Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to feature this cherry red 1999 Pontiac Firebird Firehawk in the Milwaukee Showroom. There have been quite a few renditions of the F-Body Firebirds and Camaros that have been stand-out models that never failed to impress including the Formula, WS6, and the Z28. Among the sub models there were a couple that were factory modified by SLP Performance. On the Camaro side of things, you had the SS, which was a Z28 with an updated intake system and a 6-speed manual transmission in place of the 5-speed on manual models. The Firebird got a similar treatment as the SS, and they called it the Firehawk. This car came with the mighty and legendary LS1 V8 under the hood bolted up to a smooth shifting, easy to use 4L60E automatic transmission. The amazing engine breathes out to a quad tipped exhaust singing a throatier than usual note courtesy of the modified exhaust system from the Firehawk package. The Pontiac, on top of being a special edition vehicle with low production number, ups its desirability by being a convertible with power top for when the weather is nice, and you want the wind through your hair. People will also notice the fiery red color set off by the yellow Firehawk graphics on the lower panels of the car. This Pontiac also comes loaded with features like air conditioning, a Cd player, power seats with lumbar support, power windows, power mirrors, keyless entry, tilt wheel, and cruise control making for this car to be the perfect summer cruiser ontop of being a reputable performance machine! This 1999 Pontiac Firehawk is at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in person, it can be seen at our Milwaukee Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144. This 1976 Chevrolet Corvette is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 1976 Corvette was met with a great customer response even if with its lack luster performance from its underpowered small block. This blue rocket has fixed that problem in a big way, 502 ways to be exact. The blue paint is what usually catches your eye when the car is parked. The pinstriping helps to break it up while giving it more of a custom look. The rare fenders have been flared out to accommodate those huge tires in the back giving it a that huge footprint. Under the hood is the star of the story, the 502 engines. Brought directly from GM this 502/502 turn key kit is exactly what this 76 needed. With the internals being composed of nothing but forged parts this engine is built to take a beating. The high-rise aluminum intake with its matching oval port design is just another piece to this 502 HP puzzle. The matching aluminum heads are the last piece and complete this powerful puzzle. The matched up 4l80e transmission handles the power while giving the ability to cruise down the highway with its electronically controlled OD. Inside the interior has been treated to a custom bucket seats with the drag style shifter fit into the original console. Take the T-Tops off and you are sure to have a blast while enjoying the fresh air and sunshine while obeying all traffic signs of course. If you have wanted a beast of a ride that can go down the highway without turning 4000 RPM this 76 Corvette is a great choice. Description:

Now available in our Dallas Showroom is this 2006 Mercedes Benz SL600. Just 379 SL600 were produced in 2006. The Mercedes-Benz SL-Class is a grand touring car manufactured by Mercedes since 1954. The designation SL derives from the German Sportlich-Leicht, translating to Sports Lightweight in English. This Mercedes is certainly that, a lightweight machine, ready to cruise you around town in luxury. Its also capable of getting you there in a hurry if you desire, with its 5.5L V-12 engine. Fed by twin turbos with twin intercoolers, the SL600s SOHC 36-valve, 60-degree aluminum V-12 spools up 610 pound-feet of torque, maintaining that mountainous level from 1800 rpm to 3500 rpm, and 510hp at 5000rpm. The five-speed automatic offers a three-mode manumatic function, just as it does in the SL55, but with such an abundance of muscle, augmented by quick throttle response, it seems superfluous. When the driver wishes to summon haste, they only need to tramp on the pedal and the V-12 will mash them against the seatback in a flash. Speaking of seats, this vehicle comes with quality leather/vented seating capable of heating or cooling you and your passenger to the perfect temperature. Need more air besides the seats? Simply flick a switch and the hard-top is tucked away quickly, making those bright sunny days just a tad bit more enjoyable. Other options include: A/C, AM/FM-Radio & Cd player, Cruise Control, GPS, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Seats, Power Windows, Keyless Entry, Seatbelts, Anti-theft system, & Tilt Wheel. All in all this is a fabulous vehicle which was made to be enjoyed both in luxury and performance. We dont expect it to last long, so call today before you miss your chance. This 2006 Mercedes Benz SL600 is for sale in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For sale in our Atlanta showroom is this 1973 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible. This vintage, was the last year of a chrome rear bumper. This Corvette is equipped with the L-82 350 cu. in V-8 engine, mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. This Convertible is dressed in Yellow, with a Black top, and Brown