Description:

This 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 73 Mustang is what many will consider the last year of the original Pony car. With the 67 to 72 cars reaching unheard of prices these 73’s are seeing a huge increase in demand. There longer front ends are beginning to catch on with some people preferring them over the earlier cars. This example has been through only 3 owners in the past 25+ years with each one maintaining the car and even keeping the receipts that have been passed on as well. The paint on the car is probably the first thing that catches your eye with it dark and deep red really pulling you in. The silver accents are a nice touch while the black rear and front chin spoiler are left in their natural flat black finish. The custom Mag wheels are a great addition and give the car a more modern feel. The black convertible top looks good when it is up but looks best tucked away and under the either white or black tonneau cover. Under the hood is the most popular engine to ever be put in a Mustang, the small block 302. This one was rebuilt about 8000 miles ago and still runs out great. The 3 speed manual transmission shifts thru the gears nicely with the clutch having a good feel and actually easier to use than most. The interior has been done in a sleek white vinyl with red accents bringing the outside in. If you have been wanting a fun Pony car that has that great modern look this 73 Mustang is the perfect car. Options on this car include AM/FM/CD, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Top, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. Description:

This awesome 1973 Chevrolet Camaro is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The second generation of GM’s Pony car was released in the spring of 1970 as a 70 Model. They were an instant hit with the public due to their great fastback styling and the endless list of options. They were not highly sought-after cars in the collector car market until recently. Now they have almost a cult like following with the 70-73 models being the most desirable. This example has had quite a bit of work done in order to bring it to its current condition. Receipts show that the build began back in late 2007 with the majority of the work being completed in the next 2 years. We will start with the body of this beauty which appears to have had both front fenders replaced. With the fitment of the doors and hood being well with in 73 standards the car was then painted. The dark blue is very similar to the iconic Admiral blue which shows off the lines of the Camaro nicely. The white racing stripes going over the hood and trunk lid add to the stock look and compliment the Blue nicely. Sealed in with a couple coats of clear the paint not only looks great but has that added layer of protection. The interior of the car has been taken back to its former glory with the black vinyl buckets upfront being classic 70’s Camaro. The B&M Ratchet style shifter is a nice touch, but I prefer just simply dropping it down in D but is nice to have the option. Under the hood is a very healthy small block 350 giving the car plenty of power. Consisting of your typical go-fast parts such as the huge 4-barrel Edelbrock Carb and matching intake this thing is classic muscle at its best. The TH350 transmission shifts out nicely with a mash of the gas second gear comes rather quickly with a firm shift. The 10-bolt rear end handles the power getting pout down to the pavement with out any worries. The 4-wheel disc brakes get this second-generation Camaro slowed down in a hurry. If you have been looking for a split bumper that is fun to drive, gets everyone’s attention, and don’t cost an arm and a leg this Blue beauty is the one. Options on this 1973 Chevrolet Camaro include; AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 1973 Chevrolet Camaro is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Now for sale at our Houston showroom is this beautiful 1969 Chevrolet El Camino SS. This is a numbers matching 396 CID V8 truck with all the power and torque you could ever want! It made 429hp on the dyno. The sound this truck makes is amazing. The color combination looks amazing with blue exterior and interior to match. Cornering and stopping is made easy with power brakes and power steering. The Turbo-400 transmission is a great match for the torque in this truck and shifts smooth between the gears. The front wheel bearing and seals have been replaces, parking brakes were repaired, new tires installed about 1-year ago, all door locks repaired to work correctly, new fan blad, clutch and fan shroud done, new spark plugs, fuel lines and carb kit done too. All of the bed rails have been replaced underneath. 1968 was the first year for the third generation of El Camino, which was based on the Chevelle station wagon and four-door sedan wheelbase. For 1969 only minor changes took place, led by a more rounded front end styling language. A single chrome bar connected quad headlights, and a slotted bumper held the parking lights. New round instrument pods replaced the former linear layout. For the first time, the Chevrolet 350 V8 was used in an El Camino. The Super Sport group included a 265- or 325-horsepower 396-cubic-inch V8 beneath a double-domed hood, along with a black-out grille displaying an SS emblem. Curiously, back-up lights moved from the rear bumper to the tailgate, where they were ineffective when the gate was down. To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this rare 1995 Pontiac Firebird Formula Firehawk. This convertible is one of only 32 in this color, and only one of 41 as an automatic transmission! The Firehawk was a standard Pontiac Firebird Formula jacked on steroids from Street Legal Performance, or SLP. With a rating of 315 horsepower, these put more power to the streets than the Corvette of the day! Fire up this monster and you’ll get everyones attention real quick! With a touch under 27,000 original miles, this is practically a brand new Firehawk! The black leather bucket seats are extremely comfortable and hold you snugly in place while you test out the handling prowess of this factory hot rod. To the purists, these are the best generation of the Firehawk, as late generations saw more laxed builds and didn’t put as much heart and soul into the builds. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this beautiful 1967 Chevrolet Camaro convertible! This awesome car is finished in Butternut Yellow with black vinyl interior. A color found on about 12.5% of Camaro vehicles made this first model year. 1966 was when the Camaro came to life, appearing in dealerships in September of that year. It was a massive success for Chevrolet as we all know, utilizing their brand new F-body platform. Powering this classic is the entry level 230 CID I6 engine. The I6 was the least powerful of the engine options available, but it was definitely the smoothest and most efficient. If you are looking for a gorgeous weekend cruiser or something to take to a car show, but arent obsessed with crazy hp figured and winning races, then this is probably the engine for you. This car was left as an I6 due to the fact that the engine and transmission are numbers matching and the owner wanted to preserve its originality. You will notice that this car has the RS appearance package too. This includes the hidden headlights, revised taillights with back-up lights under the rear bumper, RS badging, and exterior bright trim. There were tons of options in 1967 for the Camaro including 80 factory and 40 dealer options which could be had on 3 different trim levels. This one is outfitted with an AM radio, manual convertible top, hub caps, power steering and vinyl interior. Dont miss your chance to own this beautiful car. Contact Gateway Classic Cars in Houston for more information. Financing and shipping options are available. Office hours are Monday through Saturday 9-5pm central time. The telephone number for our showroom is (832) 243-6220 or if you prefer, you can email us at houston@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Description:

This 1993 Mazda RX7 Turbo is for sale in our Louisville Ky showroom. The Rotary engine was revolutionary for its time and what many thought would be the direction of the automotive industry. Like many new things they just did not quite catch on but there were some really neat Mazda’s that would take advantage of these high revving high horse power engines. The 93 RX7 turbo is the one that most remember. With a 14 second quarter mile time they were Rockets straight out of the box. This black beast is a great example why so many have fell in love with these tuner classics. The black has been the best-looking color on these rear wheel drive monsters with the taillights blending into the rear end. They still look super modern even if it is 25 years old. The tan interior is another nod to the classic 90’s look and still shows extremely well. Although the car has a little over 84k miles on it the rotary was replaced with a reman one from Mazda which only has a little over 26k miles on it with receipts included in the sale. The Excedy stage one clutch was installed in august of 2016 but with less than 2000 miles on it since then this 93 RX7 is ready for the open road. With the car having a clean and clear Auto History report verifying the mileage and no accidents this has to be one of the best 7’s around. Sounds almost too good to be true yet the best part of it all is the current owner is only the second and bought the car in 95. It really is a great opportunity to own one of these ultra-fun extremely rare sports cars that are doing nothing but going up in value. Options on this 1993 Mazda RX7 Turbo include; AM/FM Radio with CD player, GPS, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Windows, Anti-Lock Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Driver Airbag, Leather Interior, Power Sunroof, Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 1993 Mazda RX7 Turbo can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call at 812-294-1555 or email Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com for more information.

1930 Ford Model A for sale in our Atlanta Showroom location is ready for its next owner. This beauty is painted in a mirror Black paint with red pin striping, red wire wheels with white walls. It looks fresh and runs just as good! The 4-cylinder engine and manual transmission still power this Model A down the road and a lot of new parts keep it running right. The consignor states the engine and transmission have under 300-miles since the rebuild, with a new starter and new alternator. Options aren’t limited on this beauty – that include cloth interior, wire wheels with hub caps, bias ply tires, radiator guard, dual side mounts, dual side mirrors, truck rack and trunk. The Model A was the first Ford to use the standard set of driver controls with conventional clutch and brake pedals, throttle, and gearshift. Previous Fords used controls that had become uncommon to drivers of other makes. The Model As fuel tank was situated in the cowl, between the engine compartments fire wall and the dash panel. It had a visual fuel gauge, and the fuel flowed to the carburetor by gravity. A rear-view mirror was optional. In cooler climates, owners could purchase an aftermarket cast iron unit to place over the exhaust manifold to provide heat to the cab. A small door provided adjustment of the amount of hot air entering the cab. The Model A was the first car to have safety glass in the windshield. Almost 5 million Model A Fords were produced in 9 different body styles before it was replaced by the Ford Model B. This 1930 Ford Modal A is for sale in our Atlanta Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. BACKGROUND: The Avanti was a personal luxury coupe produced by The Studebaker Corporation June 1962 and December 1963. It was marketed as Americas only 4 passenger high-performance personal car. The Avanti broke nearly 30 records at the Booneville Salt Flats in Utah. The naming rights to Avanti were purchased, and the Avanti II was produced from some years.
