Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City is proud to present this beautiful 1961 Studebaker Hawk. Many Studebaker Hawk devotees feel Studebaker saved the best for last with the valedictory 1961 model. The reason: first-time availability of a four-speed floorshift gearbox, supplied by Borg-Warner. Appearance changes were few, and a company press handout described the 1961 Hawk as retaining its classic gran turismo sports car styling. Motor Life magazine thoroughly enjoyed its four-speed test car: At or near sea level, we could lug out in high gear from very low rpm or snap into third for more rapid passing speeds. This Studebaker is a sight to behold with a black and silver metallic paint job with a clear coat that grabs attention. Under the hood you will find a 289 cu V8 that is not original to the car but has been recently rebuilt. Driving this Hawk is an absolute pleasure, the inside is just as awesome as the exterior, black vinyl seats with an eye-popping silver dash makes just going for a ride an experience to remember. Other options on this 1961 Studebaker Hawk include Air Conditioning, AM radio, chrome hub caps, new 205/75 R15 WSW tires with turner front disc brakes. Come see this beauty for yourself now at our Kansas City location! You wont regret it! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this ultra-rare 1964 Buick Riviera in our Scottsdale, AZ showroom. This classic GM personal luxury car is ready to take its new owner wherever he/she wants to go. Under the hood is where this Buick Riviera excites a car enthusiast. Its the standard 425 cubic inch engine, except this yellow brute has two four-barrel carburetors and other assorted high-performance goodies right from the boys at Flint, MI. The Riv was truly the car that defined the growing personal luxury segment of the market. The current owner bought the car in 2014 right after the previous owner had the transmission and driveline rebuilt. The current owner then had the engine rebuilt at a reputable shop here in the Phoenix area. The drivetrain has now been refurbished and should be reliable for the new owner for many thousands of miles. The rest of the car was deemed to be in excellent condition. The interior upholstery is believed to be original. The cars exterior color was originally yellow, although not this shade. All the chrome is in good condition and the car presents itself well from all angles. Its got the hard-to-find components from the 465 HP package intact and the rest of the car is in excellent condition. Don’t miss a chance to own a legendary performance car from Buick. Not many of these were built over half-a-century ago, so how many are left? Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1969 Chevrolet El Camino. This El Camino is a mean one! Power comes from a built 454, is mated to a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission and back to a Ford 9 rear-end housing 3.55:1 Posi-Traction gears. Chevy Big Blocks are known for their ability to breath. Flowmaster 4400 Series mufflers and tuned Hedman full length headers let this Big Block do just that. When it fires up, get ready for some attention. Theres nothing like the sound of a well-built Big Block. Putting this kind of power to the ground is no easy task for an El Camino. To help with that, adjustable coil over shocks transfer weight to the rear tires to aid in traction. Oversized front and rear sway bars keep the El Camino flat when taking a corner. Up front is a pair of dropped spindles giving the El Camino an aggressive stance. This El Camino is painted in a flashy Camaro Synergy Green with Black SS stripes and staggered chrome Crager wheels with radial rubber. The front tires measure 215/65R15 and 275/60R15s out back. Power four wheel disc brakes make slowing down a breeze. The frame off restoration included stripping the frame down to bare metal and painting it with POR 15 chassis rust prevention paint. All the bushings were replaced with neoprene for a longer life than the original rubber and for better performance. The beautiful Synergy Green paint also makes its way into the engine bay in place of the original satin black paint plus a smoothed firewall for a nice and clean appearance. Inside the theme continues with green accents throughout the black leather. SS gauges keep you well informed and have a great vintage look to them. Equipment includes Power steering, Power brakes, Air Conditioning, Tilt steering column and an AM/FM radio with MP3. For more information on this 1969 Chevrolet El Camino, call 618-271-3000 or stop by our St. Louis showroom. To view 100+ HD photos and video, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com

Description:

For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a custom 1973 Chevrolet Corvette. The wow factor on this early C3 Corvette has got to be functional rear glass hatchback. On a traditional Corvette, the rear glass hatchback debuted in 1978, and was not functional (lifting) until 1982. It sure is neat seeing the long rear glass and rear chrome bumper paired together. The C3 Corvette debuted with front and rear chrome bumpers. In 1973 the front bumper was polyurethane while the rear bumper remained chrome. The chrome bumper was no more in 1974, as both front and rear bumpers were polyurethane. The custom, two tone, blue over silver paint is show quality and was applied about 3 years ago. It still shines like new, and will not disappoint. The black interior appears to be original, but has aged very well, as it shows little to no signs of wear and tear. The T-handle shifter quickly gives away that this is a 4 speed manual transmission, and fun times are sure to come in this 73’ Corvette. A 350 CID L82 V8 engine powers this C3 Corvette, which is believed to be original to the car, along with 4 speed manual transmission. The odometer reads 60,653, which is believed to be actual mileage to the car. Options for this 1973 Chevrolet Corvette include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with Cassette Player, Tilt/Telescopic Wheel, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Windows, T-Tops, Raised White Letter Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. This 73’ Corvette will have the diehards scratching their heads in amazement, and the novice Corvette enthusiasts staring in awe. Either way, everyone will love it. It is a great take on an American classic. To view this 1973 Chevrolet Corvette in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com our or St. Louis showroom. Description:

This 1988 Ford Bronco II is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Bronco II was introduced in 1984 in response to the gas shortage and the cry for a smaller SUV. The public responded well to the little Bronco until the Explorer was released in 1990. With its short production life these little SUV’s are far and few in between today making this example a rare find. Going through a frame off restoration this example is one of the nicest in the market today. The Deep Forest Green paint looks almost blue in some light and black in others. The correct 2.9-liter V6 was rebuilt giving the 88 a new lease on life. With the transmission and transfer case rebuilt as well, this compact SUV is ready for the road. The manual 4-wheel drive with locking hubs give you confidence when taking it off the pavement. The 31.5 Grabber Tires on the 15” aluminum wheels are designed to work great on any surface. The 3” body lift combined with a 2” Skyjacker suspension lift give you plenty of clearance while giving the Baby Bronco a great look. Open the doors and you are welcomed to a fresh interior that looks like it came right out of 1988. The front buckets have been fitted with adjustable lumbar allowing for a custom fit. The new headliner looks as it should with the brand-new steering wheel completing this extremely clean interior. If you have been looking for a turn key frame off restored Bronco II that has been completely gone through your search is over. Options on this 1988 Ford Bronco II include; AC, AM/FM/CD, Cloth Interior, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Tilt Wheel, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. Weather you are looking for a cruiser, a car to that is a good base for a high dollar restoration or a touch of the past this is the perfect automobile for you! Things really changed with the 1956 model year for the Oldsmobile 88. The first-generation Pontiac GTO models were produced in 1964-1974 and considered to have confirmed the muscle car trend with all four domestic manufacturers involved. In the 1964-65 model years, the GTO was an optional package for the Pontiac Tempest model or “Grand Tempest Option”. The GTO became its own model from 1966-1971. The GTO was selected Motor Trends “Car of the Year” in 1968. The GTO model was later revived from 2004-2006 as a rebadged Holden Monaro manufacturer by GM Monaro subsidiary in Australia. The GTO was equipped with 5.7L LS1 V8, the same engine found in the 2004 Chevrolet Corvette. Power was increased in the 2005-2006 models to 400hp and 400ftlbs of torque courtesy of the LS2 364.1cid powerplant. This Phantom Black Metallic 2006 GTO represents the last and best of these unique vehicles. The owner reports 31,400 actual miles and the gorgeous black leather interior shows quite well. If you’ve been looking for a C3 Chevrolet Corvette, look no further! This beautiful 1972 Stingray is available at our Milwaukee showroom…for now…but it won’t be for long! Equipped with its ori ginal 350 small block engine coupled to a Muncie M20 4-speed transmission, newer N11option exhaust, updated radiator and stainless stell brakes this C3 is built for speed. You’ll turn heads with the beautiful white exterior and chrome bumpers (1972 was the last year for chrome bumpers at both front and rear, the vacuum actuated pop-up windshield wiper door, as well as the removable rear window common to all 1968-72 coupes). The C3 is the third generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, and marks the second time the Corvette would carry the Stingray name, though only for the 1969 - 1976 model years. This time it was a single word as opposed to Sting Ray as used for the 1963 - 1967 C2 generation. The name would then be retired until 2014 when it was re-introduced with the release of the C7. Hurry to the Milwaukee showroom to see this 1972 Corvette Stingray before it’s gone! Description:

This SSR is only 1 of 2,288 made with the 400 horsepower 6.0 LS2 engine and, for added fun; it is also equipped with a 6-Speed manual! This stunning 2005 SSR has been maintained throughout its entire life by only two owners and drives like the way it did when it came off the showroom floor. The SSR was introduced to the public back in 2003 and was based off the late 40’s Chevrolet pickups with a few hot rod touches making this a completely new concept that grasped the attention of classic car enthusiast and gave hope that there would be more to come not just from Chevrolet, but all other companies. Unfortunately the idea didn’t last long and the SSR was discontinued after a short three years. This truck has been mostly untouched since new and only subtle touches added. The striking ghost flames on the front really add a hot rodders touch. The interior is spacious and comfortable even with the very cool retractable hard top up and features a premium Bose sound system that is powerful enough to provide excellent sound quality even with the top down. The LS2 and 6-speed manual is the topping on the cake with ample amounts of power and giving you the feel that you are driving a sports car rather than a pickup. If you are looking for something that is a head turning unique vehicle and don’t want to sacrifice reliability this is a great car for you. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. Description:

In 1979, a 1947 Thriftmaster 3600 pickup truck went up for sale for the first time since it was purchased new just over 30 years prior. When the truck was sold, it was transported to its new home in Eugene, Oregon where it started a restoration over the next several years. In 1981, the original 216 cubic inch was swapped out for a 235 cubic inch Inline-6 for added power and reliability. After a few years the engine was rebuilt in 1987 and the odometer was rolled back to zero to keep track of how many miles were put on the rebuilt engine. Since then only 4,500 miles have been logged on this truck! The truck was then moved down to Colorado where it resides up to present day and is still owned by the second owner. Repainted in 2016 by a shop in the Denver area, this truck looks great and still is a blast to drive after all these years. This classic Chevrolet pickup would be a great fit for someone looking for parade vehicle, promotional piece for there business, or even just weekend cruising! What ever your plans may be this truck is up for the challenge. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston has a fantastic opportunity for you to own this beautiful ONE OWNER Porsche. The car was owned by a B-17 flying fortress pilot who purchased the car brand new and owned it until his passing. His son found it in his barn and sold it to the current owner, who only titled it in his name to be able to sell it with us. The miles are fully documented and everything that has ever been done has been noted. It is a survivor car and not 100% perfect but it would be very difficult to find a more original and well optioned car from this era that hasnt had a full restoration. The air conditioning system was a dealer installed option. This is a 1976 year model of the 914! 1976 marked the last year for this awesome little sports car. The Porsche 914 or VW-Porsche 914 was a mid-engined, targa-topped two-seater roadster designed sports car manufactured and marketed collaboratively by Volkswagen and Porsche from 1969 to 1976. Amazingly, this one has maintained the same owner since it was purchased brand new all those years ago! A testament to the greatness of this car. It has gone almost 40 years without ever being damaged or repainted and it still has the original engine and transmission. Power goes to the rear wheels via the mid mounted 2.0l engine, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission which gives the near 2100lb vehicle plenty of power to excited. The low curb weight and mid-engine layout is the perfect layout for a nimble and playful sports car. This Porsche features air conditioning to help keep the cabin cool on those hot summer days. You will be able to play your favorite radio station on the AM/FM radio with cassette player. The targa top is something that is becoming more rare with newer cars but this car comes with a fully functioning example of this. Safety is paramount in any vehicle and you will be pleased to find seat belts inside. Whether you purchased and owned a 914 back when you could find them brand new in the dealerships or if you are a first time 914 owner, you will love this one. The white paint job and vinyl interior go beautifully together and it will certainly turn heads. This could be perfect for weekend car shows or just a good drive in the country. Porsche is a staple when it comes to real driver’s cars and this is no exception. It is a machine that you can truly feel connected to when you’re behind the wheel. This excellent example of a classic German automobile won’t last long. We have financing and shipping options available to make the purchasing process easier even if you are not in the Houston area. Don’t miss this one. Call the Houston showroom at (832) 243-6220 for more information on this vehicle. If you are viewing this on a 3rd party website then you will be able to find more pictures and an HD video by visiting www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Our showroom is open to the public and you can visit us 9-5 Mon-Sat at 71 Esplanade Blvd Suite 100, Houston, TX 77060.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to present this beautiful 1963 Cadillac Series 62. This one is powered by the 390 CID V8 engine. In overall terms, 1963 Cadillac was essentially the same as last year. Exterior changes imparted a bolder and longer look. Hoods and deck lids were redesigned. The front fenders projected 4.625 further forward than for 1962 while the tailfins were trimmed down somewhat to provide a lower profile. Body side sculpturing was eliminated. The slightly V-shaped radiator grille was taller and now incorporated outer extensions that swept below the flush-fender dual headlamps. Smaller circular front parking lamps were mounted in those extensions. A total of 143 options including bucket seats with wool, leather or nylon upholstery fabrics and wood veneer facings on dash, doors and seatbacks, set an all-time record for interior appointment choices. Standard equipment was the same as the previous year. Convertibles were equipped with additional features. The engine was entirely changed, though the displacement and output remained the same, 390 cu in (6.4 l) and 325 hp (242 kW). This car features AC, AM/FM radio, auto top, spare tire, hub caps, power brakes and steering, jack, power seats and windows, seat belts, vinyl interior and white walls. In October of 2010 the drums were converted to discs, engine rebuilt, new muffler and new radiator. April 2012 it was reupholstered. June 2012 it got new top latches. July 2013 it got a new fuel tank and a new and more modern radio (original still available). In Feb of 2017 a new carb was installed and in March of 2017 a new convertible top window was added.