interior. The consignor states she is a 3-owner car, hes owned since 1990, and kept all receipts for repairs hes made. It appears her Yellow paint was redone prior to his purchase, and would be best described as a driver. He states the 94,200-miles showing on the odometer are original, and she runs great. Maintenance wise, she has been updated with: timing chain, electronic ignition, coil, tune-up, wires, motor mounts, power steering unit, master cylinder, calipers, pads, rear brake line, front end bushings, fuel tank, straps, sending unit, fuel line, replaced intake manifold gaskets, thermostat, hoses, radiator, and the battery. This was all done from 1,000-,3000 miles ago - so you know youre set for putting some miles on the Convertible! It appears she was updated with a new Black top, as it looks good. The interior shows well for a 46-year old car, and shows some patina in some area. On the inside, revised door panels provided additional shoulder room in the C3s tighter cabin and headrests became standard. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is presenting a 1940 Cadillac for sale in our Philadelphia location. Some of Cadillacs most important engineering developments, and some of its most beautiful cars, appeared in 1940s. The engine of this automobile, with its advanced hydraulic valve lifters, is a 90-degree, L-head (flathead), 8-cylinder with a 3.50x4.50 bore and stroke, and a displacement of 346 cubic-inch, producing 135 horsepower. 1940 was the beginning of Cadillacs torpedo body styling and advancements such as sealed beam headlights and turn signal indicators. This original condition Cadillac is a true survivor. Originally done in a two tone Gray still with its original Black interior. The fuel system has been rebuilt as well as the brakes, including a new master cylinder and the ignition system. This Cadillac starts right up and runs quietly. This Cadillac is also equipped with an AM radio, cloth and leather interior and a newer set of wide white wall tires. Cadillac has been a standard for luxury automobiles in this country for over 100 years. This 1940 60 Series stands up to those standards and was one of Detroits best offerings for the day. To view this 1940 Cadillac Series 60 in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom. The first-generation Pontiac GTO models were produced in 1964-1974 and considered to have confirmed the muscle car trend with all four domestic manufacturers involved. In the 1964-65 model years, the GTO was an optional package for the Pontiac Tempest model or “Grand Tempest Option”. The GTO became its own model from 1966-1971. The GTO was selected Motor Trends “Car of the Year” in 1968. The GTO model was later revived from 2004-2006 as a rebadged Holden Monaro manufacturer by GM Monaro subsidiary in Australia. The GTO was equipped with 5.7L LS1 V8, the same engine found in the 2004 Chevrolet Corvette. Power was increased in the 2005-2006 models to 400hp and 400ftlbs of torque courtesy of the LS2 364.1cid powerplant. Equipped with its ori ginal 350 small block engine coupled to a Muncie M20 4-speed transmission, newer N11option exhaust, updated radiator and stainless stell brakes this C3 is built for speed. You’ll turn heads with the beautiful white exterior and chrome bumpers (1972 was the last year for chrome bumpers at both front and rear, the vacuum actuated pop-up windshield wiper door, as well as the removable rear window common to all 1968-72 coupes). The C3 is the third generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, and marks the second time the Corvette would carry the Stingray name, though only for the 1969 - 1976 model years. This time it was a single word as opposed to Sting Ray as used for the 1963 - 1967 C2 generation. The name would then be retired until 2014 when it was re-introduced with the release of the C7. Hurry to the Milwaukee showroom to see this 1972 Corvette Stingray before it’s gone! Description:

This SSR is only 1 of 2,288 made with the 400 horsepower 6.0 LS2 engine and, for added fun; it is also equipped with a 6-Speed manual! This stunning 2005 SSR has been maintained throughout its entire life by only two owners and drives like the way it did when it came off the showroom floor. The SSR was introduced to the public back in 2003 and was based off the late 40’s Chevrolet pickups with a few hot rod touches making this a completely new concept that grasped the attention of classic car enthusiast and gave hope that there would be more to come not just from Chevrolet, but all other companies. Unfortunately the idea didn’t last long and the SSR was discontinued after a short three years. This truck has been mostly untouched since new and only subtle touches added. The striking ghost flames on the front really add a hot rodders touch. The interior is spacious and comfortable even with the very cool retractable hard top up and features a premium Bose sound system that is powerful enough to provide excellent sound quality even with the top down. The LS2 and 6-speed manual is the topping on the cake with ample amounts of power and giving you the feel that you are driving a sports car rather than a pickup. If you are looking for something that is a head turning unique vehicle and don’t want to sacrifice reliability this is a great car for you. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 2005 Chevrolet SSR in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com.
