Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to offer a stunning 2005 Honda S2000. The S2000 is one of Honda’s most notable vehicles. A two-seat roadster with aggressive styling, and high-performance abilities; there’s no surprise this vehicle has become a bit of a cult classic. The S2000 name comes from the S500, S600, and S800 roadsters of the 1960s. In this case, the 2000 designates a 2 Liter 4 cylinder which was introduced with the S2000. A second generation starting in 2004 referred to as the “AP2” bumped up the displacement to 2,157cc which was good for 237 horsepower. Backing the dual overhead cam V-Tec 4 cylinder up front is a silky smooth 6 speed manual transmission which delivers power to the rear axle. This layout is a favorite for driving enthusiasts, and some S2000s have been converted to track vehicles thanks to their power, handling, and reliability. This particular ’05 has had a much easier life. With only 28,086 miles, it’s clear this has been a fair weather secondary car. The unique color is “Suzuka Blue” which refers to Suzuka Japan where the car was produced. Suzuka is also home to a race track which is owned by Honda called Suzuka International Racing Course. These Japanese sports cars are becoming highly collectible and it’s clear why. They’re great looking, fast, and extremely reliable. This 2005 AP2 Honda S2000 would make a great collector’s piece. Whether you’re a sports car collector, or new to the sports car hobby, this would be a great choice. You can see this S2000 in greater detail in our Chicago showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 708-444-4488 or chicago@gatewayclassiccars.com with inquiries. See more at: http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/CHI/1430/2005-Honda-S2000

Description:

This 1927 Chevrolet Capitol Cabriolet is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. 1927 was a pivotal year for the auto industry. Henry would bring out his Model A which was an evolution of the Model T. The Chevrolet capitol would be the first real competition for Ford making this a do or die move. Priced right inline with the Model A the Capitol would steal a pretty good piece of the market from ole Henry. This example has been restored to what you would expect to see back in the 20’s. The green paint looks good with the black accenting it perfectly. The rims are correct and with the tires being tall and skinny which was due to the roads not being paved. There is even a spare tire on the back just in case you don’t have AAA. Under the hood is the 4 cylinder that really brought Chevrolet into the main stream. The 171 CID inline 4 produced a little less than 30 HP. The 3 speed Manual Transmission shifts like it should making these cars a little challenging but extremely fun to drive. The top is in great condition but is most likely going to be used on a slim occasion. This car is made for those sunny days with the top being a just in case thing. Kind of like that hand powered wiper, I don’t think I would want to be caught out with that thing. The bench seat is vinyl allowing for easy cleaning while being extra durable. Options on this 1927 Chevrolet Roadster include; Bias Ply Tires, Steel Wheels, Manual Convertible Top and Vinyl Interior. This 1927 Ford Roadster is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For additional information please call our knowledgeable staff at (812)294-1555 or email us at Louisville@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Freshly rebuilt from the ground up with only 200 miles on it, this stunning GTO is ready to tear up the streets this summer! 1968 was the very first year of the completely transformed second generation GTO. This new generation was featured a semi-fastback roof line, an endura front bumper, and overall a much more curvy body. This one in particular has had a complete restoration that included tearing down the 400 cubic inch V8 and rebuilding it back with a few minor performance upgrades including an aluminum Edelbrock intake for better flow and weight reduction. An electronic ignition was added for better drivability and reliability. The TH400 transmission was also rebuilt at the same time for crisp shifting and to handle the rebuilt engine’s power. The front suspension and steering components were replaced at the same time providing a smooth ride and absolute control on your cruise. As you slide behind the wood grained steering wheel and turn the key, the exhaust lets out a low bellow building the expectation for your drive. Drop it into gear and lean on the throttle; the low bellow turns into a roar and you cannot help, but grin! The sound is perfect for the looks and feel of this classic GTO. If you are looking for a great fair weather cruiser or something you can take down the road to the local car show or drive in, this GTO would be an excellent option! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1968 Pontiac GTO in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Description:

This 2004 Cadillac XLR is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. Cadillac has always been known for leading the way in the American made luxury car market and has done so since its beginning in 1902. Going through somewhat of a slump in the late 90s a brand overhaul was ordered by parent company GM. Feeling that Cadillac had become a car that could only be found in retirement communitys they gave every and all Cadillacs a serious face lift. The XLR was more than a facelift it was a whole new line of car. The idea and even the execution of a 2-door convertible were not new to Cadillac. They had built them in the past, but a convertible hardtop, that was actually built by Mercedes to be used on top of a C6 Chassis, that was unheard of. The new body would be more aggressive and cutting edge than anything Cadillac had done before. This XLR is a great example of those early runs and with only 15000 being built over an 8-year span there is no reason why these should not begin to start gaining value. This blue example is one of the most sought after with only 792 being made during its 3-year run. The 4.6 NorthStar runs extremely well with no dummy lights on the dash it is a good sign that this beauty is in excellent mechanical condition. With all of the electronics, which in this car is everything you can think of, are in good working order. The transmission shifts flawlessly whether its just getting up to highway speed or mashing down for some stoplight fun it never misses a lick. If you have been thinking about trying to guess the market and get in on the ground floor of an up and coming classic this XLR is the ideal candidate. Options on this 2004 Cadillac XLR Hardtop Convertible include; AM/FM Radio with CD player, GPS, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Windows, Anti-Lock Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Keyless Entry, Seat Belts, Driver and Passenger Airbags, Anti-Theft System, Leather Interior, Powered Convertible Hardtop, Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 2004 Cadillac XLR can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call at 812-294-1555 or email Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com for more information. http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/LOU/1851/2004-Cadillac-XLR-Convertible

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is excited to have for sale this beautiful 1952 MG TD. The MG TD is as English as it gets. The style and design of this car is purely timeless. Their older models were so popular to American soldiers during and after the war that MG decided to make a left-hand drive MG for the American people, and boy did they not disappoint. The car is powered by its inline 4 paired to a 4 speed manual transmission. Look inside the cabin and you see the beautiful red vinyl bucket seats that always is a fantastic compliment to a black painted exterior. This car has been well maintained and appreciated by its current owner for the past 40+ years. Originally being a California car it has enjoyed a life away from the cold snow. The car still retains all its original parts and body panels, and whether you ride with the top up or down you are riding in style. The car sits on top of 15-inch rims and has only 81406 miles. It is currently looking for a new owner to enjoy its beauty and elegance. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 2011 Ford Mustang GT Convertible. The pony-car rivalry was a pretty even fight until the late 90’s when Chevy released the now emphasis LS1 engine. The rivalry would die out quickly when Chevy unexpectedly discontinued the Camaro. Ford had pretty much free reign until Chevrolet brought back the completely redesigned Camaro in 2010. With Ford had to step there game up and with the introduction of the new Coyote engine they did just that. Yet still they would go one step above by bringing back that classic 5.0 badge. This convertible example has lived a nice pampered life with a lot of upgrades making it stand out in the crowd. The paint is slick and clean not looking like a 75k mile car by any means. The silver racing stripe with the matching “hockey stick” help to show off the lines on this beauty. The ram air Cervine hood is a nice touch and reduces some weight with it being fiberglass. The spoiler on the rear is a nice touch and with the stripe continuing over it and down the rear it really ties it all together. The simulated brake coolers on the side are like the ones on the late 60’s models. The carbon fiber intake allows for more air coming in giving the Coyote a much better air flow. Exhaust is taken care of from a true dual setup courtesy of Flowmasters allowing to let that extra air out. Tuned for these bolt-ons to work together the power output is much improved over stock. Shifting gears through the 6-speed transmission gives you the feeling of complete control while making the car an absolute blast to drive. If you have been wanting a Mustang that stands out from the rest this 2011 Mustang GT is guaranteed to do just that. Options on this 2011 Ford Mustang GT include AC, AM/FM/CD, Cloth Interior, Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Power Convertible Top, and Aluminum Wheels with Radial Tires. This 2011 Ford Mustang GT is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

This classic 1956 Ford Customline is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 55/56 Customline of vehicles was Ford’s answer to the overwhelming success of the Tri/Five Chevrolet that took the market by storm. With similar body lines many people felt ford should have went a different direction. While sales were decent they were nowhere near what Chevy was pumping out. This example is classic Hotrod styling giving the car a real classic feel. The exterior has been shaved and smoothed with all doors and even the trunk operated by poppers. The green exterior is another classic Hotrod styling que with the 2-tone really separating this beauty from the crowd. The pinstriping is clean and really puts an exclamation point on the Hotrod styling. Under the hood is a 292 with a triple deuce set up giving this beauty a little more pep in its step while giving under the hood a much different look. Mated up to a C4 transmission driving this beauty is as easy as dropping it in gear and mashing the pedal. The interior is classic 50’s again with the white being unbeleivably clean. It really does tie everything together and gives the sense that this was a well thought out build. If you have been wanting to get a Hotrod that is very true to the era this one would make an excellent choice. Optireaons on this 1956 Ford Customline include, AC, AM/FM/CD, Hub Caps, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Wide White Wall Radial Tires. Description:

We have a beautiful 1973 Plymouth Road Runner coated in a stunning Blue hue with black vinyl interior. It boasts a 360CI V8 backed by a three speed auto trans. This is a stunning vehicle that deserves to be taken out on the road or to a local car show. The 1973-74 models received completely new sheet metal and had more conventional squared-up front-end styling and changes to the rear that more closely resembled the four-door models than the 71-72s. In addition, the interior options included retaining power seats and windows as well as offering plusher carpeting and seat covers, moving the car to a slightly higher level of luxury. The restyling helped sales which were up 40% over the 1972 models. In testing 1/4 mile times were getting close to the 16s, top speeds had dropped to barely over 125 mph (201 km/h), and the car moved further away from musclecar status. The base engine for the 1973-74 models had dropped down to Chryslers workaday 318 CID V8 but equipped with dual exhausts which bumped the power up to 170 hp (127 kW). After 1972, no 440 with four-speed manual cars were built. The code E68 400 cu in 260 hp engine was the biggest Plymouth offered with the 4-speed, which could also be had with the 340 (1973), and 360 (1974) engines. The 318 was equipped with a 3-speed manual transmission as standard (though very few were built), and the TorqueFlite as an option, though at least one 318 engine 1974 car was built with the 4-speed manual transmission equipped with a Hurst shifter. The 440 cu in engine, boasting 280 hp was still available for 1973 and 1974, but only mated to the 727 TorqueFlite automatic, with 3.55 sure-grip 8 3/4 rear axle gearing available. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this beautiful 1973 Plymouth Road Runner in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

This 1955 Ford Crown Victoria is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 55 Crown Victoria was a direct shot at Chevy’s new line-up of vehicles. The Crown Victoria would have a very distinct chrome B pillar that ran from one side of the car to the other making it stand out in a crowded marketplace. The body itself was very similar and with a few different engine options they were well received by the public. The color palette that Ford would bring out that year would really put an exclamation point on their new line. This two-tone beauty speaks for itself with its slick black & white paint and endless stainless & chrome trim! The Class and style of the 50s Vicky’s are unsurpassed! This one is powered by a 272 CID Y block V8 and sits in a highly detailed, super clean engine bay. The power produced is sent through the original 2 speed automatic transmission. Everyone loves the look of a classic and admires the style of yester year. With all the features offered for that this one is ready for every cruise-in and car show event in comfort and style. Gateway Classic Cars of Indianapolis is pleased to offer this beautiful 1986 Chevrolet El Camino. This El Camino shows 12,340 miles on the odometer since rebuild, and is presented in a stunning Poly Red with matching hard tonneau complemented by a custom leather interior in burgundy and white. The steering wheel is by Windsor and the audio system is by Clarion. Powered by a 350 cubic inch crate motor driving through a 3 speed automatic, this custom El Camino rolls on 15” Eagle 206 alloy wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich 235/60 HR 15 raised white letter tires. The fabricated exhaust downstream from the headers is complete with H-pipe and Magnaflow mufflers and produces a deep powerful rumble. The 1986 model year was the second to last of the El Camino, with 1987 bringing the fifth and final generation of this revered nameplate to a close. A new, trimmer El Camino, this fifth generation adopted the new, more sharp-edged Malibu styling, and a one-inch longer wheelbase of 117 in (2,972 mm). The front end sheet metal and doors were shared with the Malibu, and the rear tailgate and bumper was shared with the Malibu station wagon. For the first time, though, the El Camino had a unique chassis – it was shared with no other Chevrolet. Among GM makes, at least, the era of bigness was fading into history, overtaken by a new age of efficiency and economy. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this awesome 1971 Pontiac GTO. Many consider the GTO to be the one that started the muscle car craze in when it was released in 1964 based on the mid-size Tempest. The public took notice and the Muscle car war began. By 71 the government had begun to step in and with the new emission standards and insurance rates skyrocketing the short-lived muscle car era was over before it really got started. The GTO would have one trick up their sleeve with the 71 GTO 455 HO option. Claiming to be the fastest GTO ever built they would be supplied in very low numbers making them extremely hard to come by today. This real 242 GTO is a great example and has had a period correct 455 installed under the hood giving this menacing black beast plenty of bite. The ram air hood fits nicely and reminds people you mean business. The 200r4 OD transmission shifts nicely with no hesitation when stomping the pedal and dropping a gear.Get here on the highway and the OD kicks in bringing the RPMs down making for a huge difference in fuel economy not to mention wear and tear. The big corporate 10 bolt Posi- rear end is sure to lay down as much rubber as the local authorities will allow. The Weld wheels are classic and compliment the blacked out menacing look that is sure to grab everyone’s attention. The big wing on the back will get plenty of compliments as you blow past the guy next to you. The interior of the car is clean and as you would expect black keeping with that whole menacing theme. The center console has the shifter mounted right in arms reach making sure no extra effort is needed to drop it in and drive and smash the gas. With a production run of less than 9500 cars in 1971 these REAL DEAL GTO’s are becoming more and more popular with collectors making this 1971 an excellent buy. Options on this 1971 Pontiac GTO include; AM/FM/CD, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 1971 Pontiac GTO is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

