Now up for sale is this 2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS 35th Anniversary Edition Coupe located in our Houston Showroom. 2002 marked the 35th anniversary for Chevrolet’s flagship Pony car, the Camaro, which was first introduced in 1967 to compete with the runaway success that the Ford Mustang was having. To commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Camaro, Chevrolet released a special edition Z28/SS, which featured options like a catchy stripe package on the hood and trunk to compliment the bright Rally Red exterior. The car also features 35th Anniversary badges on the exterior and dash to let others know that this isn’t just any ordinary Camaro. The theme continues further, with the 35th Anniversary logo stitched into the front headrests, as well as a custom-embroidered padded leather parcel shelf cover, and SLP floormats, which give this Chevy a look that will stand out at shows. This 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28/SS 35th Anniversary Coupe is powered by its original 5.7L LS1 V8 and is backed by a Tremec 6-Speed manual transmission with only 978 actual miles!! With the 5.7L LSI V8 producing 325 horsepower, that is enough power to push you down the road in a hurry. The car has been kept inside a climate controlled warehouse its entire life. Factory options for this SS include the $3,625 SS Performance/Appearance Package (Forced Induction Hood, 17inch Aluminum Wheels, SS Specific Rear Spoiler, High Performance Ride & Handling Suspension with Bilstein shocks, and Low Restriction Quad-Tip Exhaust System), $1,700 Preferred Equiptment Group Package (Electronic Speed Control, Remote Hatch, Fog Lamps, Power Windows and Mirrors, Leather Steering Wheel, Remote Keyless Entry, GM PassKey II anti-theft system, Bodyside Moldings, and 6-Way Power Drivers Seat), $995 Removable Roof Panels with Locks Package, $450 Acceleration Slip Regulation Option, $150 Electric Rear Window Defogger Option, 6-speed Manual Transmission, Leather interior with Rear Bucket Seating, GM Oil Life Monitoring System, AM/FM/CD Monsoon 500 Watt Stereo with 12 disc CD Changer, Comfortilt Steering Wheel, and Solar Ray Tinted Glass. Leather interior, sport mode, 6 spd manual transmission, heated seats, A/C, PS, PB, PW, PM,Traction Control, front and side airbags, double size front and rear sunroofs. Body is in very good, solid shape, there is a small dent on the right side behind the door, can probably be pulled via paintless dent repair type of company.

She runs and drives well and these cars are known for their handling ability. They are like Go-Karts with roofs. She will need front tires at a minimum to bring that handling back.

This car has been sitting for a couple of months as the front sub-frame/cross-member has rusted, which is a fairly common occurrence in these cars. So much so that replacements are rather easy to find and not all that expensive either.. well below $500.

Less than a year ago she rec'd a full HVAC system replacement, heater core and A/C components, about $1400 worth of work.

When going in for tires and some routine maintenance, the rusted sub frame was discovered and they were told not the drive the car. The car can be driven with the sub-frame in it's current condition, however, it is not recommended to drive the car hard and/or regularly until the issue is fixed. So, they parked the car and, not being of the DIY type, at least when it comes to cars, the car sat and recently the decision was made to sell her on to a new home.

With some minimal effort you can make this car an awesome track day car, SCCA autocross car. She's going to need tires and the sub frame, so when that is all apart, go with some high performance dampers, ultra-performance summer tires and take her out and play... that work will also make her lots of fun on the windy back roads.

These cars normally sell, with this mileage and this condition, aside from the sub-frame issue, in the low-mid $4000 range. She is being offered at $2800.

Description:

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this sleek LIMITED EDITION 1965 Shelby Cobra, CSX4567. This 50th Anniversary Cobra is the first one delivered of the 50 that were produced in total. It is untitled, and still on original MSO. The Shelby company has kept most of the features for the new Cobra much the same as the original 1965 model. They were manufactured with a lightweight body, fully independent suspension, upgraded disc brakes and come as a rolling chassis. The new owners had the option of engine and transmission as well has who installed these components into the car. This powerhouse features the iconic 427 CID V8 that has been bored and punched out to a 496 CID. The engine with built by Shelby and Robert Yates, and not only gives it a rare pedigree, it also gives the car some superior performance capabilities. The engine is aluminum and serial numbered to the car. This engine has only around 55 miles on it since new. Along with the engine the aluminum-cased 4-speed Top Loader has been Serial numbered to the car as well. The engine is mated with a 4-speed manual transmission that rips through the powerband with ease. With all the power being put to the ground, it’s vital to have plenty of stopping power. This beautiful piece of machinery features 4-wheel disk brakes with Wilwood calipers. When purchasing the vehicle there were only 2 color options. You can choose between polished aluminum or the classic blue and white (over the full aluminum body). This one of course got the clean blue and white combo and is in excellent condition and painted by Shelby. Sitting on a set of knock-off wheels this car is show ready and itching for a new owner. The interior of the car features black bucket seats that are in great condition. With the iconic reverse speedometer, fire suppression system, and overall killer appearance this car is not one you want to compete against. The combination of light weight, raw power, and clean overall appearance, you truly can’t find much to complain about. Some additional information includes a complete history file of the vehicle as well as a dyno sheet for the engine. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this very rare 2006 Ford GT for sale. The Ford GT began as a concept car designed in anticipation of the automakers centennial year and as part of its drive to showcase and revive its heritage names such as Mustang and Thunderbird. The GT was produced for the 2005 and 2006 model years, with the first customers taking delivery in August 2004. Of the 4,500 GTs originally planned, approximately 100 were to be exported to Europe, starting in late 2005. An additional 200 were destined for sale in Canada. Production ended in 2006 without reaching the planned lot. Approximately 550 were built in 2004, nearly 1,900 in 2005, and just over 1,600 in 2006, for a grand total of 4,038. The Ford GT features many new and unique technologies, including superplastic-formed frame, aluminum body panels, roll-bonded floor panels, a friction stir welded center tunnel, covered by a magnesium center console, a ship-in-a-bottle gas tank, a cap less fuel filler system, one-piece door panels, and an aluminum engine cover with a one-piece carbon fiber inner panel. Brakes are four-piston aluminum Brembo calipers with cross-drilled and vented rotors at all four corners. When the rear canopy is opened, the rear suspension components and engine are visible. The mid-mounted 5.4L V-8 engine is made from all aluminum and has a twin screw-type supercharger. What does this mean, well it means 550 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque which makes for a super-fast 0-60mph in 3.3 seconds! This car is a blast to drive especially as your shifting through the gears of a Ricardo 6-speed manual transmission fitted to a helical limited-slip differential. What makes this car even more rare is the exterior color being black and having the race stripe delete option, which you will not see this combination in a 2006 Ford GT very often at all. Also, with black leather interior and the Mcintosh sound system, forged alloy wheels and painted calipers you will not see a better-looking sports car than this Ford GT for sale. With just barely over 6,000 actual miles on this 2006 Ford GT, this beast is barely broken in and ready for thousands of more miles of pure performance and fun! Options on this 2006 Ford GT for sale are: A/C, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seats, leather interior and performance tires wrapped around forged alloy wheels. To view this car in greater detail, including 100+ HD Photos and HD Video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer this 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 XL for sale in our Indianapolis showroom. Powered by a 352 cubic inch V8 and presented in a striking combination of gleaming black exterior and red interior, this long, low 2 door has the presence now that it had in 1963 – fast, sleek, and a great place to be while eating up the highway miles or just cruising around town. The interior has completely new carpet, seatcovers, door panels, headliner, horn ring and center, seat belts, scuff plates, and visor arms. The dash and rear package shelf have been repainted. Beginning in 1962, all full-size Fords wore the Galaxie badge, with 500 and 500/XL denoting the higher series. The 1963 model was essentially unchanged save for some freshening and added trim; windshields were reshaped and a lower, fastback roofline was added mid-year to improve looks and make the big cars more competitive on the NASCAR tracks with less drag and reduced aerodynamic lift at high speed. This 1963½ model, the industrys first official ½ year model, was called the sports hardtop or fastback. Galaxie buyers showed their preference as the new sports hardtop models handily outsold the boxtop square-roof models. The sports hardtop was available in both Galaxie 500, and Galaxie 500/XL trim. To view this 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 XL, please visit our site at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call 317-688-1100, or email us at indy@gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our Houston showroom is this fearsome 1968 Chevrolet El Camino. What do we mean by fearsome? For starters, its practically new 496 CID Chevrolet V8 has less than 1000 miles on it since it was fired up, and it sounds tight and very nasty. To make sure this mill is properly fed, a full 5/8 ID fuel line setup was custom engineered from the tank to the big 850 CFM Demon Carb, using stainless tubing and real AN-fitting braided steel hose (no braided sleeves here - this is the real deal)! Spark control is provided by an MSD Digital 6AL with MSD wires. Built by Scott Ruther, the big 496 is sure to be up to the task for many miles to come. The 496 Rat Motor sends its twist to the rear wheels via a new GM TH400 3-speed automatic trans, equipped with a B&M Hammer shift kit and 3500 RPM Stall Converter, out to a GM 12-bolt rear end housing 3.73:1 gears - plenty of grunt to put a smile on its drivers face every time the loud pedal gets mashed. To help the driver keep tabs on the big block, it is equipped with the most important AutoMeter gauges: large face memory tach, temp, and a mechanical oil pressure gauge. When youre ready to get rolling, dont worry about hooking up, as the Mickey Thompson drag radials out back are up to the task of wrinkling up the pavement. This beast is made for sucking the headlights out if its competition on the strip, for sure; but its not incapable of being driven around town or out on the highway for a cruise. Its brown vinyl bench seat is in great shape, the carpet is practically unused, and it even has an aftermarket consold with cupholders. The exterior is low-key cool, with a sleeper shade of Palomino Tan covering the body, and no extra look at me stuff to attract unnecessary attention. The body consists of all of its original panels, and from the pictures, one can tell that this El Camino has good bones. Options on this 1968 Chevrolet El Camino for sale include AM/FM radio, Vinyl Seats, Cragar Aluminum Wheels, Radial Tires, and Seat Belts. For more information on this 1968 Chevrolet El Camino for sale, please call the Houston showroom at (832) 243-6220; or email us at Houston@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Las Vegas is proud to present this beautifully custom built 1929 Ford Cabriolet Convertible for sale in our Las Vegas showroom. The 1929 Model A Ford Convertible Cabriolets were premium Model A body styles. Cabriolets had two doors, a passenger compartment with a bench seat which could accommodate two adults comfortably and a standard rumble seat which could accommodate two additional passengers in fair weather. Until late 1931 when the A400 Convertible Sedan was introduced, the Cabriolet was unique to the Model A line, in that it had a folding top and glass side windows, offering protection from elements comparable to a closed car and the advantages of an open car in fair weather. The crank operated side windows could be rolled up or down to provide weather protection with the top closed or to serve as wind wings with the top open. The Convertible Cabriolet was added to the line in 1929 and included some design details, like the revised cowl, which foreshadowed changes made to the entire line for 1930.All Cabriolets were equipped with a single rear-mounted spare wheel, a split rear bumper, a single left-side tail light, rumble seat, cowl lamps, black wheels, and black wall tires as standard equipment. This beautiful custom ground up built car definitely tops the charts of builds. Not only does the beautiful blue metallic paint job make this car stand out in the crowd but when the 302 C.I.D V8 with automatic transmission fires up the heads turn. Complimenting the style of this beauty is a gorgeous tan vinyl interior and tan top. With only a little over 4000 miles on it since built it’s like buying a “new” old car. This 1929 Ford Cabriolet Convertible is for sale in our Las Vegas Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

