Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is honored to offer this beautiful and well-loved 1955 Ford Customline 2-door sedan for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. Positioned in Fords lineup between the Mainline and Fairlane, the Customline was redesigned for 55 and was a sales success, turning nearly half a million units for the Dearborn-based automaker. This Fine Ford comes painted in a delightful “Waterfall Blue (re-sprayed since new) and the shimmering chrome bumpers and trim reminds you that this 55, like many contemporary 1950s American automobiles, was a post-war prosperity symbol. Firestone wide white wall tires with chrome hubcaps complete the stock look on this lovely Customline. As youd expect from this preserved Ford, the interior is in excellent condition and the front vinyl/cloth light blue bench seat is a comfortable place to sit. Dash and instrument gauges are also period correct but the biggest giveaway to this cars collector status is that “Three-on-the-Tree (column shift) 3-speed manual transmission. Its amazing to think how many of us and our ancestors learned to drive with a similar set up. The powerplant under the hood of this 55 Ford is the 223 CID Inline 6 cylinder engine, rated at 120hp from the factory. No, it isnt the fastest car you can buy but this is a smooth, simple and reliable engine thats more than capable of taking this Customline to your destination. The motor is “numbers matching (according to the seller) and has been well-maintained over its 3-owner lifetime. We have all kinds of sweet rides at Gateway Classic Cars but its hard not to fall for a “survivor car like this 1955 Ford Customline 2-door sedan for sale. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is presenting this 1986 Dodge Shelby Charger in the Milwaukee Showroom. Carrol Shelby has done plenty of collaboration work with other brand name cars over the years, most of which has been associated with Ford famous for bringing an American car name brand into the conversation of being winners at the Lemans. What is a little less known is the work he did with Dodge all the way up to the creation of the Viper with a few models put out in the 80s in between which included Shelby variants of the Daytona, Dakota, and the Charger bringing lackluster underpowered models more style and more life to a boring lineup. Starting in 1983 Carroll Shelby had decided to take an amount of the Dodge Chargers and modify them with upgraded suspension, a turbocharged 2.2-liter 4 cylinder engine and a combo of ground effects and paint job to bring a dark era for a well named vehicle into the light. This blue beauty features silver stripes and black window louvers on the rear glass to cap off an aggressive look to this beauty. The 2.2-liter four banger makes in excess of 110 horsepower to help this small sized car along with ease while providing a sporty and direct ride between the suspension and quick steering ratio. The turboed little beauty is bolted up to a 5-speed manual transmission that helps back up the sporty looks of this car by offering the most accurate ideal of what it means to be behind the wheel of this sports car. The Shelby Charger is equipped with AM/FM radio with cassette, TTop roof, power brakes, power steering, and cruise control to make a fun ride an easy one to be in for a road trip. This 1986 Dodge Shelby Charger is at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. Description:

For sale in our Fort Lauderdale Showroom is this RED 2003 Ford Thunderbird. In 1955, the Thunderbird was revealed as a personal luxury car and changed over time until production ceased at the end of 1997. In 2002, Ford brought the Thunderbird back as a two-seat model that was available until the end of 2005, during its success Ford produced over 4.4 million Thunderbirds. The eleventh generation had the same two-seat coupe/convertible layout as the first generation as well as some of the same characteristics as was on the 55-57 T-Birds. Because the Thunderbird shared the same DEW98 platform as the Lincoln LS and Jaguar S-Type, they shared interior styling particularly in the dash area, instrument panel, steering wheel and a Jaguar designed AJ-30 3.9L DOHC V8. This model is hiding a 3.9L V8 FI DOHC 32V engine and a 7-speed automatic transmission under the hood. There was a total of Thunderbirds built in 14,678, 4500 of which were finished in the beautiful RED exterior paint. The RED AND BLACK two-tone leather interior provides an excellent contrast to the bright RED exterior. This T-Bird comes with both the hard top, which is painted RED to match the exterior, and a power soft top as well. You have the potential for 3 different looks, hard top coupe, soft top cabriolet, and 2 seat roadster, what more could you want? The odometer reads just over 71 k miles, which represents the actual mileage on the car. Options for this 2003 Ford Thunderbird include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Aluminum/Alloy Wheels, Anti-Lock Brakes, Anti-Theft System, Power Convertible Top, Cruise Control, Driver/Passenger Airbag, Leather Interior, Heated Seats, Power Brakes, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Mirrors, Power Steering, Power Windows, Radial Tires, Rear Window Defogger, Seatbelts, Tilt Wheel, and Traction Control. Description:

Gateway classic cars of Nashville is proud to digitally present this 1972 Lincoln Continental Mark IV. All dressed up in Ivy moondust green with a dark green vinyl top and interior this is one sharp Mark IV. Now those that remember the 1970s remember that the cost of 9/10th of a gallon of gas averaged .36. At 36 cents a gallon people drove cars, cars that took up some real estate. In this climate the Mark IV was considered a midsized car but one with style and class. Now in 1972 this car was purchased by the current owners parents, so it has been in the same family for all these years since. The current owner has spent countless hours in search of any part that needed to be replaced on the car, insisting that only new old stock parts be used to keep it as original as possible only giving in with the carburetor where he acquiesced and went with the much improved Edelbrock (R) 1406 with 600 CFM. This New carburetor feed the massive 460 Cubic inch V8 that is used to move this beauty. Backing the 460 is a C3 three speed automatic transmission that helps this big girl float down the highway at cruising speeds. Inside the cabin there is a galley kitchen and master suite, ok just joking. Lets just say that there is room for 6 adults. This is a comfortable car to take a family trip in. And should one of the children act up on the way, just send them to their room. Options for this 1972 Lincoln Continental Mark IV include: Air conditioning, AM/FM radio, Cruise control, Power windows, steering, brakes and seats, Tilt steering wheel, Leather interior, Seat belts and Radial tires. This 1972 Mark IV can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD photos at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is offering a 1931 Ford Model A two door sedan. The Model A paved the way for mass produced vehicles. By the end of the run, Ford had produced almost 5 million Model As. These vehicles could be purchased in a variety of body styles. From sporty roadsters to industrial trucks, the platform was extremely versatile. This particular example is the popular two door sedan. Theres seating for 4 and plenty of windows for airflow. Even the front wind screen can be tilted open to let in fresh air. Under the hood is a simple flat head 4-cylinder engine. It uses a 3-speed manual transmission and transfers power to the rear axle. These cars are not speed machines, but they are torquey and fun to drive around town. The consignor has owned the car since 1999, and states they have the receipt for the engine rebuild from 7/00. This one fires up nicely and runs and drives like it should. The exterior is a Brown and Tan 2- tone paint, with cloth interior upholstery. This Model A is road ready and has a lot of life left. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is happy to present this nice 1991 Cadillac Allante. The Cadillac Allante is a two-door, two-seater luxury roadster marketed by Cadillac from 1987 until 1993. It used a Cadillac chassis and running gear with a body built in Italy by coachbuilder Pininfarina. It was expensive to produce with the complete bodies flown to Detroit for final assembly. Over 21,000 were built during its seven-year production run. This nice example in white on burgundy is better than most you will find, with a nice body, paint and interior showing less than average wear. These are nice cars, with the 4.5 liter V8 and 4-speed automatic, producing enough power to be a contender in the sports car market. In 1991, Cadillac added a power-latching mechanism for the convertible top and redesigned the top stowage cover mechanism to address customer complaints. The Bose stereo system was upgraded to 200 watts, and the digital instrument cluster featured in all but 275 Allante models this year, was repriced (it was now a $495 option for the convertible model). Prices began at $57,260, although a midyear price drop brought the Allante convertible down to $55,900. This beauty runs and drives quite well, everything working per the seller, and shows only 70,570 miles on the clock, inline with the clean CarFax. The owner is providing a 3-ring binder full of receipts, which is very nice history to have. This 1991 Cadillac Allante Convertible is for sale through our Fort Lauderdale showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and a HD video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com for more information please call the showroom at 954-227-4202 or email us at ftlauderdale@gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars are excited to present this full-size 1976 Ford Ranchero 500 at our Milwaukee location. The