Description:

1965 CHEVROLET CORVETTE 396 ROADSTER for sale. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this awesome 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster featured in Marlboro Maroon with white interior. Powered by Chevrolets 396cid/425hp 4bbl L78 V8 with 4-speed manual gearbox, this car is the most potent of the 1965 Corvette range. Factory options include matching removable hard top, whitewall tires, knock-off wheels, teakwood steering wheel, telescopic steering wheel, power brakes, side exhaust, and AM/FM radio. This car was the subject of a complete nut & bolt restoration about ten years ago, and it won Bloomington Gold in 2010. Of course all numbers match. While we see many mid-year Corvettes, this car is exceptional in fit and finish. The gaps are the best we have seen and the doors close with a reassuring thunk. It is likely that the car did not look as good when it left the factory and it still presents in concours condition. If you are looking to invest in a C2 Corvette, this car deserves your serious attention.

2003 Porsche 911 GT2

When Porsche replaced the 993 generation of the 911 with the all new 996 generation they certainly gave the model a complete rethink. After abandoning air-cooling in favor of more traditional and common water cooling the engineers also spent time giving the 911 a broader appeal.

One such example is the GT2. During the 993 production run the GT2 model was a seriously stripped out 911 Turbo employing rear wheel drive in order to continue to shed weight. What was left was little more than a street legal race-car. After spending more than two years developing the 996 GT2 Porsche decided to let most all of the creature comforts remain, including power everything, climate control and leather interior. The result is really a car that can be used everyday but still manages to carry a power to weight ratio unlike anything else on the market in it's day.

The 996 GT2 still offered unparalleled performance with nearly 476 bhp pushing just 3k lbs down the road. This car also featured Carbon Ceramic Braking technology; a first for Porsche on a road car, and the unmistakable large fixed rear wing and massive front apron.

The 996 GT2 finally offered the driving and ownership experience worthy of the top step in the 911 family. The model has remained there during subsequent generations of the car including the 997 and 991's.

