Description:

The year was 1966 and there was a Texan in the White House, a guy named Andretti earned rookie of the year honors at last year’s Indy 500, and a former oilfield roughneck and retired chicken farmer named Carroll Shelby was building hot Mustangs. Fast forward to 2007 there is a Texan in the White House, a guy named Andretti earned rookie of the year honors at last year’s Indy 500, and a former oilfield roughneck and retired chicken farmer named Carroll Shelby is (once again) building hot Mustangs. These cars start life as a regular Mustang GT, built in the Flat Rock, Michigan assembly plant, and is then shipped to the Shelby factory in Las Vegas for the transformation to a Shelby GT. When it comes out the other side, the 4.6-liter V-8 makes 319 horsepower, a gain of 19 ponies over a Mustang GT. This specific pony boasts a Ford Racing Whipple W140AX 2.3 Liter twin screw intercooled supercharger. Extra hardware includes a cold-air intake; a slightly more aggressive engine computer tune, a high-flow exhaust; a welcome inch-and-a-half drop with stiffer shocks, springs, and anti-roll bars front and rear; and a short-throw Hurst shifter for the five-speed manual. This Shelby wears the Mustang GTs optional 18-inch wheels and P235/50ZR-18 BFGoodrich g-Force T/A all-season tires. The GT wears the GT-Hs brushed aluminum grille, and the hood gets a riveted-on scoop. You can view this 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this gorgeous 1968 Buick Skylark GS California. This is a true Skylark GS California, not a clone. However, it has been painted in the Skylark GSX motif. The black stripes have been masterfully painted on, and the entire yellow and black paint scheme has been clearcoated with numerous coats, leaving it glass-smooth. This 1968 Buick Skylark GS California underwent a rotisserie restoration at Diaz Classics in Corcoran, CA, which did the complete package. In addition to being a numbers-matching car, it also has all of its original body panels. A hood tach was added to enhance that muscle car look, as well. Pop the hood open, and youll find its original 350 CID V8, which is now topped by a FiTech Fuel Injection system, custom cast aluminum Buick valve covers and aluminum intake manifold. Backing the 350 is its original 2-speed Powerglide automatic, which was redone at the same time the engine was. The pulleys are all done in body color, and a big aluminum radiator with twin electric fans help keep the 350 running cool. A Davis Unified Ignition HEI distributor provides the spark delivery. Headers handle the exhaust scavenging, sucking those spent fossils out into a custom Pypes Performance dual exhaust system, and help give it both better breathing and providing a nice muscle car rumble out back. A SunPro 3 gauge cluster was installed in the dash to help monitor key engine functions, and it looks like it was made to be there. This 68 runs and drives like a true muscle car, and certainly better than it did when it was new. It has upgraded sway bars (both front and rear), and the unsprung weight has been reduced by adding custom rallye-styled aluminum wheels, which are wrapped in BF Goodrich gForce Sport Comp2 radials (245/45ZR-17 front, and 255/45-ZR17 out back). It is raw, powerful, and sounds great. The interior of this Skylark GS California is no different than the rest of the car, in that it is super clean, and sports some nice modern upgrades. The seats are tastefully done in cloth and vinyl, with custom GS embroidery on the front buckets. The restoration of this car was very well done, and provides the essence of what muscle cars are. When youre cruising in this bad boy you will not go unnoticed! Additional features and options on this 1968 Buick Skylark GS California for sale include: cold A/C, Aluminum Wheels, vintage-styled AM/FM Radio with Aux port, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Cloth and Vinyl Interior. Dont let your chance to own this muscle car slide by! Description:

This 1964 Chevrolet Impala is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Impala was the best-selling car in America until 1965 and it is easy to see why. The classic lines of the Impala are still sought after to this day. This example has lived an extremely pampered life, except for a fender, the metal on the car is all original. Repainted back to its factory correct ermine white 30 years ago. The lacquer paint is still in great shape with no sign of wear. The chrome is in just as good condition shining just as it should. The old school Torque Thrust wheels really give it an updated feel with the 17s helping to give it a modern look. Under the hood is the original 283 that still runs like it did in the 60s. The three-speed transmission that is operated by the shifter on the column really brings you back to a different time and can considered a theft deterrent in todays world. Inside the original interior is in great condition showing no signs of major wear. The dealer installed AC is original with the correct compressor being recently refurbished giving the unit a new lease on life. If you have been looking for a very original Impala that has been owned by only a couple people, this white classic is the one for you. Options on this 64 Impala include; AC, AM Radio, Seat Belts, Cloth/Vinyl Interior, and Alloy Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. Description:

This 1953 Packard Clipper is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Packard company was started in 1899 by the Packard brothers and their partner George Weiss who was a major stock holder for Winton cars. After the complaints of poor quality and reliability fell on deaf ears at Winton which pushed the guys to produce their first “horseless carriage “on November 6th 1899. Improving throughout the beginning of the turn the century until they closed their doors in 1958. The 50’s era Clipper has that iconic bubble style that people fell instantly fell in love with. This one of a kind 53 has took that great styling and put a modern spin on the rest of it. Starting with the one of a kind blue paint that covers the unbelievably smooth paint sheet metal. Giving a stark contrast from that blue is the white top that has the classic silver flake scattered throughout. Naturally attitude with cars is a big thing and a big factor in that is altitude. Well this Packard has you covered no matter what you’re in the mood for. Converted over to a 4 link in the back and bags all the way around the adjustability is literally endless. Roll into the next car show with the bags filled and everyone thinks oh that’s a nice Packer and looks nice. Once you hit the switches releasing all the air and this Clipper sits down giving it a whole new look. If that doesn’t get you enough attention just hit the 4 trumpet train horns and guaranteed everyone will know you have arrived. Open the door on this unique sedan and a fresh interior is staring you right back in the face. The bench seat is super comfortable and looks like it should be in there with the pattern mimicking the outside. The straight 8 under the hood is believed to be original and is one of the smoothest motors that I have come across. With the electrical system being converted over to a more modern 12V system there should be no problem running all the cool modern stuff including that compressor. If you want a cool classic that is sure to get attention from young, old and in between this 53 Clipper is a great candidate. Options on this 1953 Packard Clipper include, Cloth Interior, Wide White Wall Tires and Air Ride Suspension. For more details on this 1953 Packard Clipper, please call our Louisville Showroom at 812-294-1555, or email Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a 1967 Pontiac Tempest. From 64-67 the Tempest was Pontiac’s mid-sized sedan with varying trim levels. Behind the 326 is a three-speed manual transmission which is shifted on the column. The car has a great look, painted all black, with the upgrade of a GTO hood. Description:

This 1986 K10 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The C/K series was the full-size truck line offered by Chevy from 1973 to 1988. Keeping the same basic design until 1981 when the gas crisis called for a redesign to make them more aerodynamic. The design would carry thru until 1988 when the next generation was released. This K10 series 4-wheel drive is a far cry from what it was when it left the factory. The most noticeable thing must be that bright blue paint which is in excellent shape with the truck being used mainly for shows since its creation. Its slick and looks amazing with the clear coat giving it that deep look. The stance was courtesy of 4-inch suspension lift which gave the truck plenty of clearance and that aggressive look. The 35X13.5-inch tires have been mounted on an 18-inch rim giving it a very modern appearance which is well suited for this truck. Under the hood is a powerful 454-big block that has been given a couple upgrades. Putting out more than 600HP which has been verified by the Dyno this thing is amazing. A set of Merlin heads not only look good on there but are some of the best in the industry. The huge headers are running into a true dual exhaust system that allows this big block to be heard long before it is seen. The turbo 400 transmission has been built to handle the power with a 3500-stall allowing for the 626 FTLB of torque to be applied. The Gm 14 Bolt rear end has been filled with a set of 4.56 gears giving this truck some of the craziest low-end torque I have seen. Jump up in the cab and you will see a very tasteful back to original style. The gauge POD has been replaced with a set of Pro Comp gauges that allow for accurately monitoring all the vitals on this powerful drivetrain. If you have been looking for a remarkable truck that not only looks good but performs this 86 K10 is the one for you. Options on this 1986 K10 Big Block Truck include, AM/FM/Cassette, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Aluminum Wheels with Radial Tires.