We are excited to offer this classic and wonderfully restored 1953 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery at the Saint Louis Showroom of Gateway Classic Cars. The most startling feature of this 1953 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery is the color combination of a deep crimson red against a metallic silver full-body cover. The polished chrome trim adds a classic accent and color coordination. The front end of the body is all steel, while the rear end top is fiberglass, with the exception of the rear door which swings open to the left. Inside of this Sedan Delivery are steely-gray cloth seats that are woven nice and tight and show no signs of wear. The floor of the delivery cabin is dark gray painted wood. The headliner throughout this beauty is without flaw, and so is the dash. With the exception to the dome light, radio, and gas gauge, everything functions as expected. Powering this classic is a straight inline six engine with a steering wheel mounted three-speed manual driver (three on the tree). As you can witness in the video, it drives, accelerates, and shifts gears mostly excellently. Essentially, all this 1953 Chevrolet Sedan needs is someone to enjoy her and feel proud enough to show her off around town. In short, you have every reason to inquire further about this 1953 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery by viewing it in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video of the car running and driving at our website - http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Now for sale in Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is this modernized and beefy 1984 LS1 powered GMC C-10. One of the irritations with older vehicles is the difficulty of starting a carbureted engine in cold weather, carb tuning and cleaning and general maintenance that goes along with it. The LS1 engine is a modern all aluminum V8 that takes away the headaches of the older designed power plants. Not only is it more reliable, but it is also much better on fuel and allows for generation of big power along with lightweight design. The LS1 is combined with a fantastic and smooth shifting 4L60 transmission. The truck has a posi rear end with 3:42 gearing which allows for great traction and low rpms on the highway. You might want to think of this truck as a modern Trans Am but with the utility of a truck. Best of both worlds! The truck is finished with a white PPG paint and beautiful tan leather interior. It gives the truck a very luxurious feel throughout. Power brakes, power steering, CD player, leather, tilt wheel, alloy wheels and radial tires. All features that you will find on this truck. This is known as the third generation of the Chevrolet/GMC C-10. The third-generation trucks are colloquially known as the Square-body or Box-body generation. GMs official Rounded-Line moniker highlighted the pickups rounded styling cues that were incorporated into the design. This included rounded windshield corners, rounded corners of the cab roof, rounded-corner doors which cut high into the cab roof eliminating roof height, slanted front fenders, and rounded pickup box corners which allowed for rounded wraparound taillamps, a first for GM pickups. The design also featured strong distinctive curved shoulder lines which rounded out below the beltline. The curved shoulder line continued across the back tailgate on Chevrolet Fleetside and GMC Wideside models. However, the low slope of the hood and rectangular front end of the truck originated the square/box-body nickname, which was propagated through truck magazines and word of mouth. GMs design engineers fashioned the Rounded-line exterior in an effort to help improve aerodynamics and fuel efficiency, using wind tunnel technology to help them sculpt the body. Other design traits include sleek sculpted body work, an aerodynamic cab with steep windshield rake, and a unique available hidden radio antenna embedded into the windshield glass. You will be hard pressed to find another third generation LS1 powered GMC C-10 that is as nice as this throughout. It has been meticulously built and taken care of. Please reach out to the Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom at (832) 243-6220 to learn more about the truck or to learn about purchase and finance options. You can visit the truck in person at 1910 Cypress Station Dr Suite 200, Houston, TX 77090. To see all the HD pictures and video please go to http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/HOU/1164/1984-GMC-C-10 We look forward to hearing from you!
