Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 2005 Ford Thunderbird 50th Anniversary! Ford reintroduced the Thunderbird model in the early 2000s and this model year marks the 50th anniversary from the original 1955 model. Much like the original baby bird the porthole hardtops were optional, and stayed true to the 2 seater roadster styling. In a modern era of front wheel drive vehicles the last Thunderbird stayed true to the RWD platform. Power comes from a 3.9-liter V8 paired up to a 5 speed automatic transmission. The gold exterior looks fantastic, and the interior shows very little wear and tear. The condition makes sense because with just over 20,000 miles this is still like a new car. The CarFax is clean and this young bird runs and drives as it should. The convertible top moves up and down smoothly and this 2005 Ford Thunderbird is a blast to drive! 2005 Ford Thunderbird is for sale in our St. Louis Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information please call our knowledgeable staff at (618) 271-3000 or email us at STL@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

This 1962 International Scout is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The scout was the companys straight competitor to the now popular Jeep. The only issue was they had no idea if the market would be big enough to support 2 4WD leisure vehicles. Introduced to the public in 1960 and only taking 24 months to build from sketch drawing to finish. This was a monumental feat considering the size of IH as a company requiring them to piece out the job. IN other words, IH did not build the scout they put it together. This cool little scout has come a long way since it left the factory back in 62. Gone is the factory economical 4 cylinder upgraded to a 289 which is putting out about 3 times the power making this 2 door a blast to drive. The c4 automatic transmission works as it should shifting thru all 3 gears without hesitation. The paint on the car is clean and looks great. The white on red on white reminds me that this is an American car. Inside the bucket seats are much more modern and extremely comfortable. The shifter located in the middle on the floor is a great addition and makes it feels more like a car than a truck. Which is what the guy was going for when he put this creation together. Options on this 1962 International Scout includes, Hub Caps, Power Steering, Cloth Interior and Radial Tires. This 1962 International Scout for sale can be seen at our Louisville showroom, www.gatewayclassiccars.com or call 812- 294-1555 for additional information. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Milwaukee is excited to present this 1971 VW Beetle for sale. The Beetle was first produced in the 1930s with the intentions of becoming the “peoples car or Volkswagen in German. Volkswagen was the brainchild of Adolf Hitler to produce a reliable vehicle for the hardworking people of Germany, and a car that was not only inexpensive but safe to drive. In fact, the Beetle was to be mass produced and sell for 1000 Reich Marks or about $140. Unfortunately, by 1939 World War II had begun ending production of the Beetle shortly after the first car came off the assembly line. After the war ended, Allies helped resurrect the German auto industry to become a global enterprise. At first sales were slow due to the Nazi connection, but by 1975 Volkswagen was the largest vehicle importer in the United States. Reaching an incredible fifteen million units sold to date. Our 1967 Volkswagen Beetle convertible Type 1 is a fine example of the “peoples car. The engine is an air cooled 1500cc H4 attached to a four- speed manual transmission. The hot red paint and black interior with a matching convertible top make this Beetle convertible a must have. This 1971 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible also comes with its parade boot. Whether you are a Beetle enthusiast or looking for a little fun in the sun this convertible fits the bill! This 1971 Volkswagen Beetle is available at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in person, it can be seen at our Milwaukee Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this gorgeous 1964 Chevelle Malibu. The Chevelle was intended to compete with the Fairlane and was supposed to reflect a car similar in size to the Classic Tri-Five of the decade prior. They would go down as being some of the most memorable cars of our time. The Malibu continued its reign as the leading seller of the Chevelle and would continue to do so throughout the Chevelles life, because it boasted the highest number of model options with the 4-door sport sedan, 2-door sport coupe, convertible, 4-door sedan, and 2-seat station wagon. One could get anything from a base model 300 coupe with a 230 CI inline 6 with a 3 on the tree, to a 4-door wagon with a 327 and a 4-speed manual, to a fire-breathing 375 HP 396 CID V8 in the SS model. If you wanted it, chances are it could be found in a Chevelle. This beautiful edition of a 1964 Malibu Chevelle is equipped with a period and date code correct 230 CI Inline 6 and the 3 on the tree 3 speed manual transmission. The car was resprayed back to its original Ember Red factory paint code 922 in 2009. The red vinyl interior really matches well with the exterior and really gives this car that 60s nostalgia. This car has been in a couple of movies and music videos and is just the right amount of cool with that cruiser drivetrain. Options on this beautiful 1964 Chevelle Malibu include: Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior,Seatbelts, Rally Wheels and white wall radial tires. Not over the top but enough to make a spectator look over their shoulder to see what is making that beautiful sound. Backing this power-plant is a 4-speed manual transmission giving you all control over handling and performance as you carve the back roads and or cruising strip. Description:

This 1997 Pontiac Trans-Am WS6 is not only one of the cleaniest one owner convertibles that you will find on the road today! It is also a low mileage car with 15,385 miles on the odometer. One look at the exterior of this car and youll notice that the white paint is just as shiny as the day this car was new. A larger valance has been added to the front of the car to help with down force. Also giving it more of an attitude as its going down the street. Matching it all up with the white convertible top is what helps make this car 1 of 41 ever produced with these options. Under the hood is the potent 5.7 LT1 V8 boasting 305 horsepower. An automatic transmission with overdrive takes care of the shifting of gears. Grey leather seats keep the occupants comfortable on any length of trip. Helping put the power to the ground are 17 WS6 aluminum wheels that are wrapped in BFGoodrich tires. Not many cars can be considered a true survivor car. If you are in the market for something that is going to stand out in a crowd but also has been barely broken in this Trans-Am is for you! You can view this 1997 Pontiac Trans-Am WS6 in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Our Detroit Showroom is excited to offer this highly customized 1992 Ford Thunderbird LX. Im sure most people, at first glance, look at this car and go WOW! I cant tell if thats a classic or a late model! Well the answer is, its a little bit of both! Plenty of hours and manpower went into this wildly cool build, and the car still retains its original fire engine red color. Most of the styling cues when designing this masterpiece came from the 1950s Fords. Just to wrap up the classic styling look, this Thunderbird is equipped with a nice set of classic Ford wheels that are wrapped in a nice set of wide white wall tires. Other than the custom body work done to this Thunderbird, the bones of the car are still an all original 1992 Thunderbird. The gray and red interior reflects the exterior customization very well. Powering this customized bird is the original and reliable 5.0L engine that has plenty of power and torque and sounds excellent flowing out of the wide exhaust pipes. Stuck to that original motor is also the original automatic transmission equipped with overdrive to ensure safe highway speeds. If you cant decide between purchasing a 1950s period Ford, or a late model Thunderbird, this car is perfect for you! Other options on this 1992 Thunderbird are A/C, power brakes, steering, locks, seats, sunroof, and windows, radial tires, and more! For more information including over 120HD photos and video, please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or call to speak with one of our friendly and knowledgeable sales staff members at 313-982-3100. Description:

This 1978 Ford Fairmont is for sale at our Louisville showroom. The Fairmont was the beginning car for Fords “Fox platform which spanned over 15+ models from 1977 to 1993. The Fairmont is known for being a dependable and cost efficient soap box style car that shuttled small American families around to school and work in the late 70s and early 80. This particular Fairmont wagon is far from your regular factory fox. It rolled into the showroom 84,753 miles on the odometer and a 302CID v8 muscling it along. A recently rebuilt C4 transmission with 4,000 miles puts the power to the 8.8 rear end with Ranger axles. The suspension on this car has been well sorted with lowering springs in the front and rear along with 2 inch drop spindles from a 96 Mustang. The ride quality is superb and it feels super tight around the corners. Brakes have also recently been gone through. A new Flowmaster exhaust gives the 302 a nice deep tone down low and wails up high. The yellow exterior has held up well over the years with few blemishes. The Tan vinyl interior is in wonderful shape and has been Dynamatted to keep out road noise. The underside has been undercoated with POR-15 keeping the frame rust free as well. A/C works perfectly and will keep you cool even on the hottest days. Brand new Michelin tires mounted on Bullit style wheels give this Fairmont a mean stance and it looks just right!
