So, imagine a 1962 Corvette sitting on a modern frame with up to date suspension and braking, well keep imagining, bolted to the front section of this frame is of course none other than an LS1 5.7 liter Chevrolet V8, backing this modern marvel is GM 6 speed manual transmission to give you full control of the gears. OK now drop the 1962 Corvette for sale body on top of this and stuff the interior full of things like, leather seats, AM/FM with CD player, Air conditioning and Billet Specialties steering wheel, Power windows, you know, options you might find on your average 1962 Chevrolet Corvette for sale in 2018. OK, you have looked at the photos of this car many times, you have watched the video until you can remember everything about it and now you are reading the description looking for just a little more information so here you go, buy this car, it is the bee’s knees, neato, far out and just plain cool as, well you get the point. Description:

The year is 2002, George Bush creates the Department of Homeland Security on June 7th to fight threats of terrorism, The Winter Olympic Games are held in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States, while this 35th Anniversary Convertible Camaro SS rolls off the assembly line. Since then she has only accumulated 29760 miles on her. This LS1 powered Camaro is a blast to drive, especially with the 6-speed manual. The fourth-generation Camaro debuted in 1993 on an updated F-body platform. It retained the same characteristics since its introduction in 1967: a coupé body style with 2+2 seating (with an optional T-top roof) or convertible (reintroduced in 1994), rear-wheel drive, pushrod 6-cylinder and V8 engines. The standard powerplant from 1993-1995 was a 3.4 L V6, then a 3.8 L V6 was introduced in 1995. A 350 CID Small Block V-8 engine, which was introduced in the Corvette in 1992, was standard in the Z28. Optional equipment included all-speed traction control and a new six-speed T-56 manual transmission; the 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission was standard on the Z28, yet optional on the V6 models which came with 5-speed manual as standard. Anti-lock brakes were standard equipment on all Camaros. A limited quantity of the SS version (1996-1997) came with the 330 HP small block engine from the Corvette, although most were equipped with the 305 HP. The 1997 model year included a revised interior, and the 1998 models included exterior styling changes, and a switch to GMs aluminum block LS1 used in the Corvette C5. In 1998, the 5.7 L LS1 was the first all-aluminum engine offered in a Camaro since the 1969 ZL-1 and carried a 325-horsepower rating. The SS versions (1998-2002) received slightly improved exhaust and intake systems, bigger wheels and tires, a slightly revised suspension for improved handling and grip while retaining ride comfort, an arc-shaped rear wing for downforce, and different gearing ratios for faster acceleration, over the Z28 models. Chevrolet offered a 35th anniversary edition for the 2002 model year. Production of the F-Body platform was discontinued due to slowing sales, a deteriorating market for sports coupés, and plant overcapacity, but an entirely new platform went on sale in 2009. The B4C Special Service Package for police agencies was carried over from the 3rd generation & sold between 1993-2002. To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our Denver showroom. Call 303-872-4722 for more information.

Description:

The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1985 Mercedes Benz 280SL. This Euro Benz sports a inline 6 and automatic transmission. The well-heeled usually choose their status symbols for compelling reasons, and this SL process a host of them. They were built with superb care. They show sophisticated engineering. Theyre sublimely comfortable. And because of their bulk and stout structures, theyre just about the safest open cars imaginable. But beyond these attributes, most of the SLs have engines that are just about unburstable. There is a hard top and stand which accompanies this red MB to the new owner. The SL is known for impeccable bodywork and high-quality paint as well as an interior to match the taste of the Benz clientele. With a maximum top speed of 124 mph, a curb weight of 3307 lbs, the 280 SL has a naturally-aspirated - 6 cylinder engine. This engine produces a maximum power of 185 at 5800 rpm and a maximum torque of 240 at 4500 rpm. The power is transmitted to the road by the rear wheel drive. Description:

We have an awesome 1963 Willys Jeepster for sale here in the Milwaukee showroom. This is a truly fantastic restoration of a military vehicle. It is coated in an era correct Olive Drab paint with all emblems, features a 4-cylinder motor with a 3-speed manual transmission and with 4x4 high and low gearing. This was a complete restoration registered with the MVPA and is Parade ready! You will not be disappointed by this incredible military vehicle. The Jeep legend began in November 1940, in the early days of World War II, just a year before the United States entered the war. A small, four-wheel drive prototype, the Willys Quad, was delivered to the US Army. It featured the Willys Go-Devil engine, developed by Delmar Barney Roos. With 60 horsepower and 105 foot-pounds of torque it not only exceeded the Armys requirement, but dwarfed the Bantams 83 and Fords 85 pound-feet of torque, its only competitors for the military contract. The Quad was the father of the MB, CJ series, and Wrangler. Willys refined the Quad and built 1,500 units of the Willys MA model, many of which were used in WWII. From 1941 to 1945 Willys produced the MB model, the original go-anywhere, do-anything vehicle, which came to be known by its nickname, Jeep. Made famous during WWII, Willys produced over 300,000 MB vehicles. Jeeps were heavily used by every division of the American military, with 144 Jeeps provided to every infantry regiment in the U.S. Army. Large numbers of Jeeps were shipped to the Allied Forces of Britain and Russia: nearly 30% of total Jeep production. The MB evolved into the M-38 military model, which featured a waterproof ignition system and was built from 1950 to 1951 specifically for use during the Korean War. During that conflict, Willy redesigned the M-38 and it became the M-38A1 with a longer wheelbase, softer ride, a more powerful engine and a new, more rounded body style. In production through 1962, during that time Willys also produced the M-170, which was designed to be fitted with several different body packages. One was a light troop carrier. Because passengers were somewhat enclosed compared to earlier models, the M-170 was also used as a field ambulance. This beautifully restored 1963 Willys Jeepster is for sale in our Milwaukee Showroom and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com; call (262) 891-4253 or email us at milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com for additional information.

