Description:

Attention Pontiac Fans! Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT. This rare model was a real sweetie offer by GM for only 2 years in the US. Built by Holden in Australia, the G8 was the same as a Holden Commodore rebadged for the US. This four door sport sedan could be had in several trim levels with a variety of engines. This one is the G8 GT which comes with the 6.0 Liter L76 V8. This impressive lump churns out 361 horsepower which is delivered to the rear wheels. In this example, the GT sports a 6 speed automatic transmission which will get the car to 60 MPH in 5.3 seconds. With performance like that, this is a competitor to cars like the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, or the BMW 5 series. This particular example is finished in bright red on the exterior and sits on a sharp set of 5 spoke alloy wheels. The interior features black leather upholstery with plenty of options. This is a comfortable full sized sedan that can be driven daily, but enjoyed as a drivers car when you feel like leaning on your right foot. With only 62,075 miles on the odometer, this baby has plenty of life left. You can see this very sharp 2009 Pontiac G8 GT in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 618-271-3000 or stl@gatewayclassiccars.com with any questions.

Description:

This is not your typical Mustang. This one is packing an incredible supercharged 645HP SVT Cobra 4.6L V8! This amazing car still runs on pump gas! 1998 saw the lowest production numbers for the SVT Cobras, with only 8,654 being produced and only 3,480 of those were convertibles, with Canary Yellow being the second rarest color, with only 555 convertibles dripped in that color. In addition to its mean appearance, this Cobra came to play. While the stock 4.6L V8 produced a respectable 305 hp, this one has been ramped up, and now pumps out 646.5 hp thanks to a Vortech Polished T-Trim Supercharger and a plethora of other engine upgrades, including: Vortech oversized plugs and wires, Vortech Mondo blow-off valve, Speerco 3 Core Intercooler, and a laundry list of other performance parts. While this Cobra can make even the most powerful vehicles look weak, it also has all of the amenities you would expect from a 1998, including: power door locks, ABS, AM/FM radio, power steering, power windows, dual air bags, cruise control, leather interior, and multi-disc CD changer. This thing is the best of both worlds, fast car and great looks! You will not be disappointed. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. **THIS VEHICLE IS TITLED AS A 1947 CHEVROLET** Gateway Classic Cars is proud of offer this 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster. The Chevrolet Fleetmaster is an automobile which was produced by Chevrolet in the United States for the 1946, 1947 and 1948 model years. Titled as a 1947 This 1948 Chevrolet benefited from a ground up restoration and a new paint job. The six cylinder engine was rebuilt and bored 30 over at the time. The transmission was also rebuilt and is a three speed manual. Both have less than 100 miles on them since completion. The tan interior is also new and shows very well. These older coupes with split windshields, opposing wipers and column shifters don’t just move you from one place to another. They are time capsules that take you down the highway to another era. Maybe you remember riding in one with your grandfather, or father. Or maybe you had one yourself. Driving this car down the highway is an experience you will not forget. This car is equipped with new radial tires that improve both ride and handling characteristics. It starts easily, runs and shifts as it should and goes down the road like it owns it. When anyone sees this large chrome grille in the rear view mirror they will be sure to move over and get out of the way. Description:

The second-generation Pontiac Firebird was produced between 1970 and 1981 and saw some radical changes in power during the EPA influenced decade. In 1971, the legendary 455cid engine first became available in the Trans Am model. Output from the 455HO was rated at 335hp. The option was discontinued after 1976 for Trans Am and Formula models and by 1979, the best-selling year ever for the Trans Am, the 6.6 (400cid) power plant was restricted to 220hp. The owner of this mean green 1979 Formula decided to set things right by sourcing a 1975 455cid motor mated to a TH400 automatic transmission and stock posi differential. The owner reports 2,000 miles since the rebuild that includes a high-flow water pump, 7qt oil pan, 850 quadra jet carb, new valves, guides & seals and pistons. Add an upgraded front suspension, new disc brake system components, fuel tank and a serious sound system and this ride is complete. This beautiful 1979 Pontiac Firebird Formula is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is fired up in presenting this custom brown and tan 1937 Dodge Sedan Delivery at its Milwaukee Showroom. The 1937 Sedan Delivery model was largely based on a passenger car frame but nothing about this stunning build stayed anywhere close to original. This stunning hot road was treated to a full frame-off build in 2014. This amazing machine features a 318 cubic inch Chrysler LA small block bolted up to a 4-speed manual transmission. This mighty V8 which had its top end rebuilt by Cool Hand Customs LLC, screams through a set of long tube headers that come out to short side pipes. This makes for an aggressive exhaust note and a real tone setter of the hot rod nature of this beast. All lines are custom bent copper. Additional features include Wilwood front disc brakes, aluminum fuel cell and a Be Cool one-piece radiator. The hand-crafted bodywork and gorgeous paint are show quality. Done in a tasteful Safari Beige and Cream, both the interior and exterior finishes combine vintage and modern hot rod elements. The interior shows very well featuring a matching metal flake paint that runs in the interior floorboards alongside oak wood floors and oak wood paneling coming up do custom made rear seats with cloth upholstery. To tell any potential buyer that purchasing this will set them apart from the crowd or that this is one of a kind is truly an understatement. This 1937 Dodge Sedan Delivery is available at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in person, it can be seen at our Milwaukee Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144. Description:

We are trilled to offer to for sale in our Saint Louis Showroom this Chesterfield Brown 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Accenting the Chesterfield Brown exterior is the tan phoenix, or screaming chicken depending on who you talk to, and the Camel Tan vinyl interior. The paint was resprayed at some point and shines with pride. The vinyl interior is believed to be original, it has aged very well, showing little signs of wear and aging. Powering this 78’ Trans Am is a W72 6.6L 400 4BBL V8, which is believed to be the original engine it rolled off the assembly line with. The W72 400 V8 was more powerful than the standard L78 by at least 20 horserpower. The 3-speed automatic transmission is also believed to be original and shifts the power to the rear end beautifully. The 2nd generation of GM/Pontiac’s F-Body vehicles hosted an array of impressive body lines, eye-opening powertrain, and new options for over a decade (1970-1981), and this specific arrival is a shining example of why the 2nd generation held such a lengthy tenure. The odometer on this T/A reads 1,574, which has rolled over, and the actual mileage is believed to be 101,574. Options for this 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am include: Air Conditioning (inoperable), AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Cruise Control, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, and Rally Wheels. This is a PHS documentated 78’ Trans Am that has been maintained, cared for, and runs and drives incredibly well. To view this 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom. So beautiful, in fact, that in 1961 when the car was first introduced, Enzo Ferrari exclaimed its the most beautiful car ever made. With the sleek lines and opalescent gunmetal color paint, this Jaguar is one of a kind. The chrome pieces help make this E-Type pop. From the chrome front bumper, headlights then to the taillight and back bumper This beauty is powered by a 3.8L Inline-6 DOHC with a 4-speed manual transmission and only 500 miles since its been rebuilt. This Jaguar has had a complete rotisserie restoration by a well-known classic Jaguar restoration shop and comes with the documentation too. The Jaguar wire wheels are wrapped in radial tires. Once you open the drivers door, inside you will be flashed back to 1964 when this Jaguar came off the assembly line. Youll find biscuit colored vinyl bucket seats that are the same color as the carpet. Drop the manual convertible top down and go for a nice country drive with the wind blowing through your hair. NAVIGATION

Equipped with a supercharged 4.2-liter V-8 rated at 400 horsepower, a whipping 105-horsepower increase over the naturally aspirated version.
Connected to a ZF-built, six-speed automatic, the V-8 enabled the portfolio to hit 60 mph from a standing start in only five seconds on its way to a top speed of 155 mph.

While the standard XJ had a subtle appearance that did not exude opulence or aggressiveness, the Portfolio blended both characteristics thanks to its design being heavily inspired by the Jaguar Concept Eight.
The sedan borrowed many of the features seen on the show car, including the sculpted aluminum vents in the front fenders, the mesh grille that replaced the standard vertical slat element, the polished, and 20-inch alloy wheels.
The longer wheelbase, which gained five extra inches, also helped with the opulent look.
Only two exterior colors were available, the classy Black Cherry and the attention-grabbing Winter Gold.

Inside, the Super V8 Portfolio was even more spectacular !!!! Also inspired by the Concept Eight, the cabin was sporty and elegant at the same time, featuring Jaguar's most luxurious amenities at the time.
The seats, the dashboard, most of the door panels, center console and steering wheel were covered in soft leather, while the floor had wool carpet mats.
The dash, center console, door panels, and fold-down picnic trays in the front-seat backs featured authentic wood inserts. Customers were able to choose between two types of wood, one of which was American black walnut.

The four-seat configuration gave rear-seat passengers ample legroom.
All four seats had power-adjustable backrests, three-stage heaters, while a four-zone climate control provided optimum comfort front and rear. The front-seat headrests were equipped with 6.5-inch screens for the DVD entertainment system with individual controls for both rear-seat passengers.

The Portfolio's outstanding performance compared to its German competitors was possible thanks to its aluminum structure, which made it nearly 800 pounds lighter than the long-wheelbase BMW 760Li! Its lightweight construction also made it more fuel efficient than its main rivals.

Simply put, the Super V8 Portfolio is the finest Jaguar sedan ever offered. At $115,595, it should be, but it's gentleman's-club comfortable, well equipped, and gorgeous. Just 145 IN THE COUNTRY!
