Description:

Now available at our Houston showroom is this 1996 Trans Am WS6! **This car comes with a transferrable warranty through Warranty Direct until June 2018** “You had me at hello.” was the movie line of 1996 in Jerry Maquire and “totally” applies to this time capsule 1996 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 Ram Air Performance Package. With only 23,017 miles and limited production numbers of only 2105 makes this pretty beast of a Pontiac pretty rare. But let’s forget the rarity of the car for a moment and the fact that the manufacturer doesn’t even exist any longer – and let’s talk about what is sitting outside. The curvy and seductive lines are classic Pontiac. Stance is low and daring, European but with American muscle. A view from the nose can only be described as menacing. The Fire Hawk inspired duel snorkel hood is only accented by what clearly looks like airplane landing lights nestled front and center. Closer inspection reveals ‘Ram Air’ inscription placed curiously non intrusive in matching body color lettering. In fact all lettering, Pontiac, Trans Am and Ram Air are all body color matching in Arctic White and blend right in with a 3d effect, until you reach the rear. There is no doubt this sexy beast wants you to know it is WS6 Performance Package, blazingly displayed in a red and gold emblem. Yes, you’re looking at a car that can do 0-60 in 5.8 seconds with a top speed of about 160mph and that’s stock – from 20 years ago! The mighty LT1 5.7 Liter 350 Cubic Inch V8 with new this year less restrictive exhaust system incorporating duel cats instead of the previous single canister. With the Pontiac Only Ram Air option horsepower muscled out another 20 horses to a venomous 305 HP and 335 pounds of torque, proud numbers even in today’s environment. The 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission shifts and handles the performance as it should. The only way to get the Ram Air engine was to order the Ram Air WS6 Performance and Handling Package, a $4,000 increase over the Firebird price. Both of these names were synonyms with Pontiac Performance from years past but not recently used. The WS6 meant stiffer suspension, steering and four wheel disc brakes that made the Trans Ams of the 70’s America’s best handling car of its time. This 1996 Trans Am exceeds all expectations with stiffer tubular front anti-roll bar, higher –rate springs, firmer transmission mount and Panhard-rod bushings with appropriate tuned shocks. The Ram Air Trans Am wasn’t seen since the 60’s. Borrowing right from the SLP Firehawk a set of 17x9 wheels wrapped in 275/40ZR17 Goodyear GS-C rubber added to top flight handling. It’s also the first year an F-body was fitted with 17” rims. The American Muscle car with European handling complete with air bags, anti lock brakes, AM/FM and CD player stereo with equalizer. Lumbar support- power seats, power door locks, power windows, tilt wheel, keyless entry, anti-theft system and T-TOPS! So, we know it’s fast, looks cool, will be a blast to drive and be seen in. With just a hair over 23,000 miles this could be your everyday driver for years at well under the cost of a new Hyundai. Or it’s the weekend cruiser, knowing the value of the no longer produced Trans Am is only increasing. Or do both, just make sure when you see other Trans Am owners you say ‘hello’. To view this 1996 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 Performance Package in greater detail, including and HD video and HD pictures, please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or visit our Houston Showroom. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this amazingly well-preserved 1990 Chevrolet Corvette coupe. This all-American sports car has traveled less than 50,000 original miles since it left a dealers lot nearly 28 years ago. Owned by a life-long car guy, its been well cared-for since new by other people with similar dedication to its preservation. Even the original red paint finish is nearly flawless. This Vette has pretty much every option that could be ordered, and even has a removeable roof panel. The glass insert panel has never been installed; its still in the original vinyl bag. The original window sticker is still with the car and shows how well-equipped it was when it was assembled in Bowling Green, KY. The original owners literature is still with the car. Everything on the car works well except that the power antenna gear has been stripped, but a new, genuine GM part comes with it. The RH window motor works intermittently, may just be a simple fix, although a new motor is included as well. The cylinder that keeps the back glass up needs to be replaced, and a TPMS sensor has tripped the warning light. These are all minor things, but need to be pointed out. The interior is flawless and even still smells new. A high quality car cover is also included. The leather seating surfaces are still soft. Sharp-eyed Corvette enthusiasts will notice that this car has later-model wheels on it. The current owner prefers the look of these beautiful wheels over what the car had on it originally. Whether youre a purist or not, you must admit