The car we offer here has covered just over 8,000 miles in its lifetime. It has been expertly cared for wearing all original paint throughout and an interior free of wear or blemishes. The car starts easily and settles into a comfortable idle almost immediately. Once warm you can feel the car wanting to pull very hard in any gear. The car feels light and ridiculously strong. You'll want to put heat into those tires and brakes before testing the car's insane limits. This model is free of guardian angels like stability control; so be aware!! The drive is thrilling with this one. The investment grade of this model valued by condition, low miles and low production numbers (fewer than 1300 worldwide and fewer than 325 sold in the US) make this a blue chip collectible. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to present this superb 1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350H. Production of GT-350’s began in 1965 at Shelby American in airplane hangers at Los Angeles Airport. To gain greater recognition and increased sales, in 1966 Shelby collaborated with The Hertz Corporation to produce 999 Shelby’s for the Hertz Sports Car Rental Club. Theses GT-350H’s- along with other high-performance cars- rented for $19.95 daily. Shelby/Hertz cars were not produced again until 2006 and 2016. This Shelby GT-350H (VIN # SFM6s-976) is 1 of only 60 produced in Red. It originally shipped to Marshall Motor Company in Mayfield Heights, Ohio in February 1966 for the ultimate delivery to the Hertz Corporation location in Cleveland Ohio. It was equipped with Hertz Club Special Wheels, radio and brake booster at a total cost of $3793.84. With 54,333 presumed original miles and Shelby Registry documentation (pages 755 and 487), it comprises original, date code correct and NOS mechanics, engine, interior and body parts. Most recently, during 2012-2014 it underwent a $30,000 refresh by renowned Shelby experts to upgrade a significant number of cosmetic and mechanical items necessary for concours Shelby and Mustang Club judging. The car retains mostly original sheet metal, has the original and rare framed fiberglass hood and functional side scoops. The black interior is all original except the carpeting and headliner and is in excellent condition. The 289 Hi-Po 306 horsepower engine is original and is coupled with a 3-speed automatic transmission (95% of Hertz cars were equipped with automatic transmissions). The detailed engine compartment maintains the original factory look down to the overspray on the firewall and messy looking black caulking where the inner and outer front seems come together. This Shelby has won awards at National and local MCA events. Authentic, original Hertz cars in this color combo and condition with proper documentation are becoming increasingly hard to find. Included is a copy of the Shelby Registry, Shelby Registry serial number Verification Letter, copies of original Bill of Sale, Transmittal Letter to Hertz, Shipping Documentation, Radio Installation Record, prior owner Title, GT-350 and 1966 Ford Owners manuals. This 1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350H is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this iconic 1958 Volkswagen Samba 23 Window Bus for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. In the world of vintage VW buses, its all about the number of windows; prior to 1963, Kombi buses (base models) came with 11 windows, the Deluxe buses came with 15 and Samba buses like this one added a large canvas roof and 8 additional skylight windows to the top of the vehicle giving a total of 23. Built on VW Beetle mechanics, all VW buses including this one feature a rear-mounted air cooled 4 cylinder engine tied to a 4-speed manual transmission. The color combination on this VW bus is two-tone “Mouse Gray and White exterior paint with Tan wool/cloth interior seating for 8 passengers and carpet making for a calming and classy look. The restoration was completed over a long period of time and the bus is owned by a prominent VW collector who has several other buses besides this one. As for the elephant in the room, anyone who follows the collector car market knows how much money these 23 Window buses have brought at auction. According to Hagarty, these early 21 and 23 Windows remain incredibly popular and highly valuable even with millennials, who make up 20% of VW bus buyers. This is a trend we are not seeing with other cars in the 6-figure+ collector car market and a cause to be confident about investing in one of these now rather than waiting. Driving or riding in a restored VW bus like this instantly puts you in a vacation mindset- you can shut off from the world around you that is increasingly reliant on technology and enjoy a true driving experience in this simple and cheerful VW. Call our helpful and knowledgeable Sales staff today by dialing (623) 900-4884 for more information on this 1958 Volkswagen Samba 23 Window Bus for sale. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is ecstatic to feature this wild 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. Well, ok, its not REALLY a Roadrunner- at least not underneath the surface anyway. This vehicle is a unique mating of a 1969 Roadrunner body and a 2017 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack running gear, interior, engine and transmission that was painstakingly assembled and adjusted over two years. The 2017 Challenger was a salvaged vehicle with around 4,300 miles on the powertrain but only the body was damaged on the car. Better yet, this Road-Challenger (call it whatever you want- thats what Im going with!) comes with a clean branded, 1969 Plymouth title. Painted in “Vitamin C Orange with Matte Black Rallye Stripes on the hood, this amazing build just keeps getting better when you take into account all the details. The 20 inch chrome wheels, satellite antenna on the roof, “392 air-brushed graphics on the hood scoops and air intake through the driver side front lights hint at whats hiding below. Otherwise its hard to tell what youre looking at from the outside, especially with the correct Roadrunner stickers and badges in place. Open and close the doors with your modern keyless entry remote and youll notice that they fit much like a new vehicle. The door trim itself is a custom transition between old and new and once youre in the Challenger Orange/Black buckets you are transported to the 21st Century. From here, its modern Mopar with a familiar layout that includes a functional 8.4 inch Uconnect touch screen infotainment system and a long list of creature comforts you wouldnt get in a classic car. You can even operate remote engine start on this Road-Challenger! Have you ever lamented the demise of vent windows? They are available on this one-of-a-kind build! I havent even covered whats powering this Road-Challenger, because theres nothing to complain about there. The Challenger 6.4l Hemi (392 CID) V8 making 500hp and 470lb ft of torque is tied to an 8-speed automatic transmission. With the performance that modern engineering is putting out, its a no brainer to combine it with classic muscle car styling. This ones all done and ready to show off! Give us a call today for more information on this 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner- an epic Mopar marriage of old and new. Alternatively, sending an email inquiry to scottsdale@gatewayclassiccars.com is a great way to get in touch directly. Dont see all the photos and video footage youre looking for? Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Indianapolis is proud to present this 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR Replica! Looks close and read twice before turning your nose up at this beauty. Every bit of this build was meant to produce style, performance, and excitement. Carrol Shelby would have appreciated many aspects of this build if he had the todays technology at hand when building these. In Shelby fashion we will talk business end first. Under the hood is a 427 side oiler built up to a 482 CID with a heart thumping 575HP. The internals of this bad boy are all high end to satisfy whatever cravings your right foot might have. Two Holley 750 carburetors sit on top for killer looks and performance. Something we love and you will appreciate is having AC on this high performing machine. There is a Griffin radiator with electric fans to keep that 482 cool, and Sanderson long tube headers with MagnaFlow mufflers to give you that just loud enough growl. The looks, sound, and performance of this 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR Replica live up to the King of the Road icon. There are many great things about replicas in todays market. First, you get the looks of the real thing. Second, you dont pay real price. Third, modern technology and equipment can be used guilt free to make for a more pleasant experience. That is truly the remarkable thing about this vehicle. With the TKO600 5 speed manual transmission and 325 gears you can cruise at highway speed, or hammer down in first gear for a showstopping car show entrance or exit! Additional modern touches include Heidts 4 link suspension and coil over shocks. Slowing down thing are 4 wheel Wilwood disc brakes. Although much of the build is not what an original may have had, the interior will give the sensation of an original. Thats worth a lot. You have a car that can be worked on and driven GUILT FREE. With the vision of the build there is very little that is overlooked, and this car is turn key for your enjoyment. Think long and hard, but dont wait long to make this beautiful 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR Replica yours! Description:

Our Detroit Showroom is proud to offer this rare and extremely clean 1986 Porsche 911 Turbo. Wrapped in Black over Black Leather, this is one car that cannot be mistaken for any other. There was a time where auto makers stuck to what made them unique and gave them their reputation and this specific Porsche 930 was exactly that upon its release. This 911 Turbo is clocking just shy of 60k Original Miles! The 1986 Porsche Turbo was the first year of its return when they were pulled off the shelfs in late 1979 due to federal emissions standards and a fuel crisis had just about squeezed the life out of awesome cars. While there was time between the 2 models there looks remain similar, so the question is why change something that was stunning to begin with? That is why Porsche engineers stuck to their roots with this 911. The 911 Turbo air-cooled flat six was basically the same as one that tantalized us so much back in 1979. The turbocharged and inter-cooled power plant still displaces 3.3 liters, and such details as its bore, stroke, and compression ratio remained as well. Whats the difference you ask? Twenty-nine more horses, fatter tires, and six years of chassis development could only make things dreamy . This Porsche sports its original turbocharged and inter-cooled flat-6, aluminum block and heads. The engine displacement is 201 cubic inches or 3299cc that pumps out an impressive 282 hp @ 5500 rpm and torque comes in at 278 lb-ft @ 4000 rpm. This Porsche is definitely worth collecting and the market has proven such. If you are looking for a stunning collector that has left its footprint in automotive history, this is your golden ticket. Check out this Porsche on our website, www.GatewayClassicCars.com or call to speak with one of our friendly and knowledgeable associates at 313.982.3100. Description:

Check out this piece of American history! This 1965 Shelby Daytona continuation car built in 2015 by Superformance has around 3,500 miles since it was built and looks just as nice as the day it was finished. The Shelby Daytona was built to compete against Ferrari in 1964-1965 and took a few respectable titles. This Guardsman blue with Wimbledon white stripes is the classic Daytona look and is powered by a 351W that was stroked to a 427 putting out plenty of power. Hooked up behind this small block Ford is a Tremec 5-speed manual and transfers it all back to the bullet-proof 9” rear end. Once inside this Daytona is when you can start noticing subtle differences hinting to the fact it is a continuation car including power windows and power locks, air conditioning, and firm leather seats. As you fire up the 427 and set off on your drive, you will be amazed at how streetable this car is. When driving it like a normal driver it is smooth and comfortable ride, but as you start to push it, the racing pedigree starts to show and is very entertaining! The continuation series Daytona coupe is one of very limited ever made and is sure to stay a hot commodity with plenty of room for appreciation. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1965 Shelby Daytona Coupe in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com.

This hardtop roadster offers a short wheelbase with rear wheel drive which is a ton of fun to drive. Description:

The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1972 MG MGB GT. This MG has been given a rebuild on the engine and transmission about 1000 miles ago by OFI classics. The 1800 engine and 5 speed transmission work well and will show you what British motor cars are all about. They are fun and get you connected to the road and the experience. The fixed-roof MGB GT was introduced in October 1965. Production continued until 1980, although export to the US ceased in 1974. The MGB GT sported a ground-breaking greenhouse designed by Pininfarina and launched the sporty hatchback style. By combining the sloping rear window with the rear deck lid, the B GT offered the utility of a station wagon while retaining the style and shape of a coupe. This new configuration was a 2+2 design with a right-angled rear bench seat and far more luggage space than in the roadster. Relatively few components differed, although the MGB GT did receive different suspension springs and anti-roll bars and a different windscreen which was more easily and inexpensively serviceable. Although acceleration of the GT was slightly slower than that of the roadster, owing to its increased weight, top speed improved by 5 mph to 105 mph because of better aerodynamics. Options include: Seat belts, radial tires, and vinyl interior, aluminum wheels and cloth interior. Description:

Built up right and ready to take whatever you throw at it! This beast of a Ranchero has had a great deal of time and money put into it to make it as reliable as possible and perform with the best. The Ford Ranchero was the first of its kind putting a bed on the same platform as the Ford’s popular sedan of the day and was first introduced back in 1957. This ranchero is part of the second generation which shares the same front end as the Ford Falcon. Sitting under the hood of this 1964 Ranchero is an engine that has helped solidify the Ford brand in the history books and has been rated as one of the top ten best engines of all time. The 351 Windsor was strong and capable of producing massive amounts of power. This 351 has a few performance parts on it including a lighter and better flowing aluminum intake and some dress up parts including finned aluminum valve covers and a polished aluminum air filter, and aluminum radiator. Putting this engine in the small Falcon platform is a huge upgrade from the factory 289 V8. With the extra horsepower in this vehicle a stronger transmission was necessary and to address this issue a David Kee built 4-speed top loader was installed that can easily handle the power of the larger V8. Keeping all of this power planted is a trick suspension set up including front and rear sway bars, brand new P-S-T Performance front end, Koni shocks on all four corners, traction bars, subframe connectors, Mustang GT front shock towers, and the upgraded 1965 Falcon steering linkage, all poly-graphite bushings, With all of these upgrades you can go into any corner with the upmost confidence. This Ranchero is not just performance orientated though; the interior was upgraded to a very cushy baseball glove leather interior that provides a comfortable ride even on the bumpy roads. The premium stereo system is clear and will blow you away while listening to your favorite classic hits. This 1964 Ranchero is an excellent cruiser and, if you are looking for something that is practical yet fun and reliable this may be the perfect classic for you! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1964 Ford Ranchero in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

This 1984 El Camino is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The El Camino is not really a truck yet not really a car but something in between. It has had the hearts and imagination of many since its release in the late 50’s. They gained popularity in the mid-sixties but really came on strong in the 80’s. Most recently many have taken these trucks/cars and put stronger engines making them a lot more fun to drive. This 84 has done just that with a hopped up small block 350 under the hood. The motor sounds great and is a lot more than the original 305 ever thought about being. The 350 Engine and transmission were built and installed about 4000 miles ago, so there is plenty of life left in this drivetrain. Allowing the exhaust to flow is a new set of manifolds as well as a true dual exhaust setup from the manifolds back. With new brake lines, master cylinder, calipers, and wheel cylinders this thing will stop as good as it goes. With the cooling system new as well you should have no issues with overheating and be confident when cruising in traffic. The rubber molding around the around the windows was replaced as well with it still being in great condition. The interior of the car is original and appears to be in great shape with no major signs of wear. If you have been wanting to get a up and coming car but thought about a truck as well this could be the great compromise between the two. Options on this 1984 Chevrolet El Camino include, AC, AM/FM/CD, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Power Locks, Tilt Steering, Seat Belts, and Radial Tires. Description:

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a sweet little 1961 Nash Metropolitan Convertible . With the cease of Nash sales in early 1962, this 61 Nash Metropolitan for sale is one rare economy car. This Nash Metropolitan for sale, is one of the very first economy cars and was only offered for sale in the U.S. and Canada from 1954-1962. Early in Nash history they shared a partnership with Hudson as well as Rambler, in the later years. Powering this little Metro is a 1.5 liter inline 4-cylinder engine. At only 1,785 lbs, the inline is more than enough to put some pep in this Nashs step. Backed by a manual 3-speed transmission, this Nash was recorded to consistently knock down 30-40 MPGs. With the 3-on-the-tree shifter, this car isnt only economical to drive, but is a blast too! The exterior is a vintage paint scheme of yellow and white. The light color scheme is full of nostalgia and takes you back in time to the 60s. With tiny steel wheels with hub caps and whitewall radial tires, this car is both cute and classy. Looking at the inside, youll be impressed with the room available. This Nash sports a Black and white cloth bench style front bench, which in itself suits the car well. This Nash convertible would make a great piece for anyone interested in vintage British collector cars or just wants an attention-grabbing piece of history. With a full-sized car feel, in a compact package, this car was green and economical before it was cool! This cute 1961 Nash for sale was sold with one thought in mind, to sell an economical and well-built car. The Metropolitan took the minimalist approach, which can be seen, only optioned with AM radio and vinyl/cloth interior. Look at the mono-speedometer/ gauge cluster, steel wheels with hub caps and wide whitewall tires! Small, lightweight, and easy to drive, its no wonder that the sales of this car were second in imports, to only Volkswagen. Not only is it easy to drive, but its a blast to drive. Look at this car and picture yourself going to the grocery store on Thursday, the cruise-in car show on Friday, and hitting the beach on Saturday! That dream is just one phone call away! A $237.37 document fee will be added to the sales price. All purchases may be subject to any applicable tax, title, & licensing fees. for more information please call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or e-mail us at Nashville@GatewayClassicCars.com

Prices for the Model A ranged from US$385 for a roadster to US$1400 for the top-of-the-line Town Car. The engine was a water-cooled L-head inline four with a displacement of 201 cu in (3.3 l).[6] This engine provided 40 hp (30 kW; 41 PS).[6] Top speed was around 65 mph (105 km/h). The Model A had a 103.5 in (2,630 mm) wheelbase with a final drive ratio of 3.77:1. The transmission was a conventional unsynchronized three-speed sliding gear manual with a single speed reverse. Description:

Only two owners on this cool and rare glass roof Town Coupe. The Marti report shows this Lincoln is the only one made in 1978 with these options. Including: 460-4V V8, C-6 automatic transmission, A/C, 8-track, vinyl roof, Dark Red Velour Comfort Lounge Seats, block heater, and the town coupe package. And as you can see from the dash this was originally a Canadian car. With 96,145 Km on the odometer, that equates to only 59,741 miles. This beauty has been meticulously cared for since day one. Now she is looking for a new home. For 1978, the dashboard was updated for the first time, as the Lincoln Continental adopted a revised version of the Mercury Grand Marquis dashboard. In addition to increasing parts commonality, the update was done to save weight; the plastic-frame Mercury dashboard was lighter than the previous steel-frame version. In a similar move, Lincoln redesigned the rear fender skirts, adopting a version that covered less of the rear wheels. Alongside the optional sliding glass sunroof, a fixed glass moonroof with an interior sunshade was introduced (for the first time since the 1955 Ford Skyliner) To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our Denver showroom.
