Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1997 Pontiac Trans Am Comp T/A! This is a very original and correct car. These 1997 Pontiac Trans Am Comp T/A cars are pretty low production vehicles and this is a fine example. In 1995, Pontiac, SLP and BF Goodrich built a small run of Trans Am Comp T/A cars to celebrate 25 years of BFGs Comp T/A tire. From 1995 to 1997, a total of 200 cars were built. 1997 saw Pontiac build the last 47 Comp T/As - only seven of which were coupes like this car; and of those coupes, only 2 were equipped with the automatic transmission. This is car #188 of 200 and includes the optional sport suspension, torsen rear differential and oil cooler packages. The outside is Bright Silver Metallic with black leather interior. Both the exterior and interior are in fantastic condition. In the glove box is original documentation from Pontiac, and the complimentary keychain and associated goodies that came with the car new. Under the hood is the 5.7-liter, 350 cubic inch LT1 engine. This was essentially the same engine as the Corvette at the time, but with less restrictive intake and exhaust systems installed by SLP, and was rated at 310hp. 10hp more than the Corvette and 25hp more than a standard LT1 Trans Am. The transmission is the stronger 4L60 4 speed automatic. The AC on this one is not blowing completely cold, however likely just needs a charge. This car also comes with the factory Comp T/A floormats and the Comp T/A car cover. 1997 Pontiac TransAm Comp TA is for sale in our St. Louis Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information please call our knowledgeable staff at (618) 271-3000 or email us at STL@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Our Detroit Showroom is proud to present this awesome 1987 Porsche 928 S4. This very well documented Porsche is dressed in Guards Red over Black Leather and sports its original paint with all original VIN tags still in place! The original interior looks like it was very well kept and currently has just shy of 85,000 original miles on the clock. Ownership history on this one can be traced back to day one and the current collector has done great maintenance work to make sure this 928 S4 performs just as it should. The gas tank was dropped and drained and a new fuel filter and Bosch fuel pump were replaced. The transmission has been flushed several times including replacing transmission lines. The timing belt and water pump were done less than 2,000 miles ago and additionally a PK tensioner upgrade was completed to keep from having to check the tension. The MAF and the LH computer were both recently rebuilt. The front Brembo calipers were recently rebuilt with eight new alloy pistons by Centric. The list of records and invoices for this Porsche stretch longer than train tracks and this would be an awesome well documented collector piece considering this Porsche is starting to catch steam. The thrill of driving a 928 S4 will always be there because everybody knows there is nothing like driving a Porsche. With the recent work done on this Porsche, this is likely one of the better buys on the market that you can actually drive, enjoy and collect. For more information, including over 120HD photos and video of this Porsche in action, please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. The first car to bear the name was the 1949 Coupe de Ville, a pillarless two-door hardtop body style with a prestige trim level above that of the Series 62 luxury coupe. The next year, the DeVille was officially renamed the Cadillac DTS. In 1976, the grille saw a new and finer crosshatching pattern. Cornering lamps received new horizontal silver trim; tail lamp Bezels also gained new chrome-like trim. Eight different color accent stripes were available. Vinyl tops were now integral padded Elk grain material. New trims included sporty plaids, plush velours, knits and 11 distinctive genuine leathers. A Controlled (limited-slip) Differential was included for extra traction. An optional illuminated entry and theft deterrence system was optional. The new Delco Freedom battery, never needed water added.[11] New turbine-vaned and wire wheel covers were offered. A new option locked the doors when the transmission lever was shifted to Drive. New options included a push-button Weather Band built into the AM/FM stereo signal-seeking radio, loose pillow style seats for dElegance packages, plus power passenger and manual driver seat back recliners for 50/50 front seats. Of the 15 standard and six optional Firemist body colors, 13 were new this year. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Detroit is proud to offer a very special 2018 Chevrolet COPO Camaro Hot Wheels Edition! This is the COPO Camaro specifically built for drag racing. A factory-built race car is available for purchase! This one has the Hot Wheels appearance package. Only 69 of these are built every year in recognition of the first COPO Camaros from 1969. This one is 1 of 28 made in the Hot Wheels package, and 1 of only 14 that came with the 350 LSX motor in 2018! This COPO is a one owner car and has yet to make a pass down the drag strip. You can be the first to pilot this instant classic down the track! Power is estimated at 1,200 horsepower! The engine is a high compression LSX 350 with a Whipple Super Charger forcing gobs of fresh air into this fire breathing Camaro. The performance division over at Chevrolet deserves an award. The execution of this build is spot on. Weight reduction was incorporated in every possible area and is down to an estimated 3,200 pounds. It comes stock with a set of Hoosier racing slicks, Strange axles and brake calipers, Trans brake, Wheelie bars, and a parachute. The chassis is NHRA certified and needs to be, as this thing is quick! The NHRA chassis certification is good for 8.50 seconds or slower. These COPO Camaros are capable of mid 8 seconds at 160 MPH! Yes, the wheelie bars are necessary. All four corners are using Strange adjustable coil-over shocks and Strange four-wheel disc brakes with slotted rotors. Wheels are wrapped in Hoosier drag tires. The front runners are 28.0x4.5 and 9.0x30 R15s for the rears. The rears are Hoosiers lightweight radial series. Inside will look a little familiar if youve ridden in a street version of the Camaro. There is still carpeting and a dashboard with an array of gauges, no speedo though, only the important vitals of this heavy hitter engine. In the center where the radio would normally be are all the necessary switches for controlling Ignition, Fuel Pump, Water pump for the intercooler, Headlights and an Auxiliary cooling fan. Amazingly it still has power windows and full door panels. Theres even a factory original steering wheel, although there is no power steering. This 2018 Chevrolet Camaro COPO is for sale in our Detroit Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this jaw dropping 1966 Chevrolet C10. This was a 2200hr + build done by Distinctive Street Rods in Camden, NY. The owner took delivery late September, 2017. You would be hard pressed to be able to build this truck for less than $300,000. There are only 4 original parts on this truck: Cab, hood, grill surround and the front bumper, which has been turned upside down and tips shaped to conform to the fender. Custom powder coated square tube chassis by Scotts Hot rods. IFS, 4 link rear, Moser 9, 3.73:1 gearing. Aluminum 20-gallon fuel tank mounted in the rear under the bed. All lines, brakes and fuel, are polished SS are are virtually every nut, bolt, washer and screw on the entire vehicle. Wilwood 16 rotors front, 14 rear with 6 piston calipers all four corners. Coddington rims: 18x 8 front, 20 x 12 rear. It has power brakes and power steering. The engine is a crate LSA tuned to 600HP. Concept One pulley set with a Lingenfelter under drive pulley on the supercharger snout. The electric pump for the supercharger as well as its SS reservoir is hidden under the right front fender. Custom aluminum radiator by Wizard Cooling and a very efficient electric puller fan keep it cool even on the hottest days. The transmission is a 4L80E, that was built by California Custom, capable of handling 1000 HP. It has an under-chassis cooling fan as well. The cab has had its drip rails shaved, door handles and gas filler opening filled and smoothed. There is an LED 3rd stop light installed in the very upper edge of the rear of the cab. The doors open remotely and there is a manual back up to open a door. There is a master kill switch hidden and well as hidden jumper posts should the battery die. The battery is in the center console, underneath a tray to keep a cleaner appearance throughout. The side glass is 1 piece electrically lifted which was a very expensive, time consuming project. But the look (minus those ugly vent windows) was worth it. The remote that opens the doors is also used as a proximity sending unit for the push button start. The hood is help open with hinges by Eddies Racing. The front turn signals were relocated from the hood to grill, a custom SS bar set (my trademark). They are 4 LED. and the holes where there factory turns signals were are filled. The headlights are J.W. Speaker LEDs, the brightest, whitest ones allowed in the US. The doors, front fenders, bed sides, bed front are all new sheet metal as is the MAR-K reversed tailgate. The handle is on the inside and uses SS cabinet hinges to lower and hold. The rear tubs are new and widened 4.5 to handle the larger rear tires. The bed wood is an African exotic called Padauk. It was milled and then allowed to dry for over 2 years to reduce shrinkage. These are held down by SS strips with hidden hardware. The LED taillights were custom made for this truck. As you will see in the photos, they were installed in custom bezels and then Frenched into the rear bed sides. The lights are 3 function: taillight, stoplight and reverse light. The rear roll pan is integrated into the body and includes a back-up camera. Inside, virtually all the modern amenities: Vintage Air A/C, heater and full defrost. 