Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1986 Mercury Capri. ASC American Sunroof Corporation, now known as American Specialty Cars, produced several conversions of Mercury Capris from 1984 to 1986. Along with convertible conversions, hatchbacks were restyled (renamed as coupes by the company). Of only 245 total McLarens built that year, this White Convertible with a tan top and tan leather interior is one of only 12 that were produced with these options in 1986 making this car rare as well as cool. This car is believed to be a 1-Owner all original version. The Motor is a 5.0L V8 being backed by a 4-Speed automatic transmission. This car looks very good in its Oxford white original color paint and with its tan leather interior. These might have been the Mustangs little brother, but they sure did hold their own in the 80s when McLaren got ahold of them. Options on this 1986 Mercury Capri include: AC, AM/FM w/Cassette, Auto Convertible Top, Spare Tire, Cruise, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Locks, Power Windows, Tilt, Wheel, Seat Belts, Leather Interior and Aluminum Alloy wheels with Radial Tires. This 1986 Mercury Capri is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this 1976 MG B. The MGB is a two-door sports car manufactured and marketed from 1962 until 1980 by the British Motor Corporation (BMC), later the Austin-Morris division of British Leyland, as a four-cylinder, soft-top sports car. It was announced and its details first published on 19 September 1962. All MGBs were fitted with 11-inch (280 mm) solid (non-ventilated) disc brakes on the front with drum brakes on the rear. The front brake calipers were manufactured by Lockheed and used two pistons per caliper. A single-circuit hydraulic system was used before 1968 when dual-circuit (separate front and rear systems) were installed on all MGBs to comply with US regulations. Servo assistance (power brakes) was not standard until 1975. Powering this pretty blue MG is a Inline 4 Cylinder backed by a 4-Speed Manual transmission. Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. This is a well-maintained and fresh riding vehicle repainted in a tasteful Torch Red. Under the hood is a rebuilt and bored 350 with a rebuilt 700R4 transmissions. Mileage on the rebuild is an ideal 2,000 miles. In spots where rust tends to be a problem the current owner had that cut out and fresh metal put in. A lot of the work was done within the last 5 years. Part of the list includes rebuilt front suspension, added rear sway bar, 15 rally wheels, converted to R-134 refrigerant, and rechromed bumpers. Description:

For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a lowered, 3rd generation 1985 Chevrolet C10. This C10 is finished in bright red exterior paint, that was applied about 2 years ago. The red color is perfect for this style of build, it screams race ready. The 20” Boss aluminum/alloy wheels provide the perfect stance and look to the truck as well. Powering this 85’ C10 is a cammed up 355 CID V8 engine that has been dressed up very nicely. Pop the hood and you will see a chrome Edelbrock air cleaner on top, look a little closer and you will find the Holley carburetor, aluminum intake, Moroso plug wires, and Wheeler Motorsports valve covers. Headers flow to the full exhaust that create a truly awesome sound to this 355 V8. A TH-350 automatic with stall converter transfers the power to the 10 bolt rear end. The black interior is features white faced gauges, a cloth bench seat, and a few other aftermarket goodies. A black vinyl Tri-Fold bed cover protects the painted bed floor and provides a low profile appearance. Chevrolets third generation C/K Series ran from 1973 to 1987, and sported an all new design. Officially known as the Rounded-Line generation, the third generation looked like nothing else on the road at the time of its debut. The rounded lines included rounded cab roof, sloped rounded doors, rounded windshield corners, rounded front fenders, and rounded bed corners which made possible the rounded taillights. The rounded design was incorporated in an effort to improve aerodynamics and to improve fuel efficiency. Also known as the Square Body design, although not an official nickname since it did not originate from General Motors. The odometer on this C10 reads 1,044, which represents the mileage put on the truck since the build was complete. Options for this 1985 Chevrolet C10 include: AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Windows, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Cloth Interior, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. This is a great example of a hot rod C10 pickup that looks good, runs good, and will certainly draw a crowd. Description:

This C-10 is truly one of a kind! It is a completely custom build with attention to detail everywhere you look. The C-10 designates that it is a two wheel drive half ton pickup which became one of Chevrolet’s best-selling vehicles. This truck in particular features a 350 cubic inch V8 engine with a few performance modifications and is hooked up to a turbo 350 automatic transmission. The box of the truck is covered in a marine grade cloth that keeps the bed protected and provides a finished look. Most trim pieces on the exterior have been removed including hiding the turn signals behind the billet grill simplifying the look and separating the style from the rest of the herd of C-10’s. The custom features don’t stop once you move to the interior featuring a two-tone tweed interior that is completely different than the original besides the gauge cluster and glove box. These trucks were built to be rough and tough while handling anything you throw at them. This C-10 has become a bit more civilized though with power brakes, power steering, and an excellent sound system. If you are looking for a classic Chevrolet pickup that can be enjoyed and driven without worry, this may be an excellent fit for you! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1967 Chevrolet C10 in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Now for sale in Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is this beautiful, ultra-low mileage 2002 Chevrolet Corvette. This is the coupe version of the LS1 5.7l powered Corvette featuring an excellent 4L60-E automatic transmission and 3:15 gears. The engine and transmission are original to the car, as you would expect from a car that has only done 25,080 since it left the factory over 15 years ago. The car is finished in the factory Light Pewter with a black leather interior. Options include air conditioning, AM/FM Bose stereo with 12 disc CD player, active handling, heated mirrors, fog lamps, heads up display, performance handling package, glass Targa 1 pc top, cruise control, power seats with lumbar, power brakes, steering, locks, windows and mirrors, anti-lock brakes, traction control, tilt and telescopic wheel, keyless entry, seat belts, driver and passenger airbag, run-flat radial tires, LSD and aluminum alloy wheels. The original window sticker has been preserved that shows the full options for the car, including the original $47,425 window sticker. This is a member of the C5 Corvette family that ran from 1997-2004. This was the first car to feature the all-new and legendary LS1 power plant from Chevrolet, which made 345hp in the beginning but was subsequently increased in 2001 to 350hp. It was the perfect blend of reliability, fuel-mileage and drivability, while simultaneously allowing for big power and a great aftermarket scene with a massive amount of performance upgrade options. The C5 is competitive in regards to 0–60 mph acceleration times with almost all premium sports cars of its era, including the Aston Martin DB7 Vantage, and the Ferrari 355. A composite of published performance numbers for the base-model coupé and convertible gives a 0–60 mph time of around 4.5 seconds, and a standing quarter-mile time of around 13.3 seconds at 108 mph (both times for a vehicle equipped with the 6-speed manual transmission). The C5 was a turning point for the Corvette. Undoubtably a future collectors item. This would make a fantastic example to hold on to. Don’t miss your chance to get behind the wheel of this one. Description:

Only 2 owners on the awesome little German sports car. She comes loaded with traction control, paddle shifters, CD player, M-Sport seats wrapped in leather, lumbar support, sunroof, and Z rated Michelin tires. The E46 M3, first introduced in October 2000, appeared worldwide with the new 3.2 L S54 M-tuned engine. It was only available in coupe and convertible bodies as the saloon version had been dropped. The E46 M3 was offered with a standard 6-speed Getrag transmission, but optionally came with a SMG drivelogic transmission. This is the standard 6-speed Getrag transmission with an electrohydraulic actuated clutch (no clutch pedal). Shifts are made via the SMG gear knob or the steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. The engine had a redline of 8,000 rpm. As with most M engines, the S54 again had 6 independent throttle bodies and this time electronically operated throttles. In the U.S., the E46 M3 came with similar engine output as the European version, unlike in the E36, whose engine was derived from the M50/52 series engine. Power was now at 333 HP due to close-coupled catalytic converters closer to the engine exhaust ports. In 2009, Road and Track magazine announced the 2006 M3 with the SMG transmission as its favorite sports car of all time. Description:

Up for sale now in our Houston showroom is this 1971 Buick Skylark Convertible. The Buick Skylark model was made in six production runs, for 46 years, over which the cars design varied dramatically due to changing technology and tastes and new standards implemented over the years. Created to mark Buicks 50th anniversary, the Roadmaster Skylark joined the Oldsmobile 98 Fiesta and Cadillac Series 62 Eldorado as top-of-the-line, limited-production specialty convertibles introduced in 1953 by General Motors to promote its design leadership. This second-generation Skylark convertible has been transformed to look like the ultimate Buick, the GSX. The GSX was Buicks answer to Pontiacs GTO Judge, Oldsmobiles 4-4-2 W-30, and Plymouths Hemi Cuda. This Skylark is equipped with the same 455 CiD V8 that came in the GSX that has been rebuilt with all new internals, balanced & blueprinted & features Fastlane Motorsports fuel injection system that has been tuned to the car. That monster of a V8 has only 2200 miles on it since the rebuild and it is paired to a 3-speed automatic transmission that has also been rebuilt and it shifts smooth and gives the car a sweet driving experience. The transmission has a stall speed torque converter installed on it for quicker launches. The car is shown in very nice yellow paint with matte black stripes on the side & of course the GSX hood with the stripes streaking down it. The body is in very good condition, straight & true. The bumpers, grill, trim, & emblems are also all in great shape. The car sits on its factory Buick 14-inch two-tone wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich tires with plenty of tread left on them. The convertible top new to the car, the car does not have the hydraulics hooked up so the top is currently manually operated, but can be converted back later if desired. The interior has been recently redone with the black vinyl seats (very comfortable), door panels, carpet, & dash are in like new condition. A small gauge cluster under the dash holds 3 gauges for engine management (oil pressure, battery voltage, & water temp). This GSX has a very cool feature called electronic exhaust cut outs that allows you to open the exhaust at the headers with the push of a button you will hear each & every power stroke of the engine when you want some noise! When you would like a quieter ride, you push the button again and it will close and flow out the tailpipes. If the car was not loud enough when you wanted it to be you also have a rocking stereo system throughout the car, featuring Kenwood CD player head unit that controls the JL Audio 1000 watt 5-channel amplifier that powers all the mid/high range speakers in the cabin of the car while also pushing the two 12-inch JL 12W3 subwoofers in the trunk. The car has undergone some recent service maintenance items have been performed on the car such as; new fan clutch, new 4-core aluminum radiator, new water pump, new control arms bushings, new idler arm, center link, tie rod ends, new heavy-duty clutch, new bands, resealed rear differential, new pinion axle seals, new axle bearings, new radiator & heater hoses, small items as well, & much much more. Other notable features include; power brakes, power steering, CD player with custom sound system, leather interior, seat belts, & more.
