Description:

This 1993 Mazda RX7 Turbo is for sale in our Louisville Ky showroom. The Rotary engine was revolutionary for its time and what many thought would be the direction of the automotive industry. Like many new things they just did not quite catch on but there were some really neat Mazda’s that would take advantage of these high revving high horse power engines. The 93 RX7 turbo is the one that most remember. With a 14 second quarter mile time they were Rockets straight out of the box. This black beast is a great example why so many have fell in love with these tuner classics. The black has been the best-looking color on these rear wheel drive monsters with the taillights blending into the rear end. They still look super modern even if it is 25 years old. The tan interior is another nod to the classic 90’s look and still shows extremely well. Although the car has a little over 84k miles on it the rotary was replaced with a reman one from Mazda which only has a little over 26k miles on it with receipts included in the sale. The Excedy stage one clutch was installed in august of 2016 but with less than 2000 miles on it since then this 93 RX7 is ready for the open road. With the car having a clean and clear Auto History report verifying the mileage and no accidents this has to be one of the best 7’s around. Sounds almost too good to be true yet the best part of it all is the current owner is only the second and bought the car in 95. It really is a great opportunity to own one of these ultra-fun extremely rare sports cars that are doing nothing but going up in value. Options on this 1993 Mazda RX7 Turbo include; AM/FM Radio with CD player, GPS, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Windows, Anti-Lock Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Driver Airbag, Leather Interior, Power Sunroof, Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 1993 Mazda RX7 Turbo can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call at 812-294-1555 or email Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com for more information.

Description:

1930 Ford Model A for sale in our Atlanta Showroom location is ready for its next owner. This beauty is painted in a mirror Black paint with red pin striping, red wire wheels with white walls. It looks fresh and runs just as good! The 4-cylinder engine and manual transmission still power this Model A down the road and a lot of new parts keep it running right. The consignor states the engine and transmission have under 300-miles since the rebuild, with a new starter and new alternator. Options arent limited on this beauty that include cloth interior, wire wheels with hub caps, bias ply tires, radiator guard, dual side mounts, dual side mirrors, truck rack and trunk. The Model A was the first Ford to use the standard set of driver controls with conventional clutch and brake pedals, throttle, and gearshift. Previous Fords used controls that had become uncommon to drivers of other makes. The Model As fuel tank was situated in the cowl, between the engine compartments fire wall and the dash panel. It had a visual fuel gauge, and the fuel flowed to the carburetor by gravity. A rear-view mirror was optional. In cooler climates, owners could purchase an aftermarket cast iron unit to place over the exhaust manifold to provide heat to the cab. A small door provided adjustment of the amount of hot air entering the cab. The Model A was the first car to have safety glass in the windshield. Almost 5 million Model A Fords were produced in 9 different body styles before it was replaced by the Ford Model B. This 1930 Ford Modal A is for sale in our Atlanta Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

For sale in our Saint Louis showroom is a rarely seen 1963 Studebaker Avanti with a 4 speed. This frame off restored Avanti is powered by a 350 CID V8 engine with aluminum valve covers and a chrome K&N air filter. A Muncie M22 4 speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter transfers the power to the rear end. The tires are in very good condition and as you can see in the video, it drives excellent. The body is painted a beautiful shade of green that has a very slight metallic flake. The paint is in very good condition, and the car shines up well. The gray interior features vinyl and cloth upholstery, and a wood grain steering wheel provides a nice touch to the overall appearance of the interior. BACKGROUND: The Avanti was a personal luxury coupe produced by The Studebaker Corporation June 1962 and December 1963. It originated as a doodle on a napkin in a jet plane west of Chicago by Sherwood Egbert just 37 days after he took over as President of Studebaker in February 1961. It was marketed as Americas only 4 passenger high-performance personal car. The Avanti broke nearly 30 records at the Booneville Salt Flats in Utah. Unfortunately the Studebaker factory in South Bend, IN shut down in December of 1963, and only 5800 Avantis were produced during the production run. The naming rights to Avanti were purchased, and the Avanti II was produced from some years. The odometer on this 1963 Avanti reads 40,911, the actual mileage is unknown, but approximately 9,000 miles have been enjoyed in the car since the restoration was complete. Options for this 1963 Studebaker Avanti include: AM/FM Radio with Cassette Player, Vinyl and Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, Power Windows, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, and Custom Steel Wheels. For sale is this beautiful 1962 Chevrolet Nova 400 Convertible is in our Louisville showroom. The 1962 Chevy II (Nova) rode a 110-inch wheelbase, compared to 109.5 for the Ford Falcon, at which Chevys new compact was aimed. The Chevy II one of the fastest new-car development programs in GM history – just 18 months after the designers got the green light, the first production Chevy II rolled off the Willow Run, Michigan, assembly line in August 1961, in time for its September 29 introduction. Unlike the Corvair, the 1962 Chevy II was deliberately never intended to be revolutionary in concept or execution; its mission was to give Chevrolet buyers a simple, back-to-the-basics compact car and it did. This Nova 400 convertible is very clean, but still very simple. A quick peek of the underside will show how clean the car. Under the hood, is the ever reliable inline 6-cylinder engine. The engine is backed by a 2-speed automatic power glide transmission. The interior is basically stock, but some of the vinyl ha been replaced with cloth inserts. The convertible is manual, but so easy to put up and down, that it only takes one person to do it. Options on this 1962 Chevrolet Nova 400 Convertible for sale include; AM/FM Radio, Manual Convertible Soft Top, Seat Belts, Cloth Interior and White Wall Radial Tires. 1962 Chevrolet Nova 400 Convertible for sale is in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail, including an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this awesome 1991 Volkswagen Transporter. This one was recently imported by its current owner last year from Mexico and legally titled and registered in the US as they are becoming more and more harder to come in nice condition like this. This car is in excellent condition with just under 75,000 actual miles (120,393 km) on the car. That’s an average of about 4,500 miles a year since new! The numbers matching original 1.8L 4 cylinder motor fires right up and runs very strong and is paired with the original 4 speed transmission. The factory VW code exterior paint is in outstanding condition and shines brilliantly in the sun. The gray interior is equally as impressive with only signs of normal wear and tear. These VW buses have been increasing in value substantially in recent time. Description:

In the heyday of the muscle car, Goats and Birds equipped with Ram Air powerplants literally flew off the dealer lots and onto dragstrips and street-racing venues across the country. Tuners and hobbyists alike routinely messaged the cylinder heads to raise compression, installed a lumpy 31/44 racing cam, and bolted on a set of headers and performance mufflers to extract every ounce of the engine’s potential. The decade and technology may have changed, but hobbyists continue to employ the same tried-and-true tricks. Example 2,000 WS6 T/A. With 450 rwhp and show-quality paint and detailing, this T/A is an accurate representation of what can be accomplished with careful research and a commitment to detail. This 2000 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am WS6 Convertible has a four-speed Manual transmission with electric overdrive & a monstrous 5.7-liter V-8 that would power half of Disneyland. This Firebird TA pumps out 320 horsepower at 5200 rpm to move this 3536-lb baby. The WS6 performance and handling package that includes a ram air induction system, five-spoke 17-inch wheels, grippy speed-rated radials, low-restriction dual outlet exhausts, a specially-tuned suspension and a power steering cooler that does nothing to chill your ardor behind the wheel. The coolers main function is to bring down the operating temperature of the power steering fluid through the somewhat truck feel to the steering wheel would seem to preclude its necessity. Like all low-slung sports cars, the Firebird, with 4.5 in of ground clearance, the back seat is very roomy, while the front seats are racing-style, power-adjustable six-way lumbar-support buckets that can take you cross-country as comfortably as any luxury touring car. Don’t be budget-conscious, remember youll have to feed this puppy with high-priced 91-octane fuel. Fuel economy is rated at 18 cities, 27 highways. The TA has a package that includes interior controls, trim and features such as cupholders and remote radio buttons on the steering wheel. The traction control system (TCS) that comes on automatically every time you start the car, is activated by a push-button near the dash. Limiting wheel spins - easy to accomplish with this Trans Am model - it goes into action by closing the throttle and managing engine spark. If youre in cruise control when you start to slip, the TCS will automatically disengage it. Brakes, of course, are powerful and ready to perform, vented discs in front, power-assist in back, coupled with an ABS system. I found the suspension system very solid. It has front tubular stabilizer bars with links, gas-charted shocks, and a 30-mm stabilizer bar, while in the back are a Salisbury axle with torque arm, trailing arm, track bar, coil springs, and a 19-mm stabilizer bar. All practically guaranteed to give you a firm, safe ride. As popular as Trans Am are, its generous of Pontiac to include as standard equipment a Passkey II theft deterrent system, along with a theft alarm. No muscle car is worth its salt without a truly splendid audio system, and Firebird delivers with a Delco radio and CD player with a 500-watt Monsoon ten-speaker stereo with a tape player and seven-band equalizer poured into the atmosphere by ten speakers. I’d rate this car a 10 out of 10. To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For more information please call the Fort Lauderdale showroom at 954-227-4202 or email us at Fortlauderdale@GatewayClassicCars.com.

