Description:

This 1978 was the 25th Anniversary of Corvette. It has 53k miles and was used as a display car for the opening of the Corvette museum. It has also been to Indy for events .

It has the optional CB Radio and the Cloth inserts. maintained by a true enthusiast. Glove Box signed by Dave McLellan who was only the 2nd Chief engineer of the Corvette 1975-92 after Duntov.

The 1978 Corvette was the pace car for the Indy 500. Chevrolet created a limited edition pace car replica, this option added over $13,000 to the price of the car (more than the base price!).

This car has distinctive Black/Silver two-tone paint with a red pin-stripe. Production of the pace car replica was limited to one for every Chevrolet dealership. This amounted to 6,502 pace cars built in 1978.

To celebrate a completely re-designed body was rolled out with new "fastback" styling. The new wrap-around rear window provided much more space behind the seats but was not a hatchback. Access to the storage space is still accessed from behind the seats.

Description:

This cool 2000 Porsche Carrera is for sale at our Louisville KY showroom. Porsche has always been known for its awesome and one off rear wheel rear engine configuration. The 2000 Porsche Carrera line up was available in a number of configurations. Probably one of the most sought after has to be the convertible. The soft top how ever was not too appealing to look at when up. Porsche solved that problem like many manufacturers in the past by adding a removable hardtop as an option. This black beauty has just that with the removal being extremely simple. One latch and a quarter twist of 2 Allen head screws and the top can lifted right off. The portable sand makes it easy to roll out of the way for convenient storage. The black paint on the car is in great condition for a car that is 18 years old showing very minimal signs of wear. Under the trunk is that amazing 3.4 liter horizontally opposed 6-cylinder engine that produces an amazing 300HP. With the dash showing no service lights and great oil pressure we have a great impression of this car. Hop into the driver’s seat and the impression goes from great to unbelievable. The 6-speed manual transmission feels tight going through the gears like a European car should. With the engine producing a ton of torque the car pulls hard as it was intended to do. While shifting through those gears you are wrapped in a great feeling leather bucket seat that has all the side bolster you will need to keep you firmly in place. If you had to explain this 2000 Porsche Carrera in one word it would have to be exciting! Options on this 2000 Porsche Carrera include A/C, Aluminum Alloy Wheels, ABS, Anti-Theft System, AM/FM stereo with CD Player, Cruise Control, Driver/Passenger Airbags, Removable Hardtop, Power Convertible top Lumbar Support, Leather Interior, Power Door Locks, Power Seats, Power Steering, Power Windows, Remote Keyless Entry, Radial Tires, Traction Control, ad Tilt/Telescoping Steering Wheel. To view this car in full detail with HD pictures and video on this 2000 Porsche 911 Carrera call our Louisville showroom at (812)-294-1555, or email us at Louisville@Gatewayclassiccars.com http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/LOU/1835/2000-Porsche-911-Carrera-2-4-Convertible

