Description:

The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1977 MG MGB for sale. In structure the MGB was an innovative, modern design in 1962, utilizing a monocoque structure instead of the traditional body-on-frame construction used on both the MGA and MG T-types and the MGBs. However, components such as brakes and suspension were developments of the earlier 1955 MGA with the B-Series engine having its origins in 1947. The lightweight design reduced manufacturing costs while adding to overall vehicle strength. Wind-up windows were standard, and a comfortable drivers compartment offered plenty of legroom. A parcel shelf was fitted behind the seats. This MGB has money and an owners love poured into maintaining a great running and driving MG. Almost $12,000 in recent receipts come with the car. The list is too long to list, but here are the highlights. Newly rebuilt engine with all new internals, camshaft, bearings, cam plate, double row cam and crank sprockets, Hepolite semi-floating piston set, connecting rod bearings, clutch slave cylinder, master cylinder, new carpet, clutch master cylinder, Thermostat, throttle cable, all engine and transmission seals, water pump, and many more mechanicals which are associated with the engine build. The shocks have been replaced and rear leaf springs. The wire wheels with knock off spinners set this MGB apart from the rest. This MGB has been refreshed by the owner so you can drive this British motorcar legend with confidence and enjoyment. Options include: Am/Fm radio, CD player, manual convertible top, seat belts, vinyl interior, wire wheels, and radial tires. The Dodge Stealth was designed in partnership with Mitsubishi to be an ultra-high-tech sports car for the 90s. With advanced available features like 4-wheel steering and dual overhead cam engines the Dodge Stealth and its platform mate, the Mitsubishi 3000GT, were true halo cars of their time. The Dodge Stealth had a very distinctive appearance as Chrysler designed unique body panels, headlights and crescent shaped spoiler, affectionately referred to as the “Banana Wing,” mounted at the base of the rear window rather than the end of the trunk lid. This example is painted in the rare Pearl Yellow which has a beautiful transforming sheen in shifting light and is complemented by a light gray leather interior. This Stealth has all the styling cues of a spaceship and it’ll go like one too! Powered by a 24 valve, dual overhead cam 3.0-liter V6 pumping out 220 horsepower to a smooth shifting 4 speed automatic this Stealth just soars! Description:

For Sale in our Detroit Showroom is a one-of-a-kind 1977 Chrysler New Yorker equipped with the St. Regis option! This gorgeous and well maintained New Yorker is a statement rolling down the road. In the late 70’s, many vehicles served a single purpose and they were usually competing with similar cars on the market. The New Yorker took the Chrysler Imperial design to a whole different level. This is one of the most responsive large luxury cars you will find. The computer controlled 440cid V8 came equipped with a “lean burn” option to help acceleration response and performance. With competitors like the Cadillac Eldorado and Lincoln Mark Series, Chrysler did an amazing job with this highly optioned luxury machine. This land yacht is sporting a gorgeous coat of Silver with a Burgundy interior that you will have a hard time getting out of. The pillow top seats have just been conditioned and are some of the most comfortable seats for long distance cruises or even just a comfortable trip to the grocery store. With just over 45,000 original miles, there is plenty of life left in this New Yorker. If you are in the market for a rare collectible cruiser, look no further. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to offer this clean vintage 1976 Mercedes Benz 300D. The W108 Chassis became a very successful platform for Daimler-Benz, and provided customers with more precise handling, superior road surface irregularity damping and isolation, a more comfortable interior, and more modern styling than previous chassis had, with its newer, smoother lines. The interior of this ‘Benz shows you what German luxury was all about in the 1970’s and features larger seating areas covered in rich red vinyl upholstery, wood grain interior trim, a large steering wheel, and easy to operate controls. Under the hood is Mercedes stout and durable inline 5-cylinder diesel engine. Its ability to deliver near-gasoline-engine-like acceleration was a combined result of its seamless torque delivery, and smooth-shifting 4 speed automatic gearbox; which gave the 300Ds the ability to easily reach highway speeds without the typical diesel drama that lesser diesels were known for (you know - the wait, wait, wait, ahh, now were moving! experience). Merging onto freeway on-ramps was no longer something that one had to plan well in advance for, to avoid being rear-ended by cars already moving at speed. In addition to being well known and popular for their looks, these cars were touted for reliability and durability, with many of them reaching the vaunted Million Mile club; and, like this example, are still on the road today. Options on this white beauty include cruise control, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, power locks, power windows, air conditioning, AM/FM radio, seat belts, radial tires. This classic has been well kept for its entire life and is ready to provide its next lucky owner with many years and many more miles of fine driving. This the one you want to own. If you are in the market for a vintage Mustang but dont want the potential headaches of owning a 50-year-old vehicle, this is a great choice. Drive it, collect it, invest it, own it, love it. This Cobra is outfitted with a DOHC all-aluminum 4.6-liter V-8, that kicks out 305 HP & 300 ft-lb of torque through a very smooth shifting five-speed manual transmission. The engine starts right up and is strong throughout the power band. The transmission shifts up & down through the gears with no issues. No wine out of the rear diff either, the entire drive train is in great shape. These, now classic, Cobras are becoming a hot ticket item yet again, due to their timeless styling and reliable horsepower. The aftermarket world on these muscle machines is plentiful and with just a few bolt-on components you can push 400HP with no problem. This is surely a sign of the next generation of appreciating classics. The exterior of this Cobra is painted in a bright white while the interior is comprised of black leather. Drop the new white soft top convertible down for a 360 view of your surroundings and push the petal down to hear natures orchestra. The bumpers, trim, glass, & emblems are in great shape. The factory white paint is also in very good condition with no dings, dents, or scratches. The car shows very well and was garage kept. The all black leather interior, which was a rare option (1 of 59) for this car for this year is in great shape. In the 1980s, the Mercedes-Benz SL was a key vehicle in the growth of Mercedes in North America as it gave the brand a popular personal luxury vehicle that was both stylish and sporty. This car became such an icon because it was one of the longest-production models for Mercedes built from 1971 through 1989, and the final version (the 560SL) delivered peak performance thanks to its big V8. Description:

Newly restored and ready for work or being the talking piece of any car show. Under 50 miles since a cosmetic restoration help make the yellow exterior on this truck as well as the black vinyl seat look better than the day it was new inside and out. Since back in 1959 these Ford F500 dump trucks were built to work not many of them were lucky enough to survive this long and be taken such great care of. Providing the low end torque needed to move any full load in this truck is the straight 6-Cylinder engine that is mated to a 4-Speed manual transmission. Both of which are numbers matching and original to the F500. Also original to this Ford is the 2-Speed rear end that brings back memories for those of us that grew up in rural areas and learned to drive in grain trucks. Moving to where the magic happens on this truck towards the rear is the black dump bed that is in just as great of shape as the rest of the truck proving it has had a pampered live. One of the best parts about this F500 is that the dump bed and all of its parts are still in working order and can be used like it was ment to be. Helping keep you under control no matter whether empty or loaded down are the brand new brakes all around. While the brand new tires keep you on the road. You can view this 1959 Ford F500 Dump Truck in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

This 1948 Ford pickup is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. Rat Rods have been around since the early 70’s but have recently gone mainstream. With there over the top I don’t care what you think style they usually get more attention than a custom show car. This 48 Ford truck was built to drive and get a bunch thumbs up as you go down the road. The body of the truck is in great shape with the satin green really getting people to look twice. With the front grill coming from a 450 Case dozer you can be certain you won’t have to worry about pulling up to another one at the stoplight. The front end has been painted bright red a great accent against that flat green. The flaming river steering box allows for a better feel of the road making the steering more precise. The speedway front calipers work great stopping this ole truck faster than anything in 1948. Under the take-off hood is a rebuilt Chevy 307 that powers this rod down the road just fine. The huge aluminum radiator keeps that small block nice and cool with the electric fan being more of a just in case thing. The huge headers with the collectors coming out each side puts an exclamation point on this radical Rat. Matched up to a rebuilt TH350 that shifts out just as you would expect. The 10-bolt rear end handles the power nicely turning the big back tires with ease. The extremely cool looking aluminum gas tank mounted in the back is classic 60’s era styling. Look inside and a red vinyl bench seat really ties everything together. If you have been wanting to get your hands on a cool ratrod but don’t have the time to build one, this 48 is ready to go. Description:

We have a beautiful 1970 Buick Le Sabre It features a gold exterior and black vinyl interior. It boasts a powerful 455ci motor backed by an automatic transmission. Only minor detail changes including grille and taillight revisions were made to the 1970 LeSabre. New features this year included a hidden radio antenna which amounted to two wires embedded in the windshield. Wheelbase was increased by one inch to 124 inches (3,100 mm), matching direct competitors such as Oldsmobile Delta 88, Mercury Monterey and Chrysler Newport. Both base and Custom models were again offered. Engines were revised with the standard 350 two-barrel V8 increased in horsepower from 230 to 260. A new option for 1970 was a low-compression regular-fuel version of the 350 four-barrel rated at 285 horsepower and the high-compression premium fuel 350 four-barrel V8 was reworked with horsepower upped to 315 on a 10.25 to 1 compression ratio. Added to the lineup was a new LeSabre 455 line which shared interior and exterior trimmings with the LeSabre Custom and was powered by Buicks new 455 cubic-inch V8 with four-barrel carburetor, 10.25 to 1 compression and 370 horsepower, which also required premium fuel. Transmission offerings included a standard three-speed manual with column shift for the base 350 two-barrel or optional three-speed Turbo Hydra-matic 350 automatic, which was standard equipment with the two 350 four-barrel engines. This transmission completely replaced the old two-speed automatic offered with the smaller base engines in past years, while the 455 was paired with the Turbo Hydra-matic 400. Buick now joined other GM divisions in marketing the automatic transmission under the Turbo Hydra-matic trade name rather than the Super Turbine designation used since 1964. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1970 Buick Le Sabre in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Now available in our Dallas-Showroom is this 1977 Chevrolet El Camino. A favorite amongst car enthusiast and definitely an iconic ride, El Camino’s are highly sought after by various car collectors. For 1976, El Camino Classic models now featured the new rectangular headlights that other high-end GM cars were sporting. These were quad units in stacked arrangement. The base model retained the previously used dual round headlights. Engines included the base 250 I6 engine, a new 140 hp, 305-cubic-inch V8, two- and four-barrel 350s (with availability still depending on California delivery), and the 400-cubic-inch V8, still good for 175 hp. All engines except the 250 I6 came with the Turbo Hydra-matic automatic transmission as the only transmission available. The 250 I6 came with a 3-speed manual or an optional Turbo Hydra-matic. The 1977 models were little changed, except the 400 V8 was gone. The El Camino Classic was again the top model and the SS option continued. This El Camino is powered by a rebuilt 350 V-8 motor, which provides plenty of horsepower to those large 24 inch DUBS! The 350 is great for cruising, but also responsive and providing plenty of “oomph” when pressing down on the gas. Throw whatever you wish into the back of this vehicle with little to no worries, having a sprayed in bed-liner, it’s durable and capable of hauling around plenty. The interior is fresh and has a comfortable leather bench seat for you to plop down in and cozy into as you get ready for a cruise. What’s a good cruise without good tunes? Well put on your favorite ones and you should have no trouble hearing them with Kenwood speakers, a 1500-watt Planet Audio amp, & two 10’inch “kicker” subs bringing a little extra thump to your music. If you’re looking for a classic to cruise around and draw some attention with, you found it! Give us a call to discuss. To view this vehicle in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and videos, visit our website at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For sale in our Atlanta showroom is a 1983 Chevrolet El Camino. She appears to have a recent paint job, as it shows a fresh look, as well as the fresh looking Lin-X type spray-in liner in the bed area. Painted in a 2-tone dark grey and silver, the painter took the liberty of painting the bumpers, adding an updated look, the interior is done with a grey cloth bench seat interior, and looks to be in good condition. She is powered by a V-8 small block, with an Edelbrock aluminum intake, and Holley 4-barrel carburetor, mated to an automatic transmission. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present one of the nicest Mark IV Lincolns you can find. Having only 28052 miles since new the entire vehicle has been kept in immaculate shape. The Lincoln Continental Mark IV is a two-door personal luxury coupe that was sold and marketed by the Lincoln division of Ford Motor Company from the 1972 to 1976 model years. Following the success of the Continental Mark III, Lincoln renewed the model line to again compete against the Cadillac Eldorado. Sharing the underpinnings and much of the roofline with the redesigned Ford Thunderbird for 1972, the Mark IV was given distinct body styling from the windows down. In addition, the Mark was distinguished by hidden headlights and the Continental spare tire trunk lid. Everything looks to be in good working order with the exception of the power antenna. This car was literally built for your personal luxury. The ride is soft and subtle, idle and acceleration is smooth while giving the car that big boat feel. Push the pedal and the 460 V8 will propel this large luxury 2 door car down the road with ease. Cars are not built like this any longer and you will be hard pressed to find one in this condition today. The features include, AC, AM/FM Radio 8-Track, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Windows, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Cloth Interior, and White Wall Radial Tires. Description:

For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom we have this great example of a 1976 Chevrolet Malibu Wagon. This story begins when the car was originally assembled in the Freemont California GM plant. Shipped out to Westlake Chevrolet Inc in Seattle where it was sold the first time. Today we are proud to feature this 2-owner wagon in our South Florida showroom. The second owner has it since 2015 in his possession and has gone through the mechanicals and refreshed pretty much everything. First let’s state here that this Malibu wagon runs fantastic. Powered by its rebuilds 350ci V8 with less than 20k miles on it since it was overhauled. The Chevy comes with following new parts: new aluminum core radiator, new A/C compressor (134), new battery, new fuel pump, new starter, new high output alternator, new water pump, new electronic ignition distributor, new 2-barrel carburetor, new power steering pump, new brakes all around, new rims and tires, new dual exhaust and more. The Malibu was repainted in its Buckskin color and features partial custom lace paint. She looks good all the way around. The interior of the car is mostly original and looks good for being 42 years old. Just the headliner has a couple of small tears and there is some discoloration caused by the sun. Other than that, you will feel very comfortable sitting in this beauty. Since this car was running on the west coast for almost its entire life the undercarriage is extremely nice. This wagon has not seen salt!!! Overall this is a very nice drive wagon that you could probably drive across country. With many options like: A/C, Power Brakes and Power Steering you will drive smooth down the highway. Perfect for the family to go on adventures and write new memories with this classic wagon. Let it ride!!! To see 100+ HD pictures and a video of this 1976 Chevrolet Malibu, please visit gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Up for sale in the Detroit showroom is this classy 1974 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. This fine cruiser has been meticulously maintained, with only 46,620 actual miles. The 1971-1978 Cadillacs were the epitome of the land yachts of the 1970s, with a wheelbase of 130 inches, an overall length of 230.7 inches, and featuring the biggest hood to ever be put on a car, supposedly weighing in at approximately 200 pounds! The hood is almost long enough to land a Boeing 747! Underneath that huge hood is the monstrous 472 CID V8 that the Deville was known for which is paired to an automatic transmission making this Cadillac is a very pleasurable car to drive. Some recent work has been done to bring this beautiful cruiser back to the condition that it currently sits. This includes having the radiator re-cored, the battery replaced, and the few small oil leaks were taken care of. On the exterior, the Cadillac was given a professional detail to the entire car that really brought out the shine of the gorgeous Cranberry Firemist metallic finish which looks great paired with the black vinyl top. Options on this 1974 Cadillac DeVille include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM radio, power antenna, hub caps, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power seats, power windows, telescopic/tilt wheel, seat belts, cloth interior, and radial tires. Description:

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this very Custom 1980 Chevrolet C30. Originally used as a Fire truck, this cab has traveled less than 10,000 miles since new. Most people drive more than that in a year! The rust free cab was liberated from its original chassis in an effort to build this custom piece that you see here today. Sitting on a 1980 Chevrolet C30 frame, and titled as such, the road manners are noticeable better than the original chassis. Powered by a 5.7l small block Chevrolet engine and backed by a TH-400 transmission, there is plenty of power to move this mosnter at highway speeds without so much as a hiccup. The interior is virtually unchanged from factory with a few subtle liberties taken. Originally having been a manual transmission, the shifter is a custom piece made by the seller of the vehicle connected to the 3-speed auto. The cab lights, as well as the flashers mounted on the cowl are still fully functional and work great for parades or private events. The entire rear cab has been dressed up with custom pieces giving a rat rod or steam punk feel. The whole vehicle is covered in a coat of “Fire Engine Red” paint with much of the original gold leaf left on the vehicle. This is a rare opportunity to own such a low mileage custom vehicle. Options include: Hub Caps, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Radial Tires. For more information on this custom Fire Truck, contact our Chicago showroom at (708) 444-4488.