7 Pioneer AM/FM with XM/Sirius which has Apple Play and all its associated functions. The is a dock on the console for an iPhone integrated with a hidden Lightening cord to the radio to have GPS Nav. There is a hidden mike for hands free talking. The seats are reshaped buckets I designed for long range comfort. As an airline pilot doing trips up to 17 hours, I knew what made a seat comfortable. The seats, headliner, console sides and door panels are covered with the same fine leather as Ferraris. Left electric, right manual. The dash and center console hold a total of 10 custom made gauges from Autometer with body color matching pointers and trim rings. The carpet is vintage Mercedes Benz square loop carpet. The interior was done by Rich Perez, who has done the interiors of over 50 national champion vehicles. The center console is custom built and in addition to the above-mentioned items in it, it has the switches for the power windows and buttons to open the doors. And of course, a 2-cup beverage holder. The paint is PPG Deltron. Their color name is Tin Roof Rusted. It is the 2016 Camaro Garnet Red. Every surface, top to bottom, including the undercarriage has received 3 ceramic coatings. All fabrics and glass have received the proper treatments. With much more to talk about on this truck, and plenty of documentation on the build, this beauty is a MUST HAVE for your collection. Description:

This Camaro has taken the term “resto-mod to a whole new level by creating a unique “Old School/New School resto-mod theme. A perfect example of how special this car is was made clear at a recent car show in Ottawa Kansas where three professional judges named this Camaro as one of the top 10 cars out of over 2,200 other cars at the show. A solid example of how well the general public loves this car is exemplified by it recently winning Hagertys “Best of Show/Peoples Choice award at the Kansas City Royal World Championship Barbeque Car Show at The Kansas NASCAR Speedway. Being truly one-of-a-kind this 69 Camaro absolutely represents the very best of everything a muscle car should be and is a true manifestation of what can only be called a Super Muscle Car. From the massive Fuel Injected 598 Cubic Inch Dart Big Block stroker powerplant making nearly 1,000 horsepower and 858 ft.lbs. of torque (with no turbos, no nitrous, no supercharger), the incredible glassy paint & body, to the perfect low-profile stance this Camaro nails it. Starting as a one-owner low mileage California car this Camaro was taken completely apart and put back together over a 4-year build period by the current owner and other professionals with nothing but the highest quality parts, materials, and craftsmanship. Here are all the details: Paint and Body: The incredible paint and body work was done by Color on Wheels in Denver who specialize in 6-figure classic car builds. Instead of the usual Cortez Silver a PPG silver used by Audi on their 2006 R8 supercar was chosen. One aspect of the meticulous work done by Color on Wheels is the 170 hours of blocking and sanding they took to create the incredible glass-like finish on the Camaro that they are so well known for. The original sheet metal was in near perfect condition so very little metal work was necessary. However, the notoriously leaky rear window seams common to 69 Camaros had to go. They were therefore cut out; new sheet metal was welded in and then ground to perfection. Hence, no seams between the rear window and the trunk lid. Also, if you look closely you can see how all the body lines have been “sharpened from front to back and top to bottom. This not only makes this Camaro body unique from all others by making it look far sleeker, but it creates a shadowing effect in the paint that Chip Foose is also known for. Engine: At the heart of it all is a Dart “Big M Siamese block bored and stroked to 598 cubic inches with Dart Pro 1 CNC 355cc aluminum heads and stainless-steel valves. The heads inner workings are covered by beautiful custom billet aluminum valve covers with engraved Chevrolet racing emblems. The camshaft is a Crower .715 lift mechanical roller with Crower roller lifters and Crower roller rockers. The custom-made aluminum Hogan Racing EFI intake manifold is an absolute work of art and was hand-fabricated by none other than Tim Hogan himself. This amazing fuel injection intake manifold has a 1650 CFM throttle body with fuel supplied by a perfectly tuned Comp Cams “FAST XFI electronic fuel injection system. Massive 2.25 headers are also custom and were specifically designed and built for this engine by Dan Lemmons. A Moroso mechanical vacuum pump pulls unwanted crankcase oil vapor pressure from under the pistons and into a stainless-steel collection can. Transmission: The Transmission is a custom-made HD version of Chevrolets famous road racing transmission of the late 60s, the Muncie M-22 “Rock Crusher 4-speed. Youll love the close ratio shift and that iconic road racing whine as you go through the gears. Clutch: A silky smooth Centerforce “DYAD Dual Disc clutch & pressure plate with aluminum flywheel. Rear End: Narrowed Currie 9 Ford with a Detroit Tru-Trac Posi, 350 gears, & Currie 31-spline axles. Cooling System: Griffin Dual core double pass aluminum radiator with twin 2200 CFM Spal electric fans. A Moroso high volume mechanical water pump is driven by a Billet Specialties serpentine belt. Chassis: The original front and rear clips are still in place but were stripped and painted. The Uni-Body is welded together with subframe connectors and Detroit Speed & Engineering (DSE) mini-tubs have replaced the original wheel tubs that make room for