Power is sent through a 6 speed manual to a fully upgraded limited slip rear differential with 3.73 gears. This car will get up and go, and with the Shelby tuned Borla exhaust everyone else will know it too! Other Shelby performance upgrades include track handling suspension, performance driveshaft, performance half shafts, Wilwood performance brakes and much more. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Nashville is proud to digitally present to you this Plum Crazy Purple 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A. Introduced in fall of 69; for the 1970 Model year, the Challenger was one of two Chrysler E-body cars, the other being the slightly smaller Plymouth Barracuda. Positioned to compete against the Mercury cougar and Pontiac Firebird in the upper end of the pony car market segment, it was a rather late response to the Ford Mustang, which debuted in April of 64. Even so, Chrysler intended the new Challenger as the most potent pony car ever, and like the less expensive Barracuda, it was available in a staggering number of trim and option levels, with virtually every engine in Chryslers Inventory. The Challengers longer wheelbase, larger dimensions and more luxurious interior were prompted by the launch of the 1967 Mercury Cougar, likewise a bigger, more luxurious and more expensive pony car aimed at affluent young American buyers. This sweet example of a 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A sports a healthy 340CI V8 motor toped by a triple two-barrel carb six pack intake setup mated to that tough 727 3 speed automatic transmission and a 3:23 sure grip rear end. This plum crazy purple pavement eater is not something to be messed with! This Challenger is coated in that beautiful Mopar Plum Crazy Purple paint with a factory black vinyl top and matching black vinyl interior. This vehicle has gone under an extensive restoration and has been in the owners collection for over 15 years. This vehicle features the following options: AM/FM radio, Spare tire, jack, hub caps, power brakes, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior, radial tires, rally wheels, positive tractions. This 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A can be seen in greater detail including over 100+HD photos at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is excited to offer an upcoming modern classic - the 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII - for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. Debuting in 1993, the Mark VIII was put on the same FN Platform as the Ford Thunderbird/Mercury Cougar but you would be forgiven for thinking otherwise as the styling is streets ahead of its FoMoCo cousins. For the final two years of production (97 and 98), the Mark VIII received a significant facelift featuring an all-aluminum hood, larger front grille and a neon brake-light that ran across the entire rear decklid. Of course, the most memorable feature of the Mark VIII is the subtle “spare tire hump that was a nod to Continental Kit Lincolns of the past. Styling is one thing but what is perhaps most desirable on this modern Lincoln is its motor- an all-aluminum, 32 valve, dual overhead cam 4.6l “Intech V8 that was good for 290hp on this dual exhaust model. This Charcoal Green Metallic painted Lincoln gets no less interesting inside, with a cushy Beige leather interior focused on comfort and driver orientation. A centrally-situated information system monitors everything you might need to know while operating this Lincoln and the radio/climate controls are easily accessible for the driver too. This Mark VIII has had two owners from new and was most recently part of a large Lincoln collection- it comes with every piece of paperwork you need including original sales paperwork, maintenance history and more. This car is ready to be shipped to your collection! To this day, the Lincoln Mark VIII remains in the “sleeper category; these well-hidden 1990s performance gems do have a small, loyal following and you can be sure that this well documented example is going to get some attention. Give our helpful and knowledgeable Sales staff a call at (623) 900-4884 and we will be happy to put our eyes and ears on this Lincoln for you and assist with any further questions you have. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a bad to the bone 2005 Harley Davidson VRSC V-Rod Trike. Harley Davidson challenged the status quo when they rolled out the V-Rod for 2003 production. Harley Davidson had historically only used air cooled engines, but decided to develop a more exotic water cooled engine with dual overhead cams. For assistance with switching from air cooled to water cooled, they teamed up with someone who had made this transition before: Porsche. Porsche and Harley Davidson developed a gem of a V-Twin which displaced 1,131ccs and put out 115 horsepower. This engine quickly made the V-Rod the most powerful bike in their lineup. This particular V-Rod has received a custom treatment to turn it into a trike. It uses an 8 Ford rear end to get the power to two rear wheels. There is no shortage of power with that screaming 1,131 providing the go to this showpiece. With custom paintwork and custom LED accent lighting, theres no V-Rod quite like this one. You can see this amazing machine in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 618-271-3000 or stl@gatewayclassiccars.com with inquiries.