that these wheels really look sharp on this one. To see 100-plus pictures and a video of this awesome 1990 Chevrolet Corvette coupe, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this 2001 Ford Mustang Bullitt/GT. This Bullitt is production number 2,733 of 5,582. This 1 owner car has been well cared for but still enjoyed through the years and still holds lower miles than many newer vehicles today. With just over 57,000 original miles this car still runs and drives without any issues. To add some novelty to this beauty are the two autographs located on the underside of the trunk lid. The signatures are from Scott Hoag who was the Customization engineer at the time along with Austin Craig who is a well-known Shelby historian. Powering this beast is the original 4.6L V8 which is paired up to a smooth shifting 5-speed manual transmission. Being a stock Bullitt with a little bit of research you can known everything you’ve ever needed to know about the Bullitt and how iconic it has grown to become. Being named after the classic movie “Bullitt” featuring Steve McQueen as the driver of the even more memorable ’68 Mustang that started it all. This Bullitt is painted in the same Dark Highland Green as the original which is very suitable for those who are fans of the movie. In this color there were 3,041 of the 5,582 ’01 Bullitt Mustangs produced with an unknown number still on the road. With time, this is sure to be a great collector car and still enjoyable to drive around town leaving a smile on your face. Even the interior of this car remains in good condition. Description:

Now up for sale in Gateways Louisville showroom is this good looking 1970 Chevrolet Caprice. This cool Hardtop 4 door Caprice brings back memories of going to the country to visit Grand Pa and Grand Ma. Their go to vehicle for church on Sundays was Chevrolet very similar to this. This Caprice is believed to be a 3-owner car. Originally sold in Hodgenville Ky, the 2nd purchased this Caprice in 1996. The 2nd owner then sold it to his son who has owned it for the last 10 years. The 350 CID V8 was rebuilt about 8 years ago and only has 4000 miles on it. Under the hood, everything looks to be intact, which can sometimes be a hard thing to find in these older classics. Everybody wants to hot rod them and this leads to a lot to the original parts missing. Who didnt ride around in a big 4-door Chevy back in high school? The exterior looks to have one repaint, but it is the original color. The quarter panels where replaced by restoration shop that typically restores Corvettes. Inside, this 1970 Chevrolet Caprice is in very good shape. The cloth and vinyl is in excellent shape with no rips or tears. The vinyl does not appear to have any cracks, which is a rarity for these big body classics. If you have been wanting to get an extremely clean classic that is a little different this beauty is a great canidate. Options for this 1970 Chevrolet Caprice include; Air Conditioning, AM Radio, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Vinyl/Cloth Interior, Seat Belts and Ralley Wheels shod with White Wall Radial Tires. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver is proud to welcome this Black 6 Speed Manual C5 Corvette! Back ground on the C5. The C5 (1997- 2004) was the most completely redesigned Corvette since the Corvettes inception in 1953. Production of the C5 Corvette actually began in 1996 but quality/manufacturing issues saw its release to the public in mass delayed until 1997, and continuing through the 2004 model year. The C5 was a completely new design that featured many new concepts and manufacturing breakthroughs that would be carried forward to the C6 & C7. It had a top speed of 176 mph (283 km/h) and was judged by the automotive press as a breakthrough with vastly improved dynamics in nearly every area over the previous C4 design. The list of all new innovations include: • Industry leading 0.29 drag coefficient • Near 50/50 weight distribution (actually 51%F/49%R) due to the all new powertrain layout • The first Corvette to actually use an upper rear suspension arm, instead of the drive shafts performing double duty as the upper locator arm • An all new chassis design that was more akin to a stressed monocoque than the former ladder designs which featured an all new stressed center tunnel design for increased torsional rigidity • All new hyrdoformed side rails increased torsional rigidity more than 4 times that of the C4 and previous Corvette generations • All new suspension geometries, in which the actual chassis widths and lengths were changed to affect the track and wheelbase dimensions. This was in contrast to simply changing the location of a mounting point that may not truly affect chassis geometry • All new production of a rear mounted transmission, including a torque(drive)shaft from the front of the engine to the rear transmission • Reduction of over 1,000 parts from the previous C4 • All new, never before seen active handling (it was the first ever stability control for a Corvette, and not just traction control for the 98/99 - 2004) • Lower weight (3,219 lbs) compared to C4 (Note: this weight