Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. With its high impact style, the model represented an unabashedly full size take on the personal luxury car during its era, and this 1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo is a fine specimen that displays its lengthy stylishness effectively. Its harboring a few well-chosen upgrades underneath its hood to up its performance game and is both running and driving great. This vintage Chevy was refreshed a while back with a coat of Green paint that still shows a nice smooth texture and remains in stock configuration, with a set of added clean aftermarket wheels being the only exception to its thoroughly factory style. While at close range you can detect a few subtle signs of wear, make no mistake about it: with its one of a kind profile and overall solid condition, this is a car that will demand plenty of attention just as it is. The motor has been upgraded in this beauty to a nice healthy 454 CI V8 and mated to a TH400 3-speed automatic making this one fun car to drive. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Dallas is presenting a Gem of a 1956 Ford Fairlane. The very best cars you can buy are those that were restored for love rather than profit. This 1956 Ford Fairlane Club Sedan, for instance, probably cost two or three times the asking price to restore, and the labor of love behind the effort didnt care one bit about the staggering cost. The result is an exquisite restoration of an unusual car thats just off-the-charts amazing. The beautiful shade of color on this lovely Fairlane is Colonial White, a perfectly charming 1950s look that seems to encapsulate the time. Fit and finish are very good and the investment in time and labor is obvious everywhere you look. The doors fit flush, the fenders and quarters are smooth and free of distortions, and the paint has a soft glow that looks exactly right on the 1950s Ford. Dramatic side trim was a Ford look in the mid-50s and it gives this car a very upscale look and also provides the perfect breaking point for the monotone paint, and weve always particularly enjoyed the way the headlight rings wrap around into the hood. There are thousands of dollars worth of chrome on this car, too, with brilliant newer bumpers, shiny stainless with a lot of detail, and correct emblems including the delicate Club Sedan script on the doors. The Medium Brown interior is equally impressive and the unusual fabrics and color are most definitely correct for 1956. The two-door club sedan is what most folks call a post coupe and theres plenty of room front and rear for full-sized adults. Both bench seats wear correct patterns and that funky fabric with beautifully stitched door panels to match. The gauges will probably look familiar to anyone who has driven an early 2-seat Thunderbird and the color-matched steering wheel is beautifully finished. Correct carpets and a taut headliner are details that make it feel fresh inside and theres very little wear since it was completed. A factory AM radio remains in the dash, although like many cars of this era, it works it sometimes struggles to find a station. Theres also a massive trunk in back, making this an ideal road trip car, and its dressed up with a correct plaid mat and a full-sized bias-ply spare tire that may very well be the original one. A Thunderbird-spec 292 cubic inch V8, which is believed to be the original motor, is planted under the hood and it gives the club sedan sparkling road manners. Supremely smooth at idle and energetic enough to make this heavy cruiser feel quick, its a bit of performance in an otherwise fairly conservative package. Complete with a heavy-duty air cleaner, bright Ford Red paint on the block, and black Thunderbird valve covers, it looks all correct under the hood. Other period bits include reproduction hose clamps, a cast iron master cylinder, and a reproduction battery top that looks right. A 3-speed Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission makes the most of the engines broad torque curve and there is easy-cruising gears outback. Youll also note that the underside of the car is very original and incredibly solid and with a newer burbling dual exhaust system that featured reproduction chambered mufflers, it makes wonderful sounds going down the road. Period-style wide whitewall bias-ply tires are fitted to the original wheels with shiny hubcaps, finishing the awesome stock look. Wonderful colors make this a standout car, even though its also subtle. A true labor of love, this car is impressive in every way and it shows. Club Sedans dont come up for sale all that often in this condition, and they certainly never last long when they do. Call today! To view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and videos, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 2005 Ford Thunderbird 50th Anniversary! Ford reintroduced the Thunderbird model in the early 2000s and this model year marks the 50th anniversary from the original 1955 model. Much like the original baby bird the porthole hardtops were optional, and stayed true to the 2 seater roadster styling. In a modern era of front wheel drive vehicles the last Thunderbird stayed true to the RWD platform. Power comes from a 3.9-liter V8 paired up to a 5 speed automatic transmission. The gold exterior looks fantastic, and the interior shows very little wear and tear. The condition makes sense because with just over 20,000 miles this is still like a new car. The CarFax is clean and this young bird runs and drives as it should. The convertible top moves up and down smoothly and this 2005 Ford Thunderbird is a blast to drive! 2005 Ford Thunderbird is for sale in our St. Louis Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