Description:

For sale in our Indianapolis showroom is this sport 65 Chevrolet Corvair Monza. With a peppy 164 cubic inch H-6 engine bolted to a 4-speed manual transaxle, this Corvair is an invigorating drive. The Corvair unfortunately had a rough start to life with much negative press due to a suspension flaw that could be intentionally exploited to cause loss of control very quickly. The book “Unsafe at Any Speed goes over this in great detail, but by 1964 all of the concerns had been remedied, and in 65 again an entirely new suspension system was tucked under the redesigned body. With the redesign and suspension changes, the Corvair was truly a drivers car. Initially considered to rival the Mustang, the damage from Ralph Naders book was irreversible, and the vehicle only lasted shortly after. Since then, the Corvair has held a cult status among driving enthusiasts. This example, with its classic White over Black color scheme, has seen just under 45,000 miles of use and is in excellent shape. The engine fires up quickly and idles smoothly, eager to be taken out on the open road. The suspension is tight and inspires confidence on winding backroads, and swallows road imperfections happily on the highway. Options include: AM/FM/Cassette, Spare Tire, Vinyl Interior, Rally Wheels, and Radial Tires. For more information on this beautiful 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Brougham, contact our Indianapolis showroom at (317) 688-1100 or Indianapolis@GatewayClassicCars.com/1373/ To see more HD photos and an HD video of this vehicle running and driving, please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Indianapolis is proud to present this rare 1978 BMW R80/7 Motorcycle. Powering this is the original numbers matching 800cc engine and 5-speed manual transmission. Both were rebuilt 1,800 miles ago. Restored right down to the frame which is rust free. The frame was powder coated. The instrument pod was restored by a specialist company in Michigan. It has new bearings, seals and gears and got a slightly higher ratio in 5th gear for more relaxed cruising (speed limit was 55 in 1978!). Rebuilt the carburetors, polished and re-laced both wheels with stainless steel spokes and replaced the wheel bearings. Also, rebuilt the cylinder heads with hardened valve seats and replaced the original iron cylinders with 1984 nikasil ones. The alternator was replaced and upgraded to a higher capacity. The ignition system was replaced with a modern electronic upgrade. The starter is new and upgraded. The saddle is a new Corbin and it sits in a cowl from an RS model, but a new, correct BMW sourced “bench seat for two up riding is included. There are countless BMW sourced new replacement parts including: the fuel tank, main and secondary wiring harnesses, literally all rubber and chrome parts and all the cables and controls. The front brakes are upgraded to a period correct dual disk system using new BMW parts - master cylinder and the outer forks - to support the rebuilt calipers. The brake lines are new stainless steel. Added period correct additional instruments and replaced the handlebars and cables with new ones in the European style that are lower than the mini-ape hangers that were standard on US models. The clutch, oil pump and timing chain and gears are new. The steering head bearings were replaced, and the forks rebuilt with all new internals. Original and correct BMW hard side cases with all the latches and locks/keys working fine. The exhaust system is OE style but aftermarket stainless steel. The bike was professionally painted with a modern Chevrolet color. The tires are new Michelin Pilot Activs. There are a lot of small details like the audible reminder on the turn signal, an owners manual and an original, nice tool kit and air pump. Also, a period correct accessory power socket on the frame making it easy to keep on the battery tender or to plug in heated clothing or whatever. This 1978 BMW 680/7 is well documented with receipts and pictures. Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is excited to list this 1988 Ford Mustang LX Convertible. It is equipped with a 5.0 V8 and 5 Speed Manual transmission. This 1988 Mustang with only a little over 119K undocumented miles. Painted in beautiful white with grey and red interior is in great shape and completely original. The car is tight and drives great. The top is in great shape. The exhaust sounds amazing! Options on this car include, AM/FM radio, spare tire, power top, power brakes, power locks, power steering, power mirrors and synthetic leather sport seats. In 1987 Mustang received a facelift for both the interior and exterior. The 1988 Mustang was virtually unchanged. The exterior design was reminiscent of the earlier SVO and gave the car more of an Aero look, in keeping with Fords overall styling direction. The interior received an all new dash, center console and revised seat and door trim. With the end of the 1986 SVO, the models were now pared down to LX and GT. Taillights on the LX were revised with clear lenses for the turn signals while the GT now wore a specific body-colored triple sectioned louvered treatment. The rear quarter glass windows lost their louvers and now sported a single larger flush piece of glass lettered with Mustang at the bottom rear corners. GTs featured new round fog lamps and gained aerodynamic lower bodyside skirting and new turbine style 15-inch (380 mm) wheels. Dont miss out on this future classic. It wont last long. Description:

The first-generation Ford Mustang was manufactured by Ford from March 1964 until 1973. The introduction of the Mustang created a new class of automobile known as the pony car. The Mustang's styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competition.
It was initially introduced on April 17, 1964, as a hardtop and convertible with the fastback version put on sale in August 1964. At the time of its introduction, the Mustang, sharing its underpinnings with the Falcon, was slotted into a compact car segment.
With each revision, the Mustang saw an increase in overall dimensions and in engine power. The 1971 model saw a drastic redesign to its predecessors. After an initial surge, sales were steadily declining, as Ford began working on a new generation Mustang. With the onset of the 1973 oil crisis, Ford was prepared, having already designed the smaller Mustang II for the 1974 model year. This new car had no common components with preceding models.Since it was introduced four months before the normal start of the 1965 production year and manufactured alongside 1964 Ford Falcons and 1964 Mercury Comets, the earliest Mustangs are widely referred to as the 1964½ model by enthusiasts.[19] Nevertheless, all "1964½" cars were given 1965 U.S. standard VINs at the time of production, and - with limited exception to the earliest of promotional materials[20] - were marketed by Ford as 1965 models.[21] The low-end model hardtop used a "U-code" 170 cu in (2.8 L) straight-6 engine[22] borrowed from the Falcon, as well as a three-speed manual transmission and retailed for US$2,368. Standard equipment for the early 1965 Mustangs included black front seat belts, a glove box light, and a padded dash board.[23] Production began in March 1964 and official introduction following on April 17 at the 1964 World's Fair. V8 models got a badge on the front fender that spelled out the engine's cubic inch displacement ("260" or "289") over a wide "V." This emblem was identical to the one on the 1964 Fairlane.

Several changes to the Mustang occurred at the start of the "normal" 1965 model year in August 1964, about four months after its introduction. These cars are known as "late 65's". The engine lineup was changed, with a 200 cu in (3.3 L) "T-code" engine that produced 120 hp (89 kW; 122 PS). Production of the Fairlane's "F-code" 260 cu in (4.3 L) engine ceased when the 1964 model year ended. It was replaced with a new 200 hp (150 kW) "C-code" 289 cu in (4.7 L) engine with a two-barrel carburetor as the base V8. An "A-code" 225 hp (168 kW; 228 PS) four-barrel carbureted version was next in line, followed by the unchanged 289 HiPo "K-code" equipped with a 4-barrel Autolite 4100 carburetor rated at 271 hp (202 kW; 275 PS) at 6000 rpm and 312 lb⋅ft (423 N⋅m) at 3400 rpm.[24] The DC electrical generator was replaced by a new AC alternator on all Fords (a way to distinguish a 1964 from a 1965 is to see if the alternator light on the dash says "GEN" or "ALT")