For sale in our Las Vegas showroom is this flashy 1969 Cadillac Eldorado! With its big V8 engine and comfortable interior it’s a perfect combination of performance and style as only Cadillac could deliver. This black-on-black boulevard cruiser will definitely draw attention! Step back into the era of big American coupes – inside this car it’s as if it’s still 1969. The V8 is powered to the front wheels by a smooth and sturdy 3-speed automatic transmission, and the power brakes bring this land yacht to a stop. Paint and interior are in fine condition. This Eldorado comes with air conditioning, seat belts, hub caps, vinyl top, whitewall radial tires, AM/FM radio, cruise control, power windows, power locks and power steering. This example falls in the middle of the Eldorado’s lifespan, being offered from 1953 to 2002. This 1969 Cadillac Eldorado is for sale in our Las Vegas Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Now for sale at our Gateway Classic Cars Showroom in Saint Louis is this amazing 1973 Mercury Cougar convertible that is sporting a 3-speed automatic and has had a lot of restoration work done to it recently. BACKGROUND: Mercury Cougar is a nameplate applied to a diverse series of automobiles sold by Mercury from 1967 to 1997, and again from 1999 to 2002. The Second Generation Cougar (1971–1973) was restyled, weighed less, and had only a one-inch-longer wheelbase than its predecessors which was similar to GMs intermediate-sized two-door models, such as the Olds Cutlass). The front end now featured four exposed headlights; the disappearing headlights were eliminated. The center grille piece was now larger, sharing its appearance with the 1971 Mercury Cyclone. (Source Wikipedia). In regard to recent history, the current owner purchased this 1973 Mercury Cougar in Saint Louis in 2016 and since that time has done the follow work: body was stripped to bare metal and repainted, new carburetor & intake, new brake booster, new master cylinder, new proportioning valve, new front brake hoses, new front calipers & brakes, new exhaust, new wheels & tires, new carpet, seats reupholstered, new outside door handles, new inner & outer belt mouldings, new door & trunk seats, new sill plates, new alternator, new voltage regulator, new water pump, new fuel pump, and new aluminum radiator. As you see in the video, this classic Mercury Cougar starts and runs like a dream. If you are in the market for this type of convertible, you should definitely take a look at this one! In short, you have every reason to inquire further about this 1973 Mercury Cougar by viewing it in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video of the car running and driving at our website - http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1967 Pontiac Catalina 2+2. For 1967, Catalinas and other full-sized Pontiacs received a heavy facelifting of the 65 bodyshell with more rounded wasp-waisted body contours and fuller fastback rooflines, along with concealed windshield wipers - an industry first. Replacing the 389 and 421 V8s of previous years were new 400 and 428 cubic-inch V8s with bigger valves and a valve angle change built off the same Pontiac V8 design in use since 1955. The valve angle change was so bigger valves and larger ports could be used. The standard Catalina engine was a two-barrel unit rated at 265 horsepower with three-speed manual transmission or 290 horsepower with Turbo Hydramatic. The 265 horsepower engine was available as a no-cost option with the Turbo Hydramatic and differed from the standard 290 horsepower unit by using regular gas as opposed to premium fuel. Optional engines included a four-barrel 400 rated at 325 horsepower, a four-barrel 428 rated at 360 horsepower or the four-barrel 428 HO rated at 376 horsepower. Front disc brakes and a stereo eight-track tape player were new additions to the option list. The 2+2 was offered for the last time in 1967 in both hardtop coupe and convertible. The 360-horsepower 428 was standard and the 428 HO was optional. This model was dropped due to low sales since its 1964 introduction as performance car buyers overwhelmingly preferred smaller and lighter intermediates such as Pontiacs own GTO and the new Firebird ponycar, which was introduced for 1967. A 1967 Pontiac Catalina convertible was featured in the Red Hot Chili Peppers music video for Scar Tissue. Safety came to the fore in 1967, and the Catalina featured all the new US Government-mandated safety equipment including an energy-absorbing steering column, safety steering wheel, dual-circuit hydraulic brake system, and soft interior parts. Options include: am/fm Radio, radial tires, heat, hub caps, power steering, vinyl interior, seat belts. To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For more information please call the Atlanta showroom at 678-894-4833.

Description:

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a sweet little 1961 Nash Metropolitan Convertible . With the cease of Nash sales in early 1962, this 61 Nash Metropolitan for sale is one rare economy car. This Nash Metropolitan for sale, is one of the very first economy cars and was only offered for sale in the U.S. and Canada from 1954-1962. Early in Nash history they shared a partnership with Hudson as well as Rambler, in the later years. Powering this little Metro is a 1.5 liter inline 4-cylinder engine. At only 1,785 lbs, the inline is more than enough to put some pep in this Nashs step. Backed by a manual 3-speed transmission, this Nash was recorded to consistently knock down 30-40 MPGs. With the 3-on-the-tree shifter, this car isnt only economical to drive, but is a blast too! The exterior is a vintage paint scheme of yellow and white. The light color scheme is full of nostalgia and takes you back in time to the 60s. With tiny steel wheels with hub caps and whitewall radial tires, this car is both cute and classy. Looking at the inside, youll be impressed with the room available. This Nash sports a Black and white cloth bench style front bench, which in itself suits the car well. This Nash convertible would make a great piece for anyone interested in vintage British collector cars or just wants an attention-grabbing piece of history. With a full-sized car feel, in a compact package, this car was green and economical before it was cool! This cute 1961 Nash for sale was sold with one thought in mind, to sell an economical and well-built car. The Metropolitan took the minimalist approach, which can be seen, only optioned with AM radio and vinyl/cloth interior. Look at the mono-speedometer/ gauge cluster, steel wheels with hub caps and wide whitewall tires! Small, lightweight, and easy to drive, its no wonder that the sales of this car were second in imports, to only Volkswagen. Not only is it easy to drive, but its a blast to drive. Look at this car and picture yourself going to the grocery store on Thursday, the cruise-in car show on Friday, and hitting the beach on Saturday! That dream is just one phone call away! A $237.37 document fee will be added to the sales price. All purchases may be subject to any applicable tax, title, & licensing fees. for more information please call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or e-mail us at Nashville@GatewayClassicCars.com