Ford Ranchero was manufactured between 1957 and 1979. Built on a two- door station wagon platform intergrading a cab and cargo bed into the body. The original Ranchero was so successful that General Motors got into the Car/ pickup craze with the Chevrolet El Camino in 1959. Over its lifespan, the Ranchero was produced on compact, mid-sized and full -size platforms. Considered an alternative utility vehicle, the Ranchero took on a cult following for customers who had no interest in a full- size pickup truck. A following that led to 508,000 units sold during its production run. Our sixth generation 1976 Ford Ranchero 500 is the perfect solution for someone looking for a weekend warrior. Whether you are making a run to the home improvement store or picking up the Christmas tree, this Ranchero will get the job done. Based on the Ford Torino, the new Ranchero was produced on a new body-on-frame design which resulted in a larger, heavier model. Powered by a 351 modified V-8 engine attached to a 3-speed automatic transmission. Producing plenty of power to get any job done. This Ranchero is beautifully painted in dark red with factory white racing stripes. A 50/50 split front seat highlights the handsome black vinyl interior. Options include power steering, power brakes, am/fm/cd radio, cargo mat, and raised white lettered tires. This 1976 Ford Ranchero 500 is not only an eye catcher but can also serve double duty as a small pick-up for those “around the house chores. Description:

In the 70s the Lincoln Mark series was the pinnacle of luxury. This was Ford Motor Companys way to compete with Cadillac and a very successful way at that. The Mark V screams 70s luxury, from its long straight body, to the hideaway head lamps, to the pillow top seating, or even the opera windows. The size, weight, and presence of the vehicle lets you know that someone important is behind the wheel. Although the car is something to admire, behind the wheel is the best place to be. The bench seat is as comfortable as your easy chair at home, the steering is light enough you could steer with one finger, and the ride is so soft it feels like youre floating down the road. This is a car made to cover long spans of roadway. Powering the car along is a 400 CID V8 backed by a silky smooth 3 speed automatic transmission. The original owner ordered this one with plenty of goodies including A/C, AM/FM, cruise control, hub caps, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power windows, power seats, tilt/telescopic wheel, seat belts, cloth interior, and white wall radial tires. These late 70s cruisers have a great following and may be the next high dollar classic. This one is ready for the collector, or simply to be driven and appreciated. You can view this 1978 Lincoln Mark V in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com. http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/DEN/301/1978-Lincoln-Continental-Mark-V

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this sharp 1964 Mercury Comet. This beast is powered by a Ford 302 V8 Engine that includes a holly carb, MSD ignition and ford racing valve covers. Its even has hood pins to keep the beast behind closed doors. Dont be fooled by the 4-speed shift knob as this Comet has a 5-speed transmission that turns 3.08 posi traction gears. This Mercury is set up to handle great with a new front coil spring suspension. The white exterior is complemented greatly by the chrome Riddler wheels that really gleam in the sunlight. The interior is stitched up in an awesome black and burgundy combination that makes the inside as much of a head turner as the outside of the vehicle. Dont worry about keeping cool as this Comet has a new vintage air system. The odometer is only showing 67,478 miles. This body style comet has a lot of history behind it starting in 1964 the Comet was redesigned with a much more square shape, though it was still built on the same unibody as the 1963 model. Its basic lines were shared with the new Falcon, but the front grille used styling similar to that of the Lincoln Continental. Along with the redesign, the model designations were changed. The performance version was known as the Cyclone, replacing the previous S-22. Then in descending order of trim levels were the Caliente, 404 and 202, replacing the previous Custom and base models. The 2-door station wagon body style was discontinued. The top-of-the-line station wagon continued to be known as the Villager. The base 144 cid six engine was dropped and the 170 cid six became the new base engine. The 260 V8 was available at the beginning of the production run, with the new 289 being available mid-year. Due to the success of the full size Ford and Mercury fastback roofline introduced in mid-1963, the Falcon and Comet 2-door hardtops got a similar roofline with sharper corners. These vehicles really helped pave the way for the muscle car era that was about to begin in the United States of America.
