Description:

In 1969, Lincoln was in full swing with their production of the Continental MKIII. The vehicle sold very well and was a solid competitor against the Cadillac Coupe Deville. With over 23,000 made in 1969, this beautiful MKIII has survived the test of time and is one gorgeous ride. This vehicle was handed down and has been meticulously cared for over the years. In 1993 it was entered in the Lincoln and Continental Owners Club National Meet and was scored a 48.5 out of a possible 50 points. To this day, this MKIII still has what it takes to be one of top competitors. The paint is in fantastic shape, and still shows the clean lines and sharp edges. The interior is as equally beautiful. The seats are still plush and comfortable, with no cracks or tears. The headliner and dash both look like they just came out of the factory. The vinyl roof is free of sun damage, cracks and tears as well. Mechanically this 1969 Lincoln MKIII is just as beautiful as the rest of the car. It has been regularly maintained and driven throughout its ownership. This 1969 Lincoln MKIII is a true gem and would be proud to be sitting in your driveway or garage. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this super awesome sleeper 1969 GMC 1500. Between the clean look and the aggressive powertrain, this is a fun truck. Under the hood of this classic square body is a Weiand supercharged 350 CID V8 engine putting out quite a bit of power. Topping the Weiand blower off is a four-barrel carburetor fitted with an Edelbrock air cleaner. The engine also features Edelbrock valve covers that accent the air cleaner nicely. Sending that boosted power to the rear end is a turbo 350 three-speed automatic transmission that shifts crisply through the gears. Providing cranking power to that big V8 is an Optima Redtop battery for added reliability and power over a traditional lead-acid battery. Sending the exhaust gasses to the rear of the vehicle are stainless steel headers. When it comes time to stop this big truck, the driver will appreciate the power brakes. Moving outward, the truck maintains the sleeper look with original styling. The body is finished in an olive-green paint that is in decent condition. The chrome bumpers and appropriate trim are in good condition also. Supporting each corner of this large truck are steel wheels with polished accents. The bed is covered by a white vinyl cover that is in good condition. Wrapped around those wheels are Firehawk tires with white lettering and good tread life left in them. Upon entering the vehicle, the driver will notice the two-tone green finish. The bench seat is finished in dark green vinyl and is in good condition. Providing comfortable and easy maneuverability is power steering. Overall the truck maintains a very minimalistic feel with some basic amenities and an awesome powertrain. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this excellent 1962 Chevrolet C10. The first-generation Chevrolet fleetside short bed is one of the most sought-after body styles that GM ever produced. Launched in the fall of 1959, the 1960 model year introduced a new body style of light pick-up truck that featured many firsts. Most important of these were a drop-center ladder frame, allowing the cab to sit lower, and independent front suspension, giving an almost car-like ride in a truck. Also new for 1960 was a new designation system for trucks made by GM. Gone were the 3100, 3200, and 3600 designations for short 1/2, long 1/2 and 3/4-ton models. Instead, a new scheme assigned a 10, 20, or 30 for 1/2, 3/4, and 1-ton models. Since 1957, trucks were available from the factory as four-wheel drive, and the new class scheme would make this known. This truck is powered by an inline 6-cylinder engine and a 4 speed manual transmission. When walking around this truck you will notice the turquoise and white paint theme. The bumpers, grille, cab, and dash are all white to offset the light green paint on the body and wheels. The wooden bed floor really sets off the style of this truck. The gas tank has been taken out of the cab and installed in the bed under the toolbox. The battery has also been moved to the bed and has been covered. Rally wheels and white letter tires have been added to make the trucks curb appeal stand out from others. There is also a tow hitch and duel exhaust coming out of the rear of this truck. When you get into the cab of this truck you will notice the blue bucket seats and white shifter on the floor. The gauges have also been upgraded along with a GT steering wheels added. This truck is perfect for a daily cruiser or even to take to be shown at car shows. Do not let this awesome 1962 Chevrolet short bed pass you by. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this 1991 Volkswagen Vanagon. These vans were marketed under various nameplates such as Transporter, Microbus, Caravelle, and Vanagon (as it is known in the U.S.). This one is powered by a 2.1L water-cooled I-4 engine. There were 5 different hp ratings for the 2.1L ranging from 95 bhp all the way up to a whopping 112bhp. This Volkswagen Vanagon also features a 3-speed automatic transmission. It has recently been treated to new Bilstein shocks at all 4 corners; and, as a tasteful upgrade over the standard steel wheels, a set of Mercedes-Benz E-class style aluminum wheels with new Sumitomo radial tires were added. This Vanagon runs and drives well, and the A/C blows cold enough to help make this a great ride-share vehicle for up to 7 people. The cloth seats are plenty comfortable, and have good life left in them, with the cloth showing few signs of wear after 27 years! Even with a full load of people, there is still plenty of cargo space left out back to put everyones luggage for a nice weekend trip to the beach. Or, you can haul most of the soccer team to games, and if the game gets muddy, you can easily hose out the floors afterward, thanks to the rubber floor covering throughout. The Blaupunkt Toronto 440 AM/FM/CD/BT Radio will play the tunes everyone wants to hear through the JL Audio C4, whether youre going to the game or to the beach. This Vanagon has a new custom hitch, new FormulaOne/LLumar window tint, new front and rear bumpers, new grille and grille emblem, DynaMat sound dampner, new water pump, new radiator, new breather tower, new idle control valve, new front bushing kit, bigger brakes (GoWesty), new hub kit, all hoses and belts have been replaced, and antifreeze has been converted. Description:

Our Detroit branch of Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer you this sweet 1986 Chevrolet El Camino! The 1986 Chevrolet El Camino coupe utility vehicle was part of the 1978 to 1987 fifth generation series of El Caminos. The Chevy Chevelle had served as a template for the El Camino since 1964, but the Chevelle ceased production in 1977 and the El Camino retained the Malibu chassis and most of the Malibus mechanical components. In 1986, this El Camino was equipped with the stock 5.0L motor; fast forward to today, an updated 5.7L LS1 is now loaded into this El Camino. Backing that updated power plant is a beefy 4L60e transmission. The rear end consists of a GM 10-bolt and is sporting a nice 3:73 gear to ensure you can reach highway speeds with no issue. The bed of this El Camino has been covered with a hardened bedliner and lined with an easily removable carpet. The gray interior still shows very nicely for its age, being original to the car. With an updated powertrain, you can take this El Camino just about anywhere with no issue! Other options on this El Camino include A/C, CD player, power brakes, power steering, power locks, tilt wheel, posi-traction, anti-theft system, radial tires, keyless entry, and more! Drivetrain: 4 Wheel Drive

Description:

I believe that this 1979 International Harvester Scout II is one of the finest in the country. I purchased it in early 2013 after seeing it as the ‘Find of the Day’ on the Hemmings Motor News blog, where it was advertised as being in nearly mint condition and I proceeded to sympathetically restore it from there. The truck looks as it looked in the 1970’s and was restored as needed to maintain as much originality as possible, while ensuring every component functioned properly.
It was optioned with a 345 cubic Inch V8, heavy duty 4 speed manual transmission, power steering, power brakes, tilt wheel, AM radio, optional rear bench seat, deluxe exterior trim pack in Russet plaid, heavy-duty rear step bumper, FA-13 front drive axle with locking hub, 3:54 axles, cigar lighter, chrome wheel covers, rear seat dome light, 19-gallon fuel tank, tinted glass, and L78x15 tires.
Recent restoration included quality repaint (Omaha Orange) where necessary, the rest is original paint, new Rallye stripes, restoration of the hardtop included removing it off the vehicle, windows, headliner and felts were removed, stripped, primed, Hushmat added for sound deadening, repainting and reassembled at a cost of over $5K. New roll bar, CB radio, window regulators, new fuel tank, sending unit, lines and gauge restoration. The brakes were completely rebuilt using nickel-copper lines, new cylinders, rotors, calipers, hoses, pads and shoes. The front axle was completely disassembled, cleaned, greased, repacked and reassembled, new exhaust manifold gaskets, power steering rebuild with new lines, a complete tune-up, rebuilt 4bbl carburetor that was added by previous owner. The undercarriage was resprayed, new front bumper was installed to replace the dinged original; I had the rear bumper removed, straightened, primed and repainted to match the front.
The truck is stock height and never lifted or modified, and it still runs a single exhaust; a testament of adult ownership throughout its life. New tires and NOS chrome hubcaps complete the appearance. The interior is largely original and in excellent condition. I replaced the original metal glued-on dash decal with a wood grain version as it suited the truck well. There are no rips or tears, the carpet is newer from the previous owner, the door panels are excellent; it looks as it did in 1979. I have a stack or receipts for endless small items in addition to the $15K in receipts from the restoration house, as well as many photos of work done along the way.
Everything works, the lights and gauges, dash lights, the interior cabin lights, horn, heat, fan and AM radio. This is a strong running, well sorted vehicle. The truck's paint is excellent, there are several minor paint scratches (no dings) upon visual inspection from a windstorm in December, 2015. I chose to simply apply several layers of wax to the area instead of touch-up.
I have some extra parts, including a grill, tune-up parts, hubcaps, spare tire, etc.
The truck is registered and inspected here in Long Island, New York and only occasionally driven in nice weather. I have driven the truck only 2,000 miles since purchasing it. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or specific photos you may wish to see. Thank you.
