Description:

For sale in our Nashville Tennessee showroom is a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette. But not just any 1969 Corvette, this one has had the entire book thrown at it. What book you ask? The book of body modifications. Lets start at the front end. Under the L-88 hood is a massive 454 Big block with just the right performance upgrades like, Edelbrock performer intake topped with a Holley four barrel carburetor. H.E.I distributor handles the power duties. Now for the body mods! It is hard to see any body modifications other than the Mako shark front end, but if you know where to look and just what a normal 1969 Corvette from the factory should look like, you will begin to see the work and skill it took to make this car. The Mako shark front end flows smoothly into the front wheel flares that follow the original body lines so closely that without another Corvette close by, it is all but impossible to see. The flares around and over the rear tires has been done just as skillfully and the body lines there lead you to the back of this car where you will see right away 1969 Pontiac Trans Am tail lights that have been frenched into the back of this car and into the extended rear end that must have hundreds of hours of molding and sanding. Custom grill, side pipes and custom paint the list goes on and on. Needless to say this is a rolling, driving work of art that is a lot of fun when you slam your right foot down! Option for this 1969 Mako Shark for sale: Air conditioning, AM/FM radio W/ compact disc player, T-tops, Power steering, Power brakes, Seat belts, Vinyl interior, and radial tires.A $237.37 document fee will be added to the sales price. All purchases may be subject to any applicable tax, title, & licensing fees. For more information call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or email us at nashville@gatewayclassiccars.com http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/NSH/511/1969-Chevrolet-Corvette

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is excited to list this two of a kind 1963 Corvette Custom Split Window Coupe known as The Outer Limits This thing was built and restyled by Farhner custom shop of Kansas City, MO from a brand new factory split window coupe that had less than 100 miles on it and completed in late 1963. The wheel wells were radiused and the fender tops were heightened and finned outward. Shaved door handles were replaced with electrical solenoids. Side pipes were added along with a custom screw gear mechanism to open the hood for show car displays. It was featured in Rod and Custom magazine. Paint is White Pearl with White leather interior with contrasting Red carpet and an asymmetrical modified dash. A shooting star theme can be seen on the headliner and 5-star custom wheels, This car was restored in the 1970s and upon completion shown at the Car Craft Street Machine Nationals. The under car and chassis are absolute jewelry!!! Thousands of dollars were spent on custom chrome plating. Motor is a high performance V8 that runs very strong backed-up by a Muncie 4 speed and 3.36 posi-traction rear end. Documented with a detailed build sheet and old display photos. Build cost would surely exceed 200 thousand dollars in todays money. Outer Limits was sold to Robert and Margie Petersen of the Peterson Museum where it was displayed for many years becoming a Los Angeles icon. Fresh out of the museum circuit, this car has been recently inspected and serviced by a renown Corvette L.A. area Corvette specialist. Production date of March 15th, 1963 and delivered new by Ed Roberts Chevrolet in Bonner Springs, KS (dealer code 711 in zone 5) per the official NCRS/GM Shipping Data Records (SDR). This car is kind of ugly BUT a very Kool kind-of-ugly!! Old customs seldom die as seen with many other Barris inspired cars of the 50s, 60s, and 70s. This car is not intended for anyone wanting to drive or fiddle with a Corvette on weekends. Neither is it intended for anyone wanting a restored 100-point piece of Bloomington or NCRS jewelry. It is intended for the passionate automotive connoisseur or historian who can appreciate historically significant customs from the 1950s and 1960s. Dont let this piece of history slip away from you! Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. This is one bad machine! Power comes from a Super Charged 416 cubic inch LS3 making a whopping 756 horsepower! The engine is from Wegner Motorsports and features a Callies forged rotating assembly, LSA cylinder heads, TPIS 102mm throttle body, custom camshaft to work with the blower, 2.9 Whipple blower with air to water sandwich intercooler, external heat exchanger and a hidden Bosch pump. Adding some flare to this awesome engine is a set of Wegner billet valve covers painted Charcoal Gray to match the giant blower. It is truly amazing how driver friendly these high horsepower cars are today. If you wanted 700+ horsepower from a big block from the 60s, you would be running high compression, lots of fuel and a camshaft that would hate life under 4,000 RPM. This work of art starts on the first try, runs on pump gas and is a breeze to drive. It makes power right off idle. This beautiful power plant is worthless without a transmission built to handle the power. This transmission is ready for all 756 horsepower. 4L80E 4 speed automatic with overdrive, performance torque converter with lock up, a large external transmission cooler with a fan and a slick operating push button shifter from Performance Drivetrain Solutions. Aft of the transmission is a PST 3.5 aluminum driveshaft and back to a custom 12 bolt with 3.30 gears, upgraded 35 spline axles, 1/2 wheel studs and an Eaton limited slip. Making sure that everything is communicating with each other there are monitoring sensors for all the engine and transmission functions. There is also a USB connection for laptop tuning and gauge display. The suspension powder coated NOS F41 components and includes powder coated tubular front control arms, powder coated and boxed rear control arms and Viking Warrior double adjustable coil overs for the front and rear. Brakes are Wilwood 6 piston calipers up front and 4 piston calipers for the rear. Wheels are Billet Specialties 18x9 and 18x10 with Mickey Thompson drag radials out back. The restoration was a full frame off rotisserie and included a full new glass kit, restored original GM chrome and stainless, complete new factory wiring harness, NOS T3 headlights, NOS taillights and marker lights, all GM brackets, hinges and latches were blasted and powder coated. After a Walnut shell media blasting, the car was blocked numerous times and painted in a base coat/clear coat custom Silver paint finished off with 5 coats of clear. Inside is just as stunning as the rest of the build. Custom leather front and rear seats start things off. Legendary front and rear panels, custom package tray and Ultra leather for headliner and sail panels. The build was completed in July of 2016 and has covered a modest 488 miles. For more information on this show stopper, call 618-271-3000 or stop by our St. Louis showroom. To view 100+ HD photos and video, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com