Description:

For sale in our Chicago showroom is a fantastic example of a near stock 1980 Z28 Camaro in excellent condition inside and out. Equipped with the 350 5.7L V8 engine matched to a 4 speed Manual transmission, makes for a rare and hard to find model Z28 Camaro. This is a low mileage car with only 64K on the speedo. A few neat things about the 1980 Camaro. The Z28 hood included a rear-pointing raised scoop (air induction) with a solenoid operated flap which opens at full throttle, allowing the engine to breath better resulting in better engine perfomance. Also a federally mandated 85 mph speedometer also debuted this year, pretty funny considering the vehicles actual performance ability. It was equipped with a unique upper and lower front grill and smaller revised graphics on its doors. The side scoops were also changed from a louvered design to a flatter one with a single opening. The 350 cu in (5.7 L) V8 was only available on the Z28 this year. This aggressive but vintage interior is still in great condition. Have a seat behind the wheel turn on the cold A/C, and strap yourself into the Rallye inspired high back split bucket seating. The 4 speed manual transmission makes this an extremely fun car to drive, and allows for some serious interaction between car and driver. It will definetly make you appreciate the stick shift as you run through the gears and hear the great sound of the exhasut and the smell of burning rubber! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer a super clean 1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. Referred to by GM as The King of the Hill, these ZR1s were amazing machines in 1990 and still are even by todays standards. The beating heat of the ZR1 is a 375 horsepower LT-5 V8. This dual overhead cam, four valve per cylinder V8 was developed with help from Lotus and assembled by Mercury Marine. Until this time, all Corvettes were pushrod V8s, and even after the ZR1, all modern Vettes are pushrod engines. Backing this beautiful power plant is a 6 speed manual transmission. With this combination, the car is good for a top speed of 180 MPH and a 0-60 time just above 4 seconds. This particular example, with only 42,650 miles on the odometer, is just getting broken in. The black on black color scheme is timeless, and many would confuse this 1990 as a much newer car than it is. If youre a Corvette enthusiast, the ZR1 is a must have for your collection. Even if youre just a performance enthusiast, there is no denying the amazing specs of this 1990s classic. You can see this 1990 Chevrolet Corvette in greater detail in our Dallas showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 817-310-9400 or dallas@gatewayclassiccars.com with inquiries.

Description:

It is powered by a 1942 85hp 221 CID Ford V8 mated to a 2-speed transmission with reverse. The vehicle shows 2725 miles on the odometer, but it is unknown if this is actual or not. Chevrolet regained the sales lead at the end of 1936, but the Ford still sold extremely well. A new club cabriolet model was introduced with a fully framed windshield and weatherproof top, and the convertible sedan gained the popular integrated trunk back design. The look was updated with an inverted pentagonal grille with all-vertical bars beneath a prominent hood and three horizontal chrome side strips (on Deluxe models). A concealed horn, long a prominent part of the Fords design, also brought the car into modern times. The new trucks continued with the old grille. Other major changes for 1936 were the use of pressed steel artillery solid wheels instead of wire wheels. This car has been modernized and features conveniences like air conditioning, heating, AM/FM radio, spare tire, jack, functioning brake lights, working horn and a kill switch to preserve battery for times when the car may be sitting. The current owner has had it for about 3 years and has take very good care of it. It’s a road ready classic that would make a great starter classic or an awesome addition to anyone’s car collection.