This 1962 International Scout is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The scout was the companys straight competitor to the now popular Jeep. The only issue was they had no idea if the market would be big enough to support 2 4WD leisure vehicles. Introduced to the public in 1960 and only taking 24 months to build from sketch drawing to finish. This was a monumental feat considering the size of IH as a company requiring them to piece out the job. IN other words, IH did not build the scout they put it together. This cool little scout has come a long way since it left the factory back in 62. Gone is the factory economical 4 cylinder upgraded to a 289 which is putting out about 3 times the power making this 2 door a blast to drive. The c4 automatic transmission works as it should shifting thru all 3 gears without hesitation. The paint on the car is clean and looks great. The white on red on white reminds me that this is an American car. Inside the bucket seats are much more modern and extremely comfortable. The shifter located in the middle on the floor is a great addition and makes it feels more like a car than a truck. Which is what the guy was going for when he put this creation together. Options on this 1962 International Scout includes, Hub Caps, Power Steering, Cloth Interior and Radial Tires. This 1962 International Scout for sale can be seen at our Louisville showroom, www.gatewayclassiccars.com or call 812- 294-1555 for additional information. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Milwaukee is excited to present this 1971 VW Beetle for sale. The Beetle was first produced in the 1930s with the intentions of becoming the “peoples car or Volkswagen in German. Volkswagen was the brainchild of Adolf Hitler to produce a reliable vehicle for the hardworking people of Germany, and a car that was not only inexpensive but safe to drive. In fact, the Beetle was to be mass produced and sell for 1000 Reich Marks or about $140. Unfortunately, by 1939 World War II had begun ending production of the Beetle shortly after the first car came off the assembly line. After the war ended, Allies helped resurrect the German auto industry to become a global enterprise. At first sales were slow due to the Nazi connection, but by 1975 Volkswagen was the largest vehicle importer in the United States. Reaching an incredible fifteen million units sold to date. Our 1967 Volkswagen Beetle convertible Type 1 is a fine example of the “peoples car. The engine is an air cooled 1500cc H4 attached to a four- speed manual transmission. The hot red paint and black interior with a matching convertible top make this Beetle convertible a must have. This 1971 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible also comes with its parade boot. Whether you are a Beetle enthusiast or looking for a little fun in the sun this convertible fits the bill! This 1971 Volkswagen Beetle is available at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. Description:

**MORE PHOTOS AND A VIDEO COMING SOON** Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to offer this striking 1986 Mercedes-Benz 500SL for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. This Euro-sourced Mercedes has several advantages over its American-market contemporaries. SLs in the USA were gasping for air to meet stringent emissions requirements and appeared tacky thanks to ridiculous looking 5-mph bumpers and sealed beam headlights- regulations that had not been altered since the 1940s. This 500SL, painted in a striking “Signal Red has no such appearance defects. Imported to the US in the early 2000s from Germany and owned in the state of Washington, this Merc has been thoroughly enjoyed and clocked a healthy 178,000 miles since new. Fear not: there are plenty of examples out there of these Autobahn-burners with many more miles on their original powertrains, which is not something that can be said for every Mercedes-Benz on the market. Styling is one thing, but under the hood is the equally desirable, Euro-market only, aluminum block 5.0l V8 that produced 248hp and 298lb ft of torque from the factory. If you remember the 80s which was a dark time for performance, youll nod your head in enthusiasm at those numbers! The 3-speed automatic transmission still shifts like youd expect a Mercedes to and the owner has recently replaced the timing chain- a common but expensive repair needed on higher mileage 500SLs like this. Inside is the Tan leather interior that has clearly been used but is still a nice place to sit. With all electricals functioning and an aftermarket radio installed, you can be on your way in comfort and style! A Mercedes-Benz like this one is not only a desirable automobile but is something that could be a perfect candidate for a weekend driver thats also primed for a partial restoration. Get your hands on this Euro-spec 1986 Mercedes-Benz 500SL today before someone else does! Our helpful and knowledgeable Sales team will help you if you call (623) 900-4884 and well put our eyes and ears on this German luxury classic 1986 Mercedes-Benz 500SL for you. Description:

This 1997 Pontiac Trans-Am WS6 is not only one of the cleaniest one owner convertibles that you will find on the road today! It is also a low mileage car with 15,385 miles on the odometer. One look at the exterior of this car and youll notice that the white paint is just as shiny as the day this car was new. A larger valance has been added to the front of the car to help with down force. Also giving it more of an attitude as its going down the street. Matching it all up with the white convertible top is what helps make this car 1 of 41 ever produced with these options. Under the hood is the potent 5.7 LT1 V8 boasting 305 horsepower. An automatic transmission with overdrive takes care of the shifting of gears. Grey leather seats keep the occupants comfortable on any length of trip. Helping put the power to the ground are 17 WS6 aluminum wheels that are wrapped in BFGoodrich tires. Not many cars can be considered a true survivor car. If you are in the market for something that is going to stand out in a crowd but also has been barely broken in this Trans-Am is for you! You can view this 1997 Pontiac Trans-Am WS6 in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Monte Carlos were one of the most memorable cars from the 1980s, a decade that was largely forgettable when it came to styling and performance. The current owner won multiple awards with this vehicle and it has been entered in big shows such as the All GM division at Carlisle. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is presenting a 1927 Ford Model T for sale. This Model T is equipped with what we believe to be the factory front-mounted 177-cubic-inch inline four-cylinder engine. The ignition system used in the Model T was an unusual one, with a low-voltage magneto incorporated in the flywheel, supplying alternating current to trembler coils to drive the spark plugs. This ignition made the Model T more flexible as to the quality or type of fuel it used. This Model Ts original ignition system is operable, but it also has been enhanced with an Electric ignition system. Its transmission presents as the standard planetary gear type billed as a three speed. Today it’s considered a two-speed, because one of the three speeds is reverse. The Ford Model T was named the most influential car of the 20th century in the 1999 Car of the Century competition. Fords Model T was successful because it signified innovation for the rising middle class and became a powerful symbol of the United States age of modernization. With 16.5 million sold, it stood eighth on the top ten list of most sold cars of all time, as of 2012. This Beautiful piece of history is painted in Black with Tan cloth interior. The battery has been placed under the floor, in the rear, driver side. The experience you get from driving this 1927 Model T is unforgettable. It is like a trip thru time.