1957 Chevrolet Bel Air for sale! Motorcar Classics is pleased to present this absolutely stunning and pristine 1957 Bel Air presented in Harbor Blue with blue interior. This Bel Air is one of the finest Bel Airs we have had the opportunity to represent. Purchased by Rick Henderick at a 2010 Las Vegas Barret Jackson auction this Bel Air was stored in a personal collection in Charlotte, North Carolina from 2010-2015. The current owner has owned the car for the past 4 years. The engine is a 283/283hp solid lift cam fuel injected. The transmission is a 3-speed column shift. A full rotisserie restoration was completed on the car around 2008 by the very well known Snodgrass Brothers. This Chevroler also won Super Chevy Gold Class, Best of Show, Outstanding Detail Winner (September 2008). The car is believed to be all numbers matching. While there is no documents to prove matching numbers on the motor. Hendrick presented the car as a Date Code correct motor as most are because pre-1960 they were just no documents at the time. Our research shows the car to be true and the VIN# and options do check out. Your inspection is invited!

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this sharp looking 1997 Camaro Z28 30th Anniversary. 1997 marked the 30th year of production for the Camaro. For the occasion Chevrolet made just 979 examples of the 30th anniversary edition featuring a base white paint covered in twin orange stripes harkening back to the classic look of the 1969 Camaro Indianapolis 500 pace car. Powered by Chevy’s stout 5.7 L LT1 engine mated to a 4L60E transmission, this car is no slouch but even still this Camaro has been tastefully modified. The engine is sporting a 52 mm Holley throttle body, K&N intake, AFIS power fuel injectors, Hyper Tech power plus programmer and other upgrades all kept in check by a Be Cool aluminum dual core radiator. With hooker headers and a 3” Borla cat back exhaust this car sure sounds the part too. To handle all this power, the driveline is beefed up with a 2800 rpm stall TCI torque converter, Summit racing aluminum drive shaft and a Hayden transmission oil cooler and much more. This Camaro isn’t just about power though. Suspension upgrades include UMI performance rear control arms, BMR transmission torque arm, Mevo Tech upper/lower control arms and Gabriel strut assemblies making this Camaro handle like a dream. Description:

The 1994 Impala SS went into production on February 14, 1994, at GM's plant in Arlington, Texas,[31] and was almost identical cosmetically to the concept car, the only noticeable change being the chromed bowtie logo on the grill (vs a red logo on the concept). The car was, in essence, a high-performance version of the Caprice. It used the Caprice 9C1 police package as its base and as such got most of the equipment formerly available only to law enforcement and government agencies. This included a sport-tuned suspension with reinforced shocks and springs, a high-capacity reverse-flow cooling system (derived from the Corvette's LT1), four-wheel disc brakes, transmission cooler, dual exhaust, a higher-output electrical system, and other minor mechanical alterations. The Impala SS did not get the external oil-to-air engine oil cooler, nor were all the body mounts secured (the standard Caprice and Impala SS were assembled at the factory with the front three body mounts missing one of the rubber cushions, while the 9C1 was assembled with all rubber cushions in place).[citation needed]

The Impala SS was fitted with a standard 3.08 gear. The limited-slip rear differential was standard (as opposed to the option G80 on Caprices) and the suspension was an inch lower. A retuned LT1 5.7-liter (350 cu in) small-block V8 was standard on the Impala SS, making 260 hp (194 kW; 264 PS) and 330 lb⋅ft (447 N⋅m) of torque (retuned from the prototype's 300 hp (224 kW; 304 PS) rating). The primary difference between the LT1 in the Impala and the LT1 that was in the Corvette and Camaro was that the Impala engine was fitted with cast-iron cylinder heads instead of aluminum ones, and a camshaft that was designed more for low-end torque than high-end horsepower. Another difference was that the block casting for the Impala LT1 had two-bolt main bearing caps while the casting used for the Corvette LT1 had four-bolt main bearing caps. The transmission was the 4L60E, which was an electronically controlled version of the previously hydraulically controlled 4L60. However, the transmission was not beefed up for the power of the LT1, and transmission failures after 100,000 miles (160,000 km) were commonplace.[citation needed]

The Impala SS received body-colored trim, a unique single-bar grille with no hood ornament, and a rear deck spoiler. It was fitted with 17-inch (430 mm) brushed aluminum wheels with 255/50ZR17 all-season Z-rated tires. Inside, the car came with a central console with cup holders (1994 and 1995 models) and a storage compartment, leather seats embroidered with the Impala SS logo, and a standard leather-wrapped steering wheel. For the 1994 model year, it was available only in black with a gray interior. Due to a shortage of the unique five-spoke aluminum wheels, only 6,303 cars were sold. However, the wheel shortage was remedied for the 1995 model year and 21,434 cars were sold.

In 1995, Dark Cherry Metallic and Dark Grey Green were added as exterior color options, and the body paneling on the rear quarter panel was altered to reflect the cosmetic effect formerly achieved by a window insert. Another change from 1994 was the placement of the side mirrors from pods attached to the door to a larger format attached to the 'A' pillar. 1996 was the last year of production with 41,941 units sold. The 1996 Impala SS was also exported to the Middle East as the Caprice SS with the car being identical to its American counterpart except for the side fonts on the rear quarter panel and the badge on the dashboard saying Caprice SS. The 1996 Impala SS production went late into the model year; the last one being produced on December 13, 1996. It saw minor interior alterations, with the digital speedometer being replaced by an analog one, along with a tachometer. The shifter was moved from the column to the center console, and the engine was given an OBD-II computer control system (the camshaft was reground to adjust for the new computer).

Description:

This 1987 Chevrolet S10 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The S10 pick up has been used by Hot rodders for years now. With the aftermarket making the drop in of a small block easy it’s no wonder they have become so popular. This 87 has never been in accident making for a rare find. With that said the body was extremely straight making it a great candidate for this tricked out paint job. The purple is slick and with a great amount of flake while the flames break it up and give it a that full show truck look. With the roll pan on the back and the matching painted bumper up front the truck is as smooth as they come. The clear tail lights finish off the custom touches. Inside the interior is clean with minimal custom touches like the gauges mounted in the dash. Open the hood and you realize what this truck is about. The small block sits nicely between the rails with a chrome dress up kit giving it a clean look. Once you hit the key and she comes to life you begin to realize it’s not just your average 350. A nice size cam is evident by the nice lope at idle and the street dominator intake with the Edelbrock carb is the perfect match. Letting those gases breath is a set of custom headers that run straight back through the true dual exhaust. The built TH350 handles all the power nicely while the ford 9” rear end puts the power to the ground. The hardened axles are a welcomed addition and allow for some nasty worry free burnouts. If you have been looking for a fun ride to take to cruises or even show off, this 87 is a great choice while not breaking the bank. Options on this 1987 Chevrolet S10 Small Block include Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires.
