Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to present a 1959 Chevrolet Apache Gasser street truck for sale in our Atlanta showroom. She is powered by a 383 cu in stroker, with aluminum heads, Holley Strip Dominator aluminum intake, Holley 650 Carburetor, MSD 6AL ignition, Dougs wheel well headers, driving through a turbo 350 automatic transmission, with Line-Lock, to a 12 bolt posi-traction rear end with 3:73 gears. Consignor states the engine and transmission were recently rebuilt, each having 6,000-miles since rebuild, and 3,000-miles on the rear end. The steel body is in the patina style, painted in flat black paint with various stickers, and the interior is basic with racing seats, with 5-point harnesses. She screams like in the old days with the wheel well open headers you heard me she has no mufflers! The build information on the engine is documented, and contained in the file. Here is some history for those who would like background on this exciting style of dragster. The term Gasser refers to a style of drag race car that was prolific in the late 1950s through the 1960s that ran on gasoline as fuel, as opposed to race fuel. These cars typically competed in heads up drag races that were classed by engine size and car weight. In the faster classes the cars used a straight axle front suspension that produced the intimidating stance that gassers are known for. Easily recognized by common features like the higher front end stance that was developed as a means of weight transfer to the rear wheels for traction, this style became popular later as builders attempted to achieve a traditional or nostalgic race look. These cars became fan favorites as the well-known racers began to run grudge matches for higher purses. In no time these matches were the top billing at many shows due to the crowd entertainment factor. Gassers were the top drag racing classes in the period that is now referred to as the gasser war years, which ranged from 1955 through 1968. In addition to the straight axle, most gassers also sported Halibrand wheels, no front bumper, and had a front mounted Moon tank. The gasser form was dictated by function and most builders looked to eliminate as much weight as possible. Having their exhaust pipes exit through the front fender to shorten the length of exhaust tubing is another common characteristic of gassers. Builders used 1930s through 1950s production coupes or sedans to create these highly modified racing vehicles. Late model cars were not allowed in the Gas classes until 1967, and the gas classes were totally eliminated by NHRA in 1972. They run today all over the United States and down under in Australia and New Zealand in vintage and nostalgia drags. To view this 1958 Chevrolet Apache Gasser, please visit our site at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call 678-894-4833, or email us at atlanta@gatewayclassiccars.com. Our 1982 Buick Riviera for sale is a beautiful Bright Blue Metallic luxury car has got a complementary blue cloth interior. You can tell by looking at this elegant car that its been well-cared for its entire life. Description:

This 1967 Big Block Chevrolet C10 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The C/K line of trucks from GM began life back in 1960 with C representing 2 wheel and the K representing 4-wheel drive. Being one of the longest running name sakes the model designation would finally be discontinued in 1999 in favor of the Silverado. This C10 has some custom touches with the most notable of them being under the hood. The 454 Big Block was of course never available in 67 but who says you can’t put one in it. This 454 runs great with plenty of torque to get you up to speed. The dual exhaust sounds great with the true duals giving that big block a great exhaust note. The TH350 transmission shifts through the gears without hesitation with a firm but smooth upshift. The posi-rear end has a set of 3.08 gears that allow for decent acceleration yet are a little more oriented for highway driving. The White paint on the truck is clean with the patriotic style graphic breaking it up some. A set of custom chrome wheels finish the exterior off and give this 67 a rather modern look. The black vinyl bench is in great shape and actually quite comfortable. If you are looking for truck that is fun to drive with plenty of power when you need it look no further this 67 is the one for you. Options on this 1967 Chevrolet c10 include, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, AM/FM Radio, Power Steering. Power Brakes, and Custom Wheels with Radial Tires. This classic hot rod is ready to hit the streets in style! Less than 1,000 miles have been put on the rebuilt drivetrain of this 1949 Ford which features a 239 cubic inch flat head V8 and a 3-speed manual on the tree. Professionally completed by a automotive shop, this car runs and drives great. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this stunning 2007 Cadillac CTS-V. This black beauty is in outstanding condition inside and out. This model first appeared in 2005. For our cars model year 2007, the engine size was increased from 5.7 liters to 6.0 liters courtesy of the LS-2 V8 used in the standard 2005 Corvette. This increase in size didnt change the HP rating or torque rating, 400 and 395 respectively, but did offer increased responsiveness from the engine. Beginning in 2006 the rear differential was strengthened to cope with the power delivered to it from that corvette engine. Changing gears in the CTS-V is done via a stout TREMAC T56 six speed manual into a 3.73 GETRAG limited slip rear axle. These specifications and others helped the 2007 CTS-V accelerate to 60mph in 4.6 seconds and cover the ¼ mile in 13.1 @ 109 mph. Countering the massive forward thrust of that Corvette 6.0 litre V8 are 13.97 disc brakes up front, and 14.37 discs in the rear slowing this autobahn express from 60mph to zero in 110 feet, per published reports, of the time. All this performance is combined with Cadillac luxury, such as, BOSE Stereo, High performance luxuriously bolstered bucket seats and leather upholstery with suede inserts. This 2007 Cadillac CTS-V also features Chromed factory wheels, Rear Spoiler, and performance enhancing stiffened motor mounts. This 2007 Cadillac CTS-V is in incredible original condition with its mirror like black exterior finish and its sumptuous black leather and suede interior. This rare, red C4-1 is 1 of only 3 privately commissioned C4-1’s made. The C4-1 blends the classic look of a 1953 Corvette with the C4 styling. This beauty is powered by a new 350 crate motor with under 1000 miles on it. The design hints at the classic Corvettes of the early to mid 50’s. This car is in excellent condition and ready for a Sunday drive or trip to your local car show. Produced from 1984 to 1996, the C4 was one of America’s most desirable sports cars during its time. Description:

This truck is owned by a friend of ours and he is the original owner runs and looks brand new
The all-new GMT900 generation of the Silverado/Sierra arrived in the last quarter of 2006 as a 2007 model. It features a redesigned exterior, interior, frame, and suspension as well as a power increases on certain engines. It takes styling cues from the 2007 GMT900 SUVs and the Chevrolet Colorado pickups. Like the GMT900 SUVs, these pickups also have greatly improved aerodynamics over their predecessors like steeply raked windshields and tighter panel gaps which improve fuel economy. The GMT800 models were continued through 2007 badged as "Classic", just as the GMT400 models continued for two years after the GMT800's introduction.

The new Silverado earned the North American Truck of the Year award for 2007 and was Motor Trend magazine's Truck of the Year for 2007. Like its predecessors, the new Silverado offers buyers a choice of two door regular cabs, four door extended cabs (with rear doors that now open 170 degrees similar to the Nissan Titan) and four door crew cabs with the rear doors opening in the same direction as the front doors. GM also offers the trucks in the traditional two and four wheel drive configurations.

The Generation III small block V8 engines offered in the GMT 800 trucks were replaced in the GMT 900 series by the Generation IV small block V8 engine family, featuring upgrades such as increased power and Active Fuel Management on the 5.3 L and 6.0 L V8s. A new high performance 6.2 liter V8 (with 403 hp (301 kW) and 417 lb⋅ft (565 N⋅m) of torque) was introduced with the 2007 Cadillac Escalade and 2007 GMC Denali line, and is now available on the Silverado LTZ trim line. After skipping the 2008 model year, with 2007 being the last for the GMT800 hybrid line, a two-mode hybrid model was introduced in late 2008 as a 2009 model. General Motors discontinued the Silverado Hybrid due to poor sales along with the GMC Sierra Hybrid, Chevy Avalanche, Chevy Tahoe Hybrid, GMC Yukon Hybrid, Cadillac Escalade Hybrid, and Cadillac Escalade EXT after the 2013 model year even though it was the one of the two first hybrid pickup trucks ever manufactured.[13] Available in either two- or four-wheel-drive, the Sierra 1500 Hybrid is powered by a 6.0-liter V8. It's joined by two 60-kilowatt electric motors supplied by a nickel–metal hydride battery pack under the rear seat. On its own, the V8 is rated at 332 horsepower and 367 pound-feet of torque. GM engineers say that combined output with the electric motors is 379 hp. The unique transmission houses the electric motors along with three different planetary gear sets and four traditional clutches.[14]

There were two dash options offered in this model Silverado and Sierra: a luxury-inspired dash that closely mimics the dash in their GMT900 SUVs, and a more traditional upright dash to make room for a passenger seat in place of a center console.

Description:

Magnesium wheels, 6-speed manual transmission, and a control to adjust the car to your preferred driving style? This sounds like a list of options for a super car, although this same list will correlate directly with this well optioned 1999 Chevrolet Corvette! Coated in a beautiful dark metallic red, this car is sure to catch your eye. With the white top up it contrasts nicely against the dark paint and wheels; with the top down the red accents the body lines more and provides a sportier roadster look. As the driver slides into the black leather interior and puts the key in the ignition the seats recognize the driving position it was in last time and will adjust accordingly. Once the seat is adjusted, the driver can select what kind of driving he prefers for the occasion: tour, sport, or performance. The car will adjust the suspension and away you go! The 5.7L V8 pulls hard and, as the RPMs climb and the Borla stainless steel exhaust starts to bark, grab the next gear and get thrown back into the seat. Description:

This 1923 Ford Roadster is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Ford Roadster has long been one of the staples in the Street rod market. This example looks like it was taken straight out of the 1960s. The paint is slick with a lot of flake as well as some detailed airbrushing that really extenuates the lines of this beauty. With the fenders being something not often seen on these beauties, they add a custom touch to this cool rod. The wheels on this car look great with the chrome really helping to tie the whole package together. Sticking between the frame rails is one of the best engines to come out of Detroit. The small block 305 in this beast has plenty of power to get this rod down the road. The old school bug catcher as they were called back then not only looks cool but helps to direct air down to the Barrel carb. The TH350 transmission complements the engine perfectly with it shifting through all 3 gears as it should. Mated up to a Ford 8 Inch that has a great set of highway gears this rod can easily go down the road at highway speed. The interior of this rod is blacked out with the vinyl from the bench seat flowing into the black carpet. The gauges in the dash allow you to monitor the vitals while driving this custom down the road. The black removable top looks great in the car but was made to be removed in case you want the full effect of what a true roadster is. If you are looking for a great rod that is a blast to drive, you should give this one a double take. Description:

For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is this attention grabbing 1979 Jeep CJ5. Nicknamed “High Risk II”, this modified Jeep is easily one of the most fun vehicles we have come across. The “CJ” is short for Civilian Jeep as these Jeeps have roots back to the military. A whopping 603,303 CJ5’s were produced between 1955 and 1983. Despite the popularity, finding restored Jeeps in this condition is becoming increasingly difficult. This bright orange, four wheeled, fun machine is gel coated making for a very durable exterior. On the rear of the vehicle, “High Risk II” is painted onto the body, as is the engine size and model on the sides of the vehicle. Also in the same orange color are two matching fire extinguishers. This Jeep is 100 percent road legal. The black vinyl top works well with black frame that is exposed under the body. Under the hood you will find a 304 cid motor mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. This Jeep drives very well and is smooth under acceleration. This is backed by a 12 bolt rear end. The engine bay also has plenty of chrome, from the alternator, to the fan shroud, to the air cleaner and valve covers. There is also a gear selection based on the type of driving you will be doing, be it off roading, or cruising. The exhaust system consists of long tube headers leading to dual side exit exhaust tips. Inside this Jeep is polished aluminum in all of the right spots. There is an Indy shift knob and pioneer speakers in the rear. This CJ5 sits on American Racing wheels wrapped in some monstrous go-anywhere tires. These extra large tires measure in at a massive 35 inches by 12.5 inches. This lifted Jeep is perfect for anything you throw at it. Go mudding, to the beach, off-roading, or just take it on a trip around town. Let it ride!!! Being an “X” code, this Galaxie originally had a 352, and now sports a 390 cubic inch V8 backed up to a 3-speed automatic transmission, and this baby is meant to cruise! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this sharp 1961 Ford Fairlane for sale. It is turn key and ready to go with only about 5,000 miles on the 351 V8 engine since being rebuilt. This car has the big body luxury feel with the get up and go of a Classic American Muscle car. For 1961, Ford smoothed the sides of the Fairlane. The designers also shortened and angled the fins, starting at the front door handles and flowing back to the rear end of the car. An additional cut-line was placed on the front fenders, ending at a smooth driver’s side door. The front end was also less elaborate, making the car substantially smoother. Emphasizing the space-age look, the taillights went to the round jet-engine look along with the rest of the Ford line. Large, roomy, and pleasantly styled, the 1960 and 1961 Ford Fairlane is surprisingly rare today, though the variety of configurations mean that there is likely a Fairlane to fit virtually any need if it can be found. The overall paint and body of this ’61 is in great condition and shines bright in the sun. Most recognize the Fairlane for its stylish grille and tail lights. The red paint and Cragar rims with offset tires make this ’61 Ford have an aggressive appearance. The custom gray cloth interior with leather trim show minor wear and look great. All the chrome trim, door handles, and bumpers still shine with a mirror like finish. This car has the perfect mix of classic car feel with more updated hot rod style. The dash seems to be original except for the extra gauges and steering wheel. If you are looking for the perfect car to take to car shows, impress your car buddies, maybe your next pro street, or even your first muscle car than this is the car for you. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this sharp 2002 Chevrolet Corvette. The Chevrolet Corvette (C5) was the fifth generation of the Chevrolet Corvette sports car, produced by the Chevrolet division of General Motors for the 1997 through 2004 model years. This sharp yellow convertible has only about 79k miles on it and only a few owners. Powered by a 5.7-liter LS1 engine producing an impressive 345 HP and mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission, this car will not disappoint. The current owner took it a step farther by adding headers, doing some CAM work, and dual quad Corsa exhaust system. Many upgrades were adding when ordering this beautiful machine like the painted alloy wheels, convertible top, adjustable bucket seats, Cd player and sound system, A/C, power heated mirrors, Halogen headlamps and so much more! The C5 is competitive in regard to the 0-60 mph acceleration times with almost all premium sports cars of its era, including the Aston Martin DB7 Vantage, and the Ferrari 355. A composite of published performance numbers for the base-model coupe and convertible gives a 0-60 mph time of around 4.5 seconds, and a standing quarter-mile time of around 13.3 seconds at 108 mph (both times for a vehicle equipped with the 6-speed manual transmission) (this car also has performance upgrades added as well). If you are looking for a like new Corvette that you can drop the top and enjoy than this is the Corvette for you!
