Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this beautiful 1968 Oldsmobile 442 for sale in our St. Louis showroom. The 4-4-2 name derives from the original set up of the first car that debuted in 1964. The set up was just that a 4 barrel carb, 4 speed transmission and dual exhaust. Pretty much everything desired on your first generation muscle cars. Some people, even to this day, think that 442 is the cubic inch displacement of the motor but in all reality Oldsmobile never made a 442 CID motor. They did however make a 400 cubic inch big block and in 1965 it was the motor of choice for the Cutlass 442 cars. Now, being that you could get an automatic, the 4-4-2 stood for 400 CID, 4 barrel, dual exhaust. Sales would steadily rise through the first generations 4 year span topping out at a tad over 25000 units. The 1968 model year would see the 4-4-2 become its own model and not just an option any longer. This 68 is a great example of these timeless machines. With a fresh repaint this burgundy beauty looks to be in great condition. This 442 has a gorgeous fresh repaint along with fresh rockers, and a hood. Pop the hood and the 400 cubic inch motor looks right at home, especially with the Chrome air cleaner. Mated up to a 4 speed transmission this is one of the easiest driving big block muscle cars to drive. With the huge amount of torque being produced, these 442s were known for laying down some of the nastiest blackest burnouts that you have ever seen. Options on this 1968 Oldsmobile 442 include; AM/FM radio, black vinyl interior, raised white letter tires, and rally wheels. This 1968 Oldsmobile 442 is for sale in our St. Louis Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1989 Jaguar XJS for sale. Have you ever seen a v12 Jaguar XJS with a manual transmission? Well, you have now. This v12 sport luxury vehicle has been modified to put a smile on your face and give the driver a better experience when behind the wheel. Instead of the automatic transmission that these cars came with, this one has been fitted with tremec 5 speed manual. Your ears will be in heaven when you hear the exhaust note that leaves this car. Description:

This 1927 Chevrolet Capitol Cabriolet is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. 1927 was a pivotal year for the auto industry. Henry would bring out his Model A which was an evolution of the Model T. The Chevrolet capitol would be the first real competition for Ford making this a do or die move. Priced right inline with the Model A the Capitol would steal a pretty good piece of the market from ole Henry. This example has been restored to what you would expect to see back in the 20s. The green paint looks good with the black accenting it perfectly. The rims are correct and with the tires being tall and skinny which was due to the roads not being paved. There is even a spare tire on the back just in case you dont have AAA. Under the hood is the 4 cylinder that really brought Chevrolet into the main stream. The 171 CID inline 4 produced a little less than 30 HP. The 3 speed Manual Transmission shifts like it should making these cars a little challenging but extremely fun to drive. The top is in great condition but is most likely going to be used on a slim occasion. This car is made for those sunny days with the top being a just in case thing. Kind of like that hand powered wiper, I dont think I would want to be caught out with that thing. The bench seat is vinyl allowing for easy cleaning while being extra durable. Options on this 1927 Chevrolet Roadster include; Bias Ply Tires, Steel Wheels, Manual Convertible Top and Vinyl Interior. This 1927 Ford Roadster is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Now For Sale in our Dallas Showroom is one Gorgeous 1986 Chevrolet C10 Shortbed. This 2 Owner Truck Originally from Oklahoma, Super Clean, Frame off restored! WOW! We all know that an outstanding restoration begins with a solid foundation, and youd be hard pressed to find a better starting point than the one enjoyed by this 1986 Chevrolet C10 Silverado - a rugged truck known for its durability that had been lightly travelled by its only single owner even before its frame off restoration. Things only get better from there, as its exterior was brought to top form, a jaw-dropping, one of a kind interior was installed and a collection of top tier components was added to give this Chevy performance thats on a par with its exceptional curb appeal. There were no shortcuts taken here. Bordeaux Pearl paint, a striking burgundy shade borrowed from Lexus, is draped over the exterior and it looks great in this setting, with nice, even coloring from front to back and no orange peel to be found. A custom billet grille sits up front, and it adds a premium-plus feel to the appearance without overpowering the distinctive quad headlight configuration Silverados of this era featured. On top of that distinctive paint sits an array of chrome that from front to back is looking great - the SS Silverado badging on the front fenders is just killer. In the same spirit as all the other touches on this Chevy, the aftermarket hood features an aggressive but very tasteful scoop to set this pickup even further apart from the crowd. In back, the skillfully-painted Jimmy Buffett-esque summer scene on the liftgate is enough to bring calm and drop your blood pressure within seconds of viewing it. Its a very sharp looking, classic truck, with outstanding details wherever you look. Just beyond the doors is an equally exceptional interior. Its a category killer as far as well-crafted exotic driving environments are concerned, with black ostrich framing the gray tweed bench seat and dash area, and centered as inserts in the door panels. Climb in and youll find that the entire dash area has been thoroughly customized, with a set of white-faced AutoMeter