massive rear tires. A 6-point DSE roll bar has also been welded into the chassis for added strength as well as roll over protection. Carbon fiber on the driver and passenger “T-Bone protection bars protect the paint from in and out wear and tear. Suspension: A Detroit Speed & Engineering “Quadra-Link and Panhard Rod with Koni coil-overs provide tremendous stability through this fully adjustable rear suspension. Up front is 2 Drop Spindles along with Global West tubular upper and lower control arms with fully adjustable QA-1 Coil-Overs. Brakes: Stopping power is provided by Wilwood 13 drilled and slotted discs with 6-piston calipers in front and 4 pistons in the rear. A Hydra-Tech hydro boost works with the DSE Series 600 Power Steering pump and creates instant stopping power for all those pistons. A Wilwood reservoir provides the brake fluid. Fuel System: A Detroit Speed & Engineering 1000 HP stainless steel 19-gallon fuel tank with twin submerged Aeromotive fuel pumps send fuel via stainless steel lines to the engine. A Cadillac CTS fuel control in the trunk perfectly regulates fuel flow and eliminates the need for a fuel return system. An Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator keeps the pressure at a consistent 45 PSI at the fuel injection rails and an Aeromotive cannister style fuel filter traps any contaminants. Fuel Injection: The Fuel Air Spark Technology (FAST) Fuel injection is electronically controlled by their XFI 2.0 ECU and is assisted by an O2 sensor in the exhaust stream. An Idle Air Controller (IAC) makes starting automatic without any application of the throttle. Interior: The interior is mainly a new version of the original stock 69 Z-28 interior but with some modern yet subtle upgrades. A Flaming River tilt steering column replaced the original and a custom wood and chrome steering wheel with Chevys crossed flag racing emblem has been added. The floor pans, firewall, and door panels were all stripped, painted, then lined with sound deadening Dynamat before new carpet and new door panels were attached. Black Lokar drilled billet door handles and window cranks add a modern touch. The original console was replaced with a new one. Autometer gauges replaced the old “idiot indicators and are set inside a 4-position carbon fiber gauge cluster. Billet sill plates by Ring Brothers replaced the originals and add a very impressive look to the interior. Billet door vents and billet strikers were also added. Wheels and Tires: A custom version of Boze Alloys “Fatal wheels measure 17X8 in front and 17X12 in the rear. New Michelin Pilot Sport II tires are 245X35 in front with huge 335X35s in back. Special Billet Touches: Billet hood hinges by Detroit Speed & Engineering hold the original cowl hood firmly in place and compliment the engine bay. Billet door handles by Ring Brothers add an impressive look to the doors. Billet marker light housings replace the original plastic housings and create a much cleaner look to the front and rear fenders. Billet taillight housings by Marquez Design replace the original plastic housings and completely transform the look of the car from behind. Billet hinges secure the trunk lid and sequential LED brake lights and turn signals add modern function and look to the car. The incredible amount of thought, custom work, and custom parts make this Camaro a beautiful one of a kind representation of what many have said is Chevrolets greatest body design of all time. Attention Corvette Colletors! For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette. This is a rare one and deserves your full attention. This Corvette is heavily optioned and is all original aside from one repaint in the original Goodwood Green with white Stinger. The odometer shows 28,488 and is believed to be original considering how well preserved the car is, however cannot be verified and is listed as unknown. Powered by the original Tri-Power 427 producing 400 horsepower and backed up by the original M-21 Muncie close ratio 4-speed. Almost every box was checked when this car was ordered from the St. Louis plant. In addition to the stout Tri-Power 427, A/C was checked(rare), Speed Warning indicator, Headrest, Telescopic steering, Power steering, Power brakes, Side exhaust, and an AM/FM radio. Original tank sticker comes with the car! A/C is without question the most sought-after option on this car. The 400 horse Tri-Power was the most powerful engine available with Air Conditioning. The 435 horse L-71 and 430 horse L-88 were both high RPM solid lifter engines and revved too high for the A/C compressor. Secondly, when selecting the L-88, you really wouldnt care about an option like A/C, this was a showroom ready race car. The 400 horse Tri-Power you see here is also a more street friendly engine when compared to its big brother. Less maintenance and more torque at lower RPMs. Its clear that this was the business mans super car! Description:

This 1942 Ford Coupe Super Deluxe is for sale in our Louisville showroom. 1942 Is a special year for Ford as they halted their car and truck production line in preparation for WWII production. There was a short run of cars produced up until February 10th 1942 that were sold to the general public and it would be the last batch until July of 45 for the 46 model year. This 1942 Super Deluxe Coupe is all an unrestored survivor with its 221 CID v8 and 3 speed column shift manual transmission. The Ford Flathead produced a stout 90 hp from the factory and some Edelbrock heads have been added to give some better airflow. This pre war icon rolled into our showroom showing 90,800 miles on the clock. The original electrical system has been switched out for a 12 volt system. While she has already seen some years and could tell many stories, she is sure to be ready for more. The exterior is sporting its original chrome and the black paint is in true survivor status with patina to show its many years of hard work and dependability. The original “Mohair interior is in good shape and brings you back to a simpler time before luxury meant leather everywhere you look. While Fords focus may have shifted to cheaper government and military supply vehicles, they did not slouch their final year before the WWII production take over. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver is proud to welcome this Black 6 Speed Manual C5 Corvette! Back ground on the C5. The C5 (1997- 2004) was the most completely redesigned Corvette since the Corvettes inception in 1953. Production of the C5 Corvette actually began in 1996 but quality/manufacturing issues saw its release to the public in mass delayed until 1997, and continuing through the 2004 model year. The C5 was a completely new design that featured many new concepts and manufacturing breakthroughs that would be carried forward to the C6 & C7. It had a top speed of 176 mph (283 km/h) and was judged by the automotive press as a breakthrough with vastly improved dynamics in nearly every area over the previous C4 design. The list of all new innovations include: • Industry leading 0.29 drag coefficient • Near 50/50 weight distribution (actually 51%F/49%R) due to the all new powertrain layout • The first Corvette to actually use an upper rear suspension arm, instead of the drive shafts performing double duty as the upper locator arm • An all new chassis design that was more akin to a stressed monocoque than the former ladder designs which featured an all new stressed center tunnel design for increased torsional rigidity • All new hyrdoformed side rails increased torsional rigidity more than 4 times that of the C4 and previous Corvette generations • All new suspension geometries, in which the actual chassis widths and lengths were changed to affect the track and wheelbase dimensions. This was in contrast to simply changing the location of a mounting point that may not truly affect chassis geometry • All new production of a rear mounted transmission, including a torque(drive)shaft from the front of the engine to the rear transmission • Reduction of over 1,000 parts from the previous C4 • All new, never before seen active handling (it was the first ever stability control for a Corvette, and not just traction control for the 98/99 - 2004) • Lower weight (3,219 lbs) compared to C4 (Note: this weight for the 97-99 model years for the base coupe was still lighter than the C6 that replaced it) • Greatly improved quality • Improved fuel economy • Magna-Steer electronic power steering assistance • First ever staggered tire size (for production Corvettes), with smaller sizes in the front than the rear. This was done to improve CD. • First ever twin fuel tanks, one behind each seat, aided the packaging of the C5; it, along with virtually all of the C5s innovations have been incorporated in the C6 & C7 models as well. • First ever dual durometer suspension bushings to improve ride quality without sacrificing cornering grip and vehicle handling dynamics • Large trunk was purposefully designed to accommodate two full golf bags • First ever bonding to frame for body panels manufacturing in Corvette production history • Super stiff chassis (24-25 Hz) made primarily of hydroformed steel. Starting with the C5 Z06, and then carried through the C6 and C7 models the chassis tunnel cover thickness was increased to aid rigidity from the relatively thin Base C5. The C6 tunnel plate actually mounts perfectly to the C5 model for an easy upgrade. Note: The C7 has adjusted some of its welding patterns and thickness points to. • ALL new LS1 aluminum engine (Gen III small block); it featured individual ignition coils for each cylinder (instead of a distributor and a single coil), aluminum block and pistons, a very deep skirt design for increased durability, and many other technical and manufacturing innovations. This third-generation small block V8s complete redesign also featured a new cylinder firing order to improve idle and rev smoothness. It was initially rated at 345 bhp and 350 lb?ft, The new engine, combined with the new body and its low 0.29 drag coefficient, was able to achieve up to 28 mpg on the highway (Source WikipediA) Dont miss your opportunity to own a piece of American made muscle in our Denver Showroom. Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1981 Ford Shay Model A. Back in the late 70s and early 80s it seems that the automotive world was flooded with replicas of every make and model, from Auburns to Zimmers you had it all. Harry Shay, the man behind the Model A Motor Car Reproduction Corporation, saw a gap in the market and stepped up to the plate. Shay had probably one of the best marketing strategies ever seen, which was to send a replica to every Ford dealer in network. This idea caught like wildfire and the publicity was incredible, from showroom walk-in traffic to being a featured prize on The Price is Right it was hard to miss and ad for a shay in the early 80s. This particular Shay is yello and has a black cloth convertible top. Under the hood is the Ford 2.3L I-4 mated to an automatic 4-speed transmission. This daily driven Shay gets attention wherever it goes and turns heads at every car show. The interior has been done in black vinyl including the rumble seat. Description:

Go Pack(ard) GO!!!! We have an awe inspiring 1950 Packard Deluxe 8. This is decked out to commemorate the Green Bay Packers. It features a 288 Straight 8 with a Chrysler Torqueflight 727 3 speed automatic transmission which transfers power back to a 1952 Packard rear axle featuring a 3:55 gear ratio. It also has an FM chip installed in the radio to allow FM stations to come through on the factory radio. Take this beauty tailgating to all the games, you will not be disappointed in the amount of heads that will turn while driving this beauty! Although the postwar Packards sold well, the ability to distinguish expensive models from lower-priced models disappeared as all Packards, whether sixes or eights, became virtually alike in styling. Further, amid a booming sellers market, management had decided to direct the company more to volume middle-class models, thus concentrating on selling lower-priced cars instead of more expensive--and more profitable--models. Worse, they also tried to enter the taxi cab and fleet car market. The idea was to gain volume for the years ahead, but that target was missed: Packard simply was not big enough to offer a real challenge to the Big Three, and lacked the deep pockets with which a parent company could shelter them, as well as the model lineup through which to spread the pricing. As a result, Packards image as a luxury brand was further eroded. As Packard lost buyers of expensive cars, it could not find enough customers for the lesser models to compensate. The shortage of raw materials immediately after the war--which was felt by all manufacturers--hurt Packard more with its volume business than it would have had it had focused on the specialty luxury car market. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1950 Packard Deluxe 8 in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to offer a super clean 1974 Grand Prix Model J. There is a class of vehicle which is becoming more and more difficult to find: original and unrestored. With the popularity of resto-mods, or complete frame off restorations, there are fewer and fewer survivors out there. This particular 1974 Pontiac Grand Prix is an unrestored car with 54,986 original miles. The engine and trans are original and believed to have never been out of the car. It has the 400 CID V8 and an automatic which run and shift beautifully. The exterior is green which is in surprising great shape for the age of the vehicle. Needless to say, most mid 70s muscle cars have either been wrapped around trees or rusted to pieces. It great to see such a well-preserved piece of Pontiac history. Opening the door is like stepping back in time. The green upholstery is in wonderful condition as is the dash and steering wheel. This was a high line vehicle in the 70s, so its loaded with all the goodies: Air Conditioning, AM/FM/Cassette, power steering, power brakes, and even power windows! Whether youre a Pontiac collector, or just entering the classic car hobby, this cream puff 1974 Grand Prix Model J would be a great addition to any collection. Description:

For sale in our Scottsdale Showroom is this 1979 VW Beetle convertible with a Fuel Injected engine and 5 speed transmission. The 1979 model year was the last year for the convertible Beetle which makes this car even more desirable. There were many upgrades done to the Beetle throughout its long production history and this car incorporates many of those improvements. The Bosch electronic fuel injection on this car insures easy starting in all weather and increases horsepower and gas mileage. The Macpherson strut front suspension gives this Beetle better handling and ride than earlier models. Unlike many vintage VWs that have had questionable and not always beneficial “modifications done, this Bug is just as the engineers at Volkswagen who designed these cars intended. The body looks original on this car and is in good shape. The car has had a repaint at some point which looks fantastic and the glass is in solid condition as well. The soft top has no tears and works well, and the back glass is good, the black interior is also in good condition. There is a Sony AM/FM/CD player in the dash that works great to play your favorite tunes. This car runs, drives and shifts as it should and is ready to take you on your next open road adventure, so put the top down, let the sun shine and let the good times roll in this classic VW Beetle convertible! Remember yesterdays thinkers are todays buyers so dont wait.
