Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is proud to offer this sharp 1969 Mercury Cougar convertible. What more could you want in a 60’s muscle car than a V8 engine, convertible top, and it being painted a beautiful red color. The introduction of the Cougar finally gave Mercury its own pony car. Slotted between the Ford Mustang and the Ford Thunderbird, the Cougar was the performance icon and eventually the icon for the Mercury name for several decades. The Cougar was available in two models (base and XR-7). This Cougar badged as the upgraded XR-7. Powered by a Ford 302 V8 engine and paired to a 3-speed automatic transmission, this car can really move. The odometer reads about 56k miles, but the drivetrain was completely rebuilt 300 miles ago. Many service updates have been completed and documented with over $6,000 in receipts to keep this car driving correctly still to this day. The shocks, starter, value covers, radio, steering wheel, battery and etc were all replaced with new parts during the rebuilt. The exterior paint is in great shape and painted in a gorgeous red paint with a black hood scoop and spoiler. The white vinyl interior is very clean and shows minimal signs of wear. The power convertible top works smoothly and operates as it should. The style of this car is like any other ‘69 muscle car with its hideaway headlights, unique taillights, and spoiler in the rear. You will not be able to drive this car without heads turning as you drive by. Options include; Sony Radio with CD, Power convertible top, power steering, raised white letters on radial tires, seat belts and vinyl interior. The current owner has got to cherish this beautiful beast for many years and is now giving someone else the chance to do the same. Do not let this ’69 American Muscle car pass you by! Description:

For sale in our Dallas-Ft. Worth Showroom is a beautiful 1956 Ford Fairlane 4-door sedan. In 1955 the Ford Fairlane replaced the Crestline as Ford’s premier full-sized automobile. Six different body styles were offered with this new model including the Crown Victoria Skyliner with a tinted transparent plastic roof, the standard Crown Victoria coupe with lots of stainless steel trim, a convertible Sunliner, the Victoria hardtop coupe, and traditional sedans. All the Fairlanes featured the trademark stainless steel “Fairlane stripe” on the side. Few changes were made for 1956, 1956 ushered in the four door Victoria hardtop, and although this isn’t the hardtop, this one of the nicest four doors you will probably ever see. The lacquer paint still smells fresh inside and out on this beautiful restoration. You will most certainly get the looks at car shows when you show up in this 1956 Ford Fairlane 4 door. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando Florida is proud to present this mint condition 1976 Chevrolet Scottsdale pickup. Sitting under the hood of this classic Chevrolet is a powerful number matching 350 cubic inch V-8 engine that is mated to a turbo 400 automatic transmission. This truck is basically a time capsule and has been well maintained since day 1. It features A/C, Power steering, power brakes, am/fm cassette radio. The odometer reads a little over 18k miles on this beautiful Black truck with Red Vinyl interior. An all-new clean sheet redesign of General Motors Chevrolet and GMC brand C/K-Series pickups débuted in mid-1972 for the 1973 model year. Development of the new third-generation trucks began in 1968 with vehicle components undergoing simulated testing on computers before the first prototype pickups were even built for real world testing. The redesign was revolutionary in appearance at the time, particularly the cab, departing from typical American pickup truck designs of the era. Aside from being near twins, the Chevrolet and GMC pickups looked like nothing else on the road. The third-generation trucks are colloquially known as the Square-body or Box-body generation. This is the one you want to own. This 1976 Chevrolet Scottsdale is for sale in our Orlando Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

The Jeep CJ5 is an iconic short-wheel base, go-anywhere 4x4! But just because it can get you deep into the wild, doesnt mean it shouldnt look nice out on the town also. Thats why the new Yellow and Black radiates no matter if the sunlight finds it at the campsite or the corner market. Don’t let the shiny paint job of this Jeep fool you though, it has been frame off restored to be a upgraded version of its factory condition. One of our favorite parts is the amount of work the owner has taken to power coat MANY parts of this thing to keep it looking good while still rugged. Climbing into the new 3R-Racing seats you’ll notice they are just as comfortable as they look. Surrounding the seats is a collection of correct Jeep parts complete with a roll bar The bikini top also coordinates in black for a terrific total look. The correct Stock/Upgraded look continues under the hood with the reinforced aluminum valve cover and air cleaner radiating from within the engine bay. But more than just for looks, the 258 cubic-inch inline-six motor is a long established power plant for Jeep and this one runs like a top! It has proven its reliability, and it continues to have easy parts availability. Torquey and robust, this is the engine you want pulling through daily traffic or the worst slop Mother Nature can throw at you. And the stainless header that feeds the exhaust upgrades the motors soundtrack nicely. The four-speed manual transmission gives you full control as it feeds the two-speed transfer case and seriously beefy Dana 44’s at both ends. 3:73 gears and low range give it rock-crawling stability, but thanks to the modern BFGoodrich mud-terrain tires and front disc brakes, its comfortable in the urban scene, too. This Jeep has been meticulously restored and needs to be seen in person to be truly appreciated. Since the build has been completed it has NOT been taken off-road but with that being said it is ready to tackle any adventure you can throw at it. You can view this 1981 Jeep CJ5 in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Description:

This 1947 Plymouth Street rod is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. In 1947 America was still glowing over its victory in world war 2. The Factory’s were almost back to full production and people had money. The 47 Plymouths symbolized all of this with there sleek fat fender designs and incredible dash with the elegant gauges. This 47 has kept all the features but with modern touches that give it a very custom look. Outside the Copper paint looks great and not something you would find on stock 47. The custom wheels help to compliment the modern touches. Under the hood is not something you would have seen in 1947. The 440 CID big block is all Mopar and something not found in most street rods. With that big block upfront power steering was added to make turning this beast a lot easier. The 727 torq flite transmission is exactly what that big block needs. Drop it down into drive and let transmission due all the work. The shift from 1st to 2nd is nice and smooth with the final going to 3rd nice and smooth exactly like you would expect. Step inside and the interior is comfortable with the bench seat upfront being the perfect mix of old school flavor with a modern twist. The original gauges are still intact giving the dash that classic 40’s look. Options on this 1947 Plymouth Street rod include; AC, AM/FM/Cassette, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Cloth Interior and Radial Tires with Raised White Letters on a set of Rally Wheels. Gateway Classic Cars ins proud to present this beautiful 1957 Mercury Commuter for sale in our Detroit Showroom. 1957 was the first year for the Mercury Commuter and it was available until 1968 when all three station wagon models were discontinued. This 1957 Mercury Commuter is one exceptional ride. Powered by an updated 351CID V8 Windsor crate motor that was brand new and has less than 1000 miles, this Commuter is more like a rocket ship. The V8 sounds so healthy running through the dual Flowmaster exhaust setup. The strong 351CID V8 is backed by a smooth shifting 3-speed automatic C6 transmission and stock rear differential. The car is painted in a very appealing light blue and white and sports the more desirable 1958 front clip. These colors just speak to this car and fit so appropriately for the era the car originally resided in. Typically, 1950’s technology is not the greatest when it comes to overall performance; however, with this Commuter, there has been a multitude of upgrades. One in specific is the front wheel disc brake conversion which will undoubtably get this big rig to a halt in a hurry. The interior of the car is well kept and comes in a great black and white combination. This car is meant for you to enjoy it with many others and can fit in upwards of 6 people! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1963 Ford Fairlane 500. This car can transport you back to the end of the Jet-Age design era for automobile history, and it will do it in style. The 63 Fairlane was a closer to a shrunken down Galaxie than anything else. The front end was a spitting image of the Galaxie while the rear retained the small tailfins giving it a unique look. This example is extremely nice and with the modifications it has can be driven daily in comfort. The body is straight, with no signs of filler a magnet will stick no matter where you put it. The paint was laid on with a precision touch giving the car a show quality finish. Under the hood is a 351W that has been built using some high-end components. Starting with a comp roller cam and a set of Hi Po heads, this 351 sings at higher RPM’s. The Weiand intake and Holley 650-barrel feed the setup a perfect mixture of gas and air giving this 351 a good amount of power. Hooked up to a Tremec 5 speed you now have that extra gear for when your running down the interstate. The rear end is a sturdy 8.8 with 31 spline axles making it durable enough for this setup. The Cal-Trac setup eliminates any worries of wheel hop with the chromoly frame ties there just in case. The Fatman Mustang II style front end keeps the car nice and straight during those straight-line cruises while making those back-country roads a blast to carve up. The 4-wheel disc setup allows for much better pedal feel not to mention cutting the distance in probably half. The interior of the car is comfortable and with the addition of AC and heat this truly is a car you can use all year round. If you have been thinking about getting a great classic that is not quite your mainstream car but still unbelievably cool this 63 Fairlane is the car for you. Options on this 1963 Ford Fairlane 500 include, AC, AM Radio, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and a set of Custom Wheels Wrapped with Radial tires. This 1963 Ford Fairlane 500 for sale is in our Indianapolis Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

For sale in our Dallas-Ft. Worth showroom is a 1967 Ford Mustang. With a quick look at this 1967 Mustang, with its light blue body, white hardtop, and white striping, anyone can see that this is a killer example of an American icon. 1967 saw the first redesign of Ford’s massively successful pony car. The body was enlarged, while keeping the same wheelbase, allowing for big block engine offerings, front and rear end styling was more pronounced and aggressive, and instrument panel offered a thicker crash pad, and larger gauges. The body styles were carried over from the previous year, offering hardtop, fastback, and convertible options. Along with the light blue and white two tone exterior, this Mustang features a matching light blue interior as well. A 289 CID V8 can be found under the hood powering this pony, and that power is fed through an automatic transmission. All of these factors put together add up to a car that not only looks amazing, but drives as good as it looks too. To view this 1967 Ford Mustang in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit: www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is excited to present this customized Mustang GT Saleen Tribute car. This Mustang GT was born a relatively tame muscle car. That didn’t stop the owner from turning this GT into a beast. This Mustang was taken to JDM Engineering for its performance makeover. First was the installation of the Saleen supercharger. This coupled with a host of other Saleen goodies contributed to the original 281ci engine to put out big numbers on the Dyno. Since the engine was beefed up by JDM Engineering, just 4,500 miles have been put on it. Only 47,789 actual miles have been put on this muscle car since day 1. Other upgrades to the Mustang engine include an XCal Tuner with JDM tune, JDM air kit, 9mm Lightning MAF, MAF Harness, upgraded injectors, upgraded upper pulley, a Gates belt, C&L Racer tube, Vacuum line upgrade kit, Auto Light spark plugs, Saleen fuel system, 2005/2006 Cut Motor Mounts, Black Mustang Valve Covers, upgraded oil filter, and engine paint. Brakes were also upgraded with Erad Speed Saleen Brake 2 piece rotors in front and rear with a complete Saleen front brake kit. These rotors are 14 inches up front. The engine breathes out through a Borla Exhaust System. The clutch and flywheel were upgraded as well. There is a Spec 2 clutch kit and aluminum racing flywheel and new pilot bearing. A significant number of cosmetic upgrades were applied to this GT. A Saleen Conversion was completed including right/left GT fenders and a Saleen fiberglass hood with radiator hold down and hood pins. The interior seat skins were redone with black leather outers and red leather inserts. There is a Kenwood head unit installed making for an excellent sound system with the Shaker subwoofers. This GT has upgraded chrome wheels that look great with the body work. Last but certainly not least, the automatic convertible top works great and adds to the unique look of this Mustang. The list of upgrades to this mustang is a long one, but no expense has been spared on this beauty. This Saleen Tribute has the following features: air conditioning, AM/FM radio, CD player, cruise control, driver side lumbar support, power brakes, power steering, power locks, drive side power seat, traction control, tilt wheel, keyless entry, power mirrors, anti-theft system, a leather interior, racing wheels, and posi-traction. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this Incredible 1987 Buick Regal Grand National. This Grand National has only 34,574 actual miles, per owner and presents an amazing original appearance. The 1987 Grand National was the last year for this extraordinary version of the Buick Regal and featured the best performance of all Grand Nationals, besides the very limited and costly GNX. Published road test from the era consistently showed the Grand National out performing Mustangs, Camaros, Corvettes and even a few European sports cars from the day. Even driven today, the shove in your back once that boost kicks in is still tremendous. The main component responsible for the Grand National’s stunning performance was its turbocharged V6. This engine featured 3.8 liters of displacement force fed by a single turbo charger generating 355lb-ft of torque at a low 2000 rpm per published reports at the time. This Grand national has also had the following upgrades added: 3” Air Mass System, 3” Down Pipe, 2.5” Stainless Up Pipe, Stainless Exhaust, 72mm Throttle Body Plenum, Power Plate, Turbo Tweak Chip, 42lb-009 Injectors, Boost Controller, Coil Pack and spark plugs. The exterior of this car is still just as buick intended with its glossy black paint and blackout trim creating a very menacing look. The overall quality of this Buick’s exterior definitely supports its incredible low mileage of 34,574. Inside, the “Lear” seats are covered in grey and black cloth upholstery showing very little wear, separated by a sporty center console. The dash, door panels, carpet and headliner also appear in excellent condition. The AC unit was recently replaced and blows ice cold. This Grand National has also had its window and door seals recently replaced which will ensure its gorgeous interior stays that way. Recent published reports definitely show the value of these Grand Nationals really starting to climb, so call GATEWAY CLASSIC CARS today and park this AWESOME 1987 Grand National in your garage. To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this 1987 Grand National, please visit GatewayClassicCars.com.