for the 97-99 model years for the base coupe was still lighter than the C6 that replaced it) • Greatly improved quality • Improved fuel economy • Magna-Steer electronic power steering assistance • First ever staggered tire size (for production Corvettes), with smaller sizes in the front than the rear. This was done to improve CD. • First ever twin fuel tanks, one behind each seat, aided the packaging of the C5; it, along with virtually all of the C5s innovations have been incorporated in the C6 & C7 models as well. • First ever dual durometer suspension bushings to improve ride quality without sacrificing cornering grip and vehicle handling dynamics • Large trunk was purposefully designed to accommodate two full golf bags • First ever bonding to frame for body panels manufacturing in Corvette production history • Super stiff chassis (24-25 Hz) made primarily of hydroformed steel. Starting with the C5 Z06, and then carried through the C6 and C7 models the chassis tunnel cover thickness was increased to aid rigidity from the relatively thin Base C5. The C6 tunnel plate actually mounts perfectly to the C5 model for an easy upgrade. Note: The C7 has adjusted some of its welding patterns and thickness points to. • ALL new LS1 aluminum engine (Gen III small block); it featured individual ignition coils for each cylinder (instead of a distributor and a single coil), aluminum block and pistons, a very deep skirt design for increased durability, and many other technical and manufacturing innovations. This third-generation small block V8s complete redesign also featured a new cylinder firing order to improve idle and rev smoothness. It was initially rated at 345 bhp and 350 lb?ft, The new engine, combined with the new body and its low 0.29 drag coefficient, was able to achieve up to 28 mpg on the highway (Source WikipediA) Dont miss your opportunity to own a piece of American made muscle in our Denver Showroom. Description:

The 1998 Chevrolet Corvette earned Motor Trends Car of The Year award and After being owned and loved by the same owners for the last 14 years, it is time for this 1998 Chevrolet Corvette to be enjoyed by a new owner! Only 54,670 miles have been put on this car since it was purchased new in 1998 and still performs and shows great. In 1997 Chevrolet dramatically changed the look of the Corvette making it the fifth generation (C5) and with this new generation came a much more powerful engine called the LS1 rated at 345 horsepower and became a game changer in the automotive world. The jet black paint is hard to beat on the long swooping lines of a C5 Corvette and paired with the black leather interior and black top gives it such a clean look. The interior has been kept in very good shape with little wear showing on any of the normal wear points like seats, steering wheel, or radio. The power windows, locks, seats, and mirrors are all working as they should. Once behind the wheel of this Corvette and cruising around how well this car performs. The steering is tight and corners hard, the power is always right there at the press of the throttle, and the braking is incredible. The C5 Corvette has made a name for itself over the years and still can perform with the best of them! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is thrilled to offer this one-owner 2006 Ford Mustang GT in our Arizona showroom. 2006 was the second year after Ford retro-futuristically redesigned the Mustang to resemble the fastbacks of the late 1960s. This Mustang GT sports a striking exterior Windveil Blue paintjob while its all business inside with dark charcoal cloth seats. While this pony looks fast just sitting, it has the powertrain with all the right modifications to back those looks up. The stock 4.6l V8 engine is tied to a 5-speed automatic transmission that shifts with just the vigor you would expect. Some of the performance enhancement highlights to this Mustang GT include a cold air intake, Mustang X-Pipes and Flowmaster mufflers, Eiback pro-series shocks and struts and Baer drilled and slotted brake rotors. The improvements continue to the drive line with an 8,8 rear end geared to 3.27. Despite all the awesome modifications, the owner has shrewdly saved original parts to be sold with the car such as the factory springs and mufflers as well as recently bought new Yokohama tires rated at 60,000 miles of future use. This really is one of the best looked-after 2006 Ford Mustang GTs I have ever seen. This car was sold new in Phoenix, was never daily driven and has been entered in 13 Mustang Club of America National and Grand National shows, winning 8 Golds, 2 Silver and 3 Bronze awards in the process. Yesterdays thinkers are todays buyers so act now. It is also a one of one car, as verified by the Marti (Ford licensed) report. If youre looking for a Mustang GT from this era this IS the car for you, I have never seen one better cared for, so dont let it slip and give Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale a call today for more information on our 2006 Ford Mustang GT at (623) 900-4884 or email us directly at scottsdale@gatewayclassiccars.com

