Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this sharp 2003 Ford Thunderbird. In 1955, the Thunderbird was revealed as a personal luxury car and changed over time until production ceased at the end of 1997. In 2002, Ford brought the Thunderbird back as a two-seat model that was available until the end of 2005, during its success Ford produced over 4.4 million Thunderbirds. The eleventh generation had the same two-seat coupe/convertible layout as the first generation as well as some of the same characteristics as was on the 55-57 T-Birds. Because the Thunderbird shared the same DEW98 platform as the Lincoln LS and Jaguar S-Type, they shared interior styling particularly in the dash area, instrument panel, steering wheel and a Jaguar designed AJ-30 3.9L DOHC V8. This particular model is hiding a 3.9L V8 FI DOHC 32V 280HP engine and a 5-speed automatic transmission under the hood. There were only a total of 14,678 Thunderbirds built in 2003, 1,728 of which were finished in the beautiful Desert Sky Blue exterior paint. The black/cream leather interior provides an excellent contrast to the bright blue exterior. This T-Bird comes with both the hard top, which is painted Desert Sky Blue to match the exterior, and a power soft top as well. You have the potential for 3 different looks, hard top coupe, soft top cabriolet, and 2 seat roadster, what more could you want? The odometer reads 34,099, which represents the actual mileage on the car. Options for this 2003 Ford Thunderbird include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Aluminum/Alloy Wheels, Anti-Lock Brakes, Anti-Theft System, Power Convertible Top, Cruise Control, Driver/Passenger Airbag, Leather Interior, Heated Seats, Power Brakes, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Mirrors, Power Steering, Power Windows, Radial Tires, Rear Window Defogger, Seatbelts, Tilt Wheel, and Traction Control. This car has a clean title, low miles, receipts for the maintained items, and has only had two owners. Do not miss out on the chance to add this car to your collection. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Nashville is proud to present this rugged and sharp looking 1918 Overland 85 four for sale! In 1918 the Willys-Overland 85-Four offered something its competitors lacked, and that was power, real snappy power that only comes from big valves and advanced for the time engine design ensuring a hot sure spark even at slow speeds! Now, before you hop in this 1918 Overland and start traveling to the local cruise-ins in style, youll have to learn how to drive it. Yes, this 1918 Overland 85-four is equipped with a manual transmission… but 1918 was before car controls were standardized and just because you know how to drive a Ford, didnt mean you could easily hop in another make and take off! This 1918 Willys-Overland exudes the pioneering spirit of early motoring and while by todays standards it seems fairly spartan with few options by todays standards, for the time it was very well equipped with features we take for granted like electric starting, electric lighting, a vacuum driven fuel system, and a spare tire mounted and ready to go! If you are looking to own a piece of American automotive history, this is the car for you! This 1918 Overland for sale in our Nashville showroom can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com for more information please call the showroom at 615-213-1800 or email us at nashville@gatewayclassiccars.com if you would like to see this car in person we welcome you to stop in our Nashville showroom at 320 Tech park Dr. Suite 600 La Vergne Tn 37086

Description:

1930 Ford Model A for sale in our Tampa Showroom is ready for its next owner. This beauty is painted in a Black paint with green pin striping scheme with green wire wheels to match. It looks great and runs just as good! The 4-cylinder engine and manual transmission still power this Model A down the road and a lot of new parts keep it running right. A 12-volt system has been updated, a new battery, new alternator, moto meter, new oil seal, rebuilt starter, and even the electrical wiring have been updated to make it more usable in today’s world. Options are limited but include cloth interior, wire wheels with hub caps, and bias ply tires. The Model A was the first Ford to use the standard set of driver controls with conventional clutch and brake pedals, throttle, and gearshift. Previous Fords used controls that had become uncommon to drivers of other makes. The Model As fuel tank was situated in the cowl, between the engine compartments fire wall and the dash panel. It had a visual fuel gauge, and the fuel flowed to the carburetor by gravity. A rear-view mirror was optional. In cooler climates, owners could purchase an aftermarket cast iron unit to place over the exhaust manifold to provide heat to the cab. A small door provided adjustment of the amount of hot air entering the cab. The Model A was the first car to have safety glass in the windshield. Almost 5 million Model A Fords were produced in 9 different body styles before it was replaced by the Ford Model B. This 1930 Ford Modal A is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Gateway Classic Cars welcomes this 1996 Chevrolet Corvette LT4 to its Dallas showroom for sale. This two owner 96 Corvette has been owned by the seller for the last 19 years. He has performed regular general