Description:

The second-generation Pontiac Firebird was produced between 1970 and 1981 and saw some radical changes in power during the EPA influenced decade. In 1971, the legendary 455cid engine first became available in the Trans Am model. Output from the 455HO was rated at 335hp. The option was discontinued after 1976 for Trans Am and Formula models and by 1979, the best-selling year ever for the Trans Am, the 6.6 (400cid) power plant was restricted to 220hp. The owner of this mean green 1979 Formula decided to set things right by sourcing a 1975 455cid motor mated to a TH400 automatic transmission and stock posi differential. The owner reports 2,000 miles since the rebuild that includes a high-flow water pump, 7qt oil pan, 850 quadra jet carb, new valves, guides & seals and pistons. Add an upgraded front suspension, new disc brake system components, fuel tank and a serious sound system and this ride is complete. This beautiful 1979 Pontiac Firebird Formula is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is fired up in presenting this custom brown and tan 1937 Dodge Sedan Delivery at its Milwaukee Showroom. The 1937 Sedan Delivery model was largely based on a passenger car frame but nothing about this stunning build stayed anywhere close to original. This stunning hot road was treated to a full frame-off build in 2014. This amazing machine features a 318 cubic inch Chrysler LA small block bolted up to a 4-speed manual transmission. This mighty V8 which had its top end rebuilt by Cool Hand Customs LLC, screams through a set of long tube headers that come out to short side pipes. This makes for an aggressive exhaust note and a real tone setter of the hot rod nature of this beast. All lines are custom bent copper. Additional features include Wilwood front disc brakes, aluminum fuel cell and a Be Cool one-piece radiator. The hand-crafted bodywork and gorgeous paint are show quality. Done in a tasteful Safari Beige and Cream, both the interior and exterior finishes combine vintage and modern hot rod elements. The interior shows very well featuring a matching metal flake paint that runs in the interior floorboards alongside oak wood floors and oak wood paneling coming up do custom made rear seats with cloth upholstery. To tell any potential buyer that purchasing this will set them apart from the crowd or that this is one of a kind is truly an understatement. This 1937 Dodge Sedan Delivery is available at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in person, it can be seen at our Milwaukee Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144. Description:

We are trilled to offer to for sale in our Saint Louis Showroom this Chesterfield Brown 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Accenting the Chesterfield Brown exterior is the tan phoenix, or screaming chicken depending on who you talk to, and the Camel Tan vinyl interior. The paint was resprayed at some point and shines with pride. The vinyl interior is believed to be original, it has aged very well, showing little signs of wear and aging. Powering this 78’ Trans Am is a W72 6.6L 400 4BBL V8, which is believed to be the original engine it rolled off the assembly line with. The W72 400 V8 was more powerful than the standard L78 by at least 20 horserpower. The 3-speed automatic transmission is also believed to be original and shifts the power to the rear end beautifully. The 2nd generation of GM/Pontiac’s F-Body vehicles hosted an array of impressive body lines, eye-opening powertrain, and new options for over a decade (1970-1981), and this specific arrival is a shining example of why the 2nd generation held such a lengthy tenure. The odometer on this T/A reads 1,574, which has rolled over, and the actual mileage is believed to be 101,574. Options for this 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am include: Air Conditioning (inoperable), AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Cruise Control, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, and Rally Wheels. This is a PHS documentated 78’ Trans Am that has been maintained, cared for, and runs and drives incredibly well. To view this 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom. For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1962 Chevrolet Corvette. This 1962 resto mod Corvette for sale is the Bomb! Do the kids still say that? Off the hook? OH, you get the point. This incredible Corvette is sitting on a full custom tubular frame and has the best of everything bolted to it. Where to start? Ok, here we go. Once upon a time there was a man who had a full bank account and now, he owns a Corvette! I Happen to believe that the 1962 Corvette is one of the best-looking cars every built however, by today’s standards they really did not handle very well, were not that fast, rode hard and trying to steer one at slow speeds in a parking lot took both hands. So, imagine a 1962 Corvette sitting on a modern frame with up to date suspension and braking, well keep imagining, bolted to the front section of this frame is of course none other than an LS1 5.7 liter Chevrolet V8, backing this modern marvel is GM 6 speed manual transmission to give you full control of the gears. OK now drop the 1962 Corvette for sale body on top of this and stuff the interior full of things like, leather seats, AM/FM with CD player, Air conditioning and Billet Specialties steering wheel, Power windows, you know, options you might find on your average 1962 Chevrolet Corvette for sale in 2018. OK, you have looked at the photos of this car many times, you have watched the video until you can remember everything about it and now you are reading the description looking for just a little more information so here you go, buy this car, it is the bee’s knees, neato, far out and just plain cool as, well you get the point. Options for this incredible Resto Modded 1962 Chevrolet Corvette Include: Air conditioning, Power, windows, steering and brakes, Custom chrome wheels, AM/FM CD player and leather interior to name just a few. For more information call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or email us at nashville@gatewayclassiccars.com

Description:

The year is 2002, George Bush creates the Department of Homeland Security on June 7th to fight threats of terrorism, The Winter Olympic Games are held in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States, while this 35th Anniversary Convertible Camaro SS rolls off the assembly line. Since then she has only accumulated 29760 miles on her. This LS1 powered Camaro is a blast to drive, especially with the 6-speed manual. The fourth-generation Camaro debuted in 1993 on an updated F-body platform. It retained the same characteristics since its introduction in 1967: a coupé body style with 2+2 seating (with an optional T-top roof) or convertible (reintroduced in 1994), rear-wheel drive, pushrod 6-cylinder and V8 engines. The standard powerplant from 1993-1995 was a 3.4 L V6, then a 3.8 L V6 was introduced in 1995. A 350 CID Small Block V-8 engine, which was introduced in the Corvette in 1992, was standard in the Z28. Optional equipment included all-speed traction control and a new six-speed T-56 manual transmission; the 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission was standard on the Z28, yet optional on the V6 models which came with 5-speed manual as standard. Anti-lock brakes were standard equipment on all Camaros. A limited quantity of the SS version (1996-1997) came with the 330 HP small block engine from the Corvette, although most were equipped with the 305 HP. The 1997 model year included a revised interior, and the 1998 models included exterior styling changes, and a switch to GMs aluminum block LS1 used in the Corvette C5. In 1998, the 5.7 L LS1 was the first all-aluminum engine offered in a Camaro since the 1969 ZL-1 and carried a 325-horsepower rating. The SS versions (1998-2002) received slightly improved exhaust and intake systems, bigger wheels and tires, a slightly revised suspension for improved handling and grip while retaining ride comfort, an arc-shaped rear wing for downforce, and different gearing ratios for faster acceleration, over the Z28 models. Chevrolet offered a 35th anniversary edition for the 2002 model year. Production of the F-Body platform was discontinued due to slowing sales, a deteriorating market for sports coupés, and plant overcapacity, but an entirely new platform went on sale in 2009. The B4C Special Service Package for police agencies was carried over from the 3rd generation & sold between 1993-2002. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to offer an amazing 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle. This is not your Grandmas Beetle. This little blue rocket has been completely built from the ground up. The 73 V-Dub was completely disassembled, stripped to the bare floor pan. The body was reassembled and aligned and coated in a stunning coat of metallic blue. This Bug features its original 1,600cc Dual Port Flat Four. The engine has been completely rebuilt and features tons of new goodies. It breathes in through a new Bocar one barrel carburetor, and is equipped with a Bosch coil as well as Bosch wires. The engine is dressed in chrome for a show car finish when you pop the bonnet. The exhaust is just rowdy enough and resonates the distinct VW flat four sound. Perhaps the most impressive part of the whole car is the underside. The pans are painted, and the undercarriage is a clear indicator of the time spent rebuilding this Beetle. To dress up the outside, the car now rides on 15 EMPI chrome wheels. The front end even features disc brakes to further modernize the car. The interior is rather jazzy as it lights up with blue LED lighting as soon as the door is opened. The front seats are sporty racing buckets, and the car has functional seat belts for all passengers. The list of work on this Beetle goes on and on. It has been built to be a reliable, fun to drive show car. This is a great way to enter the classic car hobby, or to expand your existing VW collection. You can see this 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle in greater detail in our Chicago showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 708-444-4488 or chicago@gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

We have an awesome 1963 Willys Jeepster for sale here in the Milwaukee showroom. This is a truly fantastic restoration of a military vehicle. It is coated in an era correct Olive Drab paint with all emblems, features a 4-cylinder motor with a 3-speed manual transmission and with 4x4 high and low gearing. This was a complete restoration registered with the MVPA and is Parade ready! You will not be disappointed by this incredible military vehicle. The Jeep legend began in November 1940, in the early days of World War II, just a year before the United States entered the war. A small, four-wheel drive prototype, the Willys Quad, was delivered to the US Army. It featured the Willys Go-Devil engine, developed by Delmar Barney Roos. With 60 horsepower and 105 foot-pounds of torque it not only exceeded the Armys requirement, but dwarfed the Bantams 83 and Fords 85 pound-feet of torque, its only competitors for the military contract. The Quad was the father of the MB, CJ series, and Wrangler. Willys refined the Quad and built 1,500 units of the Willys MA model, many of which were used in WWII. From 1941 to 1945 Willys produced the MB model, the original go-anywhere, do-anything vehicle, which came to be known by its nickname, Jeep. Made famous during WWII, Willys produced over 300,000 MB vehicles. Jeeps were heavily used by every division of the American military, with 144 Jeeps provided to every infantry regiment in the U.S. Army. Large numbers of Jeeps were shipped to the Allied Forces of Britain and Russia: nearly 30% of total Jeep production. The MB evolved into the M-38 military model, which featured a waterproof ignition system and was built from 1950 to 1951 specifically for use during the Korean War. During that conflict, Willy redesigned the M-38 and it became the M-38A1 with a longer wheelbase, softer ride, a more powerful engine and a new, more rounded body style. In production through 1962, during that time Willys also produced the M-170, which was designed to be fitted with several different body packages. One was a light troop carrier. Because passengers were somewhat enclosed compared to earlier models, the M-170 was also used as a field ambulance. This beautifully restored 1963 Willys Jeepster is for sale in our Milwaukee Showroom and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com; call (262) 891-4253 or email us at milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com for additional information.

Description:

Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this extremely cool 1926 Ford Model T. Between the extensive powertrain work and original sheet metal, this car is a clean example of a Model T. Under the hood of this American icon is a 2.9-liter inline four-cylinder engine that was good for roughly 20 horsepower when new. The engine is paired to a 2-speed planetary gear transmission and great for small town cruising. The engine and transmission were both rebuilt roughly 2,000 miles ago so there are plenty of miles left in the old beauty. The power that screams from this car is driven through the Ruxtell 2-speed rear axle and is stopped by the Rocky Mountain brakes. You may not compete against the Camaros, and Mustangs on the road but this very well may be one of the quicker Model T’s I’ve seen. Moving inward, the interior of this car is barren with no modern amenities or luxuries. When this car was produced, it was meant to be a cheap means of transportation for the masses with little to no focus on comfort or styling. The condition of the interior on this T is very good, and is no doubt aided in staying that way, because the car comes with with 100% accurate side curtains and tonneau cover. The exterior of this T is finished in black and green to keep a clean classic look. The paint is in very good condition and highlights the cars curves and style. Laying beneath the paint is the original sheet metal from when the car was new almost 100 years ago. Overall the condition of this T is very nice, and this would make an excellent weekend toy or parade car!