The suggested retail price back in 1971 on this Cougar XR7 convertible was $5,350.00, not a cheap car for 1971! This Cougar is finished in a beautiful shade of Maroon Metallic that looks fantastic against the white vinyl interior and white convertible top. Powering the Cougar is a 351 CID V8 engine with an automatic transmission transferring the power to the pavement. One unique feature in the interior is the factory tachometer and rally gauges. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our Saint Louis Showroom is a first-year first-generation Ford Thunderbird painted in a rare Goldenrod Yellow with a white soft top, white hardtop with black and white two-toned interior. Powering this classic is a 292-cubic inch V8, the only available engine for 1955. This one is equipped with a manual 3 speed transmission and optional over drive. The over drive is a neat unit. Once in 3rd gear and youre ready, pull the T handle beneath the dash and youre in! Other equipment includes power seats, wide white wall radial tires and a white hardtop. To add some personal touches, the previous owner decided to paint the hard-top white as opposed to keeping it body color as the factory would have painted it. The soft top is also white which would have been black fabric from the factory. These personal touches give the car a unique look and help it stand out from other 55 Thunderbirds. This is easily reversible if someone chooses. Recent maintenance includes new tires, new clutch and a rebuilt carburetor. In 1955 Ford introduced the Thunderbird to knock a dent into Corvette sales. Ford accomplished this with flying colors. 1955 Corvette production reached 700 units compared to Fords whopping 16,155! Chevrolet needed some serious help if they were going to save the Corvette. Eventually, Ford decided to lean more towards the luxury side and away from the performance side that the Corvette was pursuing. The Thunderbird has had a long and interesting run over the years. However, theres no mistaking the first run of the 1955 through 1957 T-Birds. They are the most collectible of any Thunderbird and will always be the most collectible. These hard and soft top equipped Thunderbirds are very cool, giving you the coupe and convertible feel all in one car. Call our Saint Louis showroom for more information on this early T-bird at 618-271-3000 or email STL@gatewayclassiccars.com. To view HD photos and video, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com

Description:

This 1977 Ford Mustang Cobra II is for sale in our Louisville showroom. This is far from your ordinary Mustang II. The Cobra II debuted in 76 which included a black grill, hood scoops, front and rear spoilers, rear quarter window louvers, racing stripes and the iconic Cobra logo. This year in particular has the hood scoops turned the opposite way to reveal a sinister look sure to strike fear when seen in a rear view mirror. In order to bring the Mustang II to its performance roots, Ford elected to throw a V8 back in the humble Mustang. This Cobra II’s 302 CID v8 engine has been fully rebuilt from top to bottom. Some engine goodies include an Edelbrock cam and lifters, Edelbrock Performer dual plane aluminum intake, and a Holley 600 carburetor. A rebuilt c4 automatic transmission puts the power to the ground of this 77,000 mile machine. The exterior of this Cobra II is far from ordinary as it has been painted in Lime Gold Metallic Paint and shimmers beautifully in the light. Smoothed and recessed bumpers give the car a smaller and more attractive appearance. The exterior of this car takes the basic shape of a Mustang II and makes it worth giving a second look. An otherwise easily overlooked car has been given a new sexy look and it definitely turns heads of the 1st gen mustang purists. The Black vinyl interior is one of the coziest performance minded interiors Ford has ever dreamed up. Description:

The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1973 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible for sale. This is an owner stated numbers matching car with 50,435-miles on the 350 cu engine rated at 190-hp, with a 4-speed manual. She will come with records from the previous 3 owners, as well as receipts, all contained in a 3-ring binder. She has a new convertible top, rear calipers, and new brake lines. The car was repainted some time ago, and still shows well. The Corvettes specialty is clearly stated on its invitation. No other production sports car is so smooth and manageable at its limits and none will cover for the drivers mistakes as quickly and easily as will the Corvette. It understeers but only a little considering the power it has on tap. And the on-and-off power and the straight-to-curve transitions are gradual and smooth. Consequently, it is a very quick car over the road, faster than any other at the same price. Its comfortable. Everybody fits into the cockpit except for the very tall. The controls are a pleasure to use. But more than anything else, the Corvettes composure in high-speed touring situations must be credited to the design. Options include: posi-traction rear end, power steering, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, a/c, am/fm radio, leather interior, rally wheels, radial tires, and the optional luggage rack. To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For more information please call the Atlanta showroom at 678-894-4833. Description:

For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is this beautiful 1975 Triumph TR6 that is in great condition. TR6s are one of the most sought after British sport cars on the market today. They are still affordable today and the TR6 series is a great investment. With a steady climbing value, the right time has come to make one your own before they get too expensive. The one that we have for sale in our South Florida showroom is the one you want. This Triumph is in great condition, beautiful inside and out. The car was recently repainted and looks fantastic in its orange color. It isnt a secret that classic cars like to rust. There is no reason to be worried with this one. The body is in fantastic condition. We checked the whole sheet metal and there are no signs that this TR6 was ever involved in any collision. Our magnet sticks everywhere like glue and the body lines up like in 75. Lets continue and jump in the drivers seat. You will be amazed how clean the inside is. There are no cracks, rips or any other damage. Everything looks great including the carpet and the wooden dashboard. Turn the key and the real fun begins. The inline 6 cylinder sounds like it is just broken in and has enough power to let your cheeks flap in the wind. Of course, the old British sports car is shifted by a 4 speed manual transmission. It is just fun to drive this TR6. Just one peak in the clean engine compartment will tell the story of this car. This roadster has always been in good hands and well taken care of. There is only one problem with this car, it needs a new owner that will continue to take good care of her. She is ready to go and it is a must see. Please give us a call to find out more about this beautiful 1975 Triumph TR6. Let it ride!!! To see 100+ HD pictures and a video of this 1975 Triumph TR6, please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