This 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 73 Mustang is what many will consider the last year of the original Pony car. With the 67 to 72 cars reaching unheard of prices these 73’s are seeing a huge increase in demand. There longer front ends are beginning to catch on with some people preferring them over the earlier cars. This example has been through only 3 owners in the past 25+ years with each one maintaining the car and even keeping the receipts that have been passed on as well. The paint on the car is probably the first thing that catches your eye with it dark and deep red really pulling you in. The silver accents are a nice touch while the black rear and front chin spoiler are left in their natural flat black finish. The custom Mag wheels are a great addition and give the car a more modern feel. The black convertible top looks good when it is up but looks best tucked away and under the either white or black tonneau cover. Under the hood is the most popular engine to ever be put in a Mustang, the small block 302. This one was rebuilt about 8000 miles ago and still runs out great. The 3 speed manual transmission shifts thru the gears nicely with the clutch having a good feel and actually easier to use than most. The interior has been done in a sleek white vinyl with red accents bringing the outside in. If you have been wanting a fun Pony car that has that great modern look this 73 Mustang is the perfect car. Options on this car include AM/FM/CD, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Top, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. Description:

This awesome 1973 Chevrolet Camaro is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The second generation of GM’s Pony car was released in the spring of 1970 as a 70 Model. They were an instant hit with the public due to their great fastback styling and the endless list of options. They were not highly sought-after cars in the collector car market until recently. Now they have almost a cult like following with the 70-73 models being the most desirable. This example has had quite a bit of work done in order to bring it to its current condition. Receipts show that the build began back in late 2007 with the majority of the work being completed in the next 2 years. We will start with the body of this beauty which appears to have had both front fenders replaced. With the fitment of the doors and hood being well with in 73 standards the car was then painted. The dark blue is very similar to the iconic Admiral blue which shows off the lines of the Camaro nicely. The white racing stripes going over the hood and trunk lid add to the stock look and compliment the Blue nicely. Sealed in with a couple coats of clear the paint not only looks great but has that added layer of protection. The interior of the car has been taken back to its former glory with the black vinyl buckets upfront being classic 70’s Camaro. The B&M Ratchet style shifter is a nice touch, but I prefer just simply dropping it down in D but is nice to have the option. Under the hood is a very healthy small block 350 giving the car plenty of power. Consisting of your typical go-fast parts such as the huge 4-barrel Edelbrock Carb and matching intake this thing is classic muscle at its best. The TH350 transmission shifts out nicely with a mash of the gas second gear comes rather quickly with a firm shift. The 10-bolt rear end handles the power getting pout down to the pavement with out any worries. The 4-wheel disc brakes get this second-generation Camaro slowed down in a hurry. If you have been looking for a split bumper that is fun to drive, gets everyone’s attention, and don’t cost an arm and a leg this Blue beauty is the one. Options on this 1973 Chevrolet Camaro include; AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 1973 Chevrolet Camaro is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Now for sale at our Houston showroom is this beautiful 1969 Chevrolet El Camino SS. This is a numbers matching 396 CID V8 truck with all the power and torque you could ever want! It made 429hp on the dyno. The sound this truck makes is amazing. The color combination looks amazing with blue exterior and interior to match. Cornering and stopping is made easy with power brakes and power steering. The Turbo-400 transmission is a great match for the torque in this truck and shifts smooth between the gears. The front wheel bearing and seals have been replaces, parking brakes were repaired, new tires installed about 1-year ago, all door locks repaired to work correctly, new fan blad, clutch and fan shroud done, new spark plugs, fuel lines and carb kit done too. All of the bed rails have been replaced underneath. 1968 was the first year for the third generation of El Camino, which was based on the Chevelle station wagon and four-door sedan wheelbase. For 1969 only minor changes took place, led by a more rounded front end styling language. A single chrome bar connected quad headlights, and a slotted bumper held the parking lights. New round instrument pods replaced the former linear layout. For the first time, the Chevrolet 350 V8 was used in an El Camino. The Super Sport group included a 265- or 325-horsepower 396-cubic-inch V8 beneath a double-domed hood, along with a black-out grille displaying an SS emblem. Curiously, back-up lights moved from the rear bumper to the tailgate, where they were ineffective when the gate was down. To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