Description:

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this 1928 Ford Pick-up Rat Rod. A rat rod is a style of hot rod or custom car that, in most cases, imitates (or exaggerates) the early hot rods of the 1940s, 1950s, and early-1960s. The style is not to be confused with the somewhat closely related traditional hot rod, which is an accurate re-creation or period-correct restoration of a hot rod from the same era. Most rat rods appear unfinished, regardless of their status, as only the vehicles bare essentials are driven. These are built to drive, not exclusively for show. The truck frame is a Riley auto boxed double Z’d chassis with an 8-inch kick up in the rear. It also features reinforced cross members for added structural strength to handle a higher HP drive train which has been powder coated for longevity. All suspension components are Pete & Jakes Hotrod parts. It has a more traditional style look with the front & rear leaf springs for a buggy set up with a Vega steering box. Powering this sweet rat truck is a 327 CID V8 that is from a 1963 Chevy Corvette. It has a mild cam, new distributor, new spark plugs & wires, Holley double pumper 750cfm carb, new water pump & pulleys, & a new alternator. Coupled to the restored 63’ Vette motor is a Turbo350 3-speed automatic transmission with a 16-inch Lokar shift kit installed. Features a 9-inch Ford rear axle with 3.50 gears. The engine puts out 300HP to the wheels and for a truck that weighs a little as this one does, it really makes this truck get up and move. Bringing this truck to a stop are GM vented disc brakes in the front and Ford drum brakes in the rear. The truck sits on 16-inch Vintiques 14 series reproduction wheels wrapped in Firestone tires. The interior looks very cool as well featuring the original gauge cluster, 2 nice vinyl bucket seats that are comfortable, black rubber carpeting, 1950’s USAF jet fighter lap belts/seat belts, stained & polyurethane wood inserts, & some diamond plating near the firewall. The truck has a new 16-gallon U3 series fuel tank that sits on its wood paneled bed that is in great condition. The truck has that cool patina finish that really gives this truck its rat rod DNA. With the gloss black frame & grill contrasting the polished engine components & the addition of the wood panels, really makes this truck stand out against the rest. To see more of this truck on our website, please visit http://gatewayclassiccars.com/houston/1928/ford/pickup-S846.html. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this awesome 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. The Chevrolet Camaro was released to the public in 1967 to battle the car that started the whole Pony Car craze. Ford’s Mustang. 35 Years later and almost 4.9 million cars sold Chevrolet made the decision to cut the Camaro out of the line-up. They would however have a great sendoff car in the 02 Camaro SS. This example is one of 739 Bright Red, Rally, Convertible, 6 speed, True SS cars that were produced in that year. It has lived a very pampered life which you can tell by just as nice the paint is. Typically, red paint is not the kindest to the ageing process but this one even with its 84403 miles still looks amazing. The black cloth top looks great while in the up position, but everyone knows the real fun happens when that top goes down. The ebony leather interior against the red exterior absolutely sits this car off. Tying it all together is a set of 5-star chrome wheels that have a set of Nitto 555’s on them. The soft compound tires will give you the best possible traction especially once they get warmed up. Under that air induction hood lies the one that started the whole LS craze. This original numbers matching LS has been pampered with the majority of tis time spent on nice days simply cruising with the top down. Backed up by the highly sought-after T- 56 6 Speed transmission this is a driver’s car. With new calipers and slotted rotors added this red rocket will stop on a dime. The SLP loudmouth exhaust is guaranteed to garner the attention of your neighbor when you fire this thing up in the garage. With these new age classics gaining traction in the collector market don’t miss out and be regretting this 10 years down the road. Options on this 2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS include, AM/FM/CD, Power Windows, Power Locks, Tilt, Leather Interior, Power Brakes, Power Steering, and Aluminum Wheels with Radial Tires. This 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For additional information please call our knowledgeable staff at (812)294-1555 or email us at Louisville@GatewayClassicCars.com. If you would like to see it in person, come to our Louisville Showroom located at 13576 Blue Lick Rd., Memphis, IN 47143. Link: http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/LOU/1710/2002-Chevrolet-Camaro-Z28
