats, power locks, power windows, and power steering shows that this car was ahead of its time with technology and features despite its original intention as a mid-level car in the lineup. The Lincoln propels its large body along with a 430 cubic inch V8 which is attached to a 3-speed automatic transmission providing plenty of torque to this massive land yacht. This 1960 Lincoln Premiere is available at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in person, it can be seen at our Milwaukee Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to present this very low mileage 1978 Chevrolet Corvette Indianapolis 500 Pace Car Edition. The 1978 Indy 500 Pace Car marked the first time a Corvette was chosen as the pace car for the Indy 500, and happened to be the 25th anniversary of the Corvette. This extremely well-cared for Corvette was purchased by its second owner in 1981 and has remained in the family since then. Powered by its original (numbers-matching) L82 350 CID small block engine, backed by its original TH350 3-speed automatic, this cars odometer is showing what the owner states to be 9258 original miles. The L82 was the performance-oriented choice over the L48 option, and in 1978 was putting out 220HP (vs 185HP for the L48). Only 6,502 Indianapolis 500 Pace Car edition Corvettes were built, ensuring that they will continue to become harder to find as time goes on and more of them go by the wayside. The Pace Car editions special black over silver paint scheme is highlighted by a red pin stripe just below the separation line between the black upper and silver lower and mimics the red accent line at the outer edges of each of the special slotted aluminum wheels. The Pace Car editions also got a special silver interior, which included seats that were originally designed for the upcoming 1979 model year Corvettes. Silver mirrored glass T-tops topped off the black and silver color theme. The 1978 Pace Car Corvettes also had a special VIN numbering sequence, which was also another Corvette first. This car tracks straight as an arrow and sounds fantastic. This 1978 Corvette Indy 500 Pace Car will have you longing to make it to the weekend so you can take it out for a spin! Additional features and options on this 1978 Corvette Indy 500 Pace Car include cold Air Conditioning, Aluminum Wheels, AM/FM/Cassette Radio, Cruise Control, Glass T-tops, Leather Interior, Power Brakes, Power Locks, Power Steering, Power Windows, Radial Tires, Rear Window Defroster, Seat Belts, and Tilt Wheel.