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1974 Volkswagen Beetle Volksrod! Much like T-Bucket is a catch all term for hot rodded classics, Volksrod is the catch all term for hot rodded beetles! You are probably here reading this now because this vehicle caught your attention. Here, just about anything with a V8 made before this century catches our eye, but this one is special. For starters, we have the peoples car. Volkswagens Beetle represented so many different things to the world when it arrived, and it has morphed into a culture in the decades following. Here is a tasteful side of the adventurous part of the culture. This is a pretty heftily customized build with a 4 bolt main 350 V8 under the hood, cranking to a TH350 3 speed automatic, which spins 3.73:1 gears on the rear end. There is plenty of power out of that V8 and not a ton of weight to slow you down! The suspension and frame has been modified or custom-built to suit all the modifications. The rear-end is narrowed with 4-link and coil-over suspension. There are loads of custom touches all the way around this Volksrod, and the build quality looks great! 1974 Volkswagen Beetle Volksrod is for sale in our St. Louis Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

If you are looking for a low mileage classic Corvette than look no further than this 25 Anniversary 1978 Chevrolet Corvette! With 52,452 miles registered on the odometer this thing is just begging to be taken out on the road and enjoyed for many years to come. The Anniversary Vettes introduced many styling upgrades that would continue to the end of C3 production, including the deep chin spoiler, the fastback roofline, and ducktail spoiler, and many would consider this the pinnacle of style. The two-tone silver paint on the exterior looks just as great in the shade as it does in the sunlight! If you ask me one of the best features these cars had is the T-tops roof! These seal just as tight as the day they were new to keep any inclement weather out but can also be removed in a jiffy to allow the sunshine in and the wind to blow through your hair as you cruise down the road. Under the hood youll find the original 350 cubic inch V8 which is rated at 185 horsepower. This beautiful Corvette has brand new exhaust as well. Backing the engine is a 3-speed automatic transmission. While sitting behind the seat you are welcomed by the factory dash and gauge cluster sure to transport you back to the days when these cars ruled the road. Silver cloth bucket seats keep you and any passenger comfortable no matter what your driving style. Radial tires and alloy wheels add to the sporty looks of the exterior while keeping to the original great looks of this car. You can view this 1978 Chevrolet Corvette in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

For sale in our Houston Showroom is this stunning 1929 Ford Model A Sports Coupe. The black on black exterior combination really shines and complements the cream wheels nicely. This model A even comes with the unique rumble seat which is an awesome feature. This nice little classic is powered by an I4 which these came with from the factory. Its paired up to a 3-speed manual transmission and makes for a great cruiser around town. The owner sates that this car does hav 737 unknown miles along with a complete restoration down to the frame. Some other nice touches are the rear window which is from a 1930 model as they are slightly bigger to give you better view. The restoration on this Model A took place back in the 80s and was noted by the owner that most of it was done using lead. The interior of this Model A is as you would expect for this era of car. With tan cloth interior this car shows very well. If you notice along the top, the framing is nicely done in a stained wood and compliments the car well. If youre really wanting to take a trip down memory lane and see what it was like to ride in style during the 1930s then this is the car for you. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a wild 1931 Ford Model A hot rod! This mean green machine started life out as a 1931 Ford Model A. Then one thing led to another and it now has a tailgate from an old Willys Overland. No fiberglass here, all steel. Power comes from a torquey 400 small block Chevy and is sent through a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. More than enough power for this little guy. The suspension is comprised of coil springs and a triangulated four bar for the rear and up front is a dropped straight axle with disc brakes. Paint is very eye catching and fits this build perfectly. The green paint shines well and is complimented by some serious artsy gold designs and patterns throughout. Inside is pretty bare but what were you expecting? You have two pedals, 2 seats, a shifter, a steering wheel, some gauges and buttons. Thats all you need with this wild child. Even though this is a 1931 Ford Model A, it is titled as a 2014 Special Construction. For more information on this wild child of a Ford Model A, call our St. Louis showroom at 618-271-3000. To view 100+ High Definition photos and video of it running and driving, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
