Description:

For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a showroom condition, 1970 Dodge Charger restored as a tribute to the record setting Dodge Charger Daytona. Dodge Daytona’s, also known as the Winged Warriors, did not compete for long in NASCARs top Cup series. On the next season of NASCAR, the executives banned aero specs on cars with engines bigger than 300 Cubic inches. Because of their exceptional speed and performance, NASCAR subsequently changed the rule book, effectively banning all four of the Aero Cars from Dodge, Ford, Mercury, and Plymouth from competition by the end of 1970. The Daytonas short-lived NASCAR career makes these vehicles a piece of history, both in Americana sense as well as engineering. This Charger, now fresh after a restoration, has just 1,149 miles. Under the hood youll find a 440 6-pack big block backed by a 727 TorqueFlite 3-spd automatic transmission. This drivetrain puts power to ground through an 8 3/4 rear-end with 3.23 SureGrip gears. Options include: AC, AM radio(not operable), spare tire, jack, power brakes, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior, rally wheels and raised white letter radial tires. The rear tires are: BF Goodrich Radial TA 255/60/15. Front: BF Goodrich Radial TA 235/60/15. The thorough restoration was meticulous and consisted of taking the body off the frame and powder coating front end components as well as the K-frame. Original gauges were sent off and refurbished and look great! Heck, the clock is working wonderfully! Just closing the door of a classic you can usually tell the quality of the work performed. These doors shut effortlessly and line up! Looking underneath the vehicle you can tell attention to detail was important to this builder. The biggest benefit someone can obtain here is saving thousands on their own restoration while enjoying a piece of history without worrying about depreciating a true Daytona. Its a win-win. To view this vehicle in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our St. Louis showroom. Please call 618-271-3000 for more information!

Description:

For Sale in our Detroit Showroom is a shiny, 1961 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible. 1961 marked the first year for an updated front fascia for the Corvette which removed the teeth from the grill area. This specific Corvette is dressed in Honduras Maroon with a Black vinyl interior. This Corvettes power plant is the biggest selling point of the car, it is an original 283 CID Fuel Injected V8 pumping out a solid 315 horsepower! Only 1400 of these fuel injected Corvettes were made in the year of 1961, the majority of them being converted back to carburetor after finding that the fuel injection system was much too difficult to repair. Paired to that rare and powerful motor is a 4-speed manual transmission that shifts through the gears like a hot knife through butter. The interior on this Corvette is sporting its all original look with a Black vinyl interior which gives you a nostalgic feeling every time you are behind the wheel. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this cool 1979 Datsun 280ZX. The s130 was a sports coupe produced by Nissan in Japan from 78 to 83. A second generation that replaced the s30 in late 78 and the first time a Datsun would be sold with the Nissan name on it. This example is a rare find with all literature including the original Japanese “build sheet” going with this beauty. The paint is clean and true to what it should be with a respray done sometime ago. Owned by the same family since new this cream puff was extremely well taken care of. The interior on this champagne/mahogany example is one of the cleanest original interiors I have seen. With the all the gauges functioning and the AC blowing cold this 280 is ready to go. Loaded with the premium package this Nissan had everything except leather making it a lot more desirable and more fun to drive. Under the hood the original 2.8l is in tip top shape starting right up without a hitch. The inline 6 pulls hard and was designed to rev higher making this an absolute blast to drive. With a softer ride than earlier models the 280 has a smoother ride while not sacrificing performance. If you have been looking to get into the exploding Japanese classic market this would make a great first addition to a collection or get it to simply drive and enjoy. Options on this 1979 Datsun 280ZX include, AC, AM/FM/Cassette, Power Windows, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, and Aluminum Wheels with Radial Tires. This 1979 Datsun 280ZX is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For additional information please call our knowledgeable staff at (812)294-1555 or email us at Louisville@GatewayClassicCars.com. For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a custom, Volkswagen powered 2007 ASVE (Assembled Vehicle) Trike, or tricycle. The bulletproof 1600cc Volkswagen 4 cylinder engine powers this trike down the road with plenty of power to spare. A Type 3 4-speed manual transmission, with center mounted shifter, transfers the power to the Volkswagen rear end with highway gears, perfect for cruising down the interstate. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is proud to present this completely custom 1949 Mercury 9CM Series Coupe. One look at this car and you know this is something special. The car was originally available with a base price of $1,945. This car underwent a frame off restoration by Big Dick’s Muscle Cars. One of the most obvious custom touches on this Mercury is the slammed stance thanks to its custom air ride suspension. Lower or raise the stance of the vehicle with the flick of a switch. The second most obvious touch on this Mercury is the 11 tooth grill by DeSoto. It gives this Coupe a signature look that is instantly recognizable. The car’s laser straight body is painted a beautiful Tuxedo Black with Mercedes Benz Silver and has a two-tone interior to match. This two-tone interior includes custom sewn front and rear seats, a custom center console with brushed aluminum insert, and a custom dash setup. 1952 Buick Super side trim is a beautiful touch to the exterior. Adding to the sleek appearance of this Coupe is the chopped roof, taking four and a half inches off the top. Additional modifications include the body being channeled, shaved, louvered, and Frenched. The car has a shaved hood, shaved doors, and shaved trunk. The car also has 1959 Cadillac taillights with Toronado brake lights under the rear window. This Mercury sits on a 1967 Ford Falcon Chassis. Disc Brakes up front with Ford Thunderbird calipers help this ’49 stop on a dime. The slammed body sits on four deep dish Colorado Custom billet wheels. Driving this Coupe is a pleasure thanks to power steering and power brakes. The sound system on this ride is quite impressive as well. It starts with a Pioneer DVD/CD receiver with Bluetooth. Then comes the 7-inch display with Bluetooth and Audi streaming. Sounds comes from 2 JL audio 6x9 speakers in the rear deck, 2 JL audio 6.5 speakers in the doors, 2 JL audio 1-inch tweeters, a JL audio 10-inch subwoofer, and finally a JL Audio 5 channel amplifier. The engine bay contains the original Ford 302cid engine that is decked out in aluminum with plenty of performance goodies. This flathead V8 has a Competition Cams camshaft and Edelbrock 600 CFM carburetor. The engine also has a Concept One accessory drive pulley kit. The motor is mated to a Ford automatic transmission with overdrive. Auto Meter gauges put the gauge setup in a very clean layout. It also has air conditioning! This car has power steering, power brakes, remote doors, air ride suspension, power locks, keyless entry, GPS, a DVD flat screen, door poppers and air conditioning. Overall this custom ride is simple yet sophisticated. This car will make a statement while moving or at a standstill. Wherever you go, you will not go unnoticed.
