Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to present this rare and desirable 1966 Shelby GT350 Fastback Mustang. Documentation and known history are two important attributes for collector cars. This 1966 Shelby GT350, SFM6S2185, possesses plenty of both. As noted in the Shelby American Automobile Clubs Shelby Registry 1965-67, the GT350 was shipped from the Shelby American assembly facility in Los Angeles to Ford Motor Company in June 1966, then delivered to Courtesy Motors in Littleton, Colorado. In the 1970s, the Shelby was owned by a southern California detective who sometimes used this beauty as an undercover vehicle. Since 1979, it has been in the hands of collectors to ensure it was cared for through the years. During the 1980s, it participated in west coast shows, including SAAC-6 and the Palo Alto Concours DElegance. From 1987 to 2013, the GT350 was owned by a private collector; a 1988 restoration resulted in numerous Best of Show awards, perfect scores from both SAAC and the Mustang Club of America, and features in several magazines. Super Ford magazine named it the best Shelby of the year for 1989. The Guardsman Blue GT350 retains much of its original equipment, including the factory-installed 4-speed transmission and matching-numbers 289 Hi-Po V-8 that was modified to Shelby specs for 306 horsepower. Like all 1966 GT350s, the car was delivered to Shelby American as a K-code Mustang fastback, then upgraded with a Cobra aluminum intake with Holley carburetor, Tri-Y headers, Koni shock absorbers, rear traction bars, 15-inch wheels, dash-mounted tachometer, competition seat-belts and wood steering wheel. Externally, the Shelby models differed from regular Mustangs with a fiberglass hood with scoop, Plexiglas rear quarter windows and side scoops. Only 2,378 were built in total. Orlando Mustang was tapped to complete a restoration on the car in 2014, which resulted in its winning Best in Class awards at the 2104 Keels and Wheels Concours DElegance and the 2015 Valero Show. It was featured in the July 2015 Mustang Times and displayed at the Bush Library from August to October 2016. Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this classy 1979 Lincoln Mark V Collector Series. These Lincolns are well known for being great cruisers, and high-end luxury features for their time. The Collector series certainly fit the bill when it came to luxury features as they came with every available feature as standard equipment. Only four options were available for the Collectors Series: a power moonroof, 40-channel CB radio, Sure-Track anti-lock brakes, and a plush Kashmir velour interior (in lieu of leather). This Mark V is powered by a smooth running 400 CID V8 that has no issues getting up to speed. The engine is paired of to a smooth shifting 3-speed automatic transmission. To improve the cruising capability, it rear features 2.75 gears. With what is claimed by the owner to be original miles at 56,941 you know there is plenty of life left in this luxurious classic. The car is painted in the classic white which is 1 of only 4 color options for the Collector series. The other 3 color options were Midnight Blue, Diamond Blue, and Silver. With roughly 2,040 Collector series painted in the white color out of the 6,262 produced, they are becoming rarer with time. Some other accessories included with this beauty are the umbrella, tool kit, and owners-manual cover. The original spare tire is even in the rear and still in tact surprisingly enough. Description:

This 1976 Chevrolet Corvette is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 1976 Corvette was met with a great customer response even if with its lack luster performance from its underpowered small block. This blue rocket has fixed that problem in a big way, 502 ways to be exact. The blue paint is what usually catches your eye when the car is parked. The pinstriping helps to break it up while giving it more of a custom look. The rare fenders have been flared out to accommodate those huge tires in the back giving it a that huge footprint. Under the hood is the star of the story, the 502 engines. Brought directly from GM this 502/502 turn key kit is exactly what this 76 needed. With the internals being composed of nothing but forged parts this engine is built to take a beating. The high-rise aluminum intake with its matching oval port design is just another piece to this 502 HP puzzle. The matching aluminum heads are the last piece and complete this powerful puzzle. The matched up 4l80e transmission handles the power while giving the ability to cruise down the highway with its electronically controlled OD. Inside the interior has been treated to a custom bucket seats with the drag style shifter fit into the original console. Take the T-Tops off and you are sure to have a blast while enjoying the fresh air and sunshine while obeying all traffic signs of course. If you have wanted a beast of a ride that can go down the highway without turning 4000 RPMs this 76 Corvette is a great choice. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to offer this rare 1969 Chrysler Imperial. This top of the line Chrysler is painted in two tones Brown and Gold and looked beautiful. The Fuselage Look was how Chrysler described its new styling for 1969. Instead of the square lines of 1964-1968 models, the new Imperials featured rounded tumblehome sides, bulging at the beltline, and tucking in down to the rocker panels. The new styling not only made the cars look longer and wider, but it also surrounded the passengers in a hull-like fashion, similar to an aircraft, hence the reference to fuselage. The curved side glass, which had been pioneered in America by Imperial for its 1957 model, had a much tighter radius, while the increased curvature of the bodysides permitted the window frames to be moved outboard at their bases, resulting in an increase in shoulder room without an increase in overall body width compared to the previous C-body. In fact, the front and rear shoulder room increased from 59.4 into 62.7 in on 4-door hardtops. In keeping with the times, the look was sleeker, with a reduced, more subtle level of trim. For the first time, the lights were hidden behind doors, giving a fashionable at the time full-width grille look using loop bumpers. Only this year the Imperial featured sequential turn signals. 1969 was the final model year for pillared sedans. Powered by a 440 V8 and backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission this car will move you down the road in style. Options include AC/Heat, AM Radio, Power Locks, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Tilt-Wheel, Wheel Covers, White Wall Radials. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Chicago Showroom is excited to offer this 1971 Volkswagen Super Beetle. This beetle received a full frame off restoration about 15 years ago and has held up great over the years. The blue paint still shines great in the sun, and the manual sunroof makes this a great summer cruiser. In the rear lies a new 1600 CC duel Port motor from Mofoco. The engine is paired to a 4-speed manual transmission, and the noise is emitted through quad chrome tip exhausts coming out the rear. The gear box is tight and ready to go! The new engine was put in about 10 years ago by the current owner, and has about 1000 miles on it since being put in according to the owner. The engine has been beautifully dressed up in chrome that just pops against the blue exterior paint. Inside, the car has a clean refurbished interior with black vinyl and grey cloth insert seats. The Chrome VW seat belts add a nice touch in dressing up the interior. The odometer currently reads 45,106 miles which is claimed to be original by the current owner. It has disc brakes at all 4 wheels and great looking 15-inch chrome hub caps that look great with the chrome bumpers and blue paint. Above the windshield lies the stylish Sun visor that helps separate this beetle from the others. To help separate this Super Beetle from the rest is the clean California look windows. The CAL look results in a single window on the driver and passenger doors instead of the separate Valence or Quarter glass. The front headlights have been fitted with Chrome visors that glisten in the sun. Hop inside and either turn the key or use the fancy push to start button located on the center dash pop it into first gear and be ready to have a lot of attention on you. The current owner has had the car about 2 years and is not sure how many owners were before him. The car runs and drives great and just needs a new home, to make that your home reach out to us before someone else picks it up. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM/GTA SPE. In 1989 , the Trans Am GTA was equipped with a more powerful version of the turbocharged Buick 3.8L V6, originally developed for the Buick Regal Grand National, and the Turbo Trans Am (TTA) became the vehicle Pontiac supplied to pace the Indianapolis 500. Ultimately, 1,555 TTA replicas, rated at 250 hp, were produced for sale, five of those being test cars. But after Car and Driver magazine tested the car, logging a 0-60 mph run in 4.6 seconds, and a standing quarter-mile in 13.4 seconds at 101 mph, they called the 250 hp rating exceedingly modest, estimating the actual output to be closer to 300 hp. They also subsequently reported that it was the quickest 0-60 sprinter available in any US production-car showroom - at any price. Here we have one of those 1,555. With only one owner and 60,883 actual miles, this car is as nice as they get. The 3.8L Turbo V6 still pulls as strong as ever and the 4-speed automatic shifts smooth and easy. The paint and interior have little wear for being a 30 year old car, and you can easily tell this car is all original and unmolested. Options on this cool 1989 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM/GTA Spec include: AC, Aluminum Alloy Wheels with Radial tires, Anti-Lock Brakes, Anti-theft system, AM/FM radio with Cassette, Cruise, Lumbar Support, Leather Interior, Power Locks, Power steering, Power, Windows, Tilt Wheel and T-Tops. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer this 1981 Chevrolet Corvette for sale! It is a unique color and in great condition. It is even bench marked and gold certified. The owner brought us a beautifully kept 1981 Chevrolet Corvette with its numbers matching engine and transmission. Mileage on the car is only 24,550. Under the hood is the tried and true 350 small block followed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. The BENCHMARK process is not an easy one. Fewer than 5% or Corvettes attain this high honor and in order to do so the car must be an unrestored survivor. What you see on this car is 100% original and the owner has the paperwork to validate the awards. The exterior is a rarely seen Charcoal Metallic with silver seats on the inside. Take the T-tops off for sunny day drives and hit the road. The only thing this car needs is a new owner. The AC does work and blows cold and the window sticker and spec sheet are still available. Description:

Maybe you wont fly, but youll come close in this 1992 Chevrolet Corvette. This hot red 1992 Chevrolet Corvette is now available at the Milwaukee Showroom here at Gateway Classic Cars. The 92 falls into the C4 (4th generation) of Vettes, and represents a complete clean break from the Zora Arkus-Duntov-designed C3, with a completely new chassis and sleeker, more modern but still evolutionary styling. It was the work of a team under chief Corvette designer Dave McLellan, whod taken over from Duntov in 1975. In a departure from the fiberglass panels of its forebearers, the C4s rear bumpers and panels were made from molding plastics, a sheet molding compound. The C4 fastback coupe was the first general production Corvette to have a glass hatchback for better storage access. The Corvette C4 came standard with an electronic dashboard with a digital liquid crystal display dash, with graphics for speed and RPM and digital displays for other important engine functions. With the mentioned monitoring of the above diagnostic equipment, this Vette shows a tradition of being consistently ahead of its own time. This car also shows as being a higher optioned vehicle that it comes with ride control, which was not a standard feature on Corvettes in 92. This would allow the suspension to adjust firmness based on driving conditions in order to give the driver the best feel for what he or she is trying to accomplish with this performance machine. This red Corvette is equipped with a Targa top, air conditioning, power locks & windows, cruise control and a tilt steering wheel. Youll sit comfortably in the red leather power seats with lumbar support, and have the fun of driving the 350 V8 with its 6-speed manual transmission. With all this in mind with being a desirable package Corvette, this car only comes with around 17,000 miles put on the clock, so youre virtually getting a vehicle that is as close as you can get to being in new condition considering that it is 27 years old! Youre bound to turn a lot of heads when youre cruising in this awesome car! This 1992 Chevrolet Corvette is available at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in person, it can be seen at our Milwaukee Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP Convertible! Yes, the mileage is correct, and we have all the documentation to go with including a copy of the original title from GM! The Solstice was the first 2-seater from Pontiac since the Fiero, and the only other 2-seater for GM past the Corvette. This particular version is the performance oriented GXP which has the highest horsepower per cubic in. output (2.1 HP / cubic inch) in GM history. Our yellow 2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP Convertible sports a 2.0 liter dual-scroll turbocharger, and a 5-speed automatic transmission. Manual transmissions are great, but automatics are quicker these days. This makes back road cruising seamless and responsive. Out back is a limited slip differential for all the fun you can ask for. This is essentially still a new car. It was purchased by a collector and ordered specifically. The original owner saved the order sheet from his online purchase, so every option is known. As tends to happen the original owner passed and the current owner picked the car up at the estate sale and has maintained it in stock form since. The car runs out and drives like new, and is perfect for a fun daily driver, or a Sunday cruiser! 2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP Convertible is for sale in our St. Louis Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