maintenance to keep this Vette in good operating condition. Powered by the optional High Horsepower 350 V8 LT4 engine with the manual ZF 6-speed transmission. The LT4 cars are essentially Grand Sports in disguise, getting every top option you could get in a C4. The Grand Sport LT4, has an upgraded camshaft, aluminum high-flow heads, larger valves, higher compression pistons, high flow fuel injectors, and roller rocker arms. All of these factory upgraded parts were good for an extra 30 horse-power and 500 rpms tacked on to the redline. All in all this was a very fitting farewell for the longest production generation Corvette. This one in particular is a stealth Black on Black 6 speed Super Clean Grand Sport. The Deep Black paint is in excellent condition and shows like a Corvette with 22500 miles on the odometer. The removable Targa top is clean, and the Black leather is a nice complement to the exterior. The interior has been well kept and supports the low mileage. Options on this 1996 Chevrolet Corvette include; Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Cassette Player/CD Player, Removable Glass top, Keyless entry, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Seats, Power Windows, Power Mirrors, Anti-Lock Brakes, Traction Control, Tilt Wheel, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. Description:

For sale in our Detroit showroom is this highly collectable 1972 Chevrolet El Camino. The El Camino concept was created in 1959 in response to the popular Ford Ranchero and had a successful but brief 2-year run returning as the second-generation model in 1964. This third generation El Camino is equipped with a rebuilt 350 CID V8 engine that you can catch a glimpse of when the new cowl induction hood allows more air flow into the engine bay. Backing up this small block is a TH350 automatic transmission delivering power to a 12-bolt rear end with 4.11 gear ratio. It is becoming more unusual to see El Caminos on the road than ever before and they are prized by collectors for not only the great look but functionality of having a full pickup bed and the driving habits of a car. This example is one of the nicest you are sure to come across and features a very high quality paint job finished in Gloss White that was part of the recent restoration that also includes: new aluminum radiator, new water pump, new gas tank, new brakes, new cowl hood, new shocks, and new headers and exhaust pipes. On the inside you will notice a very original looking interior which has been replaced with new materials including the gauges, carpet, and seat upholstery. The black vinyl bench looks great in contrast to the white exterior. Options on this El Camino include power steering, power brakes, tilt wheel, vinyl interior, seat belts, and rally wheels with raised white letter radial tires. Description:

Over $300,000 invested into this one-off custom Bel-Air and is absolutely jaw-dropping from every angle. Winning many awards from the Good Guys Columbus Builders Choice award to the NSRA Louisville Top 25 Pro Pick, this 1956 is well deserving candidate for all the attention it receives. As you approach it from a distance, it looks like just a very well done 1956 Bel-Air. However, as you get closer the subtle modifications start to jump out at you. The grill was kicked out for a more stream-lined look, hood humps from a ’57 Chevrolet were used to make the hood cowl, Porsche headlight lenses set back 1”, custom one-piece stainless roof moldings, removed vent windows from doors, and custom rear bumper notched for the twin exhaust are just a few of the cool and unique twists to this elegant Bel-Air. If you have the privilege of getting the chance to touch it, open the door using the slim Jaguar door handles and slide into the completely custom interior done by Paul Atkins using only the highest quality of materials. As you look out over the smoothed-out dash, you will be amazed at how clean and simple everything was kept in this build. Even the radio was hidden behind a door to keep any clutter out of sight. Despite the clean appearances, this car is fully functional and is a treat to drive! The 5.7L LS1 sitting under the hood comes to life with ease and a low rumble projects out the back. Slide it down into drive and the 4L60E automatic transmission does the work from there! The 350 horsepower is plenty to get this moving in a hurry and the Wilwood disc brakes bring it back to zero just as quick. As you arrive at your destination, get out, and look back at your ride; it is hard not to stop and stare. The ride height was dialed in to perfection and sits nicely on the Billet Specialty wheels. There were no corners cut on this build and is the ultimate choice for someone looking at a car that can be shown or enjoyed. No matter what the use may be, this car is a show stopper anywhere it goes! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1956 Chevrolet Bel-Air in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to present this rare and desirable 1966 Shelby GT350 Fastback Mustang. Documentation and known history are two important attributes for collector cars. This 1966 Shelby GT350, SFM6S2185, possesses plenty of both. As noted in the Shelby American Automobile Clubs Shelby Registry 1965-67, the GT350 was shipped from the Shelby American assembly facility in Los Angeles to Ford Motor Company in June 1966, then delivered to Courtesy Motors in Littleton, Colorado. In the 1970s, the Shelby was owned by a southern California detective who sometimes used this beauty as an undercover vehicle. Since 1979, it has been in the hands of collectors to ensure it was cared for through the years. During the 1980s, it participated in west coast shows, including SAAC-6 and the Palo Alto Concours DElegance. From 1987 to 2013, the GT350 was owned by a private collector; a 1988 restoration resulted in numerous Best of Show awards, perfect scores from both SAAC and the Mustang Club of America, and features in several magazines. Super Ford magazine named it the best Shelby of the year for 1989. The Guardsman Blue GT350 retains much of its original equipment, including the factory-installed 4-speed transmission and matching-numbers 289 Hi-Po V-8 that was modified to Shelby specs for 306 horsepower. Like all 1966 GT350s, the car was delivered to Shelby American as a K-code Mustang fastback, then upgraded with a Cobra aluminum intake with Holley carburetor, Tri-Y headers, Koni shock absorbers, rear traction bars, 15-inch wheels, dash-mounted tachometer, competition seat-belts and wood steering wheel. Externally, the Shelby models differed from regular Mustangs with a fiberglass hood with scoop, Plexiglas rear quarter windows and side scoops. Only 2,378 were built in total. Orlando Mustang was tapped to complete a restoration on the car in 2014, which resulted in its winning Best in Class awards at the 2104 Keels and Wheels Concours DElegance and the 2015 Valero Show. It was featured in the July 2015 Mustang Times and displayed at the Bush Library from August to October 2016. For more information on this 1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 for sale, to see all the HD pictures and videos of it, copy the URL below, and see it at this direct link: www.gatewayclassiccars.com/show/HOU/1019 . 1959 Mercedes-Benz 190SL for sale. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this truly stunning 1959 Mercedes 190SL Roadster finished in Silver Metallic with Red leather interior and Black convertible top. Without exaggeration, this 190SL is the best example we have been privileged to offer in many years. It comes to us from 43 years in the hands of one owner who just completed a total nut & bolt restoration that took three years at a cost of approximately $200,000. Prior history is known and the car comes with a substantial history file including photographic documentation of the restoration. Look closely and you will see that everything is done to a jewel-like level of perfection to make the car equal or superior to when it left the factory. In addition to the huge provenance, the car includes a brand-new set of accessory fitted luggage. It will make a huge impression on a concours lawn and is a potential show champion. We know that on 9/7/1959 the brand-new 1959 190SL was Delivered to Daimler Benz Aktiengesellschaft Werk in Sindelfingen, Germany. This 190SL is highly optioned with every option offered in 1959 including Rossi Red Leather, Becker Mexico Radio, Bosch Running Lights, Fender Mirror, Bumper Guards, Tool Set, Kinder Seats and Matching Luggage. On 10/7/1959 the car was Registered to Gerard Helmecke, 808 Bordesholm, Holstein, Germany. On 10/16/1963 the car was shipped to Benzel Busch Mercedes Motor Car Corp, 28 Grand Ave Englewood, New Jersey, who was and still is the Largest Mercedes Benz dealership in New Jersey. It was purchased by Russel Caulder from Long Island, New York.In August of 1976 the car was purchased by our client from an ad in the New York Times in honor of the first birthday of his daughter. He owned the car since and three years ago embarked upon the epic restoration that results in this beautiful automobile. The 190sl went through an extensive, complete nut and bolt rotisserie restoration. The body was meticulously stripped by new dustless liquid blasting that doesnt harm metal. The engine and original Solex carburetors were restored and tuned to factory specification by German craftsmen. Every internal engine part is brand new. The original and unreplaceable air boxes were shipped to Poland and restored to as-new by expert craftsmen. The headlights, fog lights, windshield wipers and other electrics are all Correct Bosch components. The original Becker Mexico radio was refurbished by technicians in England. The transmission, rear end all suspension including springs, shocks, brakes are all restored to as-new condition. All Brake drums are numbered and original. Correct Rosso Red leather was sourced from Mercedes original suppliers and used in the total interior restoration including the rare Kinder Seat. All seat frames were re-chromed and fitted with new springs and padding in all the seats cushions and backrests. All the gauges were restored to as-new by Palo Alto Speedometer in California. All the chrome was refinished to Show Chrome standards. New correct German rugs. The top frame was refinished and fitted with a correct German Convertible top. All bright work and badges are exceptionally polished. We do not believe you will find the equal of this 190SL and finding a restorable example and duplicating the effort put into this car would prohibitively expensive. This is a car that will bring incredible pride of ownership and instant gratification to its next owner. Independent expert inspection is invited.