gauges taking their place in a brushed aluminum instrument cluster, while a custom steering wheel sits within easy reach, looking awfully inviting on its tilt column. The air conditioning is in great form, standing by to keep you and your passengers comfortable via the trio of in-dash vents, and an AM/FM/CD player sits in the dash to provide your soundtrack while out on the road. In back, the bed area is in the unusually clean condition youd expect, based on everything else around it, and features a sturdy liner that extends over the diamond-plate tool box in front. Underneath the aftermarket hood, youll find a 350 cubic inch crate engine thats armed with a performance cam, Vortec heads, an Air Gap intake and a 650 CFM carb, so this Silverado excels on the road just as much as it does while stopped on display for admirers. The engine sounds great, breathing easily into its Hooker headers leading to the Flowmaster exhaust. The drivetrain is rounded out by a pair of well-matched components - a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with versatile gearing to provide both good off the line acceleration, and an overdrive for low RPMs on the highway, and a limited slip rear end for added surefootedness, whose 3.73 ratio is a great match for the transmission. Power steering and power front disc brakes make navigation and stopping easy. This exceptional pickup rides on a set of 15 Boyd Coddington wheels wrapped with Firestone Wilderness tires. If youre looking for a truck thats clearly been loved all its life and you want to make a definitive statement with your custom pickup, this 1986 Chevrolet C10 Silverado has you covered in all aspects! Call today! This 86 Chevy C10 for sale is well equipped, with options that include: AC, AM/FM Radio with CD player, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Seats, power windows, power lock, Tilt wheel, Seat belts, Leather interior, Boyd wheels wrapped in radial tires. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is excited to have for sale this beautiful 1952 MG TD. The MG TD is as English as it gets. The style and design of this car is purely timeless. Their older models were so popular to American soldiers during and after the war that MG decided to make a left-hand drive MG for the American people, and boy did they not disappoint. The car is powered by its inline 4 paired to a 4 speed manual transmission. Look inside the cabin and you see the beautiful red vinyl bucket seats that always is a fantastic compliment to a black painted exterior. This car has been well maintained and appreciated by its current owner for the past 40+ years. Originally being a California car it has enjoyed a life away from the cold snow. The car still retains all its original parts and body panels, and whether you ride with the top up or down you are riding in style. The car sits on top of 15-inch rims and has only 81406 miles. It is currently looking for a new owner to enjoy its beauty and elegance. The car also includes a Shelley Jack, King Dick wrench and Sockets for the English measurements and Dunlop tire bead breakers to help fix flats on the go! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to present this “time capsule” of a 1989 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z. In 1985, Chevrolet introduced the legendary IROC-Z version that was named after the International Race of Champions. Offered as an option package on the Z28, the Camaro IROC-Z featured an upgraded suspension, lowered ride height, specially-valved Delco-Bilstein shocks, larger diameter sway bars, a steering/frame brace known as the wonder bar, a special decal package, and an optional tuned port injection system taken from the Chevrolet Corvette. It also shared the Corvettes unidirectional tires in a 245/50/VR16 and received unique new aluminum 5-spoke 16x8-inch wheels. This three-owner, show-ready, 1989 Camaro IROC-Z has its original 350 TPI 5.7L V8 and 4-speed automatic with only 57,780 miles showing. Everything works, including the power windows, hatch switch, radio, cold AC, and power seats. The steering wheel leather is good, the factory leather interior and factory floor mats look great, as well as the original hatch shade, carpet, and headliner. Only things that are not original are the very expensive repaint and decals, windshield, intake, and catalytic converter. The car runs great, looks great, and has always been stored in a climate-controlled garage. From bumper to bumper, this car is mostly all-original, making it a vehicle that rates high on the list of many serious collectors. Because most of these Camaro IROC-Zs were used as God intended - modified and drag-raced to death. It’s rare to find a well-preserved example. The bottom line is simple; whether you’re looking for a daily driver, a collector car, or an investment; this is it! For more information on this 1989 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z for sale, please call the Dallas-Fort Worth showroom at (817) 310-9400, or email us at Dallas@GatewayClassicCars.com. To see more of it, go to our website: www.GatewayClassicCars.com, where youll see HD photos and an HD video of it in operation. Alternatively, if you want to see it in person, come to our Dallas-Fort Worth Showroom, located at 1250 Mustang Drive, Suite 500, Dallas-Fort Worth Airport, TX 76051.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer this sinister Starlight Black Pontiac Firebird Formula 400. This Formula 400 Firebird is certainly a worthy car for either the first-time muscle car purchaser looking to have fun, or the long-time collector looking to add to an existing collection. Gaze over its exterior...at first glance, the Starlight Black is an eye-catcher and combines well with the Firethorn Red bucket interior. The front end has that aggressive look with its dual snorkel scoops, which help suck air into the engine bay. The sleek, bold styling of the car exudes a classy, confident attitude. This Firebird performs just as good as it looks. It boasts a freshly-rebuilt 400 CID Pontiac V8 (with about 1140 miles on it), topped by a 650CFM 4BBL carb from Summit Racing on an aluminum Edelbrock intake manifold, which gets the air/fuel mix into the #48 Pontiac heads. In addition, a lumpy-idling CompCams bumpstick with .507/.510 lift and 284/296 duration specs really brings this beast to life when you nail the loud pedal and it hits it made-for RPM range. All you need to do is step on the gas to awaken the sleeping giant. Power is transferred from the engine via a brand-new clutch and pressure plate through a Borg-Warner Super T10 4-speed manual transmission to a 10 bolt posi-traction rear end with 3.23:1 gears. So, what are we waiting for - get in and fasten your seat belt. While youre getting ready for the rumble, youll see that the interior is in very good shape, with its Firethorn Red vinyl seating, and new carpet, it has the look. Grab the Hurst shifters trademark T-handle shift knob, depress the clutch, and turn the key. Get ready for a fun ride! Several other enhancements were made during the updates, including the new clutch/pressure plate combo, new throw-out bearing, new fuel pump, new alternator, all new belts and hoses, new aluminum radiator, new carpet, and DynaMat insulation under the carpet. In addition, theres also an aftermarket Pioneer AM/FM/CD head-unit with Aux input, which puts out better sound than anything they had in 1976! Additional options on this 1976 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400 for sale include Power Brakes, Power Steering, Posi-Traction, Raised White Letter Radial Tires, Rally Wheels, Seat Belts, Tilt Wheel, and Vinyl Interior. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this striking blue 1970 Ford Mustang Coupe for sale at our Gateway Classic Cars Showroom in Saint Louis. This classic is ready to drive and show-off immediately. It is also priced to sell. BACKGROUND: The first-generation Ford Mustang was manufactured by Ford from March 1964 until 1973. The introduction of the Mustang created a new class of automobile known as the pony car. The Mustang’s styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competition. It was initially introduced on April 17, 1964, as a hardtop and convertible with the fastback version put on sale in August 1964. At the time of its introduction, the Mustang, sharing its underpinnings with the Falcon, was slotted into a compact car segment. With each revision, the Mustang saw an increase in overall dimensions and engine power. The 1970 Ford Mustang was the last year before its dramatic redesign (source: Wikipedia). This particular 1970 Ford Mustang, originally built in San Jose, California, is now powered by a 351 Windsor (410 HP) with a C4 3 speed automatic transmission. Underneath the hood, youll also find a Holly 4-barrel Edelbrock headers and a dual Magnaflow exhaust. Stopping your American racing wheels (225/50/17 front and 245/50/17 rear) going over the edge are front disc and rear drum brakes. Getting you to where you need to be is assisted by a smooth turning power steering and a B&M Z-gate shifter. There are many other new parts and upgrades to this classic, including a 20 Maxcore 3-row radiator, heater core, hoses, steering RAG joint, master cylinder, front wheel bearing and seals, brake lines, speedometer & cable, instrument cluster rebuild with LED lighting & new gauge circuit board, turn signal wire harness, horns, Bluetooth, CD player, washer pump, hoses, nozzles. Some original and replacement parts, along with a shop manual and wiring diagrams on a CD are in the trunk of the car and included with the purchase. To view this 1970 Ford Mustang in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to offer this 2003 Mercedes Benz SL55 AMG. Though most people do not realize the Mercedes Benz companys origins are rooted in the early racing scene. One of probably the most notorious stories was in 1934 Alfred Neubauer, head engineer at the time, directed his crew to grind off all the paint on their factory backed race cars. It had nothing to do with looks but about weight. The company has come a long way since 34 with their biggest priorities being luxury and safety. This 2003 has both but those three little letters behind it is what makes this droptop so special. This 03 has a clean AutoCheck and is ready to hit the open road. Under the hood is the hand-built Supercharged 5.5 LTR V8 that is putting out just shy of 500 ponies. Capable of turning out quarter miles times in the high 12s this is one luxury hotrod that is as fast as it is beautiful. Of course, with that kind of speed brakes are not your average setup. The 14.2-inch rotors on the front and 13s in the rear are drilled and vented to stay cool under pressure. The eight piston calipers increase the clamping force tremendously and bringing this drop-top down to a halt in very respectable distances. Hit the button and watch as the AMG becomes a transformer, the trunk kicks up as the steel roof is lowered away. Hit the other button and watch as the hideaway roll bar comes up. The interior is full of fun stuff with the bucket seats being covered in some of the nicest leather you have ever seen. If you have been wanting to get one of the nicest fastest drop-tops to ever hit the streets but cant justify the 6 figure selling prices on newer ones. This well-maintained example could be the right way to go. Options on this 2003 Mercedes Benz Sl55 AMG include, AC, AM/FM/CD, Power Convertible Top, Power Windows, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Cruise Control, Tilt Steering, Leather Interior, and Aluminum Alloy Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires.