From the beginning, the CJ line of Jeeps were built for the sole purposes of utility and capability. They are go anywhere vehicles and this 1984 Jeep CJ7 has taken that idea and ran with it! Every part of this Jeep has either been maintained or improved on to make it stand up to whatever you can throw at it. Jeep’s simplicity, versatility, and performance led to a following bordering on fanaticism, and has produced many great Restomods such as the one before you here. The parts list reads more like a dream build, and will satisfy even the most intense Jeep enthusiast. The entire body of this CJ has been Line-x coated to make it very durable to take on any offroad adventure but still has a great gloss to it to look sharp on the road. Keeping with the durable but functional theme of this Jeep are the GenRight rock sliders along with tubular doors that are removable. Up front you’ll find a pair of Lightforce driving lights in combination with a pair of Piaa fog lights and an LED light bar that are all perched on top of a custom offroad bumper that looks like it could go through a brick wall if needed. The Dana 30 front and Dana 20 rear axles are more than up to the task of spinning the 35x12.5 Toyo Open Country mud tires that are wrapped around a set of heavy duty 17 inch Hutchinson bead lock wheels. Hiding inside the axle housings both front and rear are air locking differentials. The 5-speed manual transmission is mounted to the tried and true 360 CID V8. This motor features throttle body injection, an aluminum Be Cool radiator with electric fan, shorty headers flowing into new dual exhaust, and HEI ignition. This stout V8 wedged in the lightweight body of a classic Jeep gives a serious advantage in the power-to-weight category, and is more than enough to motivate this SUV down the road, or up a mountain. Keeping you in control no matter what the terrain is a set of Corbeau racing seats outfitted with 5-point harnesses. Just as many high-performance parts are hiding underneath the armor coated body of this jeep as the rest of it. Bilstein high travel shocks with extra reservoirs outfit all four corners. As well as all of the necessary hardware for the onboard powertank air system. And if somehow, you manage to roll this beauty over while abusing your favorite trail, the front roll bar with frame tie-ins at all six points is there to make sure you live to tell the tale. This CJ-7 has been a serious labor of love for someone, and is ready to be your next adventure buddy. You can view this 1984 Jeep CJ7 in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com. http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/DEN/341/1984-Jeep-CJ7

Description:

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is a nostalgic 1968 Buick Skylark Custom convertible. For 1968, GM restyled their A-body platform with a fresh look. Built from the factory dressed to impress, and equipped with plenty of nice touches, this Buick is a fine representation of late 60s luxury with performance. Powering this 68 Buick GS for sale is a freshly-rebuilt 350 CID V8 engine, with only about 200 miles on it. This 350 comes with a mild performance cam, a T/A Performance Products Stage 1 intake manifold, 4BBL Edelbrock carb, long tube headers, and T/A Performance aluminum valve covers. Buicks factory rating for their 350 CID V8 was listed 280 horsepower; so, no doubt this one has upped the ante. To keep the big V8 in the cool zone, a big Champion Cooling Products aluminum radiator (with a built-in trans cooler) has been installed. Fire up the big V8, and it produces a healthy rumble through its Flowmaster-equipped dual exhaust. One can immediately tell that this Buick fits the definition of The Gentlemans Muscle Car. Sticking out at shows, this Buick Skylark Custom convertible for sale is a solid example befitting Buicks catch phrase The Distinctive Personal Car for Americana on the GO. Backing the healthy 350 is a 200R4 4-speed automatic transmission, and a set of Equus gauges and tach help the driver keep tabs on the drivetrain. Add in power steering and power brakes and you have yourself one comfortable ride. The exterior is a driver quality shade of Metallic Blue. Paired with a black convertible top, its easy to see that this car was born during the muscle car era! The 17 chromed aluminum Ridler 5 spoke wheels are wrapped in 245/45-ZR17 Toyo Extensa HP radial at all 4 corners. Make your way into the cockpit, and youll feel like youve been taken back in time. White vinyl adorns the front and rear bench seats, with the rest of the interior done in black, providing a nice contrast